    Get PDF
The article deals with the formation of sacred music by Christians in the early Middle Ages. Basing on the historical sources and scientific literature, the authors show a connection between the musical traditions of Rome, the Western Goths of Spain and the empire of Charlemagne. The teaching of professional church singers, the birth of Mass, the complexity of the musical pattern of Christian singing, the educational ideas of Isidore of Seville and Alcuin of York, the metriz school timely opened by Christian mentors – all of it contributed to the formation of the early medieval educational process. Alcuin is the author of many (about 380) Latin instructive, panegyric, hagiographic, and liturgical poems (among the most famous are The Cuckoo (lat. De cuculo) and The Primate and Saints of the York Church (lat. De pontificibus et sanctis Ecclesiae Eboracensis )). Alcuin also wrote puzzles in poetry and prose. Alkuin conducted the extensive correspondence (with Charles the Great, Anguilbert, Pope Leo III and many others, a total of 232 letters to various people); Alcuin's letters are an important source on the history of the Carolingian society. At the Palace Academy, Alquin taught trivium and quadrivia elements; in his work On True Philosophy, he restored the scheme of the seven liberal arts, following Kassiodor’s parallel between the seven arts and the seven pillars of the temple of Wisdom of Solomon. He compiled textbooks on various subjects (some in a dialogical form). The Art of Grammar (lat. Ars grammatica) and the Slovene of the Most Noble Young Man Pipin with Albin Scholastic (Lat. Disputatio regalis et nobilissimi juvenis Pippini cum Albino scholastico) became very famous. Alcuin’s textbooks on dialectics, dogmatics, rhetoric, and liturgy are also known

The work analyzes the mechanism of legal support of e-democracy development in Ukraine and European Union in a part of formation and implementation of its tools. A position of central executive authorities in Ukraine in the context of e-democracy development is considered. The Ukrainian legislative base of formation and realization of e-democracy tools have been studied, and ones, considered priority in the aspect of their legal support and implementation level, have been separated. These e-democracy tools in Ukraine include: e-consulting, e-petitions, e-appeals, participation budgets (public budgets). The analysis of e-democracy tools, offered and implemented in the EU countries allowed to establish a series of them, needed additional attention from both state authorities of Ukraine and Ukrainian publicity. These tools include: e-voting, e-referendum, e-plebiscites, and e-election process totally. Based on comparison analysis of using e-democracy tools in Ukraine and EU, there have been separated obstacles on the way of potential improvement of the national legal mechanism of e-democracy development as to its tools usage at the national, regional and local levels. The main ones are: imperfection of resource provision of the development legal mechanism; absence of an integral idea of the development strategy of e-democracy as an institution in the state; predominance of e-services automation development over development of tools of active involvement of citizens in participation in the public-political life of the country. Recommendations for public authorities as to improvement of the existent legal mechanism of implementation, use and development of e-democracy tools in a part of development of a series of strategic documents that must fix the priority of e-democracy development, its resource support; comprehensive support to public initiatives as to implementation and development of e-democracy and e-participation tools and so on, have been substantiated

THE IMPORTANCE OF SOCIAL NETWORKS AS A TOOL FOR EMPLOYER BRANDING FROM THE VIEWPOINT OF SLOVAK CONSUMERS

    Get PDF
Social networks are a phenomenon that has become a regular part of life for the majority of consumers and they spend much of free time there. With the increasing popularity of social networks, the possibilities of their use are also expanding. Recently, the trend of social networks has also penetrated into the personnel marketing. Due to the current situation on the labour market, in addition to traditional techniques, companies have begun to use the tools of the social networks to recruit employees and build their employer brands. The aim of this article is to define the theoretical basis of social networks and their usage in employer branding from the viewpoint of domestic (Slovak) and foreign authors. This includes an analysis of the practical usage of social networks in employer branding. The secondary data for the analysis were obtained from annual companies reports, statistical tables and published professional publications. In order to determine the perception of social networks as a tool for employer branding, a questionnaire survey was conducted among Slovak people. General scientific methods were applied for the processing of the data, as well as mathematical methods to evaluate the data, collated from the results of the questionnaire survey. Based on this, benefits of social networks and their usage in employer branding are highlighted

TYPES OF THE ENTERPRISE FINANCIAL POLICY IN THE PROCESS OF ITS IMPLEMENTATION

    Get PDF
The current research conducts the study of the enterprise financial policy in an aspect of formalising its types in an attempt to maximize its efficiency and practical sense as the latter are basically absent due to lacking proper scientific background. That is, subsystems of financial policy are perceived by domestic scholars as its types, which make it impossible to create a rational, functioning and effective managerial system. Arranging the enterprise financial policy to specific types allows easier achievement of a chosen strategy and formulated objectives as each such type is a set of methods, levers and tools for making and implementing management decisions, which provides optimisation to this process, thus achieving the maximum efficiency of financial management The analysis of domestic scientific achievements on the researched problems, or rather total lack of such, proved the necessity to substantiate the types of enterprise financial policy. Thus, the subsystems of financial policy: depreciation, tax, dividend and others are perceived by domestic scholars as its types, which lead to an erroneous understanding of its essence and process mechanism of its implementation, and hence – the controversial scientific and practical value of existing research. The given research proposes following types of the enterprise financial policy: stabilizing financial policy, proliferative financial policy, innovative financial policy and urgent financial policy, that are meant to be used in specific economic conditions and in accordance with current managerial objectives and maximize the effectiveness of financial management

ENTROPY-INFORMATIONAL APPROACH TO ANALYSIS OF SELF-OGRANIZATION OF BANKING SYSTEM

    Get PDF
The evolving economy today is non-stationary in the nature of its character of behavior which becomes the reason of emergence of imbalances and instability of the market environment that cause the emergence of nonlinear processes in functioning of the banking system which may carry a threat to its development. Super fast tempos of change in the globalized world generate flows of institutional and innovative disturbances that test banks and banking systems for viability and encourage them to study the peculiarities of their behavior in terms of non-linearity and non-equilibrium. Knowledge and interpretation of synergetic properties of the banking system today have not only theoretical but also practical significance for development and implementation of the concept of self-organization of banks. The theoretical questions of mutual influence and interconnection of entropy and information on the processes of self-organization in the banking system are considered. The functioning of the banking system in an unstable environment with chaotic and orderly behavioral stages is characterized by a nonlinear dynamics of entropy, as well as a significant dependence on the influence of management information that enters the system. Saturation of the banking system with this information makes it possible to force out chaos from it, it increases its orderliness and effect of functioning. From the point of view of entropy and informational approach, the nature and conditions of self-organization in the banking system are disclosed. It was established, that fundamental condition for self-organization in the banking system is to transfer the system to a non-equilibrium state when it becomes quite sensitive to external disturbances. It is noted, that entropy represents a measure of disorder of the system, and its growth increases chaos and can lead to devastating consequences in the functioning of the system. The processes of self-organization in the banking system will only be possible if its order is growing

    Get PDF
The article examines the existing methods for checking spatial awareness on the basis of which seven of the most common defects of test content are detected, which automatically grow into a gap in the spatial awareness development tests (SADT). The work describes ways to minimize the effect of gaps in the test, or complete elimination by the proposed and proven methods. There was found the essence of the analogy of various SADT and the direct application of general and innovative testing principles as means of overcoming the gaps. The cases, where overcoming of the gaps is the basis for the development of spatial awareness and spatial thinking, were identified. There was systematically reviewed the module of unprocessed, missed tasks in the test, which led to a detailed analysis and investigation of the representation of graphic material in the tasks. Mini-testing of the influence of the graphic component on the speed and quality of the accomplishment of spatial tasks was carried out. The results of the mini-test showed the smallest number of errors in the cubic traditional model and the traditional model with use of shadows, indicating their successful use in the created training and evaluation course «PROSTIR-UA». Also, there was illustrated the necessity after processing of the test results, there was presented an example of the use of a block diagram of a combined algorithm of the spatial awareness development test, in the final stage of which, for the test taker, a recommendation base of the necessary auxiliary tasks is made, based on the results of the testing. The presented study aims to offer advanced approaches to existing methods and methods of motivating students to effectively use spatial awareness development tests and new tools for expanding and applying spatial knowledge

In today's context, it is considered that with the reduction of the risk of military intervention, military security has come to the forefront and economic security has become a priority for the national interests of the country. As regional forces seek to expand markets, provide access to finance and the latest technologies, economic security has become a necessary component of regional forces' ability to spread their influence. The article is devoted to the study of national security and its relation to the functioning and formation of the geo-economic strategy in the conditions of globalization of the world, taking into account the national interests of countries. Each stage of the realization of the national interests of the country has its own assessment of its geopolitical, geostrategic and geoeconomic status, security threats and main carriers of these threats, mechanism of realization of national interests, resources, used for the purposes of such realization. Each of the stages provide its own assessment of the main definitions and categories of security, the main directions of geo-economic policy. The complex of current global mechanisms, aimed at ensuring the economic security of states from external threats, is investigated. The importance of forming the protective instruments of Ukraine's foreign economic policy is considered. The emphasis is placed on economic security, which is the foundation and material foundation of national security. The special place of economic security in the structure of national security is due to the fact that almost no type of security can be sufficiently implemented without economic security

    Get PDF
The main responsibilities for the European Higher Education Area are based on processes‘ execution through the knowledge, therefore each institution has to evaluate its own knowledge and organize activities implementing these knowledge goals. Knowledge management (KM) is considered one of the main disciplines of the 21st century, which helps organizations to create a competitive advantage, to identify unique knowledge within the organization and to develop further knowledge creation and integration into activities. KM can be analyzed specifically, however it‘s recognized that human resources remain the most important factor, which leads to effective implementation of the stages of KM. Preparing trained staff for the knowledge society and economy, who are able to assess the benefits and importance of knowledge, higher education institutions (HEI) shape the future behavior of future market players, define the need for future competences and values. Following this example, it‘s useful to analyze, how KM processes are integrated into the academic community and which role the KM plays in the development of HEI‘s activity and competence
