DESIGN AND MANUFACTURE OF AN ACCESS RAMP FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES
No full textU ovom završnom radu prikazan je postupak dizajniranja i tehničkog rješenja pristupne rampe koja bi olakšala ulazak osobama sa posebnim potrebama u bazen uz zadovoljavanje sigurnosnih standarda. U uvodnom dijelu opisan je uređaj za spuštanje osoba sa posebnim potrebama u bazen i date su njegove karakteristike. Zbog konfiguracije rubnika bazena navedeni uređaj nije moguće postaviti na rub bazena. Ovaj nedostatak zahtjeva izradu posebne pristupne rampe. Pomoću programa Autodesk Inventor napravljene su dvije varijante dizajna od kojih je odabrana prihvatljivija varijanta. Dizajn je usklađen sa potrebama uređaja i izvršena je FEM analiza kako bi se provjerili uvjeti krutosti i čvrstoće. Konstrukcija je izrađena od aluminijskih legura što omogućava jednostavnu manipulaciju rampom. Ovako projektirana rampa, uz pridržavanje navedenih uputa, omogućava siguran pristup osobama sa invaliditetom na javne bazene Poljud.This final thesis presents the design process and technical solution of an access ramp intended to facilitate the entry of persons with disabilities into a swimming pool, while meeting applicable safety standards. The introductory part describes a device used to lower persons with special needs into the pool, along with its main characteristics. Due to the configuration of the pool’s edge, the mentioned device cannot be installed at the poolside. This limitation necessitates the development of a custom access ramp. Using Autodesk Inventor, two design variants were created, from which the more suitable option was selected. The design was adapted to meet the requirements of the device, and a FEM analysis was performed to verify stiffness and strength conditions. The structure is made of aluminum alloys, which allows for easy handling of the ramp. When used in accordance with the provided instructions, the ramp enables safe access for persons with disabilities to the public swimming pools at Poljud
ENTREPRENEURIAL PROJECT "TRAMONTANA" - FROM IDEA TO REALIZATION
No full textOvaj završni rad prikazuje razvoj poduzetničkog projekta otvaranja pizzerije „Tramontana“ u Splitu, od početne ideje do realizacije. Rad analizira ključne aspekte poduzetništva u ugostiteljskom sektoru, uključujući tržišnu analizu, poslovni plan, financijske pokazatelje i marketinške strategije. Poseban naglasak stavljen je na konkurentsku prednost pizzerije, koja se temelji na autentičnoj napolitanskoj recepturi, kvalitetnim lokalnim sastojcima i inovativnom konceptu otvorene kuhinje s „pizza show“ iskustvom. Korištenjem SWOT analize i Porterovog modela konkurentnosti, istražene su prilike i izazovi na tržištu. Financijska analiza pokazuje da je projekt isplativ i održiv, uz realna očekivanja rasta i stabilne profitabilnosti u dugoročnom razdoblju.This final paper presents the development of the entrepreneurial project for opening the “Tramontana” pizzeria in Split, from the initial idea to realization. The study examines key aspects of entrepreneurship in the hospitality sector, including market analysis, business planning, financial indicators, and marketing strategies. Special emphasis is placed on the competitive advantage of the pizzeria, which is based on authentic Neapolitan recipes, highquality local ingredients, and an innovative open-kitchen concept featuring a “pizza show” experience. Using SWOT analysis and Porter’s competitive model, the study explores market opportunities and challenges. The financial analysis confirms that the project is profitable and sustainable, with realistic expectations of growth and stable long-term profitability

No full textOvaj diplomski rad analizira elektrodistribucijsku mrežu Terenske jedinice Sinj, kao važnog dijela sustava Elektrodalmacije Split. Fokus je na tehničkom opisu postojećeg stanja mreže, uključujući trafostanice, kabelsku infrastrukturu te analizu pouzdanosti napajanja i kvarova na naponskim razinama 10 kV i 0,4 kV. Posebno su obrađeni izazovi rada u geografskim i infrastrukturnim uvjetima ovoga područja te su prikazani planovi modernizacije kroz konkretne projekte kabliranja. Rad također ukazuje na sve veću prisutnost obnovljivih izvora energije u distribucijskom sustavu i njihovu integraciju u postojeću mrežu, s ciljem povećanja sigurnosti i učinkovitosti opskrbe.This thesis analyzes the electricity distribution network of the Sinj Field Unit, an important part of the Elektrodalmacija Split system. The focus is on the technical overview of the current state of the network, including substations, cable infrastructure, and an analysis of supply reliability and faults at the 10 kV and 0.4 kV voltage levels. Particular attention is given to the operational challenges posed by the geographical and infrastructural conditions of the area, as well as to modernization plans through specific cabling projects. The thesis also highlights the growing presence of renewable energy sources within the distribution system and their integration into the existing grid, aiming to improve the security and efficiency of electricity supply

No full textU posljednjih nekoliko godina poslovne kombinacije, a posebno poslovna spajanja i poslovna preuzimanja su postale sve češća pojava među društvima. Ovim radom će se prikazati i pobliže objasniti osnovni pojmovi računovodstva i poslovnih kombinacija. Prvi dio rada obuhvaća općenite podatke o računovodstvu i njegovu podjelu, detaljan opis financijskog računovodstva te općeniti prikaz poslovnih kombinacija. Ostatak rada baziran je na detaljan prikaz primjera poslovnih kombinacija i pojmova koji su vezani uz spajanje i preuzimanje. Računovodstvo goodwilla i konsolidirani financijski izvještaji su rezultati poslovnih kombinacija koji su detaljnije pojašnjeni u nastavku.In the last few years, business combinations, and especially business mergers and business acquisitions, have become an increasingly common occurrence among companies. This paper will present and explain in more detail the basic concepts of accounting and business combinations. The first part of the paper includes general information about accounting and its division, a detailed description of financial accounting, and a general overview of business combinations. The rest of the paper is based on a detailed overview of examples of business combinations and concepts related to mergers and acquisitions. Goodwill accounting and consolidated financial statements are the results of business combinations, which are explained in more detail below
ANALYSIS OF TOURISM DEMAND IN THE REPUBLIC OF CROATIA
No full textTurizam je, zbog brojnih ekonomskih koristi koje ima za gospodarstva različitih zemalja stekao status važnog pokretača gospodarskog razvoja. Turizam ima značajan utjecaj i na hrvatsko gospodarstvo prvenstveno zbog svog doprinosa BDP-u, zapošljavanju i ostvarivanju inozemnih prihoda od turističke potrošnje. Budući da turistička potrošnja nastaje trošenjem financijskih sredstava subjekata turističke potražnje u svrhu zadovoljenja turističkih potreba, analiza turističke potražnje postaje zanimljiva i teoretičarima i praktičarima turizma. Imajući u vidu naprijed navedeno, cilj ovoga rada je teorijski obrazložiti pojam turističke potražnje i na primjeru Republike Hrvatske analizirati obujam i obilježja turističke potražnje Republike Hrvatske, kao izrazito receptivne zemlje koja značajan dio svog BDP-a stvara upravo u turizmu. Iz provedene analize proizlazi da u Republici Hrvatskoj turizam ima veliki značaj. Postoji velika ovisnost hrvatskog gospodarstva o turizmu, jer upravo turizam stvara ogromne priljeve deviza koje bi bilo dobro iskoristiti za unapređenje i razvoj cjelokupnog gospodarstva.Tourism has gained the status of an important driver of economic development due to numerous economic benefits it provides to the economies of different countries. Tourism has a significant impact on the Croatian economy primarily due to its contribution to GDP, employment, and generating foreign income from tourist spending. Since tourist spending arises from the expenditure of financial resources by entities of tourist demand to satisfy tourist needs, the analysis of tourist demand becomes interesting to both theorists and practitioners of tourism. Considering the above, the goal of this paper is to theoretically explain the concept of tourist demand and analyze the volume and characteristics of tourist demand in the Republic of Croatia, as a highly receptive country that generates a significant portion of its GDP in tourism. The analysis indicates that tourism is of great importance in the Republic of Croatia. There is a great dependence of the Croatian economy on tourism, as tourism generates huge inflows of foreign currency that would be good to utilize for the improvement and development of the entire economy
WIRELESS TIMING SYSTEM FOR ATHLETIC RACES
No full textAtletika sadrži mnoge discipline kao što su skok u vis, skok u dalj, bacanje koplja i bacanje kugle, ali fokus ovog rada su discipline trčanja, odnosno utrke na 100 metara. U ovom radu se također obrađuju prednosti i nedostatci mjerenja vremena pomoću različitih sustava i uređaja u sportskim natjecanjima, kao i sama izrada bežičnog uređaja koji mjeri vrijeme atletičara u utrkama na 100 metara. Za pravilnu funkcionalnost uređaja potrebne su određene komponente i senzori pa rad obrađuje: LoRa sustave za bežičnu komunikaciju na velike udaljenosti, LiDAR sustave za brzu i točnu detekciju pokreta, GPS module za precizno dohvaćanje točnog vremena, te korištenje OLED ekrana i kvarcnih satova za prikaz i praćenje trenutačnog vremena. Srce uređaja je ESP32 mikrokontroler koji sve komponente sapaja u jednu funkcionalnu cjelinu. Obrađuju se i pojedini protokoli korišteni u radu uređaja, C++ kod korišten za programiranje, te izrada tiskane pločice na koju će se smjestiti sve komponente. To uključuje i upoznavanje sa sučeljima Arduino IDE i EasyEDA.Athletics contains many disciplines such as the high jump, long jump, javelin throw, and ball throw, but focus of this study is on the running disciplines, specifically the 100 meter race. This study also discusses the advantages and disadvantages of various time-measuring systems and devices in sports competitions, as well as the development of a wireless time measuring device of athletes in 100 meter races. For the device to function properly, certain components and sensors are required, so the study also covers: LoRa systems for long-range wireless communication, LiDAR systems for fast and accurate motion detection, GPS modules for precisely acquiring the correct time, and the use of OLED screens and quartz crystal clocks for displaying and tracking the current time. The heart of the device is an ESP32 microcontroller that integrates all components into a single functional unit. Also covered are the specific protocols used in the device's operation, the C++ code used for programming, and the design of the printed circuit board (PCB) that will house all the components. This includes an introduction to the Arduino IDE and EasyEDA interfaces
ENTREPRENEURIAL CENTERS IN THE REPUBLIC OF CROATIA
No full textPoduzetništvo je dinamičan proces koji obuhvaća inovacije, preuzimanje rizika i stvaranje vrijednosti kroz poslovne aktivnosti. U središtu ovog rada nalaze se poduzetnički centri, kao dio poduzetničke infrastrukture, čija je svrha poticanje poduzetničkog načina razmišljanja kroz edukacije, radionice i povezivanje akademske zajednice s gospodarstvom. Iako su važan segment razvoja gospodarstva, poduzetnički centri još su nedovoljno istraženi, posebno u kontekstu Republike Hrvatske. U radu se analiziraju dva primjera – Zagrebački inovacijski centar d.o.o. i Poduzetnički centar Cedra Split j.d.o.o., kako bi se dobio uvid u njihovu ulogu i izazove. Zaključno, rad pruža pregled trenutnog stanja poduzetničkih centara u Hrvatskoj te nudi preporuke za njihov daljnji razvoj i jačanje uloge u poticanju poduzetništva.Entrepreneurship is a dynamic process that involves innovation, risk-taking, and value creation through business activities. This paper focuses on entrepreneurial centers, as part of the entrepreneurial infrastructure, whose purpose is to encourage entrepreneurial thinking through education, workshops, and the connection between academia and industry. Although they are a key component of economic development, entrepreneurial centers remain insufficiently researched, especially in the context of the Republic of Croatia. The paper analyzes two examples – Zagreb Innovation Center Ltd. and CEDRA Split Entrepreneurial Center Ltd. – to gain insight into their roles and challenges. In conclusion, the paper provides an overview of the current state of entrepreneurial centers in Croatia and offers recommendations for their further development and strengthening of their role in promoting entrepreneurship
CUSTOMER'S EXPERIENCES AND ATTITUDES TOWARDS THE USE OF SELF-SERVICE CHECKOUTS
No full textOvaj diplomski rad analizira iskustva i stavove kupaca naspram korištenja samoposlužnih blagajni. Rad istražuje utjecaj tehnologije u maloprodajnim procesima te njeno prihvaćanje od strane potrošača. Teorijski dio rada pruža uvid u osnovne pojmove maloprodaje, klasifikaciju njenih formata te podjelu s obzirom na prostornu organizaciju. Nakon toga slijedi analiza tehnologije pametnih prodavaonica, pri čemu je naglasak na RFID sustavima, mobilnim aplikacijama i biometrijskim modelima identifikacije. Drugi dio rada odnosi se na istraživački dio koji je rezultat kvantitativnog istraživanja provedenog metodom anketiranja na uzorku od 204 ispitanika. Cilj istraživanja je bio ispitati učestalost korištenja samoposlužnih blagajni te evaluirati korisničko iskustvo. Rezultati prikazuju visoku razinu prihvaćenosti i učestalo korištenje samoposlužnih blagajni. Nedostatke koje ispitanici navode pri korištenju samoposlužnih blagajni se tiču tehničkih poteškoća, osjećaja nesigurnosti i potrebe za ljudskom interakcijom.This thesis analyses customers' experiences and attitudes towards the use of self-service checkouts. It explores the impact of technology on retail processes and its acceptance by consumers. The theoretical part of the work provides an insight into the basic terms of retail trade, the classification of its formats and the division of spatial organisation. This is followed by an analysis of smart store technology, with an emphasis on RFID systems, mobile applications, and biometric identification models. The second part of the paper presents the research findings, which are the result of a quantitative study conducted using a survey method with a sample of 204 respondents. The research aimed to examine the frequency of use of selfservice cash registers and to evaluate the user experience. The results show a prominent level of acceptance and frequent use of self-service checkouts. Disadvantages cited by respondents when using self-service checkouts concern technical difficulties, feelings of insecurity and the need for human interaction
CORPORATE GOVERNANCE ON THE EXAMPLE OF ATLANTIC GRUPA D.D.
No full textKorporativno upravljanje predstavlja ključni koncept u suvremenom poslovanju koji osigurava odgovorno, transparentno i učinkovito vođenje poduzeća u skladu s interesima dioničara, zaposlenika i šire društvene zajednice. Ovaj diplomski rad analizira sustav korporativnog upravljanja na primjeru Atlantic Grupe, jedne od vodećih regionalnih prehrambenih i distribucijskih kompanija sa sjedištem u Hrvatskoj. U uvodnom dijelu rada objašnjeni su temeljni pojmovi, teorije i modeli korporativnog upravljanja, uključujući teoriju agencije, teoriju dionika, kao i anglo-američki, njemački i japanski model upravljanja. Pored teorijskog okvira, rad donosi pregled zakonodavnog i institucionalnog konteksta korporativnog upravljanja u Republici Hrvatskoj, s posebnim naglaskom na Zakon o trgovačkim društvima, Kodeks korporativnog upravljanja Zagrebačke burze i smjernice OECD-a. Središnji dio rada posvećen je analizi Atlantic Grupe, njezinoj povijesti, organizacijskoj strukturi, strateškim prioritetima i upravljačkim praksama. Prikazana je struktura upravljačkih tijela, način donošenja odluka, unutarnji nadzor te sustavi izvještavanja i upravljanja rizicima. Poseban naglasak stavljen je na transparentnost, usklađenost s ESG načelima i održivo poslovanje. Atlantic Grupa redovito objavljuje financijska i nefinancijska izvješća, a njena posvećenost odgovornom upravljanju prepoznata je kroz više domaćih i međunarodnih priznanja. U završnom dijelu rada analizirani su izazovi s kojima se kompanija suočava, uključujući globalizaciju, regulatorne promjene, digitalnu transformaciju, potrebu za inovacijama i očuvanje korporativne kulture u međunarodnom kontekstu. Rad potvrđuje da je kvalitetno korporativno upravljanje presudno za stabilnost, održivost i konkurentnost poduzeća. Atlantic Grupa pokazuje kako se integracijom dobrih praksi, zakonske usklađenosti i strateškog upravljanja može postići ravnoteža između ekonomskih ciljeva i društvene odgovornosti. Ovaj rad tako doprinosi boljem razumijevanju važnosti korporativnog upravljanja te može poslužiti kao vrijedan izvor za buduće stručnjake i menadžere u području poslovne etike i menadžmenta.Corporate governance is a key concept in contemporary business that ensures responsible, transparent, and efficient management of companies in line with the interests of shareholders, employees, and the broader community. This thesis analyzes the corporate governance system using Atlantic Grupa as a case study, one of the leading regional food and distribution companies headquartered in Croatia. The introductory part of the paper explains the fundamental concepts, theories, and models of corporate governance, including agency theory, stakeholder theory, and the Anglo-American, German, and Japanese governance models. In addition to the theoretical framework, the thesis provides an overview of the legal and institutional context of corporate governance in the Republic of Croatia, with particular emphasis on the Companies Act, the Zagreb Stock Exchange Corporate Governance Code, and OECD guidelines. The central part of the study focuses on Atlantic Grupa, its history, organizational structure, strategic priorities, and governance practices. The analysis highlights the structure of governing bodies, decision-making processes, internal control systems, and risk management mechanisms. Special attention is given to transparency, ESG compliance, and sustainable business practices. Atlantic Grupa regularly publishes financial and non-financial reports, and its commitment to responsible governance has been recognized through numerous domestic and international awards. In the final chapters, the thesis examines the main challenges the company faces, including globalization, regulatory changes, digital transformation, the need for continuous innovation, and maintaining corporate culture across international markets. Ultimately, the study confirms that strong corporate governance is crucial for long-term stability, sustainability, and competitiveness. Atlantic Grupa demonstrates how the integration of best practices, regulatory compliance, and strategic leadership can successfully balance economic goals with social responsibility. This thesis contributes to a deeper understanding of the importance of corporate governance and may serve as a valuable resource for future professionals and managers in the fields of business ethics and management
THE IMPACT OF 3D PRINTING PARAMETERS ON THE TENSILE STRENGTH OF POLYCARBONATE (PC)
No full textOvaj diplomski rad bavi se ispitivanjem utjecaja različitih parametara 3D ispisa na vlačnu čvrstoću polikarbonata (PC), na ispitnim uzorcima izrađenih aditivnom proizvodnjom. Cilj rada je utvrditi kako parametri ispisa (debljina sloja i kut ispisa) utječu na vlačnu čvrstoću izrađenih uzoraka. Uzorci u obliku epruveta tipa 1B (prema standardu EN ISO 527-2) izrađeni su pomoću 3D printera „Original Prusa i3 MK3S“, pri čemu su debljina sloja i kut ispisa varirani. Nakon ispisa, svih 13 epruveta su podvrgnute vlačnom ispitivanju. Za vlačno ispitivanje korištena je kidalica izrađena u sklopu drugog završnog rada. Na osnovu dobivenih rezultata prikazano je kako parametri ispisa utječu na vlačnu čvrstoću polikarbonata te kako optimizirati parametre za postizanje boljih mehaničkih svojstava gotovih proizvoda.This thesis investigates the various influence of 3D printing parameters on the tensile strength of polycarbonate (PC), on the test specimens made using additive manufacturing. The aim of the research is to determine how printing parameters (layer thickness and printing angle) affect the tensile strength of the produced samples. Specimens in the form of type 1B test bars (according to EN ISO 527-2 standard) were fabricated using a „Original Prusa i3 MK3S 3D printer“, with variations in layer thickness and printing angle. After printing, all 13 specimens were subjected to tensile testing. The tensile tests were performed using a testing machine constructed as part of another final project. Based on the obtained results, the influence of printing parameters on the tensile strength of polycarbonate was demonstrated, as well as ways to optimize these parameters to achieve better mechanical properties of the final products
