Application of digital marketing in rural tourism in Osječko-baranjska County
Razumijevanje važnosti primjene digitalnog marketinga u ruralnom prostoru može biti ključno za poboljšanje produktivnosti i konkurentnosti poljoprivrednih gospodarstava. Društvene mreže postale su ključni dio modernog digitalnog marketinga i kontinuirano se razvijaju kako bi zadovoljile potrebe korisnika i marketinških profesionalaca. Mobilni segment digitalnog marketinga igra ključnu ulogu u ovom razvoju jer je mobilno korištenje interneta sveprisutno i raste iz dana u dan. Društvene mreže su jedan od glavnih kanala za promociju i interakciju s ciljanom publikom na mobilnim uređajima. Stoga je važno pratiti trendove i prilagoditi svoje marketinške strategije kako biste ostali konkurentni u ovom dinamičnom okruženju. Poseban naglasak stavlja se i na razvoj ruralnog turizma u Osječko-baranjskoj županiji, gdje digitalni marketing postaje ključan alat za promociju lokalnih proizvoda, smještaja, gastronomske ponude i kulturne baštine. Kroz digitalne kanale moguće je privući turiste, povećati vidljivost seoskih domaćinstava te potaknuti gospodarski rast u ruralnim područjima. Korištenje društvenih mreža, optimizacija web stranica i oglašavanje putem interneta značajno pridonose boljoj povezanosti ponude i potražnje u ovom specifičnom obliku turizma.Understanding the importance of applying digital marketing in agriculture can be crucial for improving the productivity and competitiveness of agricultural holdings. Social media has become a key part of modern digital marketing and continues to evolve to meet the needs of users and marketing professionals. The mobile segment of digital marketing plays a vital role in this development, as mobile internet usage is widespread and growing daily. Social media is one of the main channels for promotion and interaction with the target audience on mobile devices. Therefore, it is essential to follow trends and adapt marketing strategies in order to remain competitive in this dynamic environment.Special emphasis is also placed on the development of rural tourism in Osijek-Baranja County, where digital marketing becomes a key tool for promoting local products, accommodation, gastronomic offerings, and cultural heritage. Through digital channels, it is possible to attract tourists, increase the visibility of rural households, and stimulate economic growth in rural areas. The use of social media, website optimization, and online advertising significantly contributes to better alignment between supply and demand in this specific form of tourism

slučaja regije Cvelferija. Daje se kratki povijesni pregled i opis specifičnosti područja Cvelferije koje obuhvaća
dio Vukovarsko-srijemske županije, s deomgrafskim izazovima i razvojnim potencijalima. Fokus rada je na
aktivnostima koje se provode u svrhu ruralnog i regionalnog razvoja i kroz djelovanja LAG-a Šumanovci.
Ciljevi rada postižu se obradom informacija iz sekundarnih izvora: s internetskih stranica LAG-a Šumanovci
te općina s područja Cvelferije, kao i iz lokalnih razvojnih strateških dokumenata, te primarne podatke
prikupljene intervjuima s voditeljicom LAG-a Šumanovci.The paper identifies the basic contributions of the activities of LAGs in rural and regional development through a case study of the Cvelferija region. A brief historical overview and description of the specifics of the Cvelferija area, which includes part of the Vukovar-Srijem County, is given, with demographic challenges and development potential. The focus of the work is on the activities that are carried out for the purpose of rural and regional development and through the actions of LAG Šumanovci. The goals of the work are achieved by processing information from secondary sources: from the websites of LAG Šumanovci and municipalities from the area of Cvelferija, as well as from local development strategic documents, and primary data collected through interviews with the head of LAG Šumanovci
Ambrosia - allergenic plant
Ambrozija (Ambrosia artemisiifolia L.) poznata je i kao pelinolisna ambrozija. Ona je invazivna jednogodišnja biljka porijeklom iz Sjeverne Amerike. U Europi se proširila krajem 19. i početkom 20. stoljeća te danas predstavlja veliki ekološki i zdravstveni problem. Raste u visinu od 20 cm do 2 m. Ima perasto razdijeljene listove slične listovima pelina. Cvjeta od srpnja do listopada i proizvodi ogromne količine peludi. Ambrozija je jedan od najjačih prirodnih alergena. Njezina pelud izaziva alergijski rinitis (peludnu hunjavicu), astmu i druge respiratorne probleme, čak i u vrlo malim koncentracijama. Ambrozija smanjuje bioraznolikost, zagušuje druge biljke i smanjuje prinose usjeva, te povećava troškove zdravstvenog sustava. Suzbija se redovitom košnjom prije cvatnje (lipanj–srpanj), mehaničkim čupanjem, oranjem i tretiranjem herbicidima. U mnogim zemljama obvezno je njeno uklanjanje. Cilj ovog rada je razumijevanje utjecaja ambrozije na zdravlje ljudi i okoliš, te razvoj mjera za suzbijanje širenja ove invazivne vrste. To uključuje proučavanje utjecaja na zdravlje, istraživanje načina suzbijanja i prevencije širenja, te razvoj strategija za očuvanje ekosustava.Ragweed (Ambrosia artemisiifolia L.) is an invasive annual plant native to North America. It spread to Europe in the late 19th and early 20th centuries and today represents a major environmental and health problem. It grows to a height from 20 cm to 2 m. It has pinnately divided leaves, like wormwood leaves. It blooms from July to October and produces huge amounts of pollen. Ragweed is one of the strongest natural allergens. Its pollen causes allergic rhinitis (hay fever), asthma and other respiratory problems even in very low concentrations. It suffocates other plants and reduces biodiversity. It reduces crop yields and increases the costs of the health system and control. It is controlled by regular mowing before flowering (June–July), mechanical pulling, plowing and herbicide treatment. In many countries, its removal is mandatory. The aim of this work is to understand the impact of ragweed on human health and the environment, to develop measures of control and the spread of this invasive species. This includes studying health impacts, researching methods for control and prevention of spread, and developing strategies for ecosystem conservation
ANTIFUNGAL EFFECT OF QUATERNARY PYRIDINIUM COMPOUNDS ON PHYTOPATHOGENIC POLYPHAGOUS FUNGI OF THE GENERA FUSARIUM, BOTRYOTINIA, AND SCLEROTINIA
Biljne bolesti uzrokovane rodovima Fusarium, Botryotinia i Sclerotinia značajno smanjuju prinose i kvalitetu usjeva. Njihova otpornost i patogenost čine kontrolu izazovnom. Kvaterne piridinijeve soli, odnosno nikotinamidni i izonikotinamidni derivati, manje su toksični i štetni za okoliš od komercijalnih fungicida. Cilj istraživanja bio je ispitati antifungalno djelovanje kvaternih piridinijevih spojeva na F. oxysporum, F. culmorum, S. sclerotiorum i B. cinerea. U in vitro uvjetima analizirano je djelovanje na porast micelija, vijabilnost konidija/sklerocija i rast kličnih cijevi pri koncentracijama od 10 i 100 μg/mL. Rezultati in vitro istraživanja pokazali su značajno bolje antifungalno djelovanje na porast micelija S. sclerotiorum, F. oxysporum i B. cinerea u usporedbi s kontrolom. Protiv F. culmorum 100 μg/mL bila je najučinkovitija za nikotinamidne spojeve, dok je djelovanje izonikotinamidnih spojeva bilo neovisno o koncentraciji. Analiza varijance potvrdila je statistički značajno inhibitorno djelovanje na klijavost konidija B. cinerea pri čemu su niže koncentracije (10 μg/mL) bile učinkovitije. Inhibitorno djelovanje na sklerocije S. sclerotiorum bilo je veće pri višim koncentracijama (100 μg/mL). Istraživanje je također uključivalo in vivo testove na prirodnim supstratima (mrkva, pšenica, rajčica) kako bi se ispitalo antifungalno djelovanje odabranih spojeva. In vivo testovi na rajčici i mrkvi nisu pokazali potpunu inhibiciju porasta micelija pri 100 μg/mL. Nikotinamidni derivat (12) pokazao je najbolje antifungalno djelovanje, ali bez značajne razlike od kontrole. Nikotinamidni derivati (8), (9), (10) i izonikotinamidni derivat (12) pokazali su jednako djelovanje kao komercijalni fungicid na porast micelija S. sclerotiorum i B. cinerea. F. culmorum bio je najmanje osjetljiv na sve spojeve. Kvaterne piridinijeve soli imaju potencijal za razvoj ekološki prihvatljivijih fungicida što zahtijeva daljnje istraživanje i optimizaciju.Plant diseases caused by the genera Fusarium, Botryotinia, and Sclerotinia significantly reduce crop yields and quality. Their resistance and pathogenicity make control challenging. Quaternary pyridinium salts, including nicotinamide and isonicotinamide derivatives, are less toxic and environmentally harmful than commercial fungicides. This study investigated the antifungal activity of quaternary pyridinium compounds against F. oxysporum, F. culmorum, S. sclerotiorum, and B. cinerea. The effects on mycelial growth, conidial/sclerotial viability, and germ tube development were evaluated in vitro at 10 and 100 μg/ml.μg/ml. The results showed significantly better antifungal activity on S. sclerotiorum, F. oxysporum, and B. cinerea than the control. For F. culmorum, nicotinamide compounds at 100 μg/mL exhibited the highest efficacy, whereas isonicotinamide compounds showed concentration-independent effects. Similarly, analysis of variance confirmed a statistically significant inhibition of B. cinerea conidial germination, with 10 μg/mL proving more effective. Higher concentrations (100 μg/mL) inhibited S. sclerotiorum sclerotia better. In vivo, tests on carrots, wheat, and tomatoes did not show complete inhibition of mycelial growth at 100 μg/mL. The nicotinamide derivative (12) had the best antifungal effect but with no significant difference to the control. Nicotinamide derivatives (8), (9), (10) and isonicotinamide derivative (12) had a similar effect on mycelial growth of S. sclerotiorum and B. cinerea as commercially available fungicides, while F. culmorum was the least sensitive to all compounds. Quaternary pyridinium salts show potential as environmentally friendly fungicides that require further research and optimization
Ecological cultivation of buckwheat (fagkao opyrum esculentum moench.) as the main and side crop in the 2022/2023 growing season.
U ovom radu praćen je vegetativni razvoj biljaka i prinos ekološke heljde kao glavnog i postrnog usjeva u vegetacijskoj sezoni 2022./2023 na gospodarstvu tvrtke Atalia d.o.o. iz Petrijevaca. Sezona uzgoja bila je određena dugim sušnim periodom koji je u najvećoj mjeri negativno utjecao na rast i razvoj biljaka te stvaranje prinosa heljde. Osim suše proizvodnu godinu odlikovale su i visoke temperature koje su bile iznad višegodišnjeg prosjeka. Najviše štete od suše pretrpio je postrni usjev heljde, dok je glavni usjev imao povoljne uvjete u početnim fazama razvoja, no za njega su nastupili sušni uvjeti u kritičnim fazama razvoja, a to su cvatnja, oplodnja i nalijevanje zrna. Glavni usjev bio je izrazito zakorovljen te je jedan dio površine morao biti pretanjuran, dok se postrni usjev heljde bolje nosio s korovima. Iako su ostvareni izuzetno niski prinosi postoji potencijal proizvodnje ekološke heljde u Slavoniji u godinama sa povoljnim vremenskim uvjetima.In this paper the vegetative development of plants and the yield of organic buckwheat was monitored as the main and secondary crop in the 2022/2023 growing season on the farm of Atalia d.o.o. from Petrijevci. The growing season was determined by a long dry period, which had the greatest negative impact on the growth and development of plants as well as the yield. In addition to the drought, the production year was also characterized by high temperatures that were above the average. The secondary buckwheat crop suffered the most damage from the drought, while the main crop had favorable conditions in the initial stages of development, but dry conditions occurred in critical stages of development, namely flowering, fertilization and grain filling. The main crop was extremely weedy and part of the area had to be tilled, while the secondary crop coped better with weeds. Although extremely low yields were achieved, there is potential for organic buckwheat production in Slavonia in years with favorable weather conditions
Analysis of barley ( Hordeum vulgare L.) production at the "Beta" agricultural trade
Cilj rada je prikazati proizvodne resurse i uvjete, te provedenu agrotehniku i ostvarene rezultate u proizvodnji ječma na poljoprivrednom obrtu „Beta“. Istraživanje je provedeno na proizvodnim površinama istraživanoga subjekta. U godini istraživanja ječam je uzgajan na 25 ha što je činilo 25% od proizvodnih površina. Većina agrotehničkih mjera je obavljena u optimalnim rokovima. Sorta korištena u istraživanju bila je „Planet“. Pretkultura ječmu u ovom istraživanju bila je soja. Sjetva ječma je kasnila zbog suhe i tople jeseni, no prikladna obrada tla i gnojidba omogućile su pravilan razvoj ječma. Kemijska zaštita od korova, bolesti i štetnika obavljena je pravovremeno, te nije bilo pojave bilo kakve štete. Problem su predstavljali glodavci koji su tretirani nekoliko puta. Suviše blaga zima i sve manji broj njihovih prirodnih neprijatelja, uzrok su njihovu napadu. Prije početka proizvodnje obavljena je analza tla i prema tome određene količine gnojiva dodane su u osnovnoj gnojidbi i u prihrani. Žetva je obavljena u vrijeme kada je vlažnost zrna bila 12 %. Ostvareni prinos zrna bio je 7 t/ha, što je nešto manje u odnosu na prethodne godine proizvodnje na istraživanom obrtu (8 do 8,5 t/ha), ali s obzirom na vremenske uvijete prinos je bio zadovoljavajuć, i značajno veći od nacionalnog prosjeka.The aim of the work is to present the production resources and conditions, as well as implemented agricultural techniques and achieved results in the production of barley at the "Beta" agricultural craft. The research was conducted on the production areas of the researched entity. In the year of research barley was cultivated on 25 ha what was 25% of the total crop area. Most of the agrotechnical measures were carried out in optimal terms. The variety used in the research was "Planet". The pre-culture to barley in this study was soybean. The sowing of barley was delayed due to the dry and warm autumn, but appropriate tillage and fertilization enabled the proper development of the barley. Chemical protection against weeds, diseases and pests was carried out in a timely manner, and no damage occurred. The problem were rodents, which were treated several times. Too mild winter and the decreasing number of their natural enemies are the cause of their attack. Before the start of production, a soil analysis was performed and, accordingly, certain amounts of fertilizer were added in the basic fertilization and in the top dressing. Harvesting was done at a time when grain moisture was 12%. The realized yield was 7 t/ha, which is somewhat less compared to the previous years of production at the researched craft (8 to 8.5 t/ha), but considering the weather conditions, the yield was satisfactory, and significantly higher than national average
Allelopathic effect of elderberry (Sambucus nigra L.) on lettuce
Crna bazga (Sambucus nigra L.) široko je rasprostranjena ljekovita biljka s bogatim sadržajem biološki aktivnih spojeva. U ovom istraživanju procjenjen je alelopatski potencijal različitih koncentracija vodenih ekstrakata od suhe nadzemne mase crne bazge (S. nigra) na klijavost sjemena i rast klijanaca salate (Lactuca sativa L.). Niže koncentracije nisu imale značajan utjecaj, dok su više koncentracije pokazale potpunu inhibiciju klijavosti. Duljina korijena i izdanka klijanaca značajno su smanjene, posebice pri višim koncentracijama, od 42,8 % do 100 %. Pozitivno djelovanje na svježu masu zabilježeno je s najnižom koncentracijom vodenog ekstrakta. Vrijednost indeksa vigora klijanaca (SVI) snižena je u svim tretmanima. S obzirom na značajni inhibitorni potencijal, crna bazga (S. nigra) ističe se kao zanimljiva vrsta za daljnje istraživanje.Elderberry (Sambucus nigra L.) is a widely distributed medicinal plant with a rich content of bioactive compounds. This study assessed the allelopathic potential of different concentrations of water extracts from the dry above-ground biomass of elderberry (S. nigra) on seed germination and seedling growth of lettuce (Lactuca sativa L.). Lower concentrations had no significant effect, while higher concentrations completely inhibited seed germination. Root and shoot length of seedlings were significantly reduced, especially at higher concentrations, ranging from 42.8% to 100%. Positive effects on fresh biomass were recorded with the lowest concentration of the water extract. Seedling vigor index (SVI) values were reduced in all treatments. Given its significant inhibitory potential, elderberry (S. nigra) stands out as an interesting species for further research
Assessment of the degree of utilization of the working capacity of an agricultural machine
U radu je opisana važnost procjene i izračuna iskorištenja radnog kapaciteta poljoprivrednih strojeva u vlasništvu obrta Vučković PPTU. Pregledom literature, terenskim istraživanjem gospodarstva te analizom sekundarnih podataka iz evidencije poljoprivrednog gospodarstava izračunat je stupanj iskorištenja radnog kapaciteta odabranih strojeva. Ovakvi i slični izračuni izvrsne su smjernice pomoću kojih je moguće dobiti uvid u ekonomsku opravdanost kupovine, prodaje i/li najma određenih poljoprivrednih strojeva. Istraživanje koje je provedeno u ovom radu obavljeno je na poljoprivrednim strojevima obrta Vučković PPTU iz Donjih Andrijevaca, koje pomoću ovakvih i sličnih izračuna može u budućnosti donositi nešto drugačije poslovne odluke uzevši u obzir rezultate istraživanja. Predmeti istraživanja u ovom radu bili su traktor i dvije sijačice. Obzirom na prosječnu starost poljoprivredne mehanizacije u Hrvatskoj, nizak stupanj iskorištenja radnog kapaciteta i sve veće nabavne cijene, kao rješenje svih tih problema nameće se udruživanje poljoprivrednih proizvođača koji bi ovakvim načinom poslovanja otklonili barem dio navedenih izazova.The paper describes the assessment of the importance and calculation of the use of the working capacity of agricultural machinery owned by the Vučković PPTU trade. The degree of utilization of the working capacity of selected machines was calculated by reviewing the literature, field research on the farm and analyzing secondary data from the records of the agricultural farm. Such and similar calculations are excellent guidelines with which it is possible to gain insight into the economic justification for the purchase, sale and/or lease of certain agricultural machinery. The research conducted in this paper was carried out on agricultural machinery owned by the Vučković PPTU trade from Donji Andrijevci, which, using such and similar calculations, can make slightly different business decisions in the future, taking into account the results of the research. The subjects of the research in this paper were a tractor, seed drill and a planter. Given the average age of agricultural machinery in Croatia, the low degree of utilization of working capacity and the increasing purchase prices, the solution to all these problems is the association of agricultural producers who would eliminate at least part of the above challenges with this way of doing business
Croatian consumers' preference for craft beer
Cilj rada je utvrđivanje preferencija hrvatskih potrošača prema craft pivu, ponašanje potrošača pri kupnji i potrošnji craft piva, upoznatost potrošača sa craft pivima te važnost pojedinih obilježja prilikom odabira i konzumacije craft piva. Craft pivarstvo je u Hrvatskoj prisutno od 2013. godine, no još uvijek nema poseban zakonski okvir. Udio craft piva iznosi oko 2 % u odnosu na ukupnu proizvodnju. Potrošači craft piva preferiraju domaće pivo u odnosu na strano. Okus i pakiranje smatraju najvažnijim obilježjima prilikom odabira craft piva, a spremni su platiti višu cijenu za craft pivo u odnosu na industrijsko. Smatraju da je prisutan nedostatak informacija, ali dodatne informacije ne jamče veću konzumaciju. Unatoč izazovima, hrvatsko tržište craft piva ima potencijala za daljnji razvoj kroz inovacije, prilagodbu marketinških strategija potrošačima te povećanu dostupnost.The aim of this thesis is to determine the preferences of Croatian consumers for craft beer, their behaviour when buying and consuming craft beer, their awareness of craft beer and the importance of certain characteristics in the selection and consumption of craft beer. Craft beer has existed in Croatia since 2013, but there is still no specific legal framework for it. Craft beer accounts for about 2% of total beer production. Craft beer consumers favour domestic products over foreign ones. They consider flavour and packaging to be the most important characteristics when choosing craft beer and are willing to pay a higher price for craft beer than for industrial beer. Although they perceive a lack of information, additional information does not guarantee increased consumption. Despite the challenges, the Croatian craft beer market has potential for further development through innovation, adaptation of marketing strategies to consumer needs and greater availability
Machines and equipment for wine processing and bottling at Krauthaker d.o.o.
Ovaj završni rad bavi se analizom strojeva i opreme za doradu vina s posebnim naglaskom na punjenje vina u boce. Fokus rada je na GAI Monobloku 2405 koji se koristi u vinariji Krauthaker d.o.o., jednoj od vodećih hrvatskih vinarija. Rad obuhvaća teorijsku podlogu dorade vina, tehničke karakteristike monobloka te praktičnu primjenu i prednosti koje ova oprema donosi u modernoj proizvodnji vina. Također su obrađene funkcionalne jedinice stroja, sigurnosni aspekti te održavanje, a poseban naglasak stavljen je na učinkovitost, higijenu i očuvanje kvalitete vina.This final paper analyzes machinery and equipment used in wine finishing, with special emphasis on wine bottling. The focus is on the GAI Monoblock 2405 used in the Krauthaker winery, one of Croatia’s leading wineries. The paper covers the theoretical background of wine post-processing, technical specifications of the monoblock, as well as its practical application and advantages in modern wine production. The functional units of the machine, safety aspects, and maintenance are also presented, with particular emphasis on efficiency, hygiene, and wine quality preservation
