    THE IMPACT OF PRICING AND SERVICE QUALITY ON THE IMAGE OF LP3I MAKASSAR POLYTECHNIC FROM STUDENTS' PERSPECTIVE

    This study aims to explore the relationship between pricing, service quality, and institutional image among students at Makassar Polytechnic LP3I. Utilizing a quantitative approach with Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on Partial Least Squares (PLS), this research analyzed data from 91 randomly selected students. The results indicate that both pricing and service quality have a significant impact on the institutional image. Clear and rational pricing strategies, as well as high-quality services, positively contribute to the institutional image, enhancing students' perception of the institution's reputation. This study emphasizes the importance of price transparency and quality service in shaping a positive institutional image and attracting prospective students. Furthermore, the study suggests the need for future research to explore the long-term effects of these factors on student satisfaction and loyalty. This research provides practical insights for policymakers and educational administrators to improve the reputation of institutions in the higher education sector in Indonesia, highlighting the crucial role of pricing and service quality in determining institutional image

    DEVELOPING DIGITAL BANKING PLATFORM STRATEGIES FOR FUTURE CHALLENGES USING SCENARIO PLANNING

    The study explores strategies for digital banking platforms in Indonesia, emphasizing scenario planning to address future challenges. Indonesia’s digital banking sector, propelled by technological growth and changing consumer preferences, faces critical challenges such as regulatory fluctuations, intense competition, cybersecurity risks, and low financial literacy. Using Allo Bank as a case study, this research employs PESTLE and SWOT analyses, along with scenario planning, to evaluate strategic responses to key uncertainties in regulation, consumer behavior, and technology. The findings reveal that scenario-based planning enhances adaptability in digital banking, enabling Allo Bank to proactively navigate market complexities and leverage opportunities. Key recommendations include investment in regulatory compliance, technology for secure digital operations, and continuous innovation to maintain competitiveness in a volatile regulatory environment. This study underscores the importance of adaptive strategies for sustained growth in Indonesia’s dynamic digital banking ecosystem

    OPERATIONAL RISK ANALYSIS IN ISLAMIC BANKING: A CASE STUDY IN INDONESIA

    This study analyzes operational risk in Islamic banking in Indonesia, focusing on identifying the types of operational risks faced and strategies to manage them. Operational risks cover a wide range of issues such as human error, system failure, and non-compliance with sharia regulations and principles. The study utilized a qualitative approach through in-depth interviews with risk and internal audit managers from several leading Islamic banks in Indonesia. The results show that the most significant operational risks in Islamic banking in Indonesia are human error risk, information technology failure, and sharia compliance risk. To address these risks, Islamic banks have implemented various strategies such as improving internal controls, training and developing human resources, and investing in information technology. In addition, compliance with sharia regulations and principles is also improved through monitoring regulatory changes and implementing strict sharia compliance policies. The study also found that adaptation to economic and social changes is an important factor in enhancing the resilience of Islamic banking. Islamic banks in Indonesia develop the capacity to respond to changes quickly through monitoring economic and social trends and developing quick and effective responses. In conclusion, with the implementation of comprehensive and integrated strategies, Islamic banking in Indonesia can significantly reduce operational risk and increase its resilience to economic and social changes, thereby providing better services to customers and ensuring sustainable growth

    The value relevance of esg rating: do investors care?

    This paper aims to investigate the value relevance of ESG Rating.. Using LQ45 IDX industry index, 27 firms for 2020 until 2022 period were collected as final sample. Ordinary least square regression analysis based on Ohlson price model was conducted. The result showed that ESG ratings does not have a value relevance, which means that investors particularly in Indonesian stock market still consider financial information such as profitability to make investment decision. Managerial implication such as allocating ESG resources can be useful to investor as they will consider ESG information on making investment decision.  This paper aims to investigate the value relevance of ESG Rating..     This research aims to examine company size, profitability, and business risk on the capital structure of property and real estate companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2020-2022. This type of research is quantitative research. The population in this study are all property and real estate companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2020-2022. The sample in this research was obtained using a purposive sampling method. The data analysis technique used in this research is the multiple regression analysis method using the Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS) program. The results of this study indicate that company size has a positive and insignificant effect on capital structure.     Financial Statement Fraud Analysis on State-Owned Entreprises in Hexagon Fraud Perspective

    This research examines fraudulent financial statements in state-owned entreprises listed on the IDX for the 2020-2022 periods. This research adopts the hexagon theory influence fraudulent financial statements in an institution. This research shows that two of the six elements, namely capability and rationalization, have a significant effect on fraudulent financial statements. The impact is positive, confirming the proposition of the hexagon theory.. The findings in this research show that there are three variables that can detect fraud in financial statements, namely CEO duality, Change in Auditor and CEO Picture. It means that dual CEO ownership and the company's desire to change its auditor indicate fraudulent financial statements, as well as the large number of CEO photos appearing in financial reports shows a high level of arrogance and superiority within the company.     This research aims to determine the influence of raw material, labor and distribution variables on the income of Amplang Bintang Crackers MSMEs located in Sumenep Regency. This research applies quantitative methods and uses secondary data with multiple regression analysis. Data was collected through financial records of the Amplang Bintang Sumenep Crackers business for the 2021-2023 period, supported by interview techniques. The sample from the study consisted of 36 people obtained from monthly data for 3 years. The research findings show that there is a significant influence of raw materials on income, while labor also has a significant influence on income, distribution also has a significant influence on income, and simultaneously the variables raw materials, labor and distribution have a positive influence and significant impact on the income of Amplang Bintang Crackers Sumenep MSMEs.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari variabel bahan baku, tenaga kerja, dan distribusi terhadap pendapatan UMKM Kerupuk Amplang Bintang yang terletak di Kabupaten Sumenep. Penelitian ini menerapkan metode kuantitatif dan menggunakan data sekunder dengan analisis regresi berganda. Data dikumpulkan melalui catatan keuangan usaha Kerupuk Amplang Bintang Sumenep periode 2021-2023 dengan didukung teknik wawancara. Sampel dari penelitian terdiri 36 yang diperoleh dari data bulanan selama 3 tahun. Hasil temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh secara signifikan bahan baku terhadap pendapatan, sedangkan tenaga kerja juga memiliki pengaruh secara signifikan terhadap pendapatan, distribusi juga memiliki pengaruh secara signifikan terhadap pendapatan, serta secara simultan variabel bahan baku, tenaga kerja, dan distribusi mempunyai pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap pendapatan UMKM Kerupuk Amplang Bintang Sumenep

    THE INFLUENCE OF SOCIODEMOGRAPHY OF THE POPULATION OF SUMENEP DISTRICT ON THE INTENSITY OF TOURIST VISITS

    This research aims to identify the sociodemographic characteristics of the Sumenep district population that influence the intensity of traveling to tourist attractions. In this research, the analysis method used is quantitative, data obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics of the National Socio-Economic Survey of Sumenep District in 2021. The independent variables in this research are socio-demographic characteristics which include age, gender, married , education and occupation, while the dependent variable is the intensity of resident travel to tourist destinations. The analysis technique used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that the age variable has an insignificant effect, while other variables consisting of gender, marriage, education, and occupation have a significant effect on the intensity of tourist visits. The contribution of this research lies in the analysis focused on the sociodemographic characteristics of the Sumenep district population on the intensity of tourist visits using the National Socio-Economic Survey data

    The Impact of Commodities and Digital Assets on Leading Stock Markets: A Study of Cryptocurrency, Gold, and Oil

    This research examines the influence of- Cryptocurrencies, Gold Prices, and World Oil Prices on the world's best Composite Stock Index during the 2014-2023 period Purposive sampling approaches were used in conjunction with non-probability strategies to acquire data. Data on cryptocurrencies, gold prices, global oil prices over a ten-year period, and the world's best Composite Stock Index—that is, data on the US, Japan, Germany, England, South Korea, France, Hong Kong, Europe, and Indonesia— are the forms of research data that are available. Panel data regression analysis with the Fixed Effect Model (FEM) was used to evaluate the hypotheses. The study's findings indicate that cryptocurrencies have a favorable impact on the Composite Stock Index, and that a gain in cryptocurrencies indicates an individual's capacity for investing. Rising gold prices are a sign of more people investing in the stock market since gold prices have a favorable impact on the Composite Stock Index. Meanwhile, world oil prices have-a negative effect on the   Composite Stock Index because the higher the world-oil-price, the more indirect the income of investors will decrease. Cryptocurrencies, gold prices and world oil simultaneously influence the Composite Stock Index

    The aim of this research is to determine the effect of using fintech payments on the financial management of students at the Indonesian Christian University of Toraja. Quantitative research is the method used. Indonesian Christian University Toraja, Faculty of Economics, Management Study Program class 2020-2023 has 1,737 students. 100 people who used the Slovin formula were used as research samples. Primary data and secondary data were used, and data was collected using a questionnaire using the cost method, which was then processed using SPSS software. Instrument testing, classical assumption testing, simple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing are the data analysis techniques used in this research. At a significance level of 5%, it shows that the fintech payment variable has a positive but not significant effect. As shown by the tcount value of 1.679 which is higher than the ttable value of 1.661 with a significance level of 0.96 which is greater than 0.05, the fintecj payment variable has a positive but not significant effect on student financial managemen
