    THE EFFECT OF COMPENSATION AND WORK DISCIPLINE ON EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE THROUGH WORK MOTIVATION AS AN INTERVENING VARIABLE

    This research aims to find out and analyze the effect of compensation and work discipline on employees' performance, with work motivation as the intervening variable at CV Concept Global Media. The independent variables were compensation and work discipline, while the dependent variable was employees' performance and work motivation as the intervening variable. The population was employees at CV Concept Global Media consisting of 45 people. Furthermore, the data collection technique used saturated sampling. The data analysis technique used Partial Least Square SmartPLS 3.0. The results concluded that compensation and work discipline had a positive and significant effect on employees' performance. Additionally, compensation had a positive and significant effect on work motivation. Work discipline has a positive and significant effect on employees' performance. In addition, work motivation may not mediate the effect of compensation on employees' performance. Likewise, work motivation may not mediate the effect of work discipline on employees' performance

    Airport management always poses challenges in its administration. In addition to requiring high-security standards, airport management must provide well-standardized services. This research was conducted to understand how a well-planned airport management development aligns with existing standards. In this study, the author tested the hypothesis regarding the importance of commanding/charismatic leadership in ensuring the implementation of an airport management system that meets service standards. The research was conducted at Andi Jemma Masamba Airport in Sulawesi, and the results showed a strong correlation between commanding/charismatic leadership and the improvement of quality at Andi Jemma Masamba Airport

    The purpose of this study is to clarify what problems are causing the decline in employee productivity and what can be done to improve employee productivity, as well as to clarify problems related to improving employee productivity and QSPM analysis of improvement strategies. Employee productivity of PT Bumida Medan. PT Bumida Medan is an insurance company that offers various types of insurance products. After observation and discussion with the management of PT Bumida Medan, it was found that among the various problems faced by the staff were many staff who were not disciplined regarding permission to participate. Many employees came late to the office to ask for permission. In addition, the insurance sales plan was not achieved. The insurance sales target also slumped due to higher costs and lower employee productivity. Based on these problems, it can be concluded that the main problem faced by PT Bumida Medan is low employee productivity. To overcome all these problems, the company needs to improve or increase the productivity of its employees. Therefore, this study uses the SWOT approach to determine strategies to improve employee productivity at PT Bumida Medan and among the many alternative strategies to improve employee productivity, the author uses the QSPM technique to evaluate the optimal strategy to be chosen. The results of this study are based on the results of the IFE matrix, indicating that the evaluation of optimal strategies must go through the WT strategy, namely a lack of career ladder, clarifying ranks, manual work methods, maintaining marketing graphics. In addition, the WT strategy in square V explains that companies can use market penetration strategies, as well as HR and product development through clear career ladder training, job promotions, work methods according to needs, modern marketing penetration to increase product sales. The suggestions in this study are expected that PT Bumida Medan can develop a performance improvement plan in order to perform better

    This study aims to determine the effect of gross regional domestic product and minimum wage on the open unemployment rate in East Java province. The data used in this study is panel data of 38 districts / cities from 2018-2022. The data source comes from the official website of Badan Pusat Statistik. The research method used in this research is quantitative method. The results showed that partially the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) has a significant and negative effect on the open unemployment rate. Meanwhile, the minimum wage has a significant and positive effect on the level of open unemployment.     The Effect of Internal Control System on the Effectiveness of Lending to PT Bank Perkreditan Rakyat Tanah Laut

    One of the efforts made by business actors to maintain stability and improve the existence of the business they run through credit applications to credit providers such as banks. Lending activities must be carried out by implementing a good internal control system to avoid bad loans and achieve effective lending. The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of the internal control system in terms of the five indicators, namely the control environment, risk assessment, control activities, information and communication, and monitoring the effectiveness of lending. The data analysis technique uses multiple linear regression tests. The results of the hypothesis test show that risk control and assessment activities have an influence on the effectiveness of lending. The population in this study was all employees at the director's office of PT Perkebunan Nusantara XIV, Makassar City, totaling 134 people. Sampling in this study used a purposive sampling technique so that the total sample used was 57 people. The data collection method in this research uses a questionnaire. A questionnaire is a data collection method that is carried out by providing statements to respondents using a questionnaire guide. The questionnaire was processed and analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis methods.     This study seeks to evaluate the impact of digital taxation and taxpayer knowledge on individual compliance with tax socialization as a variable. This study employs quantitative methodologies. The study population included individual taxpayers registered with KPP Pratama Lamongan, using a basic random selection approach with a sample size of 100. The variables examined in this research are Digital Tax, Taxpayer Awareness which is the independent variable, Individual Taxpayer Compliance as the dependent variable and Tax Socialization as the moderating variable. The study data was examined using Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) with the SPSS software. 26. The research results show that 1) Digital Tax does not have a positive and meaningful influence on individual taxpayer compliance, 2) Taxpayer knowledge positively and significantly influences individual taxpayer compliance, 3) Socialization of tax does not influence the impact of digital taxation on individual taxpayer compliance. individual, 4) Tax socialization moderates the impact of taxpayer knowledge on individual compliance

    Solid waste management (SWM) poses a significant environmental issue in Indonesia, with increasing waste generation and limited infrastructure leading to environmental contamination. The government's initiatives and waste management companies aim to address this issue by encouraging public participation. However, many community-based initiatives face challenges in sustainability and development. This study focuses on analyzing the business model of CV Bina Usaha Mandiri (BUM), a waste management company in Central Java, to provide a development plan for effective waste management services. This study was conducted using a qualitative approach to understand the challenges faced by the business owner, then explore how to improve their performance and provide ideas. The data was analyzed qualitatively by adopting an inductive approach with the purpose of developing conclusions from the collected data. External and internal environments were analyzed, then SWOT analysis was used to assess BUM's competitiveness in order to develop a business strategy. Based on the SWOT matrix, some strategies are selected to be proposed for BUM performance improvement concerning the collection volume and their business management. The study recommends the adoption of a focus differentiation strategy for BUM.     This research aimed to explore and explain the influence of online review and celebrity endorser on the customers’ loyalty, with purchase decision as the intervening variable. The research method used was explanatory with quantitative approach. The research location was at Samsung Experience Store Palembang, with consumers’ population the people who used samsung brand smartphone. Sample selection was carried out by using purposive sampling method, and 57 respondents were involved in this research. The wider the spread of this virus, the more it will have an impact on the economy in various countries as well as Indonesia. With the hampering of the export and import processes, the level of public consumption is getting lower until the implementation of layoffs in several companies. With the background of these conditions, researchers are interested in studying more deeply the company's financial distress. The financial distress itself can be influenced by several factors such as capital structure, ownership structure, company size, and sales growth. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of capital structure,  ownership structure, firm size, and sales growth on financial distress in family companies. The scope of this study is a family company listed on the IDX which is also an object in the study. This study used data on family companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2018 to 2020 with the criteria, namely companies with minimum family ownership of 25%.
