    The paper describes the best practice experience of the author to manage school to establish and develop a positive culture of school empowering school resources by implementing Class-Based Management of human resources in Sekolah Dasar Negeri 38 Payakumbuh. Positive cultures relate to the time, discipline, cleanliness, learning, and embarrassment culture, of class members. The positive culture was developed into school culture. The result is changes in attitudes and personalities of school residents, conductive school climate, learners centered, and the increase of creativity of learners.     The problem of this research is the teacher has not seen: involving students express opinions, discussing (oral activities), making activities writing, analyzing material, and remembering material (mental activity), and giving motivation (emotional activity), so student learning activities look low. The purpose of the study describes the increase in student learning activities on learning IPS using cooperative model type Make A Match on VB SDN 46 Kuranji Padang. This research is a classroom action research with a qualitative and quantitative approach. Consisting of two cycles, each cycle consists of planning, execution, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were teachers and students of VB SDN 46 Kuranji Padang. Data collection techniques are observation, test, and documentation. While the research instrument is an observation sheet, test sheet, and photos and video. The results showed that the activity of the students on the Cycle of Oral Activity I 81.03% with very good category (SB), cycle II 90,62% (SB). Activity Writing cycle I 71.96% with good category (B), cycle II 90,62% (SB). Cycle of Mental Activities I 66.77% with enough category (C), cycle II 88,27% (SB). Emotion activity of cycle I 76.18% (B), cycle II 91,4% (SB). Thus it can be concluded that the learning activities of students on IPS learning by using model Cooperative type Make A Match in the VB SDN 46 Kuranji Padang increased in very good category (SB)

    The background of the research was the low learning outcomes of students on natural science course in fourth grade of SD Negeri 07 VII Koto Sungai Sariak. This was caused by uninteresting and irrelevant media, methods or model applied by teachers to deliver the materials. This study aimed to describe the influence of the use of direct instruction model to the material of applying the light characteristics and its association with sense of sight. 56 students involved in this experiment with one experimental class and one control class. The sampling was collected using saturated sampling technique so it was chosen class IV.1 as experimental class and class IV.2 as control class. From the research, it was found that the implementation of direct instruction model gave positive impact to the students’ learning outcomes. In addition, this model also influenced the attitude dimensions which have been mentioned on observation sheet

    This research aims to know the effect of the use of cooperartive learning model of type Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) to the result of learning PKN student class IV SD Pembangunan Laboratorium UNP. This Type of research is quasi eksperment. The Population in this study is class IV SD Pembangunan Laboratorium UNP with samples of class IV A dan IV B consisting of 20 and 18 students. Based on the result of t test calculation obtained t value = 2,325 and price t table = 2,042. This proves that the use of cooperative learning model type of TAI effect on the learning outcomes PKN class IV SD Pembangunan Laboratorium UNP
