    Utilization of biogas sludge waste from cow dung into briquettes is an alternative to reduce the use of fossil fuels. In the manufacture of briquettes made from biogas sludge, molasses is used as an adhesive which is a by-product of a sugar factory. In this study, variable compression briquettes with variations of 10, 15, 20, and 25 mm were used and further testing was carried out on the moisture content, ash content, and calorific value of the briquettes. The effect of briquette compression on the water content of the best briquettes according to the SNI standard (less than 8%) is at 10 mm compression variation with a moisture content value of 6.03%. Meanwhile, the effect of pressing briquettes on the ash content and calorific value is still above the SNI standard and requires further study

    Hybrid energy having continuous development considering the energy needs continue to increase. As the development continues, the use of alternative energy becomes a solution in overcoming energy needs. This research will be designig and manufacturing solar energy as a support for electrical energy used for a hybrid system based on solar and hydro energy. From the results of the design of the solar cell module holder frame, it produces specifications for a height of 100 cm, a width of 67 cm and a length of 90 cm, from the calculation, the pump electric energy consumption of a 125 watt32 liters / minute to fill a 1000 liter water tank is 66.7 watts, the solar cell power calculation is 33.6 watts per unit, so that the number of solar cell modules needed is 2, the design of the solar cell module made is 3 units, 1 unit is used as electrical energy saving. The test results based on solar radiation, the average solar radiation intensity is 4916 (watt/m2) with a power of 19.76 watts

    The agriculture and livestock sector is the biggest contributor to environmental damage. Where from the total national sources of greenhouse gases, the agricultural sector accounted for 13.6%. From this data, there needs to be an appropriate design to deal with this problem. One way is to apply the concept of industrial ecology as the best solution to deal with this problem. So that in this study quantitative calculations were carried out to determine the potential application of the concept of industrial ecology in the agriculture and animal husbandry sector in the Tojang Maju 3 Farmer Group located in Masbagik District, East Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara Province. The study was conducted with a quantitative calculation of waste generated by the livestock sector as well as farmer group questions, which then carried out the design process of the industrial ecological model. The results obtained the use of liquid organic fertilizer (POC) in the agricultural sector as much as 280.5 for rice, 37.4 for chilli farming, and 37.4 liters for cabbage farming and the rest as sources of economics. Whereas straw produced by rice farming (57,000 kg) is used as silage in the livestock sector with a demand of 4,957.2 kg. Rice straw is also used in the chilli agriculture sector as mulch with a requirement of 1,140 kg and the rest (50,903 kg) is used as raw material for the production of synthetic gas for energy sources of farmer groups. While the rest of the chilli and cabbage agricultural products are used as raw material for biogas with a mass of around 70,300 kg which is directly utilized by the groups. For cow as much as 5,355 kg is fed to the biogas digester as biogas for the consumption of farmer groups, with a gas potential of 535.5 m3

    Microplastics pollution is one of the global problems. Plastic garbage entry in the ocean either intentionally or unintentionally and willbe degraded into microplastics. Microplastics size is small and float in water coloumn so make it easy to ingested by marine organisms,one of which is zooplankton. Zooplankton ingested microplastics and may impact upon zooplankton also the ecosystem. Microplastics can influence the fucundity, the feeding capacity, impact on digestion system, faecal pellet properties,and also provide accute and chronic effects on zooplankton. Impact on marine ecosystems allow microplastics transfers through food chain (trophic transfer) because of zooplankton have an important role in ecosystems. This review summarized the current knowledge about distribution and degradation of microplastics, ingestion of microplastics by zooplankton, the impact on zooplankton and also to the marine ecosystems. This study is important to provide basic information to researchers in marine resources management

    The liquid waste processing reactor is a toll used to reduce impurities  in waste, including heavy metals. the laboratory is the center of research and produce various wastes, both physical, chemical and biological. Cocoa shells is an agricultural waste  and is   one the organic waste whose volume is abundant, which the disturbs the environment, which causes unpleasant odors and a medium for insects. Cocoa shells have the potential to be processed into charcoal because the contain high cellulose, hemicellulose and lignin. The use of cocoa shells charcoal as an adsorbent for  Cu2+ contained in laboratory waste is a solution to reduce environmental pollution by utilizing agriculutural waste to treat laboratory waste.The purpose this research was to determine of the optimum conditions for the waste treatment reactor including the diameter of the adsorbent particles, the height of the adsorbent in the reactor and the flow rate of waste passing through the reactor column. Waste treatment system  with a continuous system and waste analysis  before and after passing through  the reactor using AAS.Preparation of cocoa shell charcoal by heating at a temperature of 140 oC for about 4 hours.The optimum conditions for the reactor occurredat a  particle diameter of 120 mesh, an adsorbent  height of 25 cm and a rate of 68,39 mL/second  in the reactor column with a diameter of 2 inches and height of 50 cm.The effectiveness of the reactor using cocoa shell charcoal at the optimum conditions

    In recent years, more and more oily wastewater has been producing from several industrial areas such as the petrochemical plant, the cosmetic plant, the dye plant, even the food plant which has delivered in solemn environmental problems. One of the splittings to surmount this problem is the supply of advanced technology adsorption, such as membrane technology. The separation process with technology was first present in the 21st centenary. The membrane separation process has got a new technology for oily wastewater treatment due to its upper oil excision efficiency and comparatively easy operation. Some of the fittest methods based on the membrane separation process are dehydration of the oil emulsion by evaporation or flocculation followed by microfiltration or by reverse osmosis, membrane distillation, and ultrafiltration. However, the major problem that frequently occurs in the separation process with membrane technology is membrane blockage (membrane fouling). This journal is a review that depicts the latest expansion in membrane technology such as the membrane technology process and the membrane emulsification process.     3D printer is a rapid prototyping technology that has developed rapidly in this decade. 3D printers use STL files derived from 3D CAD drawings as input data for the processing. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the resolution of the STL file used on the quality of the geometry and dimensions of the product produced. This research was conducted by using 2 types of STL file resolution created with Autodesk Inventor. The results of this study are that there is an influence of the resolution of the STL file used on the quality of the geometry and dimensions of the product being made. the quality of the product geometry has different geometric shapes in the radius. Whereas in the aspect of the product dimension obtained a product dimension accuracy of 0.02 sampai 0.8 mm.Â

    Plastic waste is one of the environmental problems in Indonesia. Plastic waste is a type of waste that is difficult to decompose, so it needs special handling for processing the problem. One alternative offered is by making a plastic chopper machine. One of the manufacturing of a machine is to design and analyze the components used. The blade is one of the important components of a plastic chopper. Model simulation of the blade itself needs to be done to analyze the performance of the blade during the performance of the machine. Simulation modeling is done using CAE software.. The form of meshing in the blade model is using tetrahedral and the meshing ratio is close to 1. The results obtained from the blade modeling process are the maximum Von mises stress on the loading of 300N, 500N, and 700N respectively at 6.752 x 10-3 MPa, 2.845 x 10- 3 MPa and 1,575 x 10-3MPa. While the amount of displacement in the variation of loading 300N, 500N, and 700N respectively has a value of 6.752 x 10-2 mm, 1.125 x 10-1 mm and 1.575 x 10-1 mm. The safety factor in this simulation is produced which has a value of 15, which means it is safe for all loading variations because it has a value of more than 1

    Chemical laboratory liquid waste Environmental Pollution Control Techniques Cilacap State Polytechnic is liquid waste originating from practical or research activities of lecturers / students. Most of the waste contains organic and inorganic substances that are harmful to the environment. In the initial analysis the results of the wastewater content were in the form of lead less than 0.251 mg / L, Hardness 213.33 mg / L, TDS 4690 ppm, and pH 1.6. One parameter that needs to be addressed is TDS because dissolved solids can affect the O2 levels contained in the waters. In this research, a prototype of a waste processing tool was used to process the waste. In this research the method used is the process of coagulation, electrocoagulation and sedimentation in batch with a variation of residence time which affects the product. In addition, the filtration and adsorption process uses a continuous system, so that overall the tool uses a semi-batch system. In this study the chemicals used for processing were CaCO3 and citric acid. Then the adsorbent used is zeolite and activated charcoal as absorbent of dissolved solids. This waste treatment tool is considered quite effective in reducing TDS with a final result of 2950 ppm

    Cost production efficiency through modified tunnel driyer by using the economizer so that the cost of fuel component eliminated. This study aimed to determine the performance of modified tunnel driyer associated with the quality of the product produced related to achived drying rate . From 3 (three) experiments conducted with variations in the hot air flow velocity of 0.5 m / sec, 0.7 m / sec, and 0.9 m / sec, it was found that only the first experiment occurred condensation and the resulting drying product was declared NG . From the results of the hypothesis independent sample t-test concluded the level of dryness of the results of the 3rd experimental product is better than the results of the 2nd experimental product. Thus, setting a hot air flow rate of 9 m / sec produces the most optimal modified dryer performance
