    Upaya Peningkatan Kapasitas Pengelolaan Jurnal Ilmiah Online Perguruan Tinggi di Wilayah Kabupaten Cilacap

    Limitations in knowledge in managing an online scientific journal following the standards and skill level possessed by journal managers, mainly operating the Open Journal System (OJS) application, are obstacles faced by several universities in the Cilacap Regency area. The solution proposed in this article is a training activity in the form of a workshop held for managers of higher education journals in the Cilacap area to increase knowledge and skills in managing journals using OJS. The stages of the activity are carried out through several stages, namely the planning stage, the implementation stage, the activity evaluation, and last stage is the mentoring stage. The results of the training provided a fairly good impact and affected the level of knowledge of the participants in managing OJS-based journals. The results of the assistance from the activities show an increase in interest for universities that do not yet have journals to want to make them, in addition to a rise in the status of journals that have been published to become accredited journals

    Penerapan Internet of Things (IoT) dapat membuat semuanya terhubung ke internet tetapi sistem IoT dapat menjadi sasaran yang sangat mudah untuk disusupi penyerang dengan menggunakan malware, lebih dari 1,6 miliar atau tepatnya 1.637.973.022 anomali traffic atau serangan siber (cyberattack) yang terjadi diseluruh wilayah Indonesia sepanjang tahun 2021, teknik machine learning dapat dimanfaatkan untuk proses pengklasifikasian anomali traffic dengan menggunakan algoritma k-nearest neighbour (KNN) sehingga dapat membedakan data traffic yang bersifat benign atau malicious. Data anomali traffic yang digunakan adalah dataset aposemat IoT-23, didalam dataset tersebut terdapat 23 dataset, lalu terbagi kedalam 20 dataset scenario malicious dan 3 dataset scenario benign. Namun dataset yang digunakan adalah 20 dataset scenario malicious. 20 dataset tersebut selanjutnya dilakukan data preprocessing supaya dapat digunakan untuk proses training model atau pengklasifikasian. Nilai akurasi yang didapatkan setelah proses training model sebesar 0.94 atau 94%, model yang sudah dilakukan training model dapat memprediksi traffic data baru kedalam benign atau malicious, data baru yang sudah disiapkan adalah sebanyak 25 data baru. Prediksi 25 data baru tersebut menghasilkan 20 data diprediksi benar atau sesuai dan 5 data diprediksi salah atau tidak sesuai, 5 data tersebut terbagi menjadi 3 data yang harusnya diprediksi benign dan 2 data yang harusnya diprediksi malicious

    A study of industry 4.0 technologies in the John Deere and Company and their impact on company operations is presented in this paper. Deere and Company’s implementation of Industry 4.0 to its factories and its factors was the focus of the research. The literature review with the systematic approach as well as a comprehensive review of current John Deere and Company’s developments is used in the current study. Also, it relied on freely available information on the company website. Public and investor relations have also been used as credible sources of information. An analysis found that adopting industry 4.0 technologies to agriculture manufacturing results in higher quality products, increased productivity, safety, and wider acceptance among stakeholders. This study assumes full implementation of these technologies in all agriculture manufacturing companies, and it also emphasizes up-to-date technologies.     One of the main objectives of studying English is to increase ability in English conversation. However, English conversation skills are still considered as one of the skills that are difficult for students to do. Many students face some difficulties when they want to communicate in English, even though they have studied English for years. Some of the difficulties students often face and complain about are the first, they are not able to communicate in English, because they do not master English vocabulary. Secondly, they are afraid and lacking confidence in the ability to speak English vocabulary, and thirdly, there is no attractive media and learning methods to involve students communicating in English. Therefore, effective and efficient solutions are needed to increase students\u27 interest in understanding English subjects by providing interesting teaching media and effective learning methods. One of the interesting teaching media is the use of ICT (Information and Communication Technology)  into it, one of which is video animation. Effective and efficient media and methods can help students engage in learning English and at the same time be motivated to communicate in English. The target of the implementation of this community service activity is Class 7 students of Bazma Brilliant Middle School.     Analisis Sentimen Kinerja KPU Pemilu 2019 Menggunakan Algoritma K-Means Dengan Algoritma Confix Stripping Stemmer

    The performance of the KPU in the 2019 elections was a lively conversation between the general public and the political elite. Many people or parties commented on the process of calculating the results of the 2019 elections through social media. KPU\u27s Facebook fan page is also busy being attacked by positive or negative comments. Sentiment analysis of public opinion can be investigated to find out how much percentage of a positive and negative sentiment of this policy through comments that have been sent to social-social media. Data analyzed were 200 data taken from Facebook KPU, divided into 150 training data and 50 test data. This study uses the K-Means algorithm with a value of k = 2 to determine the final sentiments of positive and negative, the Levenshtein Distance algorithm for word normalization and the Confix Stripping Stemmer algorithm in the stemming process. The results obtained from the public sentiment on the performance of the KPU are more negative than positive. The results of the accuracy obtained from the use of the K-Means algorithm are 84% with a lower accuracy value compared to the combination of the algorithm above, namely 86%.     The development of information and communication technology (ICT) has brought change for the people of Indonesia. With ICT, people can more easily access various information and support work. But the problem that arises is the uneven penetration of ICT throughout Indonesia, including in the Randudongkal sub-district. This results in a digital divide and also weak ICT literacy. This study aims to describe the level of ICT Literacy, specifically internet literacy in the village apparatus in the Randudongkal sub-district. Measurement of internet apparatus of village apparatus in Randudongkal sub-district by using three indicators, namely basic knowledge, skills and utilization. The method for measuring literacy levels uses the Personal Capability Maturity Model (P-CMM). The results of internet literacy measurement research with three measurement indicators namely the internet have been used by village officials, but have not mastered and understood internet usage and currently, the level of internet apparatus in village apparatus is at level 2 by using Personal Capability Maturity Model (P-CMM)

    Reverse Vending Machine is a machine where users will get a reward in the form of a deposit of money from collecting empty bottles. The Recognition and sorting of bottles currently done by several methods including the Recognition of materials using IR spectrometers, identification of bottles according to the barcode attached to the bottles, and using Image Processing technology to detect the shape of the bottles. In this study, the Recognition and sorting of empty bottles were carried out using three sensors. The Inductive Proximity sensor is used to detect metal or nonmetal bottles, the Loadcell sensor is used to calculate the weight of the bottle, and the LDR is used to detect the colour of the bottle based on the light intensity received by the LDR sensor. From tests conducted using the Euclidean Distance algorithm, it can be seen that Reverse Vending Machine can detect and sort the type of bottle waste based on 3 parameters namely weight, metal value, and colour of the bottle in real-time and can provide reward points to users according to bottle criteria

    Castor oil is an alternative fuel as a substitute for diesel fuel. The property that approaches diesel fuel makes jatropha oil help reduce fossil fuel dependence. Abundant raw materials and high cetane properties make castor oil widely used as fuel in diesel engines. This study aims to observe the consumption of fuel and soot emissions produced by diesel engines using a mixture of diesel fuel with castor oil content of 30%. Based on the results of experiments that have been carried out, fuel consumption and soot emissions have increased. The highest increase occurred in SJ30 fuel at 25% loading. Low heating value is a major cause of increased consumption and soot emissions
