The increase in the volume of vehicles resulted in a crisis of fossil fuels so there is a need for alternative fuels to replace gasoline. Butanol and Diethyl Ether (DEE) are alternative fuels that can be added to gasoline. This is because the Octane Number and high O2 levels optimize combustion in the cylinder and increase torque and power and save fuel. This study compares the addition of butanol and DEE to gasoline on torque, power, and Brake Specific Fuel Consumption (BSFC). The study used a 160cc gasoline engine with a carburetor with engine speeds of 1000, 2000, and 3000 rpm. Variation of fuel mixture 5%, 10%, and 15% on gasoline. The results showed that the DEE15 mixture increased the highest torque by 28% at 3000 rpm compared to other fuel mixtures. Engine power also increases the highest by 28% when using a mixture of DEE15 compared to other fuels. Meanwhile, BSFC experienced the highest decrease of 19% when using the DEE15 mixture compared to other mixtures

Efektivitas Ukuran Blok Campuran Tanah dan Hydraulic Loading Rate Pada Multi Soil Layering Guna Menurunkan Parameter Fosfat dan Surfaktan Anionik di Usaha Binatu
The laundry business is one of the business that produces phosphate and anionic surfactant parameters that cause eutrophication and environmental pollution. Parameters of phosphate and anionic surfactants can be reduced using multi soil layering with two stages. This study aims to analyze the effect of soil mixed block size and hydraulic loading rate on reducing pollutant concentration. The materials used in this study are andosol soil, rice husk charcoal and iron powder. The permeable layer uses gravel and pearlite media. The reactor is made of acrylic with a length of 50 cm, a width of 15 cm and a height of 50 cm. Multi soil layering systems successfully reduce concentrations to 98,603% for phosphate parameters and 99.99% for anionic surfactant parameters. The decrease in phosphate parameters and anionic surfactants is caused by physical and chemical adsorption processes by soil components and rice husk charcoal. The decrease in the parameters of anionic surfactants is also helped by the process of biodegradation of microbes in the soil
Keterkaitan antara Kadar Silikon dan Aluminium dari Kandungan Debu Tanah Hasil Perlakuan Basa atau Asam dalam Kemampuannya Mengadsorpsi Biru Metilen
Soil dust is the most difficult object of research to find in applications, even though it is rich in silica, silicate, and aluminosilicate compounds, which are widely known as adsorbents. The physical and chemical characteristics of compounds in which the main framework is the oxides of silicon and aluminum in the material are usually related to their Si/Al mole ratio. This study aims to study the effect of changes in the levels of silicon, aluminum, and related elements in alkaline or acid-treated soil dust (DTBA) in adsorbing methylene blue (MB). The difference in the composition of the elements in DTBA is expressed in terms of the mole ratios of silicon to aluminum, (Si/Al)mole, the ratio of moles of silicon to the number of moles of aluminum and iron, (Si/(Al+Fe))mole, the ratio of moles of silicon to the number of moles of aluminum, iron, and calcium, (Si/(Al+Fe+Ca))mole, and the mole difference of silicon to aluminum, (Si-Al)mole. The quantities in moles were also tested using the levels of these elements: (Si/Al)weight, (Si/(Al+Fe))weight, (Si/(Al+Fe+Ca)weight, and (Si–Al)weight. Through linear and non-linear regression (2nd order polynomial), plotting of the concentration of adsorbed MB to (Si–Al)weight had the highest correlation coefficient (R2 = 0.9767), better than (Si/Al)mole (polynomial 2, R2 = 0.5177), (Si/(Al+Fe))mole (polynomial 2, R2 = 0.7940), and (Si/(Al+Fe+Ca))mole (linear, R2 = 0.7996) or the same based on percentage of weight, (Si/Al)weight (polynomial 2, R2 = 0.9105), (Si/(Al+Fe))weight (polynomial 2, R2 = 0.6649), and (Si/(Al+Fe+Ca))weight = (polynomial 2, R2 = 0.5601). From a number of optimizations, the adsorption of MB on DTBA was close to the Langmuir and Redlich-Peterson isotherm adsorption model, which describes that there was one layer of MB adsorbate on the surface of DTBA. With this result, soil dust resulting from alkaline or acid treatment can adsorb MB on its surface, which is determined most by the difference in the weight of silicon to aluminum
Peranan Parameter Quench dan Temper Pada Ketangguhan Carbon-Manganese Steel
The use of material that is specified as armor steel has a high resistant value. The quenching and tempering process is done to improve the toughness of the material. The process uses a temperature of 900oC on the quenching process with water medium and tempering temperatures of 125oC and 175oC holding time for 30 minutes. The tests include the impact test to determine the increase in the material and fractography to determine the ductility of the material. There is a decrease in the value of the impact that occurs after the quenching process. The impact value is increasing due to the tampering impact of 32 J during the quenching process to 50 J. The fractography shows brittle fractures with ridges as a feature of brittle fractures. Rapid cooling rate processes in the quenching process cause cracks in the quenching specimens.

Metode Economic Order Quantity dalam Sistem Bandar Barang Bekas (SiBandar)
Junk goods are no longer piles of worthless goods for businessmen who are keen to see the economic value by taking this opportunity by becoming a pelapak company to buy and sell junk goods purchased from collectors to be sold to buyers. The problems found with Pelapak include the manual recording of sales administration which has the potential to cause recording errors. Pelapak does not know for sure the stock of junk they own and those owned by collectors because the locations of the collectors are far apart. Orders of junk goods between pelapak and collectors are still via telephone so pelapak does not know which collectors are in the process of sending goods. Problems also occur on the part of collectors including unprofessional sales transactions. Based on these problems, a used goods stock management system is needed using the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method. The purpose of this study is to build a used goods stock management information system that can monitor the availability of used goods owned by collectors and pelapak. System development uses the prototype method and designs with concepts. The results of the research are that the system created can help find out the stock and the amount in each collector, recap sales reports, provide accurate information, facilitate business transactions and fulfill sales targets to buyers.
