    This research aims to; 1) Designing and making aluminium melting crucible casting with the capacity15 kg; 2) Conducting the test of chemical composition of the first and second melting result. Theresearch used field and library research. From the result of the design, it could be obtained that thedimension of melting casting has 547 mm diameter, 3 mm thick, 410 mm high. Whereas, molten cup has 178 mm diameter, 8 mm thick, and 230 mm high. The result of the first melting chemicalcomposition test and the second one do not work out a significant change. The material of the firstmelting result still contains 89,52% of aluminium (Al), while the main fusion is 7,71% of zinc (Zn)and 1,84% of silicon (Si), and in the second melting result still contains 89,55% of Alumunium (Al),while the main fusion is 7,51% of zinc (Zn) and 1,94% of silicon (Si)

    Monitoring System for Hazardous Gas in Landfill Site Based on Internet of Things

    The landfill is a place where waste reaches the last stage in its management since it began to arise in the source, collection, transportation, processing, and disposal. Muara Fajar landfill is one of the landfills in Pekanbaru City whose garbage increase exceeds the capacity of waste storage land so that it can produce 800 tons of garbage per day in dry weather and 1000 tons per day in rainy weather. The problem caused by the management of the Muara Fajar landfill is air pollution due to the process of decomposing organic matter anaerobically which has the potential to cause unpleasant odors and health problems. With this problem, a system was built to monitor and detect hazardous gases in landfill, namely H2S gas using MQ-136 sensors, CH4 gas by MQ-4 sensors, and CO2 and NH3 gases using MQ-135 sensors. This system is implemented with the IoT protocol, MQTT Broker to receive and send monitoring data to the Website with notifications from the telegram web application. Based on testing the value of ppm in CO2 Gas with a danger status of 1000-4000 ppm, H2S Gas is 10-400 ppm, NH3 is included in the status of be careful which is 0.03 ppm, and CH4 with normal status because the value of ppm levels is below 10000 pp

This study aimed to measure the capability level of the ASN application using the COBIT 5 framework. The audit results contain current findings and expectations for the future, then analyze the gaps and make recommendations for improvement. Audit results based on domains DSS01, DSS02, DSS03, DSS04, DSS05, and DSS06 achieve capability level 1 performance process. The ASN application manager has successfully implemented a process that has achieved its goals by finding evidence of work product output.     Decision Making for The Most Outstanding Students Award using TOPSIS: a Case Study at Institut Teknologi Sumatera

    The internal selection of Pemilihan Mahasiswa Berprestasi, or known as Pilmapres, is an annual competition held by Institut Teknologi Sumatera (ITERA) to award the most outstanding student of the year which will be further sent to compete in regional and national event of Pilmapres held by Balai Pengembangan Talenta Indonesia. This study aimed to implement TOPSIS as a decision-making tool to determine the winner of Pilmapres ITERA in 2023. The criteria used in this study were general achievements, English competencies, and creative ideas, with weight of 50, 20, and 30, respectively. The scores for the criteria for each of the students are obtained from nine members of the board of jury in the final stage of Pilmapres ITERA in 2023. The calculation result using TOPSIS concluded that the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd winners of the internal selection of Pilmapres ITERA in 2023 were Alpha, Beta, and Omega, with the final preference scores of 0.995, 0.799, and 0.795, respectively

    ANALISA KEKERASAN MATERIAL HASIL ANNEALING PADA PIPA LONG ELBOW MATERIAL STAINLESS STEEL ASTM 304 L MENGGUNAKAN HARDNESS TESTER

    Bending is a process of mixing materials which results in convexity while other parts become concave due to the influence of force or bending moment. During the bending process, it results in different pipe strains, which cause permanent strains. The annealing process (heat treatment) is a process for changing the metal structure by heating the specimen. The aim of this research is to analyze the material hardness of the ASTM 304 L stainless steel long elbow pipe after the annealing process is carried out, the test is carried out at various angles, namely (0°, 90°, 180°, and 270°) using the Hardness Tester. The method used in this research is an experimental method, a research procedure carried out to determine the effects of the annealing treatment given to the material. The research results from the 0° angle have a material hardness of 156 HB, from the 90° angle the material hardness is 140 HB, from the 1800 angle the material hardness is 164 HB, from the 2700 angle the material hardness is 159 HB, the conclusion is that the annealing process and the inner angle of the long elbow pipe has a significant influence on the hardness of stainless steel materials.     ABSTRACT Palm oil nurseries are the starting point that really determines the process and result of palm oil’s growth in the field. The fertilization process and using the right planting media can have a positive influence for the seedling growth process. This research aims to determine the effects of providing various types of LOF and planting media on the growth of palm oil’s seedling in pre-nursery step. This research was carried out at KP2 Institut Pertanian STIPER Yogyakarta which located in Wedomartani, Ngemplak, Sleman, Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta from March until June 2023. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) method. The first factor was the different types of LOF which consisted of babana peels, coconut water and fruit waste. The second factor was the planting media that consisted of soil, soil : compost, and soil : rice husk with each planting media having the same ratio of 1 :1. The data result of this research were analyzed using ANOVA at 5% of real level, if there was a significant difference with the result then used the DMRT test with the range was 5% too. The results of this research showed that the application of various LOF types and planting media had the same effect for the plam oil seedling growth in pre-nursery steps. There was no real interaction between the provision of different LOF types and planting media on the palm oil seedling growth in pre-nursery steps. The use soil:compost has a positive effect on the growth of seedlings compared to the others.     Keywords : palm oil, liquid organic fertilizer, planting media   ABSTRAK Pembibitan kelapa sawit merupakan titik awal yang sangat menentukan proses serta hasil pertumbuhan kelapa sawit dilapangan. Proses pemupukan dan penggunaan media tanam yang tepat dapat memberikan pengaruh yang positif terhadap proses pertumbuhan bibit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian macam POC dan media tanam terhadap pertumbuhan bibit kelapa sawit di pre nursery. Penelitian ini telah dilaksanakan di KP2 Institut Pertanian STIPER Yogyakarta yang terletak di Wedomartani, Kecamatan Ngemplak, Kabupaten Sleman, Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta pada bulan Maret 2023 – Juni 2023. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) faktor pertama adalah macam POC yang terdiri atas POC kulit pisang, POC air kelapa, dan POC limbah buah – buahan. Faktor kedua adalah media tanam yang terdiri atas tanah, tanah : kompos, tanah : sekam padi dengan tiap media tanam memiliki perbandingan 1 : 1. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis menggunakan sidik ragam (ANOVA) pada jenjang nyata 5%, jika terdapat perbedaan nyata dilakukan uji  DMRT dengan jenjang 5%. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian macam POC dan media tanam memberikan pengaruh yang sama baik terhadap pertumbuhan bibit kelapa sawit di pre nursery. Tidak terdapat interaksi nyata antara pemberian macam POC dan media tanam yang berbeda terhadap pertumbuhan bibit kelapa sawit di pre nursery.     Penerapan Data Mining dalam Analisis Prediksi Kanker Paru Menggunakan Algoritma Random Forest

    Cancer is the second highest cause of death in the world. In Indonesia, it is a disease with a high mortality rate. Most patients do not realize that they have lung cancer thus the treatment is sometimes too late. A prediction method with a high degree of accuracy is needed to detect lung cancer earlier. Previous research used data mining calcification methods with the Naïve Bayes algorithm to predict lung cancer. This research resulted in high recall values for the positive class (Yes class) but low for the negative class (No class). This research was made using the Random Forest algorithm which is known to have good performance. The modeling is optimized by applying the K-fold Cross Validation technique. The Random Forest algorithm produces a higher Accuracy value than the Naïve Bayes algorithm, which is 98.4%. This algorithm produces 100% Recall for the positive class, 80% for the negative class and provides a 100% correct prediction as can be seen from the AUC value of 1. Although a statistical test with a significance level of 5% shows the results of the two algorithms are not significantly different.Kanker merupakan penyebab kematian tertinggi kedua di dunia. Di Indonesia termasuk penyakit dengan tingkat kematian yang tinggi. Sebagian besar penderita tidak mengetahui bahwa dirinya terkena kanker paru sehingga penanganan menjadi terlambat. Metode prediksi dengan tingkat akurasi yang tinggi diperlukan untuk mendeteksi secara dini kanker paru. Penelitian sebelumnya telah memprediksi menggunakan metode kalsifikasi data minning dengan algoritma Naïve Bayes. Penelitian tersebut menghasilkan nilai recall yang tinggi untuk kelas positif (kelas Yes) namun rendah untuk kelas negatif (kelas No). Penelitian ini dibuat dengan algoritma Random Forest yang dikenal memilki performa yang baik. Pemodelan dioptimalkan dengan menerapkan teknik K-fold Cross Validation. Algoritma Random Forest memberikan performa yang lebih baik dalam hal keakuratan dibandingkan Naïve Bayes

    Komparasi Model Analisis Sentimen Pada Twitter Terhadap Kemahalan Minyak Goreng dengan Metode Naive Bayes dan Support Vector Machine

    At the end of 2021, people are shocked by the drastically reduced supply of cooking oil and high prices. This makes people talk about it a lot through social media like Twitter. Freedom on Twitter raises many responses from the public. The number of negative and positive responses on Twitter makes comparisons between the two responses difficult to observe. This study aims to determine the comparison of positive responses and negative responses. Machine learning with the naïve Bayes method and support vector machine is able to overcome this problem. The research conducted examines how the comparison between positive responses and negative responses and which method has higher accuracy. The data used is 10,000 Indonesian language tweets. Model testing was carried out with 1839 test data. the Naive Bayes method gets an accuracy of 74.06% with the results of predicting two positive tweets and 1837 negative tweets. The SVM method was tested on linear, polynomial, RBF, and sigmoid kernels. The kernel with the highest accuracy value is the sigmoid kernel with an accuracy of 81.8% with the predicted results of 266 positive tweets and 1573 negative tweets. &nbsp
