Teori Negosiasi Wajah Dalam Komunikasi Pasangan Untuk Penyelesaian Konflik Di Pengadilan Agama Medan Kelas 1A
Unavoidable marital conflict requires effective communication management to maintain harmonious family ties. This qualitative case study research analyzes the application of Face Negotiation Theory in communication with couples resolving conflicts at the Medan Class 1A Religious Court. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with three subjects (husband/wife) and divorce file documentation. The results show that preventive and restorative face-work plays a crucial role in managing conflict, influenced by cultural assumptions (individualism/collectivism) and personality tendencies (independent/interdependent), as well as situational factors such as role assessment and relational distance. In the formal context that has reached the trial, individuals have specifically experienced a face-threatening process, so that the tendency of mutual-face concern becomes dominant towards self-face concern with the aim of restoring reputation and winning arguments. This study confirms the relevance of Face Negotiation Theory in the communication process with couples for conflict resolution in the religious court environment, offering benefits to increase the effectiveness of mediation and family dispute resolution with attention to the "face" aspect and interpersonal communication behavior
Manajemen Dakwah Dewan Masjid Indonesia Kota Medan Dalam Meningkatkan Sumber Daya Manusia Pengurus Masjid Di Kota Medan
This research aims to examine the human resources (HR) improvement program for mosque administrators implemented by the Indonesian Mosque Council (DMI) of Medan City. The main focus of this research is to identify the challenges faced, the strategies used, and the impact of the program on the quality of mosque management. The research results show that increasing human resources for mosque administrators in Medan City faces various obstacles, such as a lack of understanding of modern mosque management, financial limitations, and low regeneration of administrators. DMI Medan City overcomes these challenges through training, mentoring and collaboration approaches with various parties. However, the effectiveness of the program is still limited by the lack of participation of mosque administrators, budget limitations, and less than optimal support. This research contributes to the development of a model for improving human resources for mosque administrators that is more relevant to the urban context, and can be a reference for DMI Medan City policy to optimize the role of mosque administrators

Konstestasi Pilkada Dengan Calon Tunggal Prespektif Demokrasi Prosedural
The phenomenon of a single candidate in the election of regional heads (Pilkada) in Indonesia has become an interesting issue in the study of law and democracy. Since the Constitutional Court's decision No. 100/PUU-XIII/2015, the election mechanism with a single candidate has been carried out by presenting empty boxes as an alternative choice for voters. The existence of a single candidate in the Regional Elections has various implications for democratic principles, especially related to the right to vote guaranteed in the 1945 Constitution. This study aims to analyze the legal aspects of the existence of a single candidate in the Regional Elections, examine its conformity with the democratic principles embraced in the Indonesian constitutional system, and assess its impact on the legitimacy of the elected government. The results of the study show that the mechanism of a single candidate in the Regional Elections has been legally regulated in the applicable regulations, but it still poses a dilemma in the application of democratic principles. Although the empty box is intended as a solution to ensure the sustainability of the elections, this mechanism does not fully reflect healthy political competition, as it does not provide voters with real choice in determining their leaders. In addition, the dominance of major political parties and strict candidacy requirements are the main factors that hinder the emergence of alternative candidates. Therefore, more inclusive regulatory reforms are needed to increase political competition, strengthen public participation, and maintain substantive democratic principles in regional head elections in Indonesia
Integrasi Nilai Islam dalam Pembentukan Karakter Anak Usia Dini: Peran Keluarga dan Strategi Pembiasaan
This study explores the crucial role of parents and the family environment in shaping children's character from an early age, particularly through the integration of Islamic values. Many parents lack an understanding of child psychological development and often underestimate the importance of early education, delegating the responsibility to others. However, early childhood is a critical period for personality and moral development. Using a literature review method, this research emphasizes the necessity of a holistic and continuous character-building approach, involving family education, school, and extracurricular activities. Core Islamic principles tauhid (monotheism), akhlaq (noble character), and obedience serve as the foundation for developing strong moral character. Effective character education combines habituation, instruction, and mentoring, with parental role-modeling as a key factor. Early and consistent character education fosters children who are spiritually intelligent, morally upright, and socially responsible. Instilling positive values within the family and surrounding environment forms the essential groundwork for raising individuals with strong moral integrity and social resilience
Acculturation Of Islamic Values And Local Culture: A Semiotic Analysis Of Symbols And Rituals In The Sekura Festival Tradition In West Lampung
The Sekura Festival custom in West Lampung is one of the many fascinating acculturation phenomena that Indonesia has to offer, given its rich cultural heritage and predominately Muslim populace. However, as modernization advances, traditions may lose their relevance. Because of this, people may view these customs as merely amusement without appreciating the Islamic principles they represent. There will be a conflict between adhering to Sharia principles and preserving culture as a result. Examining how Islamic ideals are represented in the symbols and customs of the Pesta Sekura tradition practiced by the residents of West Lampung is the aim of this study. Relevant literature content analysis was used to perform library research. According to the study's findings, the Sekura Festival is full of Islamic principles that are internalized through seven key elements: friendship (ukhuwah islamiyah), thankfulness, tolerance and cooperation (ta'awun), joy within the bounds of Sharia law, education and cultural da'wah, simplicity and unity, peace and reconciliation, and gratitude. Sekura symbols (Betik and Kamak) and the ritual system as a whole are excellent means of conveying these principles. According to this study, the Sekura Festival is a tangible illustration of cultural da'wah (dakwah bil hikmah), which is the integration of Islam with regional culture while adhering to Sharia law. In the face of modernity's problems, it is also a crucial means of preserving cultural legacy and fortifying the community's Islamic identity

Strategi Penggunaan Mind Mapping Dalam Pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam Untuk Memperkuat Pemahaman Naratif Siswa Di SMA Negeri 1 Kencong
This study aims to understand the strategy of using mind mapping in learning Islamic Religious Education (PAI) as an effort to strengthen students' narrative understanding at SMA Negeri 1 Kencong. Mind mapping is positioned as a visual approach that is able to assist students in organiz-ing, understanding, and internalizing narrative materials such as stories of prophets, Islamic history, and religious values in a reflective manner. This study used descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques through interviews with three teachers and a number of students, as well as observation of the learning process in the classroom. The results show that mind mapping not only improves higher-order thinking skills such as moral analysis and reflection, but also encourages students' cognitive, affective and spiritual engagement as a whole. Teachers play an important role in guiding the process of making mind maps, starting from the pre-learning stage, during learning, to post-learning. Findings also show that students who use mind mapping have stronger memory, are better able to understand the relationship between concepts, and show improvement in retelling the content of the narrative logically and contextually. Nevertheless, some obstacles were found, such as students' limited visu-alization ability and the tendency to focus on aesthetic aspects. However, these obstacles can be overcome through teacher assistance and the provision of supportive learning media. In conclusion, the mind mapping strategy effectively strengthens students' narrative comprehension in PAI learning by integrating visual, constructivistic, and contextual approaches in an integrated manner
