Get PDFThis paper discusses the integration of Islamic teachings into the curriculum as a reinforcement of character. Character is a very important thing in human life because character can determine whether a nation has a civilization or not Character can grow and develop well if it starts with internalizing the values ??of Islam. Through the integration of Islamic teachings the curriculum, it has indirectly taught to students that Islam is a teaching that contains the example of life, and morals to be used as a guide to human life in behaving and acting. Therefore, the teachings of Islam is universal that can be used as an alternative in solving the problems of nations that experience a crisis of character. Of course the integration of Islamic teachings into the curriculum that will be carried out by educators as an effort to strengthen character. It is balanced with the ability of teachers to understand the teachings of Islam it self based on the Al-Quran and Hadish, lack of understanding of educators about the teachings of Islam itself, so efforts to strengthen the character can not be achieved. Islam always positions character formation children on the main pillars of educational goals that are aligned with the background of the need to apply character education in schools; To create a large, dignified and respected nation by the world, a good society is needed starting from character building. One of the ways to develop character or character is through a process education in schools by implementing value-inculcation moral values ??in each subject matter. All parents want their children to grow up as highly respected individuals who are intelligent and have high Islamic behavior, including Muslim parents. Great people in the concept of Islam are reflected in the prime example of Muslims, namely Rasulullah SAW, according to Aisyah. ra. in a hadith: "Morality is the Koran". Parents, as early educators in the family have a fairly complex task to form a child to become the owner of the character of the Koran. This program is considered as the main capital in internalizing the values ??of the Koran into the souls of children. This research was conducted through an instrumental case study approach with narrative study as a data collection method. The results showed that parents applied three types of parenting (compassion, caregiver and honing) proportionally according to the conditions experienced. This care is implemented together with advice and rationalization on daily problems. The advice used always connects God in it. In addition, parents as much as possible design the state of the family environment always in an atmosphere of da'wah. The results of this proper parenting are children who have a religious character, are honest, not arrogant, are obedient to both parents, and study hard

Get PDFThe research objective was to determine the evaluation of PAI Learning in SMK Muhammadiyah 1 and 2 Palembang city and technical evaluation conducted at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 and 2. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive study, data collection techniques using observation techniques, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques use the framework of inductive and deductive thinking. The results of the study, the implementation of the evaluation is taken from the results of daily tests, midterm and final exam, the management of the evaluation includes planning, managing the implementation of the organization and evaluation. Technical Evaluation of PAI Learning leads to the cognitive domain, affective domain and psychomotor domain. PAI Learning Evaluation techniques implemented in SMK Muhammadiyah 1 and 2 are test and non-test techniques

Get PDFThis study aims to determine the effect of Maisyah and Culture of Work toward the Work Motivation Employee of General Elections Commissionof Musi Rawas regency. This study involved 4 respondents, all of which were employees of General Elections Commissionof Musi Rawas regency. To collect the data, this study used a set of questionnaires and the respond given by the sample was analyzed by (1) average score, (2) multiple linearity regression, (3)determination coefficient, (4) partial t-test and F test techniques.Based on the result analysis, it was found out that (1) there is a positive correlation between independent variables with the dependent variables, (2) the magnitude of independent variables influence toward the dependent variable was 40.40% and (3) the partial t – test and F – test result showed higher coefficient values than those on the critical value of the t and F tables. Based on these findings, it was concluded that maisyah and culture of work, separately and simultaneously, influenced the work motivation employee of General Elections Commission of Musi Rawas regency

This paper is a literature study that uses documents related to schools and education suppliers as sources of data and analyzed using qualitative descriptive. Reconstruction of the management of the committee through improvements to the planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating the work program of the school committee and education unit. In addition, training and guidance for school committees also requires building good communication and cooperation between the school committee, the government and other parties. That way it is expected to increase the strategic role of schools in improving the quality of education
