Meningkatkan Keterampilan Abad 21 Dengan Model Project Based Learning Pada Pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam Di SMK Muhammadiyah 5
The weak ability of critical thinking and problem solving skills, which are important parts of 21st century skills, requires innovation in the learning process, especially in Islamic religious education (PAI), so that students can face global challenges in an adaptive way. This study aims to reveal the improvement of students' 21st century skills through the application of project-based learning (PjBL) model in Islamic education subjects at SMK Muhammadiyah 5 Jember. This research approach is qualitative with the type of phenomenology, where data is obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the application of PjBL in PAI learning was able to significantly improve students' 4C (Critical Thinking, Communication, Collaboration, and Creativity) skills. This model provides a participatory space that encourages students to think critically, work together effectively, communicate actively, and foster creativity in understanding and practicing Islamic values. Thus, Project Based Learning proves to be a relevant and transformative approach to improve the quality of PAI learning in the 21st century era

Fenomena Cancel Culture Di Platfrom Instagram: Analisis Pembungkaman Simbolik Terhadap Gus Miftah
This research aims to understand how cancel culture functions as a mechanism for symbolic silencing of public figures in the digital space, focusing on the Gus Miftah case in the dynamics of public opinion on Indonesian social media. Elisabeth Noelle-Neumann's Spiral of Silence theory is used to explain the tendency of individuals to choose silence when their opinions conflict with the majority opinion, as well as how the dominance of certain opinions creates a repressive social climate against diversity of views. The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of observation of social media content, especially Instagram, literature studies, and digital documentation of public narratives that developed during the viral period of the Gus Miftah case. The results showed that cancel culture against Gus Miftah was not only a spontaneous criticism, but also an organized process that formed collective social pressure. When negative opinions dominate, supporters or parties with different views tend to remain silent, showing the spiral of silence mechanism in action. As a result, symbolic silencing occurs, where public figures lose legitimacy without space for open dialogue. This research emphasizes the importance of maintaining diversity of opinion in the digital space so that freedom of expression is preserved
Makna Komunikasi Emosional Dalam Film Pendek Animasi “Pupus – Cangkir Profesor” Melalui Simbol Cangkir Dan Relasi Antargenerasi
This study aims to explore the meaning of emotional communication in the animated short film Pupus – Cangkir Profesor through the analysis of symbolic elements and intergenerational relationships. The research focuses on how visual symbols, particularly the cup, function as a medium to convey emotional bonds, memories, and values between characters of different generations. The method used is a qualitative approach with semiotic analysis, applying Roland Barthes’ framework to interpret the denotative, connotative, and mythical levels of meaning in selected scenes from the animation. Data were obtained by observing and documenting key visual moments, then analyzed to uncover the layered meanings embedded in the narrative and visual cues. The findings reveal that the cup symbol carries significant sentimental value, representing love, remembrance, and emotional continuity between the younger and older characters. It also reflects cultural values of respect, care, and the transmission of wisdom across generations. The study concludes that visual symbols in animated storytelling can serve as powerful tools to evoke empathy, strengthen emotional engagement, and preserve intergenerational connections, making them effective in both artistic and communicative contexts

This study aims to analyze the public communication of dakwah (Islamic preaching) carried out by Qotrunnada Syathiry through the social media platform TikTok, based on Harold D. Lasswell's mass communication theory. The research explores how Qotrunnada Syathiry utilizes TikTok to disseminate dakwah messages and engage with a broader audience, focusing on the five key elements of Lasswell's model: who (the communicator), what (the message), in which channel (the medium), to whom (the audience), and with what effect (the impact). By employing content analysis and examining the interaction metrics such as views, likes, comments, and shares, the study reveals that Qotrunnada's communication approach effectively builds credibility (ethos), evokes emotional responses (pathos), and utilizes TikTok's interactive features to engage audiences. The findings indicate that TikTok serves as an efficient medium for reaching diverse audiences, especially the younger generation, while promoting positive values and spiritual messages. This research contributes to the understanding of how mass communication theory can be applied to digital platforms for effective dakwah and offers insights for future research in digital Islamic communication strategies
