    Strategi Komunikasi Dakwah Ustadz Asmar Habibie Dalam Membangun Relasi Dengan Jama’ah Di Era Digital

    This study aims to identify and analyze how Ustadz Asmar Habibie designs a da'wah communication strategy in building relationships with the congregation in the digital era. The research method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative method using observation, interviews, and documentation, especially the analysis of Ustadz Asmar Habibie's da'wah video content on the Instagram and TikTok social media platforms. The results of this study indicate that the da'wah communication strategy used by Ustadz Asmar Habibie in building relationships in the digital era by utilizing digital media platforms, namely creating da'wah and social content on social media, also establishing close relationships with the congregation through replying to comments with funny vt and jokes that are his trademark. In this case, Ustadz Asmar Habibie can be widely known by young people and parents in absorbing religious values and he can reach wider relations both in West Pasaman, outside the district and even outside the province

    This study aims to explore the transformation of da'wah communication that occurs in the digital era, with a focus on analyzing strategies and challenges in spreading Islamic messages. The development of information and communication technology has driven a paradigm shift in the method of delivering da'wah. Digital media such as social media, blogs, and video platforms are now the main means used by da'i to reach a wider audience, especially the younger generation who are very familiar with the digital world. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach and content analysis, and is complemented by in-depth interviews with da'wah practitioners and analysis of relevant literature. The results of the study show that transformation through digital media opens up significant opportunities to increase the reach and interactivity of da'wah message delivery. However, there are also a number of challenges, including difficulties in maintaining message authenticity, content verification, and data security and privacy issues. In addition, competition with a flood of information from various digital sources also forces da'wah practitioners to develop innovative and adaptive communication strategies so that Islamic messages continue to be conveyed effectively and on target. The findings of this study are expected to provide strategic recommendations for religious institutions in optimizing the use of digital technology for the dissemination of da'wah messages, as well as offering solutions to the challenges that arise. This research also contributes to the development of modern da'wah methodology that is relevant to the dynamics of the digital era, so that it is expected to be able to maintain the sustainability and attractiveness of Islamic values ??in a global context

    This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of TikTok social media content on the @eva.alicia account in increasing self-actualization in generation Z, especially students of the Islamic Communication and Broadcasting Study Program (KPI) of the State Islamic University of North Sumatra (UINSU) stambuk 2021. Self-actualization is one of the highest needs in the hierarchy of human needs according to Abraham Maslow, which reflects the full realization of the individual's potential. In today's digital era, social media is one of the dominant means of self-actualization among generation Z. TikTok as a short video-based platform has become a very popular medium of self-expression and development. The @eva.alicia account, which consistently presents motivational, self-improvement, and self-love content, is considered to be able to have a positive influence on the behavior and way of thinking of its audience. The research method used was quantitative descriptive with data collection techniques through the distribution of questionnaires to 70 UINSU KPI student respondents. The results of the study showed that most of the respondents felt encouraged to recognize their potential, improve their quality, and be more confident in expressing themselves in public spaces after consuming content from the account. In addition, respondents also showed increased awareness of the importance of mental health, skill development, and forming a positive self-image

    The state of the younger generation presents a considerable challenge in terms of a good understanding of the fiqh of marriage. Many of them are influenced by cultural circumstances and lack a strong foundation. This study aims to explore the challenges faced by the Binjai City Nikah Clinic in carrying out marriage proselytization to the younger generation, as well as identifying strategies and solutions implemented to overcome these challenges. This research is a field research using qualitative methods with in-depth interviews with Nikah Clinic managers and program participants. The findings show that the main challenges faced include a lack of understanding about marriage education, changes in social values that are more liberal, and the influence of secular and materialistic views that are getting stronger. In addition, there is a tendency among the younger generation to postpone marriage. To overcome these challenges, the Marriage Clinic implemented several strategies, including improving the quality and relevance of programs such as pre-marital lectures that focus on mental and emotional readiness, as well as organizing seminars and workshops that teach practical skills in managing home life. The Marriage Clinic also applies a more personalized approach of mentoring and small group discussions, and invites the community to be more involved in da'wah and marriage education. The effectiveness of these strategies is evident in the participants' increased understanding of the importance of marriage readiness, although major challenges remain in relation to the habits and views of the younger generation towards marriage

    This study aims to explore the role of women in the context of digital da'wah, which has increasingly developed alongside advancements in information technology. The research focuses on three main aspects: (1) the concept of digital da'wah, (2) the role of women in digital da'wah, and (3) the opportunities and challenges faced by women in conducting da'wah through digital platforms. Using a qualitative approach and literature study, the research finds that digital da'wah is a form of religious communication that utilizes digital media—such as social media and other online platforms—to reach a broader and more diverse audience. In this context, women play a significant role, not only as content consumers (objects of da'wah) but also as producers and disseminators of religious messages (subjects of da'wah). They use digital platforms to convey religious messages, initiate discussions, and build communities centered around religious values. However, this role is not without challenges, including social stigma, limited access to technology, and pressure from cultural norms that continue to marginalize women. On the other hand, digital da'wah presents significant opportunities for women to actively participate in spreading religious values, building networks, and expanding their influence in the public sphere. This study concludes that digital da'wah opens new spaces for women to play a more active role in religious activities, although various challenges must still be addressed

    This research aims to explore the changes in the media ecosystem at TVRI Bengkulu brought about by the modification of broadcasters' roles into influencers within the context of modern media. This role transformation involves changes in how broadcasters interact with audiences and its impact on communication structures, work culture, and audience engagement in the digital world. The study employs a qualitative approach with a constructivist paradigm, utilizing in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis related to TVRI Bengkulu's programs for data collection. The findings reveal that although broadcasters at TVRI Bengkulu have started using social media to build personal branding and engage with audiences, there are no formal regulations or policies supporting the development of this role. Nevertheless, broadcasters who have transitioned into influencers have successfully expanded their reach, particularly among the younger generation who are more active on social media. This transformation has impacted the media ecosystem at TVRI Bengkulu in terms of social interaction, content management, and shifts in work culture within the broadcasting organization. This study is expected to provide deeper insights into how the transformation of broadcasters into influencers influences the sustainability and relevance of broadcasting institutions in the digital era

    Pengembangan Strategi Pemanfaatan Media Sosial Dalam Penerimaan Mahasiswa Baru

    This study aims to formulate development strategies to optimize social media use in supporting the student admission process at Universitas Muhammadiyah Bengkulu (UMB). Using a mixed-methods approach, quantitative data were gathered from 100 respondents via online questionnaires, while qualitative data were obtained from 16 purposively selected informants through interviews. The analysis employed SWOT, IFE (Internal Factor Evaluation), and EFE (External Factor Evaluation) frameworks. Results identified 12 strategies classified into SO, WO, ST, and WT categories. With an IFE score of 2.79 and an EFE score of 2.64, UMB falls into Quadrant V, indicating a "hold and maintain" position. The recommended strategies align with the 4P marketing mix: promotion through active and targeted social media campaigns, product represented by engaging and relevant digital content, place by utilizing accessible online platforms such as Instagram and TikTok, and price reflected in cost-efficiency by leveraging student involvement and influencers instead of high-budget marketing. These strategies aim to increase visibility, build a strong institutional image, and enhance UMB’s competitiveness in attracting prospective students

    This study aims to analyze therapeutic communication practices employed by volunteers in community-based care for people with mental disorders (ODGJ). The focus of the research is directed at the meaning, communication strategies, and challenges faced by volunteers in the mentoring process. This study used a qualitative approach with a narrative study method. Data were obtained through in depth interviews with volunteers directly involved in mentoring people with mental disorders. Data were analyzed by tracing the informants' narrative flow to identify key themes in therapeutic communication practices, which were then interpreted using a therapeutic communication theoretical framework. The results indicate that volunteers' therapeutic communication is adaptive and contextual, not tied to formal clinical procedures. Volunteers interpret therapeutic communication as a process of building a sense of safety and empathetic relationships, especially in crisis situations. These communication practices involve strategic flexibility, the use of nonverbal communication, and the communicator's emotional regulation. These findings confirm that volunteers play a strategic role as therapeutic communication actors in community-based mental health services. This research contributes to the development of therapeutic communication studies by expanding its application beyond formal professional settings

    This study aims to analyze the use of interactive learning methods in improving learning achievement of grade 3 students of SDN 67 Bengkulu City by using the perspective of DeVito's interpersonal communication theory as the basis of analysis. The theory used is DeVito's interpersonal communication theory which includes five main principles namely openness, empathy, equality, support, and positive attitude as a framework to assess the effectiveness of communication in interactive learning. The research method used a qualitative approach involving a grade 3 teacher (Mrs. Rumlah, S.Pd) and 31 grade 3 students (16 boys and 15 girls) aged 8 to 9 years old as participants. Data collection was conducted through direct observation of the implementation of interactive learning and analysis of changes in communication patterns in the learning process. The results showed that the implementation of interactive learning methods with DeVito's principles resulted in significant changes from teacher-centered communication patterns to student-centered communication patterns. The principle of openness can be seen from the increasing frequency of students asking questions spontaneously and the courage of students to convey difficulties in learning, which ultimately contributes to improving student learning achievement

    Strategi Dakwah Melalui Integrasi Sosial: Asimilasi Budaya Melayu di Ma’had Aman Bistari Selangor Malaysia

    The phenomenon of religious conversion in Malaysia, particularly among new Muslim students at Ma'had Aman Bistari who come from Chinese, Indian, and indigenous backgrounds, poses challenges to social integration and the formation of religious identity. This study aims to formulate a strategic da'wah model rooted in Malay culture to support inclusive integration. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation of da'wah activities. Thematic analysis revealed four key aspects of integration: social participation through community dialogue, adoption of Malay cultural symbols, horizontal relationships based on empathy, and spiritual and economic empowerment. The findings emphasize that strategic da'wah is inseparable from the socio-cultural dimensions that shape the daily interactions of converts. This study confirms that the da'wah strategy through social integration at Ma'had Tahfidz Vokasional Aman Bistari Selangor is effective in supporting the process of Malay cultural assimilation among students who convert to Islam across ethnicities. The findings indicate that da'wah practices focus not only on spiritual teachings but also on strengthening social cohesion through language, lifestyle, and inclusive cultural interactions
