    The practice of modern Islamic education today tends to be stuck in administrative formalities so as to lose the philosophical and reflective depth that is the essence of the teachings of the Qur'an. This research aims to explore the philosophical dimension in the Qur'an to reconstruct the Islamic education model that is able to harmonize revelation with the development of reason. This study uses a qualitative method through a literature study with thematic interpretation analysis (maudhu'i) on key terms such as al-haqq, al-'ilm, and hikmah. The results of the study show that philosophy in Islam is an instrument to harmonize reason and faith through the process of tafakkur and tadabbur. Islamic epistemology positions revelation as a guide of reason in achieving absolute truth. In the context of education, this integration aims to form students who have spiritual depth (ma'rifah) and a solid understanding of religion (tafaqquh fi al-din), so that education is not only a cognitive process, but also transformative for character and intellectual

    This study aims to analyze the utilization of the Qur’ani application as an instructional medium for tahsin learning in senior high schools, focusing on three key aspects: the impact of the application on students’ reading proficiency, the challenges encountered during its implementation, and the extent to which the application is integrated into classroom instruction. A qualitative research approach was employed, with data collected through in-depth interviews, classroom observations, and supporting documentation. Data analysis followed the interactive model of Miles and Huberman, consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the Qur’ani application significantly enhances students’ reading abilities, particularly in improving makhraj accuracy, fluency, and mastery of difficult Arabic letters. Through features such as audio examples, repeated practice, and tajweed visualization, students are able to practice independently and gain greater confidence in reading the Qur'an. Nonetheless, several challenges were identified, including limited student devices, unstable internet connections, and the lack of teacher training to utilize the application's features optimally. Pedagogical challenges also arise from varying levels of students’ initial reading abilities, which affect the uniformity of learning progress. The integration of the Qur’ani application into tahsin learning remains in its early stages; however, it demonstrates strong potential when applied systematically and consistently. Overall, the Qur’ani application contributes positively to tahsin learning and requires stronger institutional support and teacher capacity-building for effective implementation

    This research examines the innovation of digital media in Islamic Religious Education (IRE) learning, focusing on the transformation of educational practices in the digital era. The study aims to explore the role of digital media in enhancing the effectiveness and interactivity of IRE learning, as well as its impact on student engagement and understanding of Islamic teachings. The research employs a qualitative approach, utilizing case studies conducted in several high schools and universities that have integrated digital media into their IRE curriculum. Data were collected through interviews with teachers, students, and educational administrators, as well as direct observations of digital learning practices. The findings indicate that digital media, such as mobile apps, educational videos, and online platforms, significantly improve students' engagement and understanding of Islamic teachings. However, challenges such as limited digital literacy among educators and students, and insufficient infrastructure in some areas, were identified. This study highlights the potential of digital media to enhance IRE learning while emphasizing the need for further development of digital literacy skills and infrastructure to fully realize its benefits in education

    This study aims to describe the implementation of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model through the involvement of community figures in teaching the fiqh of funeral management at SMK Negeri 3 Lubuklinggau. The background of this research is based on the need to transform conventional teaching methods into a more applicable approach for vocational high school students. This study employed a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through participant observation, in-depth interviews with Islamic Religious Education (IRE) teachers, and documentation of learning outcomes. The findings reveal that the implementation of the CTL model was carried out through systematic integration between classroom theoretical reinforcement and the direct involvement of community figures as primary practitioners. This process successfully transformed learning from a theoretical approach into an authentic and meaningful learning experience. The involvement of social actors in the instructional process proved capable of optimizing cognitive understanding, sharpening psychomotor skills, and validating students' mental readiness and self-confidence in performing fardhu kifayah obligations. This study concludes that the synchronization between the school curriculum and the practical wisdom of community figures creates an adaptive learning ecosystem for vocational students in fulfilling their religious social responsibilities

    An Analysis Of Hasan Hanafi's Occidentalism: Dismantling Western Epistemological Hegemony For Non-Western Knowledge

    This study examines the construction of occidentalism within the framework of contemporary Islamic theology, focusing on Hasan Hanafi's thought and its contribution to maintaining epistemology in the non-Western world. The aim of the study is to identify the forms of occidentalism that emerge in contemporary Islamic theological discourse. It explores Hasan Hanafi's approach to the deconstruction of Western epistemology and assesses the impact of Hanafi's thought on the development of knowledge discourse in non-Western contexts. The methods used are critical library research and hermeneutic textual analysis of Hasan Hanafi's main works, as well as a comparative study of the literature on occidentalism and epistemology in non-Western regions. The results show that Hasan Hanafi offers a systematic critique of the pretensions of universality of Western epistemology with an emphasis on epistemic plurality, the historical reconstruction of Muslim experience, and the need for an autonomous normative basis for knowledge production in the Islamic world. His thought challenges the tradition-modernity dichotomy and introduces the concept of cultural reconstruction as a strategy to restore the epistemic heritage of non-Western societies. The study concludes that Hasan Hanafi's contribution enriches contemporary Islamic theological discourse by offering a critical epistemic framework that rejects occidentalist domination and opens up space for pluralistic dialogue between local traditions and intellectual innovation

    This study aims to analyze the communication strategy of da'wah carried out by the Halal Product Guarantee Agency (BPJPH) in educating culinary Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Medan City regarding the importance of halal certification. The research method used is a qualitative approach with in-depth interview techniques and document analysis. The results of the study show that BPJPH implements a communication strategy through various media, including direct socialization, use of social media, and collaboration with various institutions such as local governments, banks, and religious organizations. Social media, especially Instagram and WhatsApp, are used to expand the reach of halal certification education. In addition, training and mentoring programs by the Halal Product Process Assistant (P3H) are key factors in helping MSMEs understand and meet halal certification requirements. The main obstacles in implementing this strategy are the lack of understanding of business actors about the benefits of halal certification and limited resources in meeting administrative requirements. Therefore, efforts are needed to improve education and digitize services so that the halal certification process is more accessible to MSMEs

    This study aims to analyze personal branding through the Instagram account @samikn_ belonging to a University of Indonesia student from Bengkulu by utilizing the InstaStory feature. Using Peter Montoya's (2003) personal branding theory and McNally's (2012) personal brand characteristics, this study applies a descriptive qualitative approach through content analysis of InstaStory publications over a certain period of time. Semi-structured interviews and documentation analysis are also used as supporting data. The results show that @samikn_ has successfully implemented Montoya's eight personal branding principles, including activeness in organizations (The Law of Specialization), leadership in public speaking and preserving Bengkulu culture (The Law of Leadership), and authentic personality in motivation and a healthy lifestyle (The Law of Personality). In addition, he emphasizes uniqueness through volunteer activities (The Law of Distinctiveness), maintains visibility through consistent uploads (The Law of Visibility), combines personal values ??with the built image (The Law of Unity), demonstrates persistence in communication (The Law of Persistence), and has a positive impact on the environment (The Law of Goodwill). @samikn_'s personal brand also meets McNally's criteria: unique, relevant to the younger generation, and consistent

    This study aims to analyze the meaning and recommendations for da'wah in the hadith of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, Balligh? ‘ann? Walau ?yah, based on the perspectives of classical and contemporary hadith scholars. This study uses a qualitative method with a library research approach, where primary sources are taken from major hadith books such as ?a??? al-Bukh?r?, Sunan al-Tirmidh?, Sunan al-D?rim?, and Musnad A?mad bin ?anbal. The analysis was carried out through the takhrij al-?ad?th process to trace the chain of narration and text, followed by ma‘?n? al-?ad?th analysis to understand the contextual meaning based on explanations from scholars such as Ibn ?ajar al-‘Asqal?n?, Badr al-D?n al-‘Ain?, and al-Q??? al-Bay??w?. The results show that the hadith of Balligh? ‘ann? Meski ?yah is a valid hadith with a continuous sanad and a trusted narrator. The content of this hadith emphasizes that the obligation of da’wah is universal, not limited to scholars, but applies to every Muslim according to their knowledge and abilities. The hadith of Balligh? ‘ann? Meski ?yah not only functions as an invitation to da’wah but also as a basic principle for spreading knowledge and truth in Islam, upholding the values ??of honesty, truth, and justice

    This study analyzes public communication in the supervision of the Mayor of Lubuk LinggauRegulation No. 38 of 2021 concerning the Admission of New Students (PPDB) at the kindergarten, elementary, and junior high school levels, from the perspective of the community as policy beneficiaries. Effective public communication is a key factor in the success of educational policy oversight; however, its implementation in Lubuk Linggau City still faces various challenges. This quantitative descriptive research employs Dunn’s (2003) policy evaluation framework, which includes five dimensions: effectiveness, efficiency, adequacy, equity, and responsiveness. Data were collected through a survey of 39 respondents who participated in DPRD supervisory activities, selected purposively from a total of 100 participants. The results indicate that public communication in PPDB supervision falls under the “fairly implemented” category, with a grand mean score of 2.021. The efficiency dimension received the highest score (mean 1.692), while the responsiveness dimension received the lowest (mean 2.205), indicating weak two-way communication mechanisms between policymakers and the public. These findings highlight the importance of strengthening public communication strategies in the supervision of education policies to enhance transparency, accountability, and community participation in local education governance.               &nbsp

    Dakwah Sebagai Resolusi Sosial Terhadap Penyimpangan Sosial Di Masyarakat Lombok

    This study aims to analyze the role of da'wah as a social resolution to various forms of social deviance occurring in Lombok society. Social phenomena such as moral decline, promiscuity, drug abuse, and the weakening of mutual cooperation values indicate serious challenges in the social life of a society facing the currents of modernization and globalization. In this context, da'wah functions not only as a means of conveying religious teachings, but also as a social mechanism capable of guiding, controlling, and correcting community behavior so that it remains in line with moral and religious values. This research uses a qualitative approach by examining the religious social phenomena of the Sasak community in Lombok. The results of the study show that dakwah plays a significant role in shaping social awareness and strengthening community solidarity through the teachings of amar ma'ruf nahi munkar. Dakwah in Lombok is carried out through various approaches, including dakwah bi al-lisan (lectures and recitations), dakwah bi al-hal (social actions such as economic empowerment, cleanliness, and the environment), and dakwah based on local culture such as Maulid Adat and zikir together. In addition, the role of religious leaders such as Tuan Guru and Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) are key pillars in instilling Islamic values and maintaining community morality. The cultural approach, use of local languages, and synergy between religious scholars, traditional leaders, and village governments have made da'wah in Lombok effective in preventing and addressing social deviance. Thus, da'wah in Lombok not only functions as a spiritual activity, but also as a social resolution that can strengthen religious values, foster solidarity, and maintain social balance amid the dynamics of changing times
