GAYA KOMUNIKASI KEVIN NGUYEN DALAM MENYAMPAIKAN ISU POLITIK DI MEDIA TIKTOK
Full text linkKomunikasi merupakan kegiatan pertukaran gagasan secara verbal maupun nonverbal antar manusia. Suatu kegiatan komunikasi memerlukan cara penyampaian dan gaya bahasa yang baik. Oleh karena itu dalam berkomunikasi manusia tidak akan bisa lepas dari gaya komunikasi. Begitu pula dengan Kevin Nguyen dalam menyampaikan isu politik di media TikTok Ia memerlukan gaya komunikasi yang baik. Dengan adanya gaya komunikasi yang digunakan Kevin Nguyen, pesan yang disampaikan memiliki daya tarik dan mudah diterima oleh para pengguna media TikTok bahkan di luar media sosial tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini yakni untuk mengetahui bagaimana gaya komunikasi dan apa saja faktor pendukung gaya komunikasi Kevin Nguyen dalam menyampaikan isu politik di media TikTok. Selanjutnya pada pengelolaan data, penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Teori utama yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori gaya komunikasi Robert Norton. Dalam teori tersebut terdapat 10 gaya komunikasi yang dikemukakan oleh Norton. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa gaya komunikasi Kevin Nguyen dalam menyampaikan isu politik di media TikTok meliputi gaya komunikasi yang dominan, gaya komunikasi argumentatif atau kontroversial, gaya komunikasi animasi ekspresif, gaya komunikasi meninggalkan kesan, gaya komunikasi santai dan gaya komunikasi bersahabat. Kemudian ditemukan adanya faktor pendukung gaya komunikasi Kevin Nguyen diantaranya, kondisi fisik, peran, bahasa dan hubungan
Not by Their Own Choices: Coping Strategies of Students in Difficult Circumstances
Full text linkThis research examines the adaptation process of students in higher education, focusing on those enrolled in programs that were not their first choice. Using a descriptive quantitative approach, data were collected from 149 students across three semesters in the English Education Department at UIN Imam Bonjol. The findings reveal that reliance on peer support, lecturer assistance, and academic services peaks in the third semester but declines in the fifth semester, indicating a shift toward self-reliance. Students heavily utilize coping strategies, such as seeking peer support and additional learning resources, to navigate challenges. However, satisfaction with academic services and engagement in extracurricular activities remained modest, highlighting areas for institutional improvement. The study underscores the importance of tailored support, consistent faculty engagement, and inclusive programs to enhance student resilience, motivation, and overall academic success
DEVELOPMENT OF ANDROID-BASED MATHEMATICS LEARNING MEDIA ASSISTED BY ISPRING SUITE 9 AND POWERPOINT TO IMPROVE PROBLEM SOLVING ABILITY
Full text linkDevelopment of digital-era force teaching and learning situation to have a technology innovation, also in teaching and learning mathematics. Mathematics include an abstract object, so it needs to innovate learning media and learning model to connect from an abstract object to concrete or contextual object so that students can easily understand mathematics. The fact that students’ problem solving skills is still low can be reduced by using appropriate media learning that suitable with students’ characteristics and technology development. This research aims to develop Android-based mathematics learning media with a contextual approach to material on systems of linear equations in two variables (SPLDV) that is valid and practical, and effective in improving students' problem solving abilities. The method used in this research is the ADDIE method (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation). This research produced a product in the form of Android-based mathematics learning media called MO SPLDV which was categorized as valid with a percentage of 78.378% and the practicality level of the product was obtained in the very practical category with a percentage of 90.42%. This product is effective in improving students' problem solving abilities based on the results of the N-Gain calculation which shows g = 0.5 which is classified as medium
Pemanfaatan Media Pembelajaran Berbasis Web Educaplay dalam Fluida Statis
Full text linkThe modern era has brought significant changes in various fields, including education, where information technology plays an important role in distance learning. Technology can facilitate flexible and interactive learning platforms. One innovation in education is the use of web-based games, such as Educaplay, which provides various interactive game features for learning. This research aims to explore the utilization of Educaplay web technology based on Froggy Jump game in physics learning related to static fluid material. The research method used is Research and Development (RnD) with the ADDIE model which includes analysis, design, and development. The results of the study describe the use of this game-based educaplay web in physics learning. Educaplay, with its interactive features, is able to increase students' interest and engagement in learning physics, overcoming the challenges of conventional learning that is often boring. However, the successful implementation of this technology requires the support of adequate facilities and infrastructure as well as teacher readiness in utilizing technology effectively
Disaster Preparedness Plan melalui Kegiatan Mitigasi Bencana di Pusat Dokumentasi dan Informasi Kebudayaan Minangkabau (PDIKM) Padang Panjang
Full text linkKeberadaan bencana tidak bisa dipisahkan dari aktivitas sehari-hari manusia karena dapat menimpa siapa saja dan di mana saja. Sehingga diperlukan sebuah perencanaan yang matang dalam mengantisipasi terjadinya bencana. Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kesiapsiagaan dalam menghadapi bencana (disaster praparness plan) yang telah diterapkan oleh lembaga Pusat Dokumentasi dan Informasi Kebudayaan Miangkabau (PDIKM) Padang Panjang dalam menghadapi tanggap bencana kebakaran, gunung erupsi dan banjir. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Teknik Pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Adapun hasil yang didapatkan bahwa untuk bencana Kebakaran sudah adanya perencanaan tanggap bencana secara optimal sesuai dengan tahapannya. Untuk Bencana Erupusi Gunung Merapi yaitu tindakan yang dilakukan dalam mengahadapi bencana tersebut, PDIKM Padang Panjang menyiapakan berupa kotak kaca (etalase) untuk menyimpan koleksi yang ada. Fungsi lemari etalase tersebut memberikan perlindungan bagi koleksi dari abu erupsi. Sedangkan untuk Kesiapsiagaan PDIKM Padang Panjang Dalam Menghadapi bencana banjir, belum direncanakan dikarenakan letak lokasi Museum PDIKM Padang panjang berada di daerah ketinggian, dan tidak berpotensi terjadinya banjir. Rekomendasi dari penulis diharapkan pihak PDIKM membuat sebuah pedoman secara tertulis tentang mitigasi bencana agar dapat dipedomani oleh pengelola PDIKM
ANALISIS OPTIMALISASI INSTAGRAM @PEMPROV.SUMBAR SEBAGAI MEDIA INFORMASI PUBLIK DI RUANG PUBLIK
Full text linkSocial media platform Instagram has become a public communication channel used by governmental institutions to disseminate public information to the community. Nevertheless, Instagram @pemprov.sumbar lacks significant public interaction. This research aims to describe the optimization of the use of public space on Instagram @pemprov.sumbar. Furthermore, this study aims to describe the inhibiting factors of managing the Instagram account @pemprov.sumbar as a means of conveying public information. The theory employed in this study is the public sphere theory developed by Jurgen Habermas. This theory analyzes how the Instagram account @pemprov.sumbar functions as a public information medium within the public sphere. This research utilizes qualitative research methodology, a constructivist paradigm, with a descriptive approach. The research findings indicate that Instagram @pemprov.sumbar is not yet optimal in providing public information within the public sphere. The information provided is limited to ceremonial information. Moreover, the management process is influenced by inhibiting factors that prevent the creation of an optimal public sphere, one of which is laws related to public information openness that have not been adequately integrated into the realm of social media. Consequently, there is a lack of clear Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for managing public information media to deliver the required information to the public within the public sphere. The ambiguity of the SOPs for managing Instagram @pemprov.sumbar ultimately results in suboptimal public discourse
Cadreization of Women Ulama in Rahima: Epistemological Analysis of Husein Muhammad's Tafsir
No full textThis study examines Husein Muhammad's epistemology of interpretation in the context of women's empowerment, specifically through the Women's Ulama Training Program (PUP) by the NGO Rahima. Husein Muhammad's epistemology interpretation includes explanations about women's position in the Qur'an, the importance of knowledge for women, and women's leadership. His sources of interpretation encompass the Qur'an, Hadith, and the opinions of scholars, with validity tested using coherence and correspondence theories. Rahima has developed an epistemological model that uses a rational and critical approach to interpreting the Qur'an, focusing on inclusivity and justice. This research employs qualitative and descriptive-analytical methods with the maudhu’i method. Primary data sources include the book "Epistemology of Contemporary Interpretation" by Abdul Mustaqim, "Women Ulama in the Historical Spotlight" by Husein Muhammad, educational modules by Hilmi Ali Yafie, and Rahima's website. The study results indicate that PUP is an academic program that promotes a deep understanding of religion, gender equality, and knowledge of women's rights. The program aims to form competent female ulama who can contribute positively to society

Full text linkMaharatul Qiraah or reading skills is one of four skills, including maharahatul istima', maharahatul kalam, and maharatul kitabah. Maharah Qiraah is one of the basic skills in a foreign language which is also important, this is because reading skills are classified as active receptive abilities, and this ability is to understand the language spoken by other parties (decoding process). In Maharah Qira'ah learning, teachers are required to choose appropriate and effective learning methods, because the choice of method plays a very important role in making things easier for teachers and also making things easier for students in the teaching and learning process. This research uses the Qualitative Library Research research method. And this article also aims to describe how to prepare the correct Maharah Qira'ah test for learning Arabic. Having guidelines for preparing the Maharah Qira'ah test will make it easier for teachers to find appropriate and effective learning methods for learning Maharah Qira'ah. From the research results, it was found that this method was able to improve students' reading skills in learning maharah qira'a
Teori Ketuhanan Sigmund Freud Analisis Filsafat Ketuhanan Al Kindi
Full text linkThis article describes the analysis of the weaknesses of Sigmund Freud's concept of divinity which is analyzed with the concept of Al Kindi's divine philosophy. The analysis uses a qualitative approach with exploratory and analytical methods. The result of this research is that Sigmund Freud's view of God cannot be justified, because it is only his subjective view that is far-fetched without conducting a deeper study of the essence and existence of God Himself. Freud only studied the psychological side of man, but he did not study the spiritual side of man himself. Al Kindi's view of God is more reliable because he explains the essence and existence of God based on empirical evidence that exists in nature, such as the novelty of nature, diversity in form, and the neatness of nature. He also explained that God is both the creator and the ruler of the universe. There is only one God and no one like Him. Besides Allah, it has many meanings. Therefore, in order to attain knowledge of God, it is necessary to conduct a deeper study in terms of man's intellect and spirituality so that he does not deny the existence of God

Full text linkThis article investigates the applicability of Sufism is as a therapeutic strategy for adolescents experiencing stress and anxiety in the contemporary world. This article explores how Sufism's tenets—meditation, reflection, and religious values can benefit teens' mental health in light of the psychological difficulties that today's generation is facing. This article offers an understanding of the application of pertinent Sufism methods to young people everyday situations as a useful tool for anxiety and depression management through an analysis of the available literature and empirical analysis. It is hoped that this knowledge will significantly aid in the creation of comprehensive approaches and techniques for intervention for teenagers mental health in the stressful modern world
