This study aims to analyze thermal and visual comfort in fishermen's houses on the coast of Leato Selatan Village, Gorontalo City. The research method uses a quantitative approach with direct measurements using digital instruments including infrared thermometers, digital anemometers, digital hygrometers, altimeter barometer thermometer compasses, digital thermocouples, and lux meters. Data was collected from two fishermen's houses as case studies with three measurements taken. The results showed that wood provided better thermal insulation than zinc, while cross ventilation with sea breezes effectively created natural cooling. Houses with optimal orientation and openings were able to meet the natural lighting standard of 200-350 lux, but some interior areas still lacked lighting. The data accuracy rate reached 80% with student comprehension at 85%. This research provides a basis for the development of coastal architectural designs that are responsive to the tropical climate by integrating the local wisdom of the fishing community

The aim of this research is to create a resort building in the Mariona Jellyfish Lake area by implementing ecotourism architecture in the design. This study method uses descriptive analysis to determine field conditions, markets and tourist interests. Data collection was carried out through field surveys to obtain primary data, which included direct observation of site conditions, analysis of physical conditions and the environment around the site. The natural beauty of the Mariona Jellyfish Lake area and its surroundings should be enjoyed. However, there is no adequate cultivation in the area at present, so conditions remain natural and disorganized, which makes it impossible to enjoy the existing natural beauty comfortably. To achieve this, good processing is needed, namely creating a tourist spot to enjoy natural beauty, especially by utilizing the Mariona Jellyfish Lake to preserve the environment and preserve the life and health of local residents. Lack of knowledge about natural processing causes nature to become damaged and cannot be enjoyed by humans. Therefore, there needs to be a place where people can enjoy the beauty of nature while protecting it so that it can be enjoyed now and in the future. Because the location is far from the city, you cannot visit all the tourist attractions in one day, tourist attractions must be supported by the resort. Therefore, a resort must be built that provides various recreational and tourist facilities in addition to accommodation

This study aims to further investigate the effect of concrete beam joints on the flexural strength testing of beams with 1 loading point, beam fracture patterns due to the presence of joints where the concrete casting process in projects often cannot be completed in one series of castings. This can happen because the implementation method is applied in stages, the casting area is very large so the volume of concrete is very large and the limitations of manpower, equipment and materials. The result will be casting joints. What is being debated in the field is where the casting should be stopped. To answer this question, this research was conducted. The approach is carried out by testing the flexural strength of a concrete block measuring 15x20x120 cm. The compressive strength of the concrete used is f'c 20. This beam is without reinforcement. So the concrete behavior will be known without being affected by reinforcement. Casting of beams was carried out in 2 stages with 1 day casting time difference and the angle of inclination of the joints was 45o. Connections are made at ¼ and ½ beam span positions. As a form of reinforcement, concrete adhesive is added to the joints. Flexural strength testing was carried out at the age of 14, 21 and 28 days of concrete. The test results show that all beams that have joints are broken at the joints with a broken pattern according to the connection. Overall the beams that have flexural strength joints drop by up to 75%. Thus the casting process that is not complete will produce concrete joints that have the same risk and it cannot be determined which is better between joints in ¼ or ½ span. This proves that concrete joints are points that are prone to fracture due to bending
