Akseptasi Masyarakat Mandar terhadap al-Mu‘Awwiżatain dalam Merespon Kejahatan Sihir di Polewali Mandar: (Studi Living Qur’an)
Permasalahan yang dikaji dalam penelitian ini adalah: (1) bagaimana upaya masyarakat Mandar terhadap al-Mu‘awwiżatain sebagai pelindung dari kejahatan sihir di Polewali Mandar, (2) bagaimana upaya masyarakat Mandar dalam penggunaan al-Mu‘awwiżatainsebagai obat dan penyembuh dari kejahatan sihir di Polewali Mandar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif yang bersifat deskriktif, berupa kata-kata yang tertulis atau lisan dari narasumber yang dapat diamati. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan mengadakan obeservasi, wawancara mendalam dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian dari akseptasi masyarakat Mandar terhadap al-Mu‘awwiżatain dalam merespon kejahatan sihir di Polewali Mandar, ialah pada umumnya masyarakat Polewali Mandar menerima al-Mu‘awwiżatain. Bentuk penerimaan mereka terhadap al-Mu‘awwiżatain berbeda-beda, ada yang menerima surah ini tetapi dibarengi dengan bacaan lain, adapula yang mengamalkannya tetapi masih melakukan upaya perdukunan, serta adapula yang mengamalkannya dan dibarengi dengan surah perlindungan lainnya. Selain itu, terdapat macam bentuk pengamalan masyarakat Mandar terhadap al-Muawwizatain, yaitu: ada yang mengamalkannya sebagai do’a atau pelindung yang meliputi dibaca setelah salat fardu, dibaca setiap pagi dan petang, dan dibaca sebelum tidur. Adapula yang mengamalkan surah ini sebagai obat, dengan cara wirid dengan amalan surah al-Mu‘awwiżatain, dan upaya ruqyah sebagai jalan untuk meminta kesembuhan dari Allah swt dengan membaca surat-surat perlindungan termasuk al-Mu‘awwiżatain. mplikasi dari penelitian ini adalah: Terdapat berbagai bentuk upaya masyarakat Mandar terhadap pengamalan surah al-Mu‘awwiżataindalam merespon kejahatan sihir, sebagian besar dari mereka mengamalkan surah ini hanya setelah terkena kejahatan sihir, dan seharusnya masyarakat Mandar perlu mengamalkan surah al-Mu‘awwiżatainbaik itu sebelum maupun setelah terkena sihir
The Use of Card Sort to Improve Students’ Vocabulary at MTsN Parepare
This research aimed to know by using Card Sort can improve students’ vocabulary at students ofMTsN Parepare. Generally the use of media as teaching aid mainly aimed at increasing the teachingprocess to be more motivating and interesting. This research was conducted in MTsN Parepare.Researcher used quantitative study in the form of Pre – Experimental design with one group pre-testand post-test. There are independent variable and dependent variable. Random sampling is thetechnique to take the sample and VIII.5 is the samples which consist with 26 students. Theinstrument that used is test, observation and documentation. The result calculation of mean scorepre-test of students was 52.31 and mean score post- test of students was 65.57. The result of thisresearch showed there was significant different in statistical analysis where the statistical t-test (2.7)was higher than t-table (1,708) with degree freedom (df = N-1) 25. The researcher concluded the using of Card Sort is able to improve students’ vocabulary. From 15 questionnaires, thestudents answered very positive. Based on the Likert scale, the students were very positive inlearning English by using Card Sort. It means that the Card Sort media makes students have positiveresponse toward in learning vocabulary. The cumulative percentage on the fifteen items of the positive statements questionnaire was 96,62, while the cumulative score that they got from thequestionnaire was 1633. The researcher concluded the using of Card Sort is able to improve students’vocabulary at MTsN Parepare
The Correlation between Students’ Self-Confidence and Speaking Performance
The research aims to examine the correlation between students’ self-confidence and speaking performance in SMAN EX Palopo. The researcher implemented quantitative as the research design because the data in this research was correlation design. The sample of this research consist of students MIA 1, MIA 2, MIA 3. The researcher took five samples from each class. The researcher used the students score from spoken test to categorize as samples of this research. To collect the data, the researcher employed two kinds instrument, such as: Speaking Test and questioners. The result of correlation analysis shows that there is no correlation between students’ self-confidence and speaking performance in SMAN EX Palopo. It proofed from p-value (0.088) is higher than α (0.05). Therefore H0 is accepted and H1 is rejecte
WhatsApp in English Class: An Application of Blended Learning in Initiating Students' Interaction
This study investigated 1) The students' perception of group WhatsApp in the teaching and learning process, which is also well-known as blended learning, and; (2) The process of students' interaction in English via WhatsApp. Data were collected from 60 students of the English Education Department; 52 females and eight males; most are between 19 and 20 years old. The researcher deploys a survey, unstructured interview, and unstructured-descriptive observation. The data analysis revealed that most students responded positively to WhatsApp in blended learning, and only a few responded negatively. The level of students' participation in English interaction via WhatsApp is higher than they do face-to-face since they feel more confident in conveying their ideas via WhatsApp, especially to the lecturer.
The Implementation of Writing Assessment in Learning in SMA Negeri 5 Enrekang
The purpose of this study is to (1) explain the implementation of writing assessment procedures by English teachers at SMA Negeri 5 Enrekang in helping students learn to write and (2) discuss the challenges experienced by English teachers at SMA Negeri 5 Enrekang in conducting the assessments. A qualitative descriptive design was adopted in this investigation. The English teacher at SMA Negeri 5 Enrekang is the focus of this study, and the goal is to obtain an honest assessment of the English instructor. The observation method, interview method, and documentation method were utilized to collect data. Observation and documentation were used to gather data on the implementation of the authentic assessment by the English teacher at SMA Negeri 5 Enrekang, as well as observation and interviews to get data on the impediments to the implementation of the authentic assessment. The findings of this study show that the English teacher's evaluation in writing learning at SMA Negeri 5 Enrekang employs a test-and-non-test (portfolio and performance) strategy. This indicates that the evaluation was done correctly. Despite the fact that the evaluation was carried out honestly, it is not ideal due to obstacles in its execution. English teacher has number of challenges while conducting authentic assessments, including: (1) time management issues, (2) non-conducive classroom circumstances, (3) inadequate facilities and equipment, and (4) a lack of understanding of the assessment system in place. Because accurate evaluation is so difficult, it requires a delicate balance of judgment between knowledge and experience
The Use of ‘Tuning In’ Strategy To Stimulate the Autonomous Learning in Listening Skill
This study aimed to examine the students’ achievement in listening through the use of ‘Tuning In’ strategy by employing pre-experimental research method. The data collection instruments were listening test and questionnaire. The listening tests were given in the form of pre and post test to reveal whether or not ‘Tuning in’ strategy can improve the students’ achievement in listening. The questionnaire was given to identify the students’ autonomy in learning listening skill. There were 30 students randomly selected to participate in this study. The results revealed that the students’ listening ability taught by using ‘Tuning in’ strategy was increased. It is proved by the mean score of students’ post-test score 84.45 (good) while the mean score of the pre-test was 67.3 (fair). In addition, questionnaire indicates that the use of ‘Tuning in’ strategy can stimulate the students’ autonomous learning in listening

Pengaruh Pesan Nonverbal Ustadz Abdul Somad (UAS) Terhadap Peningkatan Pemahaman Agama Mahasiswa STAIN Majene
Salah satu tujuan utama dakwah adalah seefektif mungkin dengan mad’u. Hal tersebut dapat tercapai dengan adanya pemahaman mad’u mengenai isi ceramah. Salah satunya Ustadz Abdul Somad atau yang lebih dikenal dengan sebutan UAS merupakan seorang pendakwah dan ulama Indonesia yang sering menjelaskan kajian agama Islam, khususnya kajian terkait ilmu hadis dan ilmu fikih. Dengan memiliki ketrampilan dalam berbicara serta didukung dengan komunikasi nonverbal menjadikan UAS dikenal oleh berbagai kalangan masyarakat karena dakwah yang disampaikannya lugas dan mudah dipahami. Ceramah UAS tidak hanya disukai di kalangan orang tua saja melainkan juga banyak digandurungi dikalangan generasi muda sekarang khususnya mahasiswa. Pemaknaan Huruf-Huruf Muqat{t{a’ah dalam Al-Qur’an : (Telaah Penafsiran Maulana Muhammad Ali)
The response of the mufassir towards some muqatha'ah letters is just silence it without any attempt at interpretation. Meanwhile, Maulana Muhammad Ali is a twentieth century mufasir who interpreted the letters muqatha'ah by using several poems and sya'ir as references, but also had a view of his own. Therefore, it is interesting to trace Maulana Muhammad Ali's interpretation of the letters muqatha'ah / as well as the Ahmadiyah ideology inherent in Maulana Ali. The type of this research is a research library that examines written polemic about muqatha'ah letters. This study uses an interpretive approach that describes Maulana Muhammad Ali's interpretation of the muqatha'ah letters in his book. Also shows the dynamics of the meaning of the muqatha'ah letters from various tafsir books. The meaning of الم is defined as "I, Allah, Who Knows All". ا I, ل Allah, and م who is all-knowing. This interpretation is one of Maulana Muhammad Ali's interpretations of the Muqatha'ah letters
Pengaruh Marji' Dhamir Terhadap Penentuan Hukum: (Study Nahwu Fiqhi pada Tiga Dhamir di Surah al-Baqarah)
Ilmu bahasa khususnya nahwu sangat berperan penting dalam memahami teks wahyu, yaitu Al-Quran dan Hadist, sehingga orang yang tidak memiliki bekal ilmu bahasa yang mumpuni haram baginya untuk seenaknya menginterpretasikan teks wahyu serta mengistinbatkan hukum dari teks wahyu, sebab teks wahyu menggunakan bahasa arab. Perbedaan kata, huruf bahkan harakat sangat mempengaruhi makna, sehingga dari perbedaan makna akan lahir perbedaan hukum. Tulisan ini membahas tentang Analisa pengembalian dhamir pada tiga ayat ahkam di surah Al-Baqarah. Pengembalian dhamir pada ayat ahkam berperang penting terhadap penentuan makna, penentuan makna ini akan berimplikasi kepada penentuan hukum, bahkan bisa jadi ulama berbeda pandangan secar asignifikan berdasarkan dengan penentuan dhamir, bisa jadi seorang ulama berpendapat wajib pada satu ayat, namun menurut ulama lain itu sunnah.
