Bibliometric Analysis of Cultural Event Publications (2001-2023)
Scholars from all around the world are paying more and more attention to cultural event studies as evidenced in several academic publication databases. The existing studies are mainly based on empirical studies using surveys and interviews, and some are based on conceptual papers. However, bibliometric analysis of cultural events has been largely neglected. This study uses a bibliometric analysis approach to get an overview of the landscape, development, and trends of cultural event studies. In addition to that, a bibliometric analysis also enables the researcher to identify prominent authors, institutions, and countries that actively participated in the cultural event studies. This study also aimed at establishing a series of visualization maps using VOSviewer software that displays the links between authors, institutions, and keyword occurrences. A total of 3,578 scientific documents relating to cultural events in various forms were retrieved from the Elsevier Scopus database. Using this database, the bibliometric analysis has been able to identify some prominent authors in this field, the most productive institutions, frequent keywords, top funders, and so on. In conclusion, this paper also provides some key information for future researchers in identifying important research gaps by examining the keyword occurrences relating to cultural events

The Impact of Eco-Friendly Perceptions on Festival Attendees’ Decision-Making
People are becoming increasingly concerned with environment as the society becomes more environmentally conscious and this is on a global basis. Festivalgoers are now very much concerned about the environmental impact of the events they go to, a consumer behavior shift. As a result of that, festival organizers are taking this into account when developing their strategies for future festivals. This research examines the influence of eco-friendly perceptions on the decision-making process among festival visitors. The study used an extended version of the planned behavior model which takes into account attitudes, subjective norms, anticipated positive emotions, expected negative emotions, and perceived behavioral control concerning decision-making. This correlation study focuses on attitudes towards attending eco-friendly events in terms of behavioral intention, subjective norms, positive anticipated emotion, negative anticipated emotion, and perceived behavioral control. 197 data sets were collected through convenience sampling of event management students at UiTM Puncak Alam via different online platforms were used for the analysis. The SPSS was used for the analysis of results through reliability tests, correlations, and regressions. The result indicated that there was a significant relationship between all the variables involved in participating in eco-friendly events. Four independent variables show a significant beta coefficient for subjective norm, positive anticipated emotion, negative anticipated emotions, and perceived behavioral control. Meanwhile, another independent variable, attitude does not significantly influence behavioral intentions. The limitations, recommendations, and implications of the study were suggested for future research

Technology Readiness and Users Satisfaction towards Self-Service Technology at Malaysian Airport
This study examines the relationship between four dimensions of Technology Readiness Index (TR) namely optimism, innovativeness, insecurity, discomfort, and the level of customer’s satisfaction towards the use of self-service technology (SSTs) at the airport. SSTs used by the airport operators or airlines at the terminal for check-in or when performing other transactions includes booking airline ticket online, kiosk check-in and mobile check-in. At the same time, this study also tries to look at whether there is any difference in technology readiness between different demographic groups of Malaysians. Survey questionnaires were distributed to passengers at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) and Low Cost Carrier Terminal (LCCT) in Sepang, Selangor, Malaysia. The result of the analysis shows that innovativeness and optimism have a positive relationship with customer satisfaction. There are also differences in technology readiness among different gender for innovativeness and insecurity index. The implication of the study suggests that Malaysia’s airport or airline providers should increase customer satisfaction especially by introducing new innovative technology at their premises. The findings may also help firms develop their strategy to further increase the customer’s satisfaction when using the self- service technology (SST) at airports in Malaysia
Factors Influencing Innovative Work Behavior among Academicians at Politeknik Tuanku Sultanah Bahiyah, Kulim, Kedah
Compared to any other field, the research on the Innovative Work Behaviour (IWB) among academicians has been a neglected area. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to investigate the determinant factors influencing IWB among academicians at Politeknik Tuanku Sultanah Bahiyah (PTSB). Social Exchange Theory (SET) was underpinned to determine the relationship between training, reward, knowledge sharing and IWB. Additionally, this study also included work engagement as a mediating variable in the relationship between training, reward, knowledge sharing and IWB. IWB can be defined as the intentional generation, promotion, and realization of new ideas within a work role, workgroup, or organization. It is important to analyze how these dimensions tend to influence the IWB. Data for this study was collected from 118 academicians at PTSB, Kulim, Kedah and the collected data was analyzed by using Smart-PLS. The findings revealed that two dimensions, which are training and knowledge sharing have a significant relationship with IWB whereas reward has an insignificant relationship with IWB. Furthermore, work engagement was found to be significant in mediating training and knowledge sharing, however, work engagement was found to be insignificant in mediating reward and IWB. As a result, it is suggested for institutions and the Ministry of Higher Education (MoHE) to appropriately apply relevant specific tactics to enhance those components as well as IWB. Future research is suggested to replicate this study to other institutions. Next, it is suggested to test other independent variables and mediating variables to deeply understand other determinants that influence IWB
Financial Literacy, Access to Digital Finance and Performance of Ugandan SMEs in Mbarara City
This study investigates the relationship between financial literacy and access to digital finance, and how these impact the performance of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Uganda. From a population of 4,776 SMEs in Mbarara City, the research uses a sample of 351 SMEs with a response rate of 99%, chosen based on the Krejcie and Morgan (1970) tables. To investigate the correlations between the variables, a cross-sectional design is used. The findings indicate a positive and significant relationship between financial literacy, access to digital finance and SME performance in Uganda. The regression analysis indicates that 45.7% of the variation in Ugandan SME performance can be explained by the combination of the effect of financial literacy and access to digital finance (adjusted R square = 0.457). This implies that the remaining 54.3% of the variation in SME performance was not taken into account in this study and is due to other factors. Given the significant amount of variation explained by these two variables, the study suggests that policymakers and stakeholders in Uganda's SME sector prioritize programs aimed at enhancing SMEs' financial literacy and access to digital finance. Additionally, the study recognizes the presence of other factors influencing SME performance, emphasizing the need for further research and attention in future planning
Factors Influencing Data Partiality in Artificial Intelligence
This study proposes a conceptual framework to investigate factors influencing the data partiality in Artificial Intelligence (AI). However, the academic research on data partiality focusing on AI is limited across the bibliographic database sources. This study aims to address the gaps by proposing a developed framework that integrates three factors: the AI algorithm, black data, and user revise terminology highlighted in the past literature. The AI algorithm refers to the issues on the training data as a dataset used in the tools, which stimulates the data partiality as the outcome retrieved by the user. The black data is influencing data partiality on the existence of unknown data. The user revise terminology represented on the keywords used by the user to search for information, which incorrect keywords with not specify will lead to the AI to give all related information as an output without filter. The framework asserts that these three elements directly affect the partiality of data in AI. A quantitative methodology will be used in this study to cover the collection of survey data from the community under the MDEC program called Global Online Workforce (GLOW). The framework contributes a theoretical understanding of AI algorithms, black data, and user-revised terminology that influence data partiality in AI. In future research, the framework can be extended to test the data partiality in AI tools used in information agencies, as these bodies govern the safeguards of the accuracy of the information
