    Adolescent Sexual Behavior In The Era Of The Industrial Revolution 4.0

    Background: The index of adolescent knowledge about reproductive health has increased. Ease of accessing information is an important point in increasing adolescent knowledge about reproductive health, but the use of social media without parental supervision can also lead to risky sexual behavior. In this study, the author aims to determine adolescent knowledge about reproductive health, access to social media as a source of information, and sexual behavior in adolescents in Klaten. Methods: The design in this study is a cross-sectional qualitative research. The population is adolescents aged 16-18 years in the Klaten Regency area. The sample in this study were 96 samples years by using non-probability method sampling count by lemeshow formula selected based on the inclusion and exclusion criteria through youth organizations. The instrument used was questionnaire consist of 4 indicators (usage of social media, source of health reproduction information, knowledge of health reproduction, sex behavior. After validity and reliability test, the questionnaire obtained 30 questions. Data  was collected online by using google forms. Analysis data procedure was using chi square and logistic regressionanalysis techniques. Results: The most respondents aged 18 years (48.60%), female gender (88.78%), accessed social media for 7-12 hours as much as 57.01%, all respondents accessed search engines and whatsapp, the majority of respondents received Information about reproductive health from the internet is 90.65%, 59.81% of respondents\u27 parents have a role in discussing reproductive health, 83.18% of respondents have good knowledge about reproductive health, 85.98 % respondents have risky sexual behavior. Conclusion: The role of parents and the duration of adolescents accessing social media has a significant relationship in adolescent sexual behavior

    Siamese Pumpkin Juice (Sechium Edule (Jacq.) Sw) To Decreased Blood Pressure Of Postpartum Mother\u27s Hypertension

    Background: Postpartum hypertension is Indonesia\u27s second-highest cause of maternal death. The abundant Siamese pumpkin, commonly consumed and containing potassium (167.1 mg) and flavonoids, has a role as an antihypertensive. The proper, easy, and correct dosage must be found to utilize postpartum maternal hypertension therapy. Methods: Quay\u27s experiment research, randomized pretest-posttest with control group design, consisted of 3 research groups, consisting of 2 intervention groups and 1 control group. Intervention I juiced 501.3 mg once daily plus antihypertensive drugs, Intervention II juiced 584,85 mg once daily plus antihypertensive drugs, and control consumed antihypertensive drugs. The sampling technique used total samples with a retrieval time of 1.5 months and obtained 16 respondents in each group. The intervention begins on the first to the fifth day of the puerperium. Bivariate analysis of systolic and diastolic blood pressure using Repeated Measure Anova. Results: The intervention group I significant decrease in systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure (p-value 0.000) and intervention group II significant decrease in systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure (p-value 0.000).  Conclusion: Formula Siamese pumpkin juice (584,85 mg) effectively decreased blood pressure in postpartum hypertension patients

    Factors That Affect Back Pain In Second And Third Trimester Pregnant Women

    Background: Back pain in pregnant women in the 2nd and 3rd trimesters, if not treated immediately, will greatly disturb the comfort of pregnant women and can cause complications such as moderate to severe anxiety due to pregnant women not being able to adapt to their back pain. Several factors are associated with the occurrence of back pain in pregnant women. This study aims to prove the factors that affect back pain in second and third trimester pregnant women. Methods: This research was a cross sectional design. The sample was 30 pregnant women in the 2nd and 3rd trimesters experiencing back pain determined by using the total population sampling technique with the following inclusion and exclusion criteria. Back pain felt by pregnant women was stated in filling out a questionnaire with a pain instrument, namely the Numeric Rating Scale. The data were analyzed by statistical Odds Ratio Test. Results: The result of data analysis between pregnancy back pain with several factors are as follows: the OR value of mother age factor was 0.464. The OR value of gestational age factor was 0.571. The occupation’s  OR value was 0.762. The parity’s OR value was 0.242. The religion’s OR value was 0.464. The OR value of gender was 1.000.  The OR value of history of lifting heavy objects was 1.833. The OR value of history of excessive bending was 13.000.  The yoga exercise’s OR value was 0.143. Conclusion: History of excessive bending has the greatest risk of back pain in pregnant women

    The Factors That Influence The Use Of Maternal And Child Health Books In Mothers

    Background: The MCH Book is a tool for the early detection of any disturbances or health problems for mothers and children. This book is important, but its use is not optimal. The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the factors that influence the use of maternal and child health books by mothers. Methods: This study uses an analytic observational design with a cross-sectional approach with a sampling technique using an accidental sampling technique with a sample of 78 people. Respondents were selected who met the age of 22–40 years, could read and write, and were willing to be respondents. This study used a research instrument in the form of a questionnaire and was measured using a scale. The data was analyzed by multiple linear regression tests using SPSS for Windows version 22. Results: Variable knowledge and attitudes together (simultaneously) have a significant effect on the utilization of MCH books. The results of the statistical test obtained p value = 0.021 on the knowledge variable, p = 0.000 on the attitude variable, where p < (0.05). Conclusion: There is a relationship between knowledge and attitudes of the millennial generation of pregnant women towards the use of MCH books at the Pacar Keling Health Center. It is hoped that millennial-generation pregnant women will not only seek information about health through social media/the internet but also by reading and understanding the contents of the MCH book

    Acupressure to Reduce Dysmenorrhea in Adolescent

    Background: Dysmenorrhea is uncomfort symptom which suffered by adolescents during menstruation period. Adolescents experienced with dysmenorrhea and this commonly primary. Dysmenorrhea affects almost half of all woman, and it is need the safe and effective pain management. One of non-medical treatment techniques is acupressure. The purpose of this study to analize the effect of acupressure to reduce dysmenorrhea in adolescents. Methods: The design was quantitative experiment with intervention group and control group for each 26 respondents. The acupoints are SP6, Li4, and PC6. Intervention group got acupressure for 2 days in early period with 30times massage for each accupoint twice a day. The pain was measured using visual analog scale (VAS) before and after intervention. Data analize using SPSS software. Results: The result showed diffreneces in pain severity after acupressure to intervention group with mean 2,43 and p value 0.027(p<0,005). Conclution: Acupressure at the SP6, Li4 and PC6 can reduce pain severity of dysmenorrhea in adolescents

    Quality Test And Determination Flavonoid Content of Crackers Shallot (Allium CepaL.) Peel Flour

    Background: Indonesia culinary tastes are obtained from a blend of various spices used, such as shallots (Allium cepa L.). However, the use of shallots (Allium cepa L.) was limited to its meat only, meanwhile the skin is not utilized. Shallot (Allium cepa L.) peel itself contains flavonoids, polyphenols, saponins, terpenoids and alkaloids. One of the utilization of shallot (Allium cepa L.) peel is by innovating it into flour to make crackers. The aims of this study were to determine the physical test and total flavonoids content of crackers from the skin of shallot (Allium cepa L.). Methods: This study used descriptive quantitative method. The observations of crackers quality was conducted in this study are in accordance with the parameters of crackers SNI 2973: 2011 and RSNI 2973: 2018, which include water content tests, acid insoluble ash content tests, organoleptic tests, hedonic tests, qualitative identification and quantitative analysis of flavonoids. Results: The average percentage of water content of crackers was 2%. The average percentage of insoluble acid ash content of crackers was 0.3%. The organoleptic crackers test results have a special shallots aroma, dark brown in color, and taste delicious. The hedonic test results showed respondents liked the aroma, color, and taste of crackers. Crackers from shallot (Allium cepa L.) peel flour contain positive flavonoid compounds. Conclusion: The determination of total flavonoids content in crackers shallot (Allium cepa L.) peel flour was conducted based on AlCl3 method with total flavonoids expressed in QE (Quercetin equivalent) at the maximum wavelength of 435 nm. The result showed that the average content of flavonoid total is 4,5591 mgQE/g extract

    Health Education Using MAGIS Booklet to Increasing Menstrual Hygiene Perception of Teenage Girls

    Menstrual hygiene is a component of individual hygiene in the form of maintaining health and hygiene of reproductive organs during menstruation. The perception that often arises in the community regarding menstrual hygiene is that the delivery of reproductive health information is inaccurate or incomplete, one of which is about the problem of menstrual hygiene. Booklet media is a method that challenges adolescents to learn because the messages are written using short, simple, concise sentences and packaged attractively. This research aims to determine the effect of health education with booklet to the menstrual hygiene perception of teenage girls. This research was quantitative with pre experimental design by using one-group pre-posttest design. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. The sample was 43 female students at SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Surakarta. The data collected with menstrual hygiene perception questionnaire and booklet “MAGIS (Menstrual Hygiene Sehat)”. The data analysis used Wilcoxon signed ranked test.  The average age of respondents is 12.67 years old, meanwhile, the average of menarche age is 11.60 years old. The average perception before being given menstrual hygiene health education was 21 respondents (48,8%).  Perception after being given menstrual hygiene health education in good category was as many as 42 respondents (97,6%). The result of data analysis showed z-5,696 and p = 0.000. The conclusion of this research shows that there is an effect of health education with the "MAGIS (Menstrual Hygiene Healthy)" booklet to the menstrual hygiene perception of teenage girls

    The Effect Of Endorphin Massage On Milk Production In Postpartum Mothers

    Background: Low milk production in the first few days after delivery becomes constraints in early breastfeeding. The purpose of this research is to find out effect of endorphin massage on milk production in postpartum mothers. Methods: Systematic review using the database: Google Scholar. The search results that meet the article  criteria between 2017-2021, having minimum 20 sample, using keywords “massage, endorphin, ASI” are then analyzed for articles. Results: From 17 article extracted, it showed that milk production can be improved by massage techniques such as endorphin massage. Conclusion: To increased breast milk, it is advisable for postpartum mothers using massage therapy such as endorphin massage

    Background: Vitamin A is one of the important nutrients that is fat-soluble and stored in the liver, cannot be made by the body so it must be met from the outside. Data from East Java Provincial Health Office note that the scope toddlers who received vitamin A capsules in 2019 reached 90.80% and has met the 2019 target of 90.8%. Meanwhile, the coverage of giving vitamin A capsules in Ngawi Regency is 75.9% of the target of 90.80% in 2019. The purpose of the study were to identify the characteristics of respondents based on age, education and occupation, to describe the mother\u27s knowledge about vitamin A capsules in toddlers, to describe the attitudes of mothers about vitamin A capsules to toddlers. Methods: Descriptive quantitative research methods with a survey approach. The sampling technique was total sampling with a sample size of 60 mothers with toddlers aged 6-59 months at the Posyandu I Kartoharjo Village, Ngawi in 2021. The data analysis technique used was descriptive statistics. Results: The characteristics of the respondents based on the majority age 21-35 years (73%), based on the education of the majority of High School (42%), based on the occupation of the majority of housewives (78%), the description of the mother\u27s knowledge about vitamin A capsules was mostly good (58 %), the majority of mothers\u27 attitudes about vitamin A capsules support (96%). Conclusion: The reseacrh measurement knowledge and attitudes of mothers about vitamin A capsules in toddlers during the covid-19 pandemic at the Posyandu I Kartoharjo Village, Ngawi is good. However, there is still knowledge and attitudes that are lacking and unsupportive, during the pandemic covid 19, it is hoped that efforts to increase the knowledge and attitudes of respondents about vitamin A

    Soaking Feet Hydrotherapy Using Warm Water to Improve Quality of Sleeping Among Pregnant Women

    Sleep is a basic need that must be fulfilled by humans. Sleep disorders often occur in pregnant women which has an impact on the quality of sleep. This study aims to identify the effect of soaking feet with warm water on the quality of sleep for pregnant women. This study used a quasi-experiment design with a nonequivalent control group design approach. The sampling technique used total sampling with 40 respondents who were in accordance with the eligible criteria. Interventions are given for 7 consecutive days. Measurement of sleep quality score using the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index questionnaire. The difference in sleep quality scores was analyzed by Mann Whitney test, and scores of each component were analyzed by using Wilcoxon test.The results of this study indicate the influence of soaking feet with warm water on sleep quality of respondents before and after the intervention (p = 0.007; α = 5%). From these results, it can be said that there was an increase in quality of sleep after soaking the feet with warm water. Hydrotherapy by soaking feet with warm water can be applied by pregnant women to improve sleep quality
