Autorski projekt One odlaze nastao je kao diplomska predstava Mateje Tustanovski i Ive Slavić, pod mentorstvom doc.art. Anice Tomić i sumentorstvom doc.art. Nadalje nas upoznaje s istraživačkim razvojem uloge koju igra u samom komadu. The authorial project "One odlaze" was created as the graduation performance of Mateja Tustanovski and Iva Slavić, under the mentorship of Assistant Professor Anica Tomić and comentorship of Assistant Professor Jelena Kovačić. The work on this performance is the practical part of the final exam for Iva Slavić, a student of the master's program in acting at the Academy of Arts and Culture in Osijek. In her thesis "Work on the role of Iva in the play One odlaze", Slavić touches on all the developmental phases. From the initial idea conceived between her and her colleague Tustanovski for writing their original piece, to the initial phase of writing the text and its gradual development towards the stage production of the play and the creation of the role. Here, Slavić presents her observations during the work on the text in a scientific-artistic manner, shares her thoughts, and experiences of her personal insights. She further introduces us to the research development of the role she plays in the performance. Additionally, this thesis includes numerous reflections on what acting is and what it could be. Slavić shares her personal methods used in creating the role and gives us a better understanding of her own preparation process for rehearsals and the exam itself. The practical part of this exam began in February 2024 and lasted until the exam on June 5th of the same year. The work on this graduation performance was unique and very intense, providing an opportunity for interesting, authentic, focused, and dedicated work on building the performance and the roles within it

This thesis paper follows and describes the work on the play Suburb, an original project that my colleague Laura Kolesarić and I created in a postdramatic encounter of theatrical expressions (movement and acting). While exploring the relationship between text and movement, we also dealt with the partnership dynamic and, ultimately, the existence and experience of friendships between men and women in the contemporary world, full of superficial relationships

In recent years, music therapy has become an increasingly popular method used as an intervention in the rehabilitation of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), conducted by professionally trained music therapists. Music is a more efficient medium for communication, self-expression, and interaction for children than other forms, since it facilitates comprehension and assimilation. However, before a claim on the effectiveness of these interventions can be made, additional high-quality studies consistently proving their efficacy for individuals with ASD are needed. This study observed the impact of music therapy on joint attention in three preschool-aged children with ASD. All three children participated in ten individual music therapy sessions held 1-2 times per week. Active music therapy was applied through techniques such as improvisation, performance, imitation, mirroring, etc., with careful adaptation of instrument choice and activities to each child. First, the results of the qualitative assessment conducted by a music therapy student were presented, with numerical values assigned and compared with the quantitative assessment by a rehabilitation specialist. Given the positive changes in both assessments, it can be said that music therapy can improve joint attention in children with ASD and that both quantitative and qualitative assessments are applicable for demonstrating this. In this study, qualitative descriptions detailed all moments of attention, what triggered it, and what interrupted it, while the quantitative assessment provided a visual and numerical representation of the progress toward set goals through therapy, i.e., the evaluation of the therapy. The qualitative music therapy assessment can additionally provide insights into certain elements not registered through standardized scales, such as changes in tempo, dynamics, instrument choice, manner of vocalization, movement, etc

    No full text
U kontekstu Gypsy Rose Blanchard, njezin slučaj pokazuje kako društvene mreže i parasocijalni odnosi mogu utjecati na percepciju i ponašanje ljudi. In this paper, social media and influencers are examined, focusing on how they play a crucial role in shaping public opinion and consumer habits today. Influencer marketing leverages the personal influence of well-known or influential individuals on social media to increase brand awareness and drive purchases. Parasocial relationships, developed as a concept describing one-sided, emotional connections between viewers and media figures, have been further amplified by the advent of social media. These relationships can be strong and enduring, allowing individuals to connect with media figures as though they were real friends or advisors. Accordingly, parasocial relationships can involve characters from various media, including social media personalities, TV series, and even video game characters. In the context of Gypsy Rose Blanchard, her case demonstrates how social media and parasocial relationships can impact people's perceptions and behavior. Gypsy Rose, who became known due to the tragic and controversial circumstances surrounding her case, has attracted significant media and public attention. Her case is closely followed, and her presence on social media has further enhanced her influence and visibility in the public discourse. After her release from prison, Gypsy Rose used social media to communicate with the public and the media, while parasocial relationships allowed fans to connect with her story on an emotional level. This paper describes how social media and influencers can shape and alter public perception, and how parasocial relationships can significantly affect how people understand and respond to media content

    Line and process in graphics

Autorica je tijekom procesa izrade istraživala pojmove pozitivne i negativne energije vizualizirajući navedene energije koristeći likovne elemente: liniju, točku i plohu. The final work titled "Line and Process in Printmaking" focuses on the concept of process in artistic work and explores different printmaking and drawing techniques. As a result of this process, a series of five works of different sizes was created. One of them is a drawing with ink on paper, while the others are prints made using various intaglio and relief printing techniques. Through the process, the author explored the ideas of positive and negative energy by visualizing them using artistic elements like line, dot, and surface. The goal of this approach was to reduce constant overthinking and instead fully engage in instinctive play with different mediums. The final visualization represents the release of material, invisible to the naked eye, that becomes visible on the paper surface through controlled or uncontrolled movements

Subjectivation of the personal imaginary space in the tonal drawing

Rad u sobi podsjeća me na inspirativan život i stvaralaštvo meksičke slikarice Fride Kahlo. Uz Fridu Kahlo inspirira me i stvaralaštvo hrvatskog umjetnika iz Osijeka Davora Vrankića. Oboje umjetnika u svom stvaralaštvu koriste brojne simbole poput životinja, ornamenata i draperije kroz koje možemo doživjeti susret s njihovom subjektivnom dimenzijom. In my final thesis, Subjectivization of Personal Imaginary Space in Tonal Drawing, I shape a series consisting of five tonal drawings through the motifs of imaginary spaces and personal symbols. The motifs in the drawings are personal symbols and imaginary spaces that emerged from reflections on childhood traumas. By immersing myself in new imaginary visual spaces, I process my own emotions towards liberation and confronting trauma. The recognizable motifs in the selected works are a girl, a butterfly, and flowers, while other motifs are more intuitive, such as swirling lines that form symbolic hints. The works feature atmospheric, bird's-eye, and geometric perspectives with dual viewpoints. I use pencil as a drawing technique, emphasizing surfaces and creating an illusion of height and depth through shading. During the creation of the works in my own room, I listened to audio recordings of natural sounds. Working in my room reminds me of the inspiring life and creativity of the Mexican painter Frida Kahlo. Alongside Frida Kahlo, I am also inspired by the work of Croatian artist from Osijek, Davor Vrankić. Both artists use numerous symbols in their creations, such as animals, ornaments, and drapery, through which we can experience encounters with their subjective dimension. In this thesis, I explore how personal subjectivization manifests in visual expression. Summarizing various theories has opened new possibilities for defining my own visual creativity. A significant contribution to this work was made by my time spent in nature, where I spend every free moment. Observing nature, I perceive the landscape as the most direct visualization of my relationship to the world as a stage and the ultimate boundary of human existence. This relationship is highly inspiring to me as it provides the necessary breadth and freedom in exploring visual expression and the drawing process itself. Keywords: subjectivity, symbol, tonal drawing, pencil, perspectiv

    No full text
This paper explores the significance of promoting the electronic music scene in media and the public with the aim of determining its potential for developing the tourism offer of the city of Osijek. Through a theoretical framework encompassing concepts and phenomena such as subcultures, electronic music and its scene, as well as the relationship between media and tourism, the paper analyzes how the electronic music scene can positively influence the development of tourism and identity. The goal of the paper is to determine whether the electronic music scene has the potential to enhance tourism in the city of Osijek and its surroundings, and to identify potential challenges and obstacles to this development. The research section of the paper employs methods such as a survey questionnaire and in-depth interviews. These methods collected data on the perceptions of target groups, as well as experts in marketing, the music industry, and tourism, regarding electronic music in general, its representation in the media, and its potential impact on tourism development, particularly in the Osijek area. The results of the survey and expert responses indicate that there is significant potential for electronic music as a cultural product, which, with proper promotion and support from the local community, could substantially contribute to Osijek's tourism identity. However, adequate support from the media and local authorities is still lacking, hindering its realization

    No full text
Diplomski rad „Obitelj kao brend - analiza utjecaja reality showa Keeping up with the Kardashians na razvoj brenda“ istražuje fenomen brendiranja obitelji Kardashian-Jenner putem njihovog reality showa „Keeping up with the Kardashians“ (KUWTK). Analiza podataka pokazuje da mlađe generacije češće prate show i kupuju proizvode povezane s obitelji Kardashian. This thesis, titled "Family as a Brand - Analysis of the Impact of the Reality Show Keeping up with the Kardashians on Brand Development," explores the phenomenon of branding the Kardashian-Jenner family through their reality show "Keeping up with the Kardashians" (KUWTK). The aim of the research is to understand how this reality show influences the perception and development of the Kardashian-Jenner family brand and how this influence manifests in consumer behavior. Through a theoretical overview of the branding concept, the thesis focuses on emotional and cultural branding, as well as digital branding, emphasizing the importance of brand presence on social media. The research was conducted using a survey questionnaire distributed via social media, and the sample included 130 respondents, mostly female and younger age groups. Data analysis shows that younger generations are more likely to watch the show and purchase products associated with the Kardashian family. Additionally, most respondents believe that the events in the show are scripted, which affects the perception of the brand's authenticity. The research results indicate a significant impact of KUWTK on the popularization of the Kardashian-Jenner brand, especially among the youth. The show not only promotes the family's products and services but also influences social norms and attitudes towards celebrity culture. An important conclusion of the research is that reality shows can be a powerful tool for branding and shaping public perception, and the Kardashian-Jenner family successfully uses this to maintain and expand their brand

Music, Movement and Dance Creativity in Working With Children With Development Disabilities

Pokret i ples pripadaju domeni neverbalne komunikacije, a mogu biti iznimno korisni u razvoju djece s teškoćama i uvelike im pomoći u pomicanju osobnih granica. According to previous research related to children with developmental difficulties, it is clear that such children are more involved in all the activities provided by teaching and school. They have an equal right to actively participate in all educational activities, just like other students, but with the individualization of content and teaching methods tailored to their abilities, capabilities, and preferences. Today, children have various opportunities to learn about music through different musical activities, music workshops, and similar. Music has become an integral part of everyday life, and because of its benefits for individuals and their functioning in society, quality music education should be equally accessible to everyone. Ingenuity is an activity that provides us with new and original products. In addition to originality, ingenuity also involves creativity, fluency, and flexibility. Through independent creative work, we encourage students to create something new and unique. The ingenuity through which we learn about and become familiar with music is called musical ingenuity. In musical ingenuity, we encourage children to express themselves creatively and independently through music. Musical ingenuity in children appears very early, so it is essential to properly guide, develop, and refine it over time. Along with musical ingenuity, we will also explore ingenuity through movement and dance. Movement and dance belong to the domain of non-verbal communication and can be extremely useful in the development of children with difficulties, significantly helping them to push personal boundaries. This thesis will present research aimed at examining teachers' opinions on musical ingenuity activities and ingenuity through movement and dance when working with students with developmental difficulties
