    Ludwig van Beethoven: Sonata nu. 7 in D- major, op. 10 nu. 3

    Ovaj završni rad bavi se analizom Sonate br. 7, op. 10 br. 3 u D-duru Ludwiga van Beethovena, jednog od najznačajnijih skladatelja prijelaza iz klasicizma u romantizam. Fokus je stavljen na formalnu strukturu, tematsku obradu i harmonijsku građu prvog i drugog stavka sonate. Posebna pažnja posvećena je interpretaciji i izvođačkim izazovima koje ovo djelo postavlja pred pijaniste. U prvom dijelu rada predstavljeni su povijesni kontekst i Beethovenovo stvaralaštvo u ranoj fazi, dok središnji dio donosi detaljnu analizu I. Stavka ( Presto ) i II. Stavka ( Largo e mesto ). Analizirani su glazbeni elementi poput forme, dinamike, modulacija i teksture, uz komentare relevantnih partitura i interpretativnih uputa. Zaključuje se da Sonata op. 10 br. 3 ne samo da prikazuje formalnu jasnoću i tehničku zahtjevnost, već i emocionalnu dubinu karakterističnu za Beethovenov stil. Djelo ostaje trajna inspiracija i izazov u pijanističkom repertoaru.This final thesis focuses on the analysis of Sonata No. 7, Op. 10 No. 3 in D major by Ludwig van Beethoven, one of the most important composers of the transition from Classicism to Romanticism. The work emphasizes the formal structure, thematic development, and harmonic framework of the first and second movements. Special attention is given to interpretation and the performance challenges the piece presents for pianists. The introductory section provides historical context and an overview of Beethoven’s early creative period, while the core of the paper presents a detailed analysis of the first movement (Presto) and second movement (Largo e mesto). Musical elements such as form, dynamics, modulations, and texture are discussed with reference to scores and interpretative guidance. The conclusion highlights the sonata’s formal clarity, technical demands, and expressive depth, making it a lasting inspiration and challenge within the piano repertoire

    Glazbeni instrumenti kroz povijest su prolazili kroz brojne promjene i prilagodbe, s ciljem postizanja optimalnog oblika i funkcionalnosti. Sličan razvojni put pratila je i tambura, koja se razvijala kroz četiri sustava, a suvremeni oblik zadržala je u zadnjem, Četveroglasnom A-E sustavu. Iako je tambura tijekom vremena pronašla svoje mjesto u svijetu klasične glazbe, jedan od značajnijih problema nedostatak je izvorne literature namijenjene interpretativnom i tehničkom usavršavanju glazbenika. Kako bi kompozicije sadržavale glazbenu kompleksnost, odnosno spoj interpretacije i virtuoznosti, važno je da ih oblikuje autor s dubinskim poznavanjem instrumenta. Kako bi glazbenik postigao razinu virtuoznosti, nužno je prethodno razviti određene tehničke sposobnosti. Tehničke vježbe usmjerene su na razvoj tehničkih sposobnosti sviranja, dok etide istovremeno razvijaju tehniku i interpretaciju. Cilj ovog rada je ponuditi praktične smjernice i vježbe koje će pomoći izvođačima u razvijanju tehničkih vještina.Musical instruments have undergone numerous changes and adaptations throughout history with the aim of achieving optimal form and functionality. The tambura has followed a similar developmental path, evolving through four tuning systems, with its modern form preserved in the latest four-string A-E system. Although the tambura has found its place in the world of classical music over time, a significant challenge remains the lack of original literature dedicated to the intepretative and technical development od musicians. In order for compositions to embody musical complexity, which is a combination of interpretation and virtuosity, it is important that they are created by an author with a deep understanding of the instrument. To achieve a level of virtuosity, a musician must first develop certain technical skills. Technical exercises are designed to develop the mechanical aspects of playing, whereas etudes integrate technical development with interpretative skills. The aim of this work is to provide practical guidelines and exercises that will assist performers in developing their technical abilities

    Ovaj se završni rad bavi problematikom primjene održivih praksi u industriji glazbenih događanja. Analizira se značajan negativan utjecaj koji veliki koncerti, festivali i turneje ostvaruju na okoliš, uključujući emisije stakleničkih plinova uslijed putovanja izvođača i publike, visoku potrošnju energije za ozvučenje, rasvjetu i efekte, te prekomjernu uporabu jednokratne plastike i stvaranje otpada. Rad ističe i analizira postojeće izazove i mogućnosti za implementaciju ekološki prihvatljivih rješenja unutar koncertne industrije. Posebna pozornost posvećena je percepciji organizatora i ulozi menadžmenta u planiranju i provedbi održivih postupaka. Analizira se kako strateške odluke, kao i manji organizacijski zahvati, mogu doprinijeti smanjenju negativnog ekološkog otiska. U radu su prikazani domaći primjeri dobre prakse, koji potvrđuju da održivi pristupi mogu biti izvedivi, učinkoviti i dugoročno isplativi. Cilj istraživanja jest podizanje svijesti o problematici onečišćenja okoliša povezanog s glazbenom industrijom te poticanje organizatora, izvođača i publike na primjenu alternativnih, održivih modela. Naglašava se važnost edukacije, suradnje i inovativnih rješenja kako bi glazbena događanja mogla postati primjer odgovornog poslovanja i doprinijeti globalnim naporima za očuvanje okoliša.This thesis addresses the application of sustainable practices within the music events industry. It examines the significant environmental impact of large-scale concerts, festivals, and tours, including greenhouse gas emissions resulting from artist and audience travel, high energy consumption for sound systems, lighting, and effects, as well as excessive use of singleuse plastics and waste generation. The paper highlights existing challenges and explores opportunities for implementing environmentally friendly solutions within the concert industry. Special attention is given to the perception of event organizers and the role of management in planning and implementing sustainable measures. The study analyzes how strategic decisions, as well as smaller organizational interventions, can contribute to reducing the negative ecological footprint. A domestic case study of good practice is presented, demonstrating that sustainable approaches are feasible, effective, and cost-efficient in the long term. The aim of this research is to raise awareness of the environmental pollution associated with the music industry and to encourage organizers, performers, and audiences to adopt alternative, sustainable models. The paper emphasizes the importance of education, collaboration, and innovation to ensure that music events can serve as examples of responsible business practices and contribute to global environmental protection efforts

Posebno se analizira drama Ćelava pjevačica s naglaskom na temu, strukturu predstave i ulogu jezika u predstavi. U praktičnom dijelu opisan je proces oblikovanja uloge Mary kroz zadatke, metode i izazove s kojima se glumac susreće u kazalištu. Rad povezuje teoriju i praksu te pokazuje kako glumačko stvaralaštvo funkcionira u ovom specifičnom kazališnom kontekstu

    Ovaj diplomski rad analitički pristupa oblikovanju uloge gđe Elisabeth Martin u drami Ćelava pjevačica Eugènea Ionesca, promatranoj kroz prizmu teorije i prakse teatra apsurda. U prvom, teorijskom dijelu rada obrađeni su biografski i estetski aspekti Ionescova opusa, temeljne odlike teatra apsurda te posebnosti dramskog jezika i dramaturške strukture Ćelave pjevačice. Takav okvir omogućuje uvid u filozofske i estetske premise koje oblikuju scenski izraz likova i dinamiku njihove međusobne interakcije. Praktični dio rada fokusiran je na detaljan opis procesa rada na ulozi gospođe Elisabeth Martin. Analiziraju se postupci oblikovanja karaktera, izvedbeni izazovi i strategije kojima se naglašava apsurdnost situacija i jezičnih obrazaca u Ionescovoj drami. Taj dio rada ilustrira kako teorijski principi teatra apsurda mogu biti preneseni u konkretan izvedbeni kontekst, omogućujući duboko razumijevanje i interpretaciju lika. Mentorica je rada prof. art. Anica Tomić, dok je sumentorica doc. art. Jelena Kovačić. Rad tako kombinira teorijsko promišljanje i praktično iskustvo izvedbe, pružajući cjelovitu perspektivu na proces stvaranja kazališne uloge unutar specifičnog konteksta teatra apsurda.This graduation thesis is devoted to the analysis and shaping of the role of Mrs. Elisabeth Martin in the play The Bald Singer by Eugène Ionesco, viewed through the prism of the theory and practice of the theater of the absurd. In the first, theoretical part of the paper, the biographical and aesthetic aspects of Ionesko's opus, the fundamental features of the theater of the absurd, and the peculiarities of the dramatic language and dramaturgical structure of The Bald Singer are discussed. This framework provides an insight into the philosophical and aesthetic premises that shape the stage expression of the characters and the dynamics of their mutual interaction. The practical part of the work is focused on a detailed description of the process of working on the role of Mrs. Elisabeth Martin. Character formation procedures, performance challenges and strategies that emphasize the absurdity of the situation and language patterns in Ionesco's drama are analyzed. This part of the paper illustrates how the theoretical principles of the theater of the absurd can be transferred to a concrete performance context, enabling a deep understanding and interpretation of the character. The work mentor is prof. art. Anica Tomić, while the co-mentor is assoc. art. Jelena Kovačić. The work thus combines theoretical reflection and practical performance experience, providing a holistic perspective on the process of creating a theatrical role within the specific context of absurdist theater

    The Effect of Music Therapy on Childhood Anxiety among School-age Children

    Ovaj pregledni rad temelji se na kritičkom prikazu šest kliničkih istraživanja. Fiziološki aspekti prikazuju dvosmjerni odnos stresa i anksioznosti te dvosmjerni odnos boli i anksioznosti. Neurološki aspekti dotiču dvije teorije: 'kontrole ulaza boli' i teoriju 'učinka glazbe na amigdalu'. Psihodinamički aspekti načelno su podijeljeni prema kliničkim opservacijama: a) anksioznost tijekom hospitalizacije, b) anksioznost tijekom medicinskog zahvata c) anksioznost prije kirurškog zahvata. Autori prve kliničke studije upućuju na opću korist interaktivne muzikoterapije s hospitaliziranom djecom na onkologiji/hematologiji na osnovi mjerenja ispitanika, iako rezultati roditelja ne potvrđuju poboljšanje raspoloženja djece školske dobi. Druga i treća studija zaključuju da istraživanja pokazuju pozitivan utjecaj muzikoterapije na psihološke i fiziološke parametre kod djeteta na najmanje četiri do osam sati te poboljšani HRQoL-a iz perspektive svih ispitanika. Autori četvrte i pete kliničke studije smatraju da istraživanja služe kao polazište za daljnja istraživanja odnosa između muzikoterapije, boli, tjeskobe i fiziologije u pedijatrijskoj populaciji jer su rezultati istraživanja nejasni i divergentni, ali su zato kvalitativni podaci pete studije osvijetlili načine na koje je muzikoterapija pomogla pacijentima. Šesta studija smatra kako rezultati pokazuju da prijeoperacijska muzikoterapija može pomoći u smanjenju anksioznosti kod djece i njihovih roditelja. Kroz svih šest studija ostaje nedefinirano jesu li uspješnije interaktivne ili receptivne intervencije muzikoterapije koje se bave anksioznošću.This review paper is based on a critical evaluation of six clinical research. The physiological aspects show a two-way relationship between stress and anxiety and between pain and anxiety. The neurological aspects touch upon 'the gate control theory of pain' and 'the effect of music on the amygdala'. The psychodynamic aspects are divided according to clinical observations: a) anxiety during hospitalization, b) anxiety during a medical procedure c) preoperative anxiety. The first clinical study points to general benefits of interactive music therapy for hospitalized pediatric cancer patients based on the evaluation of the subjects, although the parents results' do not confirm an improvement in the mood of school-aged children. The second and third study concludes that there is a positive impact of music therapy on the psychological and physiological parameters in children for at least four to eight hours and an improved HRQoL from the perspective of all subjects. The fourth and fifth study claims that this research serves as a starting point to further explore the relationship between music therapy, pain, anxiety and physiology in the pediatric population, because research results are unclear and divergent. The qualitative data of the fifth study present ways of how music therapy helped the patients. The sixth study states that preoperative music therapy can help reduce anxiety in children and their parents. Across all six studies, it remains undefined whether interactive or receptive music therapy interventions that address anxiety are more successful

    THE EFFECTS OF DANCE MOVEMENT THERAPY ON INDIVIDUALS WITH CEREBRAL PALSY

    U ovoj studiji slučaja opisani su učinci terapije pokretom i plesom provedeni s mladićem, koji boluje od cerebralne paralize i ima blage intelektualne teškoće. Cerebralna paraliza (CP) može se definirati kao grupa poremećaja pokreta i položaja uzrokovana defektom ili oštećenjem nezrelog mozga. (1) Očituje se neuromotornim poremećajem kontrole položaja i pokreta tijela, tonusa i refleksa već od dojenačke dobi (neurološki sindromi), često promjenjivim simptomima, ali redovito uz usporen razvoj motorike. (2) Odraslim osobama s cerebralnom paralizom često je potreban određen oblik podrške i pomoći kako bi mogli što kvalitetnije obavljati svakodnevne životne aktivnosti. Osobe s cerebralnom paralizom (CP) mogu imati različite popratne poteškoće osim motoričkih smetnji. Ovisno o težini i vrsti cerebralne paralize, poteškoće mogu varirati, ali neki od najčešćih izazova uključuju: epilepsiju, intelektualne smetnje, probleme s učenjem, poremećaj pažnje, probleme s govorom i jezikom, poteškoće u ishrani i gutanju, te smetnje vida i sluha. Često je onemogućen normalan fizički, psihički i socijalni razvoj i integracija u društvo, te osoba s cerebralnom paralizom ostaje zavisna od okoline. (Pospiš, 2000.) Američko udruženje plesnih terapeuta - ADTA definira plesnu terapiju kao primjenu pokreta i plesa u kreativnom procesu s ciljem poticanja emocionalne, kognitivne, socijalne i fizičke integracije pojedinca. Pregledom literature, dokazano je da ples i ritmička slušna stimulacija (RAS) mogu pozitivno utjecati na tjelesne funkcije, posebno u područjima povezanim s ravnotežom, hodom i hodanjem za osobe s cerebralnom paralizom. (Lopez-Ortiz i dr., 2018.) S obzirom na prethodno navedene integrativne terapijske učinke te da se terapija pokretom i plesom temelji na terapijskom korištenju pokreta i neverbalnih znakova u svojoj procjeni i intervenciji, Duarte Machado i dr. u svom radu navode veliki ukupni učinak plesnih intervencija na kognitivne, motoričke i socijalno-emocionalne rezultate kod osoba s cerebralnom paralizom. Ovaj rad temelji se na prikazu studije slučaja na primjeru mladića koji boluje od cerebralne paralize te se kreće uz pomoć invalidskih kolica. Provedeno je 30 seansi koje su se održavale jednom tjedno, u trajanju od 45 minuta, a pritom su se koristile različite tehnike terapije pokretom i plesom. Rezultati ove studije slučaja pokazali su pozitivan učinak terapije pokretom i plesom na izražavanje emocija, povećanje raspona kretanja, te poboljšanje samopoimanja i samopouzdanja kod mladića s cerebralnom paralizom.In this case study, the effects of dance movement therapy conducted with a young man diagnosed with cerebral palsy (CP) and mild intellectual disabilities are described. Cerebral palsy can be defined as a group of movement and posture disorders caused by damage or malformation of the developing brain. It is manifested as a neuromotor disorder involving impaired control of body posture and movement, as well as muscle tone and reflexes, beginning in infancy (neurological syndromes). The symptoms are often variable but consistently accompanied by delayed motor development. Adults with CP often require some form of support to perform daily activities with a greater quality of life. Individuals with CP may also experience various associated difficulties beyond motor impairments. Depending on the severity and type of cerebral palsy, these challenges may vary. Still, some of the most common include epilepsy, intellectual disabilities, learning challenges, attention disorders, speech and language impairments, feeding and swallowing problems, and visual and auditory impairments. Normal physical, psychological, and social development and integration into society are often hindered, and individuals with CP frequently remain dependent on their environment (Pospiš, 2000). The American Dance Therapy Association (ADTA) defines dance movement therapy as the psychotherapeutic use of movement to promote the emotional, cognitive, social, and physical integration of the individual. A review of the literature suggests that dance and rhythmic auditory stimulation (RAS) can have a positive impact on physical functioning, particularly in areas related to balance, gait and walking in individuals with CP (Lopez-Ortiz et al., 2018). Given these integrative therapeutic benefits and the fact that dance movement therapy is based on the therapeutic use of movement and nonverbal cues in assessment and intervention, Duarte Machado et al. highlight the significant overall effect of dance interventions on cognitive, motor and socio-emotional outcomes in individuals with cerebral palsy. This paper presents a case study of a young man with cerebral palsy who uses a wheelchair for mobility. A total of 30 sessions were conducted, once a week, each lasting 45 minutes and incorporating various dance movement therapy techniques. The results of this case study demonstrated positive effects of dance movement therapy on emotional expression, increased range of motion, and improved self-concept and self-confidence in a young man with cerebral palsy

    Cilj je istraživanja u priloženome radu uočiti kako brend Jägermeister Hrvatska koristi društvene mreže i oblikuje svoj identitet, pritom uvažavajući zakonske regulative o oglašavanju alkoholnih pića. Vidljivost na internetskim mrežama postala je ključan alat za povezivanje s potrošačima u suvremenom digitalnom okruženju u kojemu milijarde ljudi svakodnevno koriste društvene mreže, a kao primjer dobre prakse izdvojena je strategija brenda Jägermeister Hrvatska. Kvalitativnom analizom medijskog sadržaja objavljenog na Instagramu i Facebooku u razdoblju od 2021. do 2025. godine, posebice 2024. godine, u radu je poseban naglasak stavljen na analizu vizualnoga identiteta, način komunikacije i digitalnu prisutnost brenda, uključujući odabir komunikacijskih taktika, suradnju s brend ambasadorima, povezivanje mrežne i izvanmrežne aktivnosti te korištenje trendova poput mem marketinga. Dobiveni uvidi doprinose boljem razumijevanju uloge društvenih mreža u oblikovanju percepcije brenda i izgradnji odnosa s publikom.This thesis investigates how the brand Jägermeister Croatia uses social media to build its brand identity while following legal rules for alcohol advertising. In today’s digital world, where billions of people use social media daily, having a strong online presence is key to connecting with consumers. The study highlights Jägermeister Croatia’s strategy as a good example of effective digital brand management. Through a qualitative analysis of media content published on Instagram and Facebook between 2021 and 2025, with a focus on 2024, the study examines the brand’s visual identity, communication, and digital presence, including the selection of communication tactics, collaborations with brand ambassadors, integration of online and offline activities and the use of trends such as meme marketing. The findings contribute to a better understanding of the role of social media in shaping brand perception and building relationships with the audience

    Rad se bavi ponajprije menadžmentom i promocijom glazbenih festivala te nastoji obuhvatiti i opisati sve značajnije elemente koji čine kvalitetnu organizaciju festivala, od tehničkih do umjetničkih. Rad ujedno nudi sažetu povijesnu perspektivu glazbenih festivala u svijetu i na području bivše Jugoslavije te detaljniji osvrt na praksu i strategije stvaranja Međunarodnog etno jazz festivala u Karlovcu kao primarno kulturne manifestacije neprofitnog karaktera koja ima cilj prezentirati čuvene, ali i nove domaće jazz glazbenike te neka značajna i/ili zanimljiva inozemna imena (primjerice, Lidija Bajuk, Cinkuši, pokojni Boško Petrović, Ratko Zjača; od inozemnih: Ralph Towner, Renaud Garcia Fons, Marry Caughlan i mnogi drugi), a u kontinuitetu se održava već šesnaest godina, od 2007.-2022. godine. Autor teksta se kao idejni začetnik, organizator i umjetnički voditelj tog festivala detaljnije osvrće na vlastita iskustva organizacije istog te sagledava i procjenjuje njegov utjecaj na širu zajednicu.The paper deals primarily with the management and promotion of music festivals; it encompases and describes some od the most important elements that bring quality to its organization, from technical to artistic ones. The paper offers a brief historical perspective of the world music festivals and of music festivals in the theritory of ex Yugoslavia, as well as a more detailed reflection on the practices and strategies developed in the proces of creating the International ethno jazz festival in Karlovac, seen as a primarily cultural manifestation of non-profitable character, with the purpose to present well known and some new local and regional jazz musicians, as well as some interesting international names (f.i. Lidija Bajuk, Cinkuši, Boško Petrović, Ratko Zjača; some of the international musicians: Ralph Towner, Renaud Garcia Fons, Marry Caughlan and many others). The festival has been taking place continuously for sixteen years, from 2007-2022. As the initiator, organizator and artistic director of this festival, the author is reflecting on his own organizational experiences and is analysing and evaluating its impact on the wider community

    Ovaj rad istražuje značaj brendiranja u kontekstu glazbenih festivala te pokazuje kako brendiranje predstavlja ključ uspjeha i dugoročne održivosti ovakvih događaja. Polazeći od povijesti festivala i njihovih protukulturalnih korijena, rad analizira načine na koje su festivali postupno postali komercijalni projekti u kojima važnu ulogu imaju promocija, sponzorstva i medijska prava. Poseban naglasak stavljen je na sponzorstva kao oblik suradnje između organizatora i poduzeća, koja omogućuju financijsku stabilnost i širenje vidljivosti festivala, ali istodobno otvaraju pitanje komercijalizacije i gubitka izvorne autentičnosti. Kroz studije slučaja festivala Ultra Europe u Splitu i Tomorrowlanda u Belgiji prikazano je kako snažno brendiranje, inovativni marketinški pristupi i korištenje digitalnih tehnologija doprinose stvaranju globalnog identiteta festivala i privlačenju međunarodne publike. Rad naglašava i društveni aspekt festivala, poput stvaranja osjećaja zajedništva, ali i izazove povezane s lokalnom zajednicom i okolišem. Zaključuje se da je brendiranje ključni element u oblikovanju uspješne festivalske strategije jer festivali više nisu samo glazbeni događaji, nego i snažni globalni brendovi koji oblikuju kulturne i ekonomske procese.This paper explores the significance of branding in the context of music festivals and demonstrates how branding represents the key to success and long-term sustainability of such events. Starting from the historical and countercultural roots of festivals, the paper analyzes the ways in which they gradually evolved into commercial projects, where promotion, sponsorship, and media rights play a vital role. Special attention is given to sponsorships as a form of cooperation between organizers and companies, providing financial stability and increased visibility while raising concerns about commercialization and the loss of authenticity. Through case studies of Ultra Europe in Split and Tomorrowland in Belgium, the paper illustrates how strong branding, innovative marketing strategies, and the use of digital technologies contribute to building the global identity of festivals and attracting international audiences. The study also highlights the social dimension of festivals, such as fostering community and unity, while pointing out challenges related to local communities and environmental impact. The conclusion emphasizes that branding is a crucial element in creating a successful festival strategy, as festivals have become more than music events—they are powerful global brands shaping cultural and economic processes.
