Calidad de la información en medios digitales del Cantón Mejía: análisis comparativo del contenido de Iris Agencia de Noticias y UTV Canal 40.
Get PDFThe research project was born with the purpose of analyzing the news content produced by Iris Agencia de Noticias and UTV Canal 40, to find out which of these media outlets broadcast quality communication products through a comparative analysis of the publications on their Facebook pages, This is due to the fact that digital media have currently caused a new scenario, where the user is no longer only a receiver, but also a generator of content, and social networks are the main space for the dissemination or transmission of news.
In the present project, an exploitative investigation was applied with a mixed approach, linking qualitative and quantitative data, the study population were the publications of these media, using as a sample 75 and 58 informative contents of the Facebook pages of Iris Agencia de Noticias and UTV Canal 40 respectively, in addition, the bibliographic review, in-depth interview and non-participant observation were applied as research techniques, using a questionnaire and an analysis sheet as an instrument for data collection, which allowed us to conclude that these The media have some shortcomings in regards to the final product that is broadcast on their FanPage, also, the content presentation aspects in which they are failing when providing quality information to their followers were identified, finally verified certain basic indicators such as the use of sources, citations, writing, use of photographs, among other aspects in the development of their journalistic genres.El proyecto de investigación nace con la finalidad de analizar los contenidos informativos que producen Iris Agencia de Noticias y UTV Canal 40, para conocer cuál de estos medios emite productos comunicacionales de calidad a través de un análisis comparativo de las publicaciones en sus páginas de Facebook, esto debido a que actualmente los medios digitales han provocado un nuevo escenario, donde el usuario ya no solamente es receptor, sino también generador de contenido y las redes sociales son el espacio principal de difusión o transmisión de noticias.
En el presente proyecto se aplicó una investigación explotaría con un enfoque mixto, vinculando datos cualitativos y cuantitativos, la población de estudio fueron las publicaciones de estos medios de comunicación, utilizando como muestra 75 y 58 contenidos informativos de las páginas de Facebook de Iris Agencia de Noticias y UTV Canal 40 respectivamente, además, se aplicó la revisión bibliográfica, la entrevista a profundidad y la observación no participante como técnicas de investigación, utilizando un cuestionario y una ficha de análisis como instrumento para la recolección de datos, que permitieron concluir que estos medios de comunicación tienen algunas falencias en lo que respecta a el producto final que es emitido en sus FanPage, también, se identificaron los aspectos de presentación de contenido en los que están fallando al momento de brindar una información de calidad a sus seguidores, finalmente se verificó ciertos indicadores básicos como el uso de fuentes, citas, redacción, uso de fotografías, entre otros aspectos en el desarrollo de sus géneros periodísticos
Storytelling as a teaching strategy to improve english reading and writing skills at tenth grade “a” at Angamarca high school, 2022.
Get PDFThe main objective of this study work was to determine how the Storytelling strategy improves writing and reading skills in the English language, this research was carried out through quantitative and non-experimental research so that the level of the research was descriptive and exploratory. . During the period from March 2022 to May 2022, a pre-test and a post-test were applied to 26 tenth-year students of the Angamarca Educational Institution focused on writing and reading, these tests were based on the TALE exam on which served to evaluate the effectiveness of this strategy. During the classroom intervention, ten lesson plans were developed and used, as well as before and after the classroom instruction, analyzes of the collected data were performed. The design of the lesson plans focused on the three steps of the writing process: copying, dictation and spontaneous writing; also, in the three steps of the reading process: reading words, reading texts and reading comprehension.El objetivo principal de este trabajo de estudio fue determinar cómo la estrategia del Storytelling mejora las habilidades de escritura y lectura en el idioma Ingles, esta investigación se realizó mediante una investigación cuantitativa y no experimental de manera que el nivel de la investigación fue descriptiva y exploratoria. Durante el período de marzo del 2022 a mayo del 2022, se aplicó un pre-test y un post-test a 26 estudiantes de décimo año del Institución Educativa Angamarca centrados en la escritura y la lectura, estos test estuvieron basados en el examen TALE el cual sirvió para evaluar la eficacia de esta estrategia. Durante la intervención en el aula, se desarrollaron y utilizaron diez planes de clase, así mismo antes y después de la instrucción en el aula, se realizaron análisis de los datos recolectados. El diseño de los planes de clase se centró en los tres pasos del proceso de escritura: copiado, dictado y escritura espontánea; también, en los tres pasos del proceso de lectura: lectura de palabras, lectura de textos y comprensión lectora
Task-Based Learning model for improving reading proficiency
Get PDFThe objective of this applied study is to evaluate the effectiveness of the Task-Based Learning model in improving reading proficiency in English students in an online environment. The study began by determining the theoretical foundation where the characteristics of the proposed learning model were described in detail. Being of a quasi-experimental design, the study subjects were 36 A2 level students from the Language Center of the Instituto Superior Universitario Sucre in the city of Quito, who formed the experimental and control group through convenience sampling. The researcher applied ten reading lesson plans based on the Task Based Learning model with the experimental group, and the traditional teaching method with the control group.El presente estudio aplicado tiene como objetivo evaluar la efectividad del modelo de Aprendizaje Basado en Tareas en la mejora de la competencia lectora en estudiantes de Ingles en entorno en línea. El estudio inició determinando la fundamentación teórica donde se describieron en detalle las características del modelo de aprendizaje propuesto. Al ser de diseño cuasi-experimental, los sujetos de estudio fueron 36 estudiantes del nivel A2 del Centro de Idiomas del Instituto Superior Universitario Sucre de la ciudad de Quito, quienes conformaron el grupo experimental y de control mediante muestreo de conveniencia. The proposed methodology is focused on the selection of electronic equipment such as frequency inverter, PLC and HMI screen, which will serve for the construction of the automated system, as well as the corresponding calculations to determine the sizing of the control panel.En la presente propuesta tecnológica se presenta la automatización de una clasificadora de granos para disminuir el tiempo del proceso y la cantidad de impurezas en Proyecto de Granos Andinos de la Universidad Técnica de Cotopaxi para ello se repotenció y automatizó la máquina clasificadora que permite al usuario seleccionar el tamaño de granos de tres tipos diferentes grande, mediano y pequeño, las pruebas experimentales se realizaron para chochos, maíz y frejol. Get PDFIn the present thesis work, it provides a solution to the prediction of short-term electrical demand for block "B" of the Technical University of Cotopaxi based on the use of artificial neural networks, taking into account that said prediction has been a phenomenon capable of generating curiosity in human beings, however, to achieve a projection of a future event, a detailed data analysis is required to predict subsequent events, with a programming algorithm, with this idea and based on this premise the main objective of the investigation was to develop a computing tool capable of carrying out this activity from a database, which were compiled by means of a Fluke 435 network analyzer connected to the main distribution board in charge of feeding the loads of block "B" said equipment remained connected for a considerable period of time that includes the months of June, July, August, September, October, November and December of the year 2022, we proceeded to filter the data obtained to use only those that contain values of electricity consumption, the input variables were considered, which are: days, electrical energy (Wh), to elaborate the different case studies with different conditions with the purpose of reaching a successful model of the neural network.En el presente trabajo de tesis brinda una solución a la predicción de la demanda eléctrica a corto plazo para el bloque “B” de la Universidad Técnica de Cotopaxi basado en el uso de redes neuronales artificiales, teniendo en cuenta que dicha predicción ha sido un fenómeno capaz de generar curiosidad en los seres humanos, sin embargo, para lograr una proyección de un suceso futuro se requiere un detallado análisis de datos para lograr predecir eventos posteriores, con algoritmo de programación, con esta idea y en base a esta premisa el objetivo principal de la investigación fue desarrollar una herramienta computación capaz de realizar esta actividad a partir de una base de datos, los cuales fueron recopilados mediante un analizador de red Fluke 435 conectados al tablero de distribución principal encargado de alimentar a las cargas del bloque “B” dicho equipo se mantuvo conectado durante un periodo de tiempo considerable que comprende los meses de junio, julio, agosto, septiembre, octubre, noviembre y diciembre del año 2022, se procedió a realizar un filtrado de los datos obtenidos para utilizar únicamente los que contienen valores de consumo eléctrico, se plantearon las variables de entrada que son: días, energía eléctrica (Wh), para elaborar los diferentes casos de estudio con diversas condiciones con el propósito de alcanzar un acertado modelo de red neuronal

As a proposed solution to this problem, the study of the implementation of an inventory management system was carried out, using the ABC model, the economic order quantity model, with safety stock and probabilistic reorder point in order to avoid shortages and overloads in the stock, and in this way prevent loss of customers due to the delay of the service.El taller automotriz “Víctor Nuñez” se encuentra ubicado en la ciudad de Ambato y se dedica a la prestación de servicios de reparación y mantenimiento de todo tipo de vehículos ya sean de motores a diésel o de gasolina, en esta empresa específicamente en el área de bodega se identificó que los repuestos que son utilizados a la hora de realizar los servicios de mantenimiento, no han sido inventariados ni tampoco controlados, por lo cual dificulta su localización o en su debido caso que no estén disponibles debido a su inexistencia o que exista un exceso de repuestos en esta área, conllevando así una cierta demora en la entrega de los trabajos. Como propuesta de solución a esta problemática se realizó el estudio de implementación de un sistema de gestión de inventarios, mediante el modelo ABC, el modelo de cantidad económico de pedido, con stock de seguridad y punto de reorden probabilístico con el fin de evitar faltantes y sobrecargas en el stock, y de esta manera prevenir perdidas de clientes por la demora del servicio
