Based on this, we will deepen our discussion on the future collaboration between the Settaya district and Nagaoka Institute of Design （hereinafter NID）. The experiment is a challenge of upcycle prototyping by using abundant goods at Settaya area designed by NID students. And basic awareness survey among participants of citizen workshop at NID are conducted. Study on the price of nails seen in “Kinsei Osaka no bukka to risi”
Get PDFapplication/pdfThis article examined the items of “nails” described in “Kinse Osaka no Bukka to Risi” and revealed the following points.
In “Kinse Osaka no Bukka to Risi” , the price of Japanese nails “Kugi dai 5 sun” and “Kugi namil 4 sun ” in 50 years from 1830 to 1879 is described, and these correspond to the prices of the multiple nails described in “Kinsei-tingin-bukkasi-
siryo” . Therefore, it can be judged that the material of “Kinse Osaka no Bukka to Risi” is appropriate. The price of “Kugi dai 5 sun” and “Kugi namil 4 sun” described in “Kinse Osaka no Bukka to Risi” fluctuated differently from the rice price and price coefficient. These can be judged closely related to price fluctuations in the iron. The price of “Kugi dai 5 sun” and “Kugi namil 4 sun ” had fallen from around 1874 without being linked to fluctuations in iron prices. This decline can be attributed to the fact that cheap Japanese nails have been put on the market because of the use of imported iron as the material for Japanese nails.departmental bulletin pape
