Examination of support based on the experience of the leaders of the Hikikomori parents’ groups
Get PDFapplication/pdfThe purpose of this study is to reveal the process of experiences in which the leaders of a self-help group called Hikikomori parents’ groups discover the foundation of their roles and to obtain the suggestions regarding the supports to them. Particular attentions were paid to the cooperation with concerned organizations. A semistructured interview was conducted with six leaders of the parents’ groups operating in various regions and the interviews were analyzed using modified grounded theory approach. The process in which the leaders of the groups discover the foundation of their roles was one to find【support for acquiring compass】and【a sense of responsibility for social contributions】by acquiring《the irreplaceable assurance from practices》. Regarding the supports, it is needed to explore the possibility of the supports provided by specialist like advisors who promote 【support for acquiring compass】other than the supports necessary for running the groups such as those for the financial and specialized learning to manage the groups. In addition, depending on【a sense of responsibility for social contributions】, a suggestion was obtained in a way that the knowledge and know-hows acquired through the management of the groups are proactively requested to be utilized for enlightenment activities in ordinary societies, study supports to specialized staff members engaging in Hikikomori assistances, and other activities.本研究の目的は、セルフヘルプ・グループひきこもり親の会のリーダーが、自らの役割の基軸を見出すまでの体験のプロセスを明らかにするとともに、リーダーへの支援の示唆を得ることである。特に、関連機関との連携に注目した。各地で活動する親の会のリーダー6名に半構造化面接を実施し、修正版グラウンデッド・セオリー・アプローチを用いて分析した。会のリーダーが役割の基軸を見出していくプロセスは、≪実践からのゆるぎない確信≫を得ることによって、【羅針盤獲得の後押し】と【社会貢献への使命感】を見出していくプロセスであった。支援は、会を運営するための経済面や専門的な学習への支援など会を運営するために必要な支援の他に、【羅針盤獲得の後押し】を促進させるアドバイザー的な専門家の支援の可能性について探る必要がある。また、【社会貢献への使命感】に依拠して、会の運営で得た知見やノウハウを一般社会への啓発や、ひきこもり支援に携わる専門スタッフの学習支援などに積極的に協力依頼する方向への示唆が得られた。journal articl

Experiences and support desired by hikikomori supporters
Get PDFapplication/pdfThe purpose of the present study was to clarify the experiences and requests of hikikomori (social withdrawal) supporters and to examine the ideal state of hikikomori support. Semi-structured interviews were conducted for three hikikomori supporters and analyzed using a qualitative method (KJ method).
The results of the overall analysis revealed that a spatial arrangement consisting the following six symbol marks was shown regarding the experience and support required by hikikomori supporters: "Feeling of difficulty in living and being hurt of the person: Weakness of sociality and thinking that oneself is useless", "Empowerment by listening to the person or parents: sufficiency of the energy within the time that is appropriate for the person", "Adjustment of the relationship between the person and the parents: Transformation and synergistic effect of the person starting from mutual understanding and transformation of the parents", "Process of participation in society: Accumulation of social experiences accompanied by a sense of trouble and need of the person in whom motivation and confidence is developing", "Support that does not isolate the person and the parents: An environment where consultation is easy and collaboration with experts and support agencies", and "Support that does not isolate the supporters: Development of mutual support and the support environment of supporters".
In support for hikikomori, support aiming for social participation, and support that does not isolate the person, parents, or supporters is required.本研究の目的は、ひきこもり支援者の体験と求める支援について明らかにし、ひきこもり支援のあり方について考察することである。ひきこもり支援者３名を対象として、半構造化面接を行い、質的統合法（KJ法）を用いて分析した。
全体分析の結果、ひきこもり支援者の体験と求める支援について、【本人の生きづらさと傷つき感：社会性の乏しさと自分は駄目だという思い】、【本人や親への傾聴によるエンパワーメント：本人に見合った時間の中でのエネルギーの充足】、【本人と親との関係の調整：相互理解と親の変容からはじまる本人の変容と相乗効果】、【社会参加へのプロセス：意欲や自信をはぐくむ本人の困り感や必要性を伴った社会体験の積み重ね】、【本人や親を孤立させない支援：相談しやすい環境と専門家や支援機関による連携】、【支援者を孤立させない支援：支援者どうしの共助とサポート環境の整備】の６つのシンボルマークからなる空間配置が示された。
ひきこもり支援において、社会参加に向けた支援や、本人や親、支援者を孤立させない支援が求められる。journal articl
