Training needs of public health nurse instructors for the development of new-term public health nurses
application/pdfTo standardize the training of those in charge of teaching new-term public health nurses, a web-based survey was conducted among public health nurses in charge of teaching (hereinafter "instructors") who participated in the training of new-term public health nurses in Prefecture A. The survey items included five challenges associated with the education of new-term public health nurses (hereinafter "challenge") and what they regard on a daily basis (hereinafter "mindset"). "Challenge" was analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively, while "mindset" was analyzed qualitatively.
The number of respondents was 34 (82.9%). "Challenge" included workload and teaching system (64.6%), competence and teaching ability of instructors (58.7%), and matters related to OJT for newterm public health nurses (14.7%). Four categories of "mindset" were generated: coaching behavior and attitude of instructors, support for improvement of practical ability, building of organizational structure for newcomer training, and relationship/atmosphere building.
The instructors, while feeling challenged by the OJT system and their own competence, were inferred to try to understand and support new-term public health nurses. Instructor training is necessary to allow instructors to interact with new-term public health nurses with confidence, feel their own growth, and take teaching and structures in organizations into consideration.新任期保健師指導担当者研修の標準化に向け、A県新採用保健師研修に参加した指導担当保健師(以下「指導者」)を対象にWeb調査を実施した。調査項目は新任期保健師教育に係る課題5項目(以下「課題」)、日頃心がけていること(以下「心がけ」)等とした。「課題」は量的・質的に、「心がけ」は質的に分析した。
回答は34人(82.9%)。「課題」は業務量や指導体制(64.6%)、指導者の力量・指導力(58.7%)、新任期保健師OJTに関すること(14.7%)等であった。「心がけ」は4カテゴリ:指導者のコーチング行動や姿勢、実践力向上への支援、新人育成組織体制づくり、及び関係・雰囲気づくりが生成された。
指導者は、OJT体制と自身の力量に課題を感じつつも、新任期保健師の理解、支援的な指導に努めていることが推測された。指導者が新任期保健師と自信をもって関わり、指導者自身も成長を感じ、組織で指導する意識と体制も意識できる指導者研修が必要である。journal articl

Analysis of syllabi with subjects on disaster social work at welfare universities
application/pdfText mining was used to analyze syllabus information posted online, to determine the characteristics of education related to disaster social work taught at welfare universities. The result revealed that subjects on disaster social work aimed to teach about the unique conditions and characteristics of disasters using past largescale
disasters such as the Great East Japan Earthquake as material and to teach assistance skills based on social work expertise to help to resolve the daily challenges of survivors and community challenges that emerge during a disaster. Teaching methods included volunteering and other community activities, group work with other students, and independent, dialogue-based active learning such as giving presentations. This type of disaster social work education can create a virtuous cycle of Lecture subjects, practice subjects, practical training subjects, and may be helpful for developing social workers with strong practcial skills through reflective thinking.福祉系大学で取り組まれている災害ソーシャルワークに関する教育の特徴を明らかにするために、Web上で公開されているシラバスに記載されている内容をテキストマイニングにより分析した。その結果、災害ソーシャルワークに関する科目では、東日本大震災など大規模災害を題材として災害という特殊な状況と特性を理解し、災害時に顕在化する被災者の生活課題と地域課題に対するソーシャルワークの専門性に基づく援助技術の修得が目標となっていた。また、教授法として、ボランティアなどの地域活動や学生同士のグループワークやプレゼンテーションなど主体的・対話的に取り組むアクティブラーニングの手法が取り入れられていた。このような災害ソーシャルワークの教育を通じて、講義科目、演習科目、実習科目の好循環を生み出すことができ、内省的思考による実践力の高いソーシャルワーカーの人材育成に貢献できる可能性が示唆された。journal articl
Meanings and Descriptions in the “Dementia Railroad Accident Trial”
application/pdfThe purpose of this study is to draw out the social welfare meanings in the "Dementia Railroad Accident Trial" by analyzing articles and documents about the trial, and to examine the descriptions at issue in this trial. This study examines the organization of the defendant support network, the debate over the "socialization of risk," the relationship between the judiciary and the enforcement of the policy, and the discomfort of describing an accident caused by a dementia patient as an "assailant.” The organization of the defendant support network was deeply related to the philosophy of elderly welfare and mental health welfare administration. In addition, after the ruling from the Supreme Court, there was much discussion about the "socialization of risk.” Finally, I pointed out the inappropriateness of the descriptions of "assailant" and "wandering," which are strongly related to this court decision.本研究の目的は、「認知症鉄道事故裁判」についての論文や資料を分析することで、この裁判における社会福祉的含意を引き出すこと、および本裁判で問題になったいくつかの記述を検討することである。本研究では、被告支援ネットワークの形成、「リスクの社会化」をめぐる議論、司法と行政の関係、認知症患者が起こした事故を「加害」と記述することへの違和感を考察した。被告支援ネットワークの形成には高齢者福祉や精神保健福祉行政の理念が深く関係していた。また、最高裁判決後、「リスクの社会化」についての議論が盛んになされた。最後に、本裁判と強く関係する「加害」や「徘徊」という記述の不適切性を指摘した。journal articl
