Achievements and future challenges facing pre-graduation nursing skills training provided by online media
Get PDFapplication/pdfThis study aimed to assess the achievements of and identify the impediments to progress created by the Covid-19 pandemic to pre-graduation nursing skills training courses provided by online media. The training comprised self-study and individual practice using video teaching materials and a home prac-tice kit, simultaneous interactive online skills assessment using a Web meeting system, and online counseling by teachers. A post-training questionnaire was sent to all 64 students who had taken the course, of whom 45 consented to participate in the study. Our analysis of the questionnaire responses from these 45 students showed that the training had significantly improved their skill levels, identified the challenges they needed to address, and reduced their anxieties about finding work. The online training was effective because it enabled students to repeatedly practice using the teaching materials, promoted their awareness by group dynamics, and provided an opportunity to learn proactively. On the other hand, problems unique to remote online training were apparent: a sense of isolation and anxiety about not seeing people face to face, complicated camerawork, and limits on resources and places.COVID-19の影響をうけ、オンラインによる遠隔で実施した卒業前看護技術トレーニングの取り組みについて成果を検証し、改善に向けた課題を明らかにすることを目的とした。トレーニングは、動画教材と自宅練習キットを活用した自己学習・自己練習、Web会議システムを使用した同時双方向オンラインによる技術チェック、ならびに教員によるオンライン相談室により構成した。参加者のうち、研究協力の同意が得られた45名の事後アンケートを分析対象として評価を行なった。結果、トレーニング後の技術習得レベルは有意に向上し、参加者の自己課題の明確化、就職に向けた不安軽減につながっていた。教材を活用した反復練習、グループダイナミクスによる気づきの促進、参加者の主体的学習の機会となり効果的であった一方で、対面でないことの不安や孤独感、カメラワークの煩雑さや物品・場所の限界といった遠隔ならではの課題があった。journal articl

Characteristics of marital communication attitudes during the childrearing period, focusing on married couples raising children aged 18 months or 3 years
Get PDFapplication/pdfThis study aimed to identify the characteristics of attitudes to marital communication during the child-rearing period. We conducted a cross-sectional study using an anonymous self-administered questionnaire with parents whose children had undergone the nationally required health examinations at 18 months or 3 years. Questionnaire forms were distributed to 936 married couples, of which 116 were collected (response rate: 12.4%). We reviewed the factor structure of the Scale on Marital Communication Attitudes by Hirayama based on the data obtained from the questionnaire, and extracted three factors: close/sympathetic (α = 0.853), overbearing (α = 0.767), and avoidant (α = 0.671). We then compared attitudes to communication between husbands and wives based on the scores for the three factors.
The comparison showed that the wives had significantly higher scores for the‘ close/sympathetic’ factor than the husbands, and that the husbands had significantly higher scores for the‘ avoidant’ factor than the wives. Communication attitudes thus differed between the husbands and wives who were raising children: the wives tended to show close/sympathetic communication attitudes towards their husbands, whereas the husbands tended to show avoidant communication attitudes towards their wives.本研究は、育児期における夫婦間のコミュニケーション態度の様相を明らかにすることを目的とした。１歳６か月ならびに３歳児健康診査を受診した児の両親を対象に無記名自記式質問紙調査による横断的調査を行った。936組の夫婦に配布し、回収された116組の夫婦ペアデータ（回収率12.4%）をもとに平山らの夫婦間コミュニケーション態度尺度の因子構造を再考し、「接近・共感」(α=0.853)、「威圧」(α=0.767)、「回避」(α=0.671)の３因子を抽出した。抽出した３因子の態度得点によりコミュニケーション態度について夫婦間の比較を行った。
結果、相手へのコミュニケーション態度の比較では、「接近・共感」が妻の方が有意に高く、「回避」では夫の方が有意に高かった。育児期の夫婦において、夫と妻ではコミュニケーション態度は異なる。また、妻は夫に対して接近共感的コミュニケーション態度をとり、夫は妻に対して回避的コミュニケーション態度をとる傾向にあることが示唆された。journal articl
