Selllaatha Panam: Multiple Dimensions and Understandings of Life
It was with the rise of Dalit literature that people, events, culture and language, which had not been given importance until now, were recorded. These Dalit literary personalities also recorded the people and culture that they forgot to record. Although he is a Dalit man, in his fiction he has recorded Dalit women, children, puzzle painters, drummers along with their artistic and living environment in his novels and short stories. Tamilnadu Dalit legends, especially novels, are mostly his history, his family history, and a work that explains his status, while Imayam has objectively recorded the lives of personalities who are not important in Dalit legends. When he looks away like this, it becomes more observation than emotion. He has written a novel about the tragic feelings of a non-Dalit family. This novel published in 2018 won the Sahitya Academy Award for 2020. Revathi, who has completed her engineering studies and has a good work order in hand, is adamant that she will not marry anyone other than Ravi, a Burmese refugee who is inferior to her in terms of education, economics, family honor and caste. Therefore, the purpose of this article is to investigate the multiple dimensions and understandings of this novel

Apart from these, the place will be divided into Pankarkootam and Pankiyet Kootam. Alar and Ambal will be the subject of the two people's affair. It is at this time that the role of the friend becomes very necessary for the leader. Katuvichi's cues are more desirable to a friend than a leader. The aim is to know how this agaval daughter who tells the story was called in the ancient rituals and how her action before the madness becomes important
The Legends and History of the Javadi Hills People
Javadi Hills is the eastern chain of hills comprising Vellore district, Thiruvannamalai district, and Tirupattur district. The people living in these hills call themselves Malayalis. They have nothing to do with the Malayalis living in the state of Kerala. They live in the hills of Yelagiri Hill, Kolli Hills, Sitheri Hills, and Pachaimalai Hills in Tamil Nadu. But marriages happen between the people of these hill areas. They are the majority of the 37 tribes in Tamil Nadu. One hundred and four villages (184) in fourteen panchayats on this hill are the domains of this study. These Malayalis tell folktales as songs and stories. It can be seen that the custom of telling this as stories by men and songs by women can be seen. And they do not tell these stories all the time. It is noteworthy that they sing only during festivals or among researchers who conduct research on this community. Similarly, this review article explains that the songs narrating stories related to them are in circulation only among a few senior tribal people
A Biographical History of the Panars, Working Class People of Kurunthokai
All the languages that have appeared in the world are born after which it got better. But the truth is that our Tamil language was born better. Sangam Literature, Classical Literature, includes Patthuppaatu (Ten Idylls) and Etthutthokai (Eight Anthologies). Earth can be said to be fundamental in the reasons for a group's gradual cultural development. In such a case, in Kurunthokai, a part of Ettutthokai, the characteristics that are appropriate to Marutham land, a pretend love quarrel, and the association with the hustlers are found in Marutham thinai songs. This article examines how the Panars, who were considered by the society of that time to be lower class people and ignoble caste, were crushed for having participated greatly in doing their duties. Their cultural structure, which was based on caste, and their economic status were dependent on others forever. As a result, they lived in poverty and supplication. For the sake of material things, they were able to give material things to the Panars, who were the lower class people, to do the work they desired. The Panars were crushed on many levels. They were considered despicable and deserving of ridicule by all for doing lowly jobs and being instrumental in sorting out the issues in the love quarrel between the husband and wife. Despite their eloquence, intelligence, and sophisticated intellect, their society is said to be a casteless society, but this study has tried to explain the fact that the lower castes were secretly humiliated, the tasks given to them, the work they did, and the society that tried to develop by ignoring them
Andal Priyadarshini's the Position of Women in the Working Class
Singing songs about God, the king, and upper castes are mostly found in Tamil literature. The singing of working class people is rarely found in a few pieces of literature like Pallu (Agriculture Songs) and Kuravanchi. Modern literature gives complete freedom to sing about the working class. In it, Andal Priyadarshini has created modern literature such as poetry, short stories, novels, etc. In it, the creators have made the lower class people aware of their life status by singing and creating characters. Her works frequently depict hustlers, roadside dwellers, scavengers, cremators, and transgender women and girls. They are the members of society. Some are working people, who have every right to live here, and are economically backward. People have continued their lives at the bottom of society for centuries. Mere pity for the working class will not lift them up. If individual value, castelessness, labour value, and non-discrimination come together, then a society called the working class will disappear
Twin Epics in Thanthai Periyar's Perspective
The origin, development, and history of the Dravidian movement have a long tradition. Thanthai Periyar occupies a very important place in this history. A long list continues after him like Arignar Anna, Pavendher Bharathidasan, Kalaignar Karunanidhi. In the various works of the Dravidian movement, they have considered the literature and highlighted the pros and cons of it and how all the pro-religious ideas have infiltrated the Tamil society. Epics have a special place in the history of Tamil literature. There are many categories in them. In this regard, Silambam and Megalai are considered twin epics. Regarding these, various studies are happening from time to time. There are many differences between how other Tamil scholars view these examples and Periyar's view of these examples. In particular, the purpose of this article is to study how Thanthai Periyar's ideas have made people rational through twin epics. This article also conveys the idea that people should think about the benefit of reasoning and get rid of ignorance
Dravidian Ideology and Iyothee Thass
During his lifetime, Iyothee Thassa carried out many activities such as reservation, self-respect marriage, widow marriage, rationalism, anti-Brahmanism, abolition of superstition, Adi Dravidar schools, communal rights, abolition of caste, Tamil progress, Indian history from the point of view of Buddhism, etc. These efforts of his became a guide to leaders like Ambedkar, Periyar, etc. His ideas are the foundation, capital, and ideology of today's Dravidian movements. Since such issues continue even after his time, the later Dravidar Kazhagams have also absorbed the ideas of Iyothee Thassa and are still functioning as rational and Dravidian movements. This article aims to show that Iyothee Thass was the originator of the Dravidian movement principles.
Old Scriptural Monuments of Dravidam
In terms of language history, the Tamil literature in power today takes us to the second (a) third century AD, but the Dravidian words given by the Greek authors take us beyond the pre-Christian era. The oldest monuments of the Dravidian language are the vocabularies given by the Greek authors. The Dravidian languages have been excellent for two thousand years without any deterioration. All the words mentioned in this article must have been used in ancient times. Language is divided. After the arrival of the Aryans at the time when the Dravidian people started to live there, various languages were mixed in the Aryan period which is their common possession today. This article makes it clear that all the words are there
Mahakavi Bharathi, The Forerunner of the National Education Policy
According to Bharathi's educational ideas, everyone can get an equal status in society through education. He lays down the curriculum to include basic writing, mathematics, history, geography, astronomy, religious-based education, economic education, inquiry-based science, political science, handcraft industry, agriculture, business, physical education, and field trips. He insists that mother tongue education is the best for education. He wants to develop the necessary vocabulary for science subjects. Female education is essential for national liberation. Education should be given to women as equal to men. He says that only then will there be equality. Industry, agriculture, commerce, and many other professions should be taught during education and uplift the community it belongs to. It will also help to uplift this country. As a sign of education, he advises empathy for simplicity, anger for smallness, and making those lower in status equal to him. Education about nationality, legal education, and physical education should be made compulsory. Education should be an expression of students' self-reflection. Bharathiyar has expressed all the above as educational thoughts through his poetry, essays, letters, journals, and lectures. The aim of this article is to show that Bharathi's educational ideas were the forerunners of today's national education policy
Feminist Thoughts in Bharathiyar Poetry
Human society is a society where men and women live together. During the barbaric period, women were given more and more equal rights. That society was called the matriarchal society. Women were worshipped as mother goddesses. Women are worshipped as goddesses in literature, and are referred to as the Goddess of Victory and Suli. In Sangam literature, women were poets and knowledgeable enough to act as messengers. But the woman who was worshipped as Adishakthi was suppressed, oppressed, and disenfranchised in mediaeval times. The policy of not teaching women who do cooking was strengthened, and education was denied. There is no difference between men and women except in physical appearance. But they were included in the list of those who needed to be protected. It was Bharathiyar who appeared as the dawn of women's renaissance at that time. He wanted women to be well-dressed and presentable. A woman is naturally very knowledgeable. But some fools spoiled her knowledge. Women should be educated and their knowledge should be expanded. Bharathiyar wanted women to rule and make laws. He said chastity should be common to both men and women. A woman's power lies in her willpower. Society will prosper only if we realise the power of women and treat them as fellow human beings and give them equal rights. Where women are treated with due respect, society thrives
