Exploring Business Language Practices of Small Traders in Tamil Nadu
Business language is a specialized form of communication utilized within the commercial and economic sectors. It encompasses expressions and terminology pertinent to economic processes, transactions, and commercial activities, with the primary goal of attracting and convincing customers through language. There is a separate field to study the business language is Business Linguistics. It is a discipline that examines how language operates within a business environment. It delves into the utilization of linguistic resources in business endeavors and analyzes both verbal and non-verbal elements of business communication. In summary, business language is tailored for the economic and commercial realms, incorporating specific phrases and terminology. Particularly street vendors can use a practical and engaging language style that combines attention-grabbing openers, product highlights, local expressions, and clear calls to action. This research examines how business language helps vendors effectively communicate with customers, create a sense of urgency, and build rapport, all of which are crucial for successful street vending. More over this research is based on fieldwork conducted in various locations across Tamil Nadu. It involves firsthand observation, direct interaction with vendors and shopkeepers, as well as the collection of physical and environmental data
Vaishnava Temples in the Scriptures of Thirumangaiyazhwar
Thiruvillipputtur, Periyazhavar temple’s gopuram is a symbol of Tamil Nadu, a state where Saivism and Vaishnavism flourished. Vaishnava temples chanted by the twelve Aalwars are called Divya Desams and the temples chanted by the Thirumuraigal are called Thirumurai Thalangal. Total there are 108 temples in Divya Desam. Of these there are 46 temples in the Chola country. Tirumangai Alwar sang many songs about such sanctuaries. He is notable among the twelve Alwars. In this article titled "Vaishnava Temples in the Scriptures of Tirumangaiyazhwar", is said about the visit of Thirumangaiyazhwar to the shrines, and the fact that he saw the three three devotees in the temple and fell in love with them in devotional ecstasy and sang heartily about devotees and about the shrines. Tharman's short story “Sogavanam” shows that the birds that nest in trees and stay in tree trunks and roam around happily are greatly affected by the urbanization. He has created a sad forest with his writings and mentioned about the noisy environment due to the increase in traffic and the change in the food styles of the birds. In practical life, all those who have blood relations and live in the same house are called "family". Folk songs help us to learn about the characteristics of such families, their development, and the relationships involved in them.
