    Literature is composed based on the theme of the natural environment. Literature expresses the nature of environment either explicitly or implicitly. It remains as a constant canon from the Sangam literature to the contemporary literature. Thus, there are many records in the literature about the natural food chain system and the effects of human production methods on their balance. Literary genre novel also records all these things. After India's independence, the Indian government focused on conserving natural resources and maximizing its productivity.  Its influences are reflected in modern literature. In the drive to maximize productivity, little attention has been paid in protecting the natural environment.     Simile has been well developed in Thinai literature. Metaphor is considered to be the best tool next to simile. Simile always equates the two things, whereas metaphor unites the two. When the songs of Thinai literature deals with metaphor the ideas, the ability to express and the ideology of the poet varies. Before Sangam literature metaphor doesn’t play an important role. Even in ‘Tholkapiyam’ a famous Tamil text, metaphor is not singled out. Though the metaphor has emerged before Sangam literature, they are contradicted by the opinions of many people. Thus, the complete development of metaphor takes place only in Sangam literature. This article explains how metaphor is handled in the songs of Thinai literature and shows how famous the songs are because of the presence of metaphor. When the passages are written in metaphorical form its nature. Application and method of interpretation are well examined. The poet’s handling of the battle scenes in metaphorical form is also explained in this article. When the natural scenes are literalized the pattern of metaphor is seen.     Pillaitamil is one of the 96 genres of Tamil literature.  Pillaikavi literature doesn’t originate in foreign language. Pillaitamil literature praises the Lord or the great human being as a child in the seasons such as Pavatu, Sengirai, Sappani, Muttham, Alakham, Ambuli, Chittil, Siruparai, Siruthaer, Ammanai, Osal, Neeradal etc.  The purpose of this article is to approach such genre of Pillaitamil literature from a psychological point of view.  Literature is a creation of the mind. Thus, the psychological elements found in literature are categorized as creator, creative method, storyteller and reader.  In these ways, creative psychology is revealed in Pillaitamil literature.  It is highlighted that the mood of the creator who sings Pillaitamil is in three stages namely motherhood, childhood and as a young girl.  This article explains the mood of the mother in the seasons like the period of Kaapu, Ambuli and Thala, the psychology of the girl in the season of childhood, the movement behaviours of children in other seasons, the seasons like sengir are the impulses that the mother causes to her children
