Enjottu woman in a feminist perspective
This world was created by both men and women. The act of perceiving and knowing the world is still performed through the language of men. Women have been losing their identities throughout human history. Women are the equal partners in the movement of life. Both men and women are equal in all areas of life. But there is a lot of suffering and injustice faced by women. Feminism is the act of exposing such female-oriented thoughts and problems. Feminism is also the act of trying to change the inferiority of women. Feelings such as suppressing and oppressing women occur in society and the workplace. The steps taken to change this situation are called ‘feminism’. Among the poets of this time, Tamizhachi Thangapandian is the one who has embodied feminist thoughts in many places in her work. It should be noted that all the feminist categories mentioned in feminist criticism are included in the poetry collection ‘Enjottu Pen’. This research article aims to examine how she has recorded feminist ideas such as women's inner struggle, feminist problems, and oppression through her work in the poetry collection 'Enjotup Pen'

The 10th Parliamentary Election of Sri Lanka in 2024 : An analysis on its results
Elections are the core aspect in selecting representatives of peoples in a country. In this sense, presidential election and the parliamentary election are the two key elections in Sri Lanka. In the last presidential election of the country, Anura Kumara Dissanayake of National People's Power party (NPP) was elected as the president and he dissolved the Parliament on 14th of September 2024 based on the power vested to him as the president. Hence the 10th parliamentary election was held on 14th of November 2024. In this election, NPP gained the victory with overwhelming majority. In parliamentary elections of Sri Lanka, it is the first time after 1977, a single party, NPP, won the election with 2/3 majority. Meanwhile, the popular parties like New Democratic Front (NDF), Samagi Jana Balavehaya (SJB), Sri Lanka Pothujana Peramuna (SLPP) and United National Party (UNP) found major decline in this election. NPP as a single party gained 159 seats in the election and became the ruling party in the Parliament, and Sajith Premadasa led SJB gained 40 seats and became the opposition party in the Parliament. NPP gained 59% of votes and SJB got 24% of votes in the election. Whereas other ethnic political parties did not get results as previous elections and marked their decline in this election. Moreover, women representation had also increased in the Parliament by this election. The overwhelming victory of NPP ad a single party was caused by the economic crisis of the country and the related issues of previous government. This study is based on secondary data to the analysis
Kannagi's travel journal - Journeys, Paths, Records
Travelogue is one of the important literary genre in all literatures of the world. It is a relatively recent genre in Indian literature, emerging in the second half of the nineteenth century. Travelogue is the outcome of the travel experience which is opposed to the imagined descriptions in fictional narratives. There is no single term that fully describes the complexities and diversity of travel writing. The vast majority of travelogues are written in prose. The majority of people identify travel writing with stories about strange places or characters. Though everything published in this format may be considered a voyage, it is not Travelogue. Aatruppadai, Yathirai, Selavu, Payanam, and Prayanam are examples of travel-themed literary terms that span the Sangam to modern eras in Tamil literature. Kaṇṇakiyār aṭiccuvaṭṭil is a notable travelogue in Tamil. It is noteworthy that this book was written through field research. The author of this book is C. Govindarasanar. His travelogues feature a distinct language style and fictitious language that demands its own study
Mullaithinai chastity in Sangam literature
The basis for the five departments is contained in the primary department. Mullaithina songs are sung in association with the chastity of the heroine. In the cover page, there is a place where the leader’s praises are mentioned, his valor and gift, and ‘husband of a barren wife’ is added. It can also be seen that ‘imaginary’ has been emphasized to the woman when she realizes that through marriage, women are denied economic equality and sexual freedom. It can be seen that the opinions of feminist commentators and the songs of Mullaith Thani reinforce this opinion. We seek to find such a record in Tamil literature, which had the ambitious aim of emphasizing chastity at a time when caste civilization was changing from caste civilization to landed civilization. A strong doctrine of chastity is enforced in Mullaith Thani. In a possessive culture, the woman also becomes a conquered possession. That is, there is no one-to-one control in ethnic group civilization. and the formation of the family system due to the emergence of individual property in the possessive culture, and this is why so many definitions and epithets have been given about chastity. This review seeks to explain that. This research is also subjected to the search to emphasize that the attempt to strengthen the chastity with the selected person during the period of the emergence of separate property from this social system can be seen in Sangha songs
Role of Root Words in Analytical Etymology
It is a fact that the Tamil words spoken by the people are not grammatical. Because the grammar of a hundred years ago was different. The letters used that day were different, but that was also considered correct. With the change of time, one by one, it has grown step by step and today Tamil grammar has come to a perfect place. Analytical etymology is in prime use in language. In order to train the words systematically grammatically appropriately, the root words have been given as a curriculum in the teaching-learning of analytical anatogram. This is because the first part of the classification of words is the denominator. The most important thing for that part is the root words
