    The Hard Science Spoken Word List (Dang, 2018)

    A Hard Science Spoken Word List (HSWL) was developed and validated to help second language learners of hard sciences better comprehend academic speech at English-medium universities. It consists of the 1,595 most frequent and wide ranging word families in a 6.5-million running word hard science spoken corpus which represents 12 subjects across two equally-sized sub-corpora. Its coverage in different discourse types indicates that the HSWL truly reflects the language in hard science academic speech. The comparison between the HSWL with Dang, Coxhead, and Webb’s (2017) Academic Spoken Word List shows that the HSWL focuses more on specialized vocabulary in hard science speech. Depending on their vocabulary levels, learners may achieve 93%–96% coverage of hard science academic speech with knowledge of the HSWL words. Souce: Dang, T. N. Y. (2018).     This project provided direct evidence that averaging within-person variability is a viable underlying mechanism for face familiarization, using a training paradigm that involves incidental learning of targets interspersed among distractors. We also showed that attractiveness ratings for targets become increasingly consistent as viewers gain familiarity, introducing the consistency in social ratings as an implicit measure of familiarity

    PENGARUH ESG DAN CSR TERHADAP KINERJA KEUANGAN

    This study aims to analyze the effect of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) and CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) on financial performance, measured through Return On Asset (ROA) and Return On Equity (ROE) for companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The sample used in this study consists of three companies that consistently implemented ESG principles from 2019 to 2023. The research method employed is quantitative, with data analysis conducted using EViews 13. The analysis results show that ESG disclosure does not have a significant effect on ROA, with a probability value of 0.2811 (greater than 0.05). On the other hand, CSR has a significant effect on ROE with a probability value of 0.0349 (less than 0.05). Further testing of the interaction between ESG and CSR indicates that both do not have a significant effect on ROA, with values of X1 at 0.1058 and X2 at 0.1977 (greater than 0.05). In conclusion, while CSR influences financial performance in terms of ROE, the disclosure of ESG and CSR together does not have a significant impact on ROA.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) dan CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) terhadap kinerja keuangan yang diukur melalui Return On Asset (ROA) dan Return On Equity (ROE) pada perusahaan-perusahaan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tiga perusahaan yang secara konsisten menerapkan prinsip ESG dalam periode 2019 hingga 2023. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan analisis data menggunakan EViews 13. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa pengungkapan ESG tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap ROA, dengan nilai probability sebesar 0.2811 (lebih besar dari 0,05). Di sisi lain, CSR terbukti berpengaruh signifikan terhadap ROE dengan nilai probability sebesar 0.0349 (lebih kecil dari 0,05). Pengujian lebih lanjut terhadap interaksi ESG dan CSR menunjukkan bahwa keduanya tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap ROA, dengan nilai X1 sebesar 0.1058 dan X2 sebesar 0.1977 (lebih besar dari 0,05). Kesimpulannya, meskipun CSR mempengaruhi kinerja keuangan dalam hal ROE, pengungkapan ESG dan CSR secara bersama-sama tidak memberikan dampak signifikan terhadap ROA

    This study examines the impact of interpersonal communication on teamwork success through a systematic literature review (SLR) of 15 scientific articles from 2020-2025. The results show that interpersonal communication is very important in building trust, reducing conflict, increasing cohesion, and strengthening team collaboration. With effective communication, team performance increases significantly. This study concludes that interpersonal communication is a strategic aspect in human resource management that supports the achievement of organizational goals through optimal teamwork.Penelitian ini mengkaji dampak komunikasi interpersonal terhadap keberhasilan kerja tim melalui tinjauan literatur sistematis (SLR) dari 15 artikel ilmiah tahun 2020-2025. Hasil menunjukkan komunikasi antarpribadi sangat penting dalam membangun kepercayaan, mengurangi konflik, meningkatkan kohesi, dan memperkuat kolaborasi tim. Dengan komunikasi yang efektif, performa tim meningkat secara signifikan. Studi ini menyimpulkan bahwa komunikasi interpersonal adalah aspek strategis dalam manajemen sumber daya manusia yang mendukung pencapaian tujuan organisasi melalui kerja tim yang optimal

    Effective business governance requires active involvement from all stakeholders. In the context of Angka Sembilan Coffee, the roles of owners, employees, and customers are key factors in supporting operational sustainability. The owner acts as the strategic guide and leader who aligns the business vision with daily implementation. Employees play an important role in providing services, maintaining quality, and contributing to innovation. Customers, in addition to being consumers, also serve as a source of feedback and a channel for promotion through digital interactions. This study adopts a qualitative approach using a case study method to understand the relationships between these three parties through in-depth interviews and observations. The analysis results indicate that collaboration between the owner, employees, and customers creates a governance system that is participatory, adaptive, and responsive to market dynamics. These findings strengthen the application of stakeholder theory in managing MSMEs that prioritize values and the involvement of all related parties.Tata kelola usaha yang efektif memerlukan keterlibatan aktif dari seluruh pemangku kepentingan. Dalam konteks Angka Sembilan Coffee, peran pemilik, karyawan, dan pelanggan menjadi kunci utama dalam mendukung keberlanjutan operasional. Pemilik bertindak sebagai pengarah strategi dan pemimpin yang menyelaraskan visi bisnis dengan implementasi sehari-hari. Karyawan memainkan peran penting dalam memberikan layanan, menjaga kualitas, dan berkontribusi dalam inovasi. Pelanggan, selain sebagai konsumen, juga berfungsi sebagai sumber umpan balik serta saluran promosi melalui interaksi digital. Penelitian ini mengadopsi pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus untuk memahami hubungan antara ketiga pihak tersebut melalui wawancara dan observasi mendalam. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa kolaborasi antara pemilik, karyawan, dan pelanggan membentuk sistem tata kelola yang bersifat partisipatif, adaptif, dan responsif terhadap perubahan pasar. Temuan ini memperkuat penerapan teori pemangku kepentingan dalam pengelolaan UMKM yang mengedepankan nilai dan keterlibatan seluruh pihak terkai

    Bibliometric Analysis of Audit Quality Using VOSviewer: A Study of Publications from 2020 to 2023

    This study aims to analyze the development of audit quality research from 2020 to 2023 using bibliometric analysis and VOSviewer. The research focuses on identifying publication trends, country contributions, and institutional productivity and citations. A quantitative descriptive method was applied, using Scopus data retrieved via Publish or Perish with the keyword “audit quality.” VOSviewer was used to visualize keyword clusters and research gaps. The results show that 2023 had the highest number of publications (288 articles), with the United States leading in total documents (315). Indonesia published 64 articles during the same period, but no institution exceeded three publications. Keyword mapping revealed six clusters, with underexplored topics such as audit report lag and non-audit service. These findings suggest future research opportunities in less-studied areas of audit quality, especially in emerging economies

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi peran kreativitas dan kolaborasi pada strategi rantai pasok (supply chain) Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) dalam menghadapi tantangan pasar modern serta membangun keberlanjutan bisnis. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif, yang diperoleh dari hasil wawancara dan observasi lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kreativitas UMKM tercermin dalam inovasi produk, strategi pengemasan, dan promosi yang adaptif, sementara kolaborasi dengan pemasok dan pelanggan berperan penting dalam meningkatkan efisiensi dan ketahanan rantai pasok. Meskipun sebagian besar UMKM telah mengadopsi teknologi pembayaran digital, pemanfaatan teknologi untuk manajemen internal supply chain masih terbatas. Selain itu, pemahaman keberlanjutan masih dominan pada aspek ekonomi, sementara dimensi sosial dan lingkungan belum menjadi prioritas utama. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa integrasi kreativitas dan kolaborasi dapat menjadi strategi kunci untuk memperkuat daya saing UMKM secara berkelanjutan, dan merekomendasikan perlunya dukungan ekosistem, pelatihan digital, serta fasilitasi kolaborasi strategis untuk mengoptimalkan implementasinya

    This research focuses on the process of social integration and cultural acculturation between the people of Medan and the Sundanese people in the city of Bandung. By applying a descriptive qualitative method using Alcutation Theory, the data collection process is carried out through direct observation to understand the dynamics of social interaction, semi-structured interviews to gain in-depth insights from participants, and literature studies that serve as the basis for strengthening the theory and context of research. This research aims to describe how the people of Medan adapt to Sundanese culture while maintaining their cultural identity. The acculturation process between Medan and Sundanese cultures also enriches the cultural diversity in the city of Bandung, creating a harmonious relationship in the midst of a multiethnic society.Penelitian ini berfokus pada proses integrasi sosial dan akulturasi budaya antara masyarakat Medan dan masyarakat Sunda di Kota Bandung. Dengan menerapkan metode kualitatif deskriptif menggunakan Teori Alkuturasi, proses pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi langsung untuk memahami dinamika interaksi sosial, wawancara semi-terstruktur untuk memperoleh wawasan mendalam dari partisipan, dan studi literatur yang berfungsi sebagai dasar penguatan teori dan konteks penelitian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan bagaimana masyarakat Medan beradaptasi dengan budaya Sunda sambil mempertahankan identitas budaya mereka.     This research aims to see how the campaign strategy on Wongkito.co online media in packaging messages on news channels as a response to the issue of gender equality. This type of qualitative research is descriptive in nature. The subject of the research is the editor-in-chief of Wongkito.co online media. The data used are primary and secondary data. Data collection techniques in this research are observation and interview. The results showed that Wongkito.co online media, as one of the feminist media in Palembang, took part in advocating the theme of gender justice and equality through various rubrics, such as Yundakito, Setara, Katokito, and Bucukito. In practice, Wongkito.co conducts campaigns with the aim of raising the issues of women, children, people with disabilities, minorities, and other vulnerable people. When creating a digital campaign program, there are four steps that must be taken, the problem identification stage, campaign design, campaign implementation, and evaluation. However, Wongkito.co has not implemented the evaluation stage, but only implemented three stages
