Pemberdayaan Desa Melalui Pelatihan Edugame Wordwall: Meningkatkan Literasi Digital, Keterampilan Sosial, dan Ekspresi Emosi Anak Usia Dini [Village Empowerment Through Edugame Wordwall Training: Enhancing Digital Literacy, Social Skills, and Emotional Expression in Early Childhood]
Abstract. This activity is motivated by the low digital literacy of educators in the village, which has resulted in suboptimal development of social skills and emotional expression in early childhood. The implementation of Wordwall was chosen because it supports creative and enjoyable learning in the digital era. This community service aims to improve the skills of early childhood education (PAUD) teachers in Jabaran Village in utilizing the Wordwall platform as an interactive digital-based learning medium. The method uses a participatory approach with three stages: needs identification through surveys and interviews, conducting theory and practical Wordwall training over three days, and evaluating the impact on teaching practices. The training participants consisted of PAUD teachers in Jabaran Village who actively engaged in all stages. Data were collected through observation, questionnaires, and interviews, then analyzed descriptively and qualitatively. The results showed a significant increase in teachers' understanding and skills in using Wordwall, from 30% previously to 95%. Children showed increased active engagement in class, with participation and positive response indicators rising by more than 40%. Teachers became more innovative and confident in developing game-based learning media. This training proved effective in reducing the digital gap and supporting children's social-emotional development. The activity demonstrated that digital training based on edugames can be an effective strategy for empowering village communities, especially in early childhood education. It is hoped that this program will serve as a model for developing similar training in other villages as an effort to support equitable access to education in the digital era. Abstrak. Kegiatan ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya literasi digital pendidik di desa yang berdampak pada kurang optimalnya pengembangan keterampilan sosial dan ekspresi emosi anak usia dini. Penerapan Wordwall dipilih karena mampu mendukung pembelajaran yang kreatif dan menyenangkan di era digital. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan keterampilan guru PAUD di Desa Jabaran dalam memanfaatkan platform Wordwall sebagai media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis digital.Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif dengan tiga tahapan: identifikasi kebutuhan melalui survei dan wawancara, pelaksanaan pelatihan teori dan praktik Wordwall selama tiga hari, serta evaluasi dampak terhadap praktik pengajaran. Peserta pelatihan terdiri dari guru-guru PAUD di Desa Jabaran yang secara aktif terlibat dalam semua tahapan. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, angket, dan wawancara, lalu dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada pemahaman dan keterampilan guru dalam menggunakan Wordwall, dari sebelumnya 30% menjadi 95%. Anak-anak menunjukkan peningkatan keterlibatan aktif di kelas, dengan indikator partisipasi dan respons positif meningkat lebih dari 40%. Guru menjadi lebih inovatif dan percaya diri dalam mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis permainan. Pelatihan ini terbukti efektif dalam mengurangi kesenjangan digital serta mendukung perkembangan sosial-emosional anak. Kegiatan ini membuktikan bahwa pelatihan digital berbasis edugame dapat menjadi strategi efektif dalam pemberdayaan masyarakat desa, khususnya di bidang pendidikan anak usia dini. Diharapkan program ini menjadi model bagi pengembangan pelatihan serupa di desa lain sebagai upaya mendukung pemerataan akses pendidikan di era digital
Sahabat Lansia: Metode Storytelling untuk Mengurangi Perasaan Kesepian yang Dialami Lansia di Panti Jompo Budi Agung
Lansia yang tinggal di panti jompo rentan mengalami kesepian akibat keterbatasan interaksi sosial dan minimnya aktivitas bermakna. Intervensi ini bertujuan untuk mengurangi perasaan kesepian pada lansia melalui intervensi psikososial menggunakan metode storytelling. Intervensi dilakukan selama tiga hari kepada empat lansia perempuan di Panti Jompo Budi Agung, dengan enam sesi yang dirancang untuk menggali pengalaman hidup, nilai, dan harapan mereka. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa storytelling efektif menciptakan ruang ekspresi emosional, memperkuat relasi sosial, dan meningkatkan makna hidup lansia. Lansia menunjukkan perubahan positif pada aspek afektif, perilaku, dan kognitif, seperti meningkatnya rasa bahagia, keterbukaan dalam berinteraksi, dan kesadaran akan keberhargaan diri. Pendekatan ini selaras dengan teori psikososial Erikson serta teori pembelajaran sosial Bandura. Storytelling terbukti sebagai strategi intervensi yang mampu mengurangi kesepian dan meningkatkan kesejahteraan psikologis lansia di panti jompo.
Empowering Paud Teachers Through Montage Activities to Enhance Children’s Motor and Language Skills
This community engagement program was designed to enhance the pedagogical skills of early childhood educators by introducing montage-based learning as an innovative method to support children's fine motor and language development. The program was implemented at a rural early childhood education center in Pasuruan, Indonesia, where a significant number of children exhibited limited motor and verbal abilities, and teachers had not previously applied montage as a structured learning and evaluation tool. The program involved a series of activities, including needs assessment, training workshops, guided classroom implementation, and evaluation using a custom-designed assessment rubric. The results showed significant improvements in both teacher competence and student engagement. Teachers demonstrated increased confidence and creativity in planning and conducting montage activities, while children displayed better coordination and expressive language skills during and after the intervention. The developed rubric was found to be effective in capturing children's developmental progress in a structured manner. Overall, the program successfully empowered educators to integrate art-based methods into their teaching strategies, resulting in a more engaging and developmentally supportive learning environment. This approach holds promise for broader application in other early childhood education contexts to address similar pedagogical challenges
Pentingnya Literasi dan Aksi Wakaf untuk Peningkatan Ekonomi Masyarakat Desa Karangrejo Kediri (The Importance of Literacy and Waqf Action for Economic Improvement in the Villages of Karangrejo, Kediri)
ABSTRAKWakaf adalah menyerahkan harta kepada nadzir dengan tujuan dapat diambil manfaatnya oleh banyak orang. Literasi wakaf di Indonesia tergolong rendah. Masyarakat banyak yang belum memahami wakaf itu sendiri. Beberapa diantaranya hanya mengenal wakaf seperti wakaf untuk madrasah, masjid dan makam, dimana bentuk wakaf tersebut merupakan wakaf benda tidak bergerak. Pemahan yang seperti itu menjadikan mindset bahwa wakaf hanya bisa dilakukan oleh orang kaya saja, padahal harta benda wakaf bermacam-macam dan bisa dilakukan oleh siapapun termasuk non-muslim sekalipun. Metode yang digunakan untuk menambah literasi kepada masyarakat adalah dengan memberikan edukasi, sosialisasi dan pemahaman secara mendalam tentang wakaf saat ini, bahwa wakaf bisa dengan harta bergerak seperti uang atau melalui uang dan menjadi wakaf produktif. Hasil dari wakaf produktif atau wakaf uang lebih efektif dan dapat digunakan untuk peningkatan ekonomi pada UMKM di masyarakat sekitar. Setelah literasi wakaf diberikan diharapkan masyarakat mengetahui manfaatnya dan dapat mengimplementasikan wakaf agar dapat berjalan dengan baik dan bisa menjadi salah satu jalan dalam meningkatkan ekonomi masyarakat desa. Pelaku UMKM Desa Karangrejo Kediri bisa memanfaatkan wakaf ini lebih baik lagi dengan bekerjasama antara tokoh masyarakat atau pimpinan desa dengan lembaga wakaf yang sudah ada, atau pimpinan desa dan tokoh agama membentuk lembaga dan mendaftarkan menjadi nadzir wakaf. Abstract. Waqf involves the dedication of property to a trustee with the aim of benefiting many people. Waqf literacy in Indonesia is relatively low, with many members of the community lacking an understanding of waqf itself. Some only recognize waqf in the context of madrasahs, mosques, and graves, where such forms represent immovable waqf property. This understanding fosters the mindset that waqf can only be performed by wealthy individuals, whereas waqf assets can vary and can be established by anyone, including non-Muslims. The method used to enhance literacy within the community involves providing education, socialization, and in-depth understanding of waqf today, emphasizing that waqf can also involve movable assets such as money, thereby becoming productive waqf. The outcomes of productive waqf or cash waqf are more effective and can be utilized to improve the economy of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the surrounding community. After waqf literacy is provided, it is expected that the community will recognize its benefits and be able to implement waqf effectively, serving as a pathway to enhance the economic conditions of the village community. SMEs in Karangrejo, Kediri can better leverage waqf by collaborating with community leaders or village heads and existing waqf institutions, or by having village leaders and religious figures establish an institution and register as waqf trustees
Navigating Emerging Adulthood: The Role of Religious Coping in Promoting Flourishing Among Indonesian University Students
This study examined the relationship between positive and negative religious coping and flourishing, conceptualized through the PERMA model of subjective well-being, among Indonesian university students in emerging adulthood. Emerging adulthood (ages 18–25) is a developmental stage marked by identity exploration and emotional transitions, making religious coping a potential protective factor for psychological flourishing. A total of 278 participants completed online questionnaires assessing religious coping and well-being. Data were analyzed using Spearman’s rho and partial correlation controlling for age, gender, and education. Results showed a significant positive association between positive religious coping and well-being (ρ = .284, p .001, 95% CI [0.16, 0.39]) and a weak negative association for negative religious coping (ρ = –.101, p = .033, 95% CI [–0.22, 0.02]). Effect sizes were small (R² = .08 and R² = .01), and post-hoc power analysis indicated adequate statistical power (1–β = .99). The strongest link was observed in the meaning dimension, underscoring spirituality’s central role in constructing purpose and acceptance. Although the effects were modest, the findings highlight that positive religious coping contributes to flourishing within Indonesia’s collectivist and religious culture, serving as a psychological resource that supports meaning-making and emotional well-being during the transition to adulthood
Optimism and Hope: The Psychological Foundation for Building Grit in Islamic Boarding School Students
The high dropout rate in Islamic boarding schools in Indonesia poses a significant educational challenge. Many adolescents lose interest in continuing their education at boarding schools, resulting in many of them dropping out. Increased grit is believed to have a significant impact on the academic success of adolescents in these schools. This study examines the influence of optimism and hope on grit in adolescents attending Islamic boarding schools. The study uses a quantitative ex-post facto approach, involving 367 teenagers selected through multistage random sampling. Data were collected using the Short Grit Scale (Grit-S), an optimism scale, and the Dispositional Adult Hope Scale, and analyzed using multiple regression with SPSS Version 27. The results showed that optimism and hope together have a positive and significant effect on grit (p 0.05). Partially, optimism acts as a positive belief in future outcomes that encourages students to view challenges as opportunities, while hope provides clarity of purpose and the ability to devise alternative strategies to overcome obstacles. These findings confirm that the synergy between optimism and hope forms a psychological foundation that strengthens students' resilience amid academic and spiritual demands in the dormitory
Penggunaan Slack Dalam Kolaborasi Dan Komunikasi Organisasi Siswa Intra Sekolah (OSIS) di SMK PGRI Sukodadi Lamongan [The Use of Slack in Collaboration and Communication of the Student Organization (OSIS) at SMK PGRI Sukodadi Lamongan]
The digital era demands the optimization of technology to support the educational process, especially in communication and collaboration. This study aims to improve the effectiveness of communication and collaboration at SMK PGRI Sukodadi Lamongan through the implementation of the Slack application. The method used is community service with a model of training, mentoring, and evaluation of Slack implementation for teachers and staff. The results show significant improvements in digital literacy, communication effectiveness, and collaborative learning. Slack has proven to provide a centralized solution for information dissemination, task coordination, and academic interaction. This implementation also demonstrates an increase in employees' soft skills such as digital communication and teamwork. The study concludes that Slack can be an effective alternative in supporting digital transformation in the educational environment. Abstrak. Era digital menuntut optimalisasi teknologi dalam mendukung proses pendidikan, terutama dalam hal komunikasi dan kolaborasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan efektivitas komunikasi dan kolaborasi di SMK PGRI Sukodadi Lamongan melalui implementasi aplikasi Slack. Metode yang digunakan adalah pengabdian masyarakat dengan model pelatihan, pendampingan, dan evaluasi penerapan Slack bagi guru pegawai. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam literasi digital, efektivitas komunikasi, dan kolaborasi pembelajaran. Slack terbukti memberikan solusi terpusat dalam penyebaran informasi, koordinasi tugas, dan interaksi akademik. Implementasi ini juga memperlihatkan peningkatan soft skill pegawai seperti komunikasi digital dan kerja tim. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa Slack dapat menjadi alternatif efektif dalam mendukung transformasi digital di lingkungan pendidikan
Optimalisasi AI sebagai Asisten Pembelajaran: Integrasi Teknologi dengan Etiket Digital Bagi Guru di Sekolah Dasar [Optimizing AI as a Learning Assistant: Integrating Technology with Digital Etiquette for Teachers in Elementary Schools]
Abstract. This community service activity is motivated by the rapid advancement of AI in education and the need for teachers to adapt to changing times. Many teachers are still unprepared and less responsive in utilizing AI optimally. Teachers’ understanding and digital skills need to be balanced with digital etiquette. The use of AI is not only about technical proficiency but also ethical considerations. Training on optimizing AI as a learning assistant should be accompanied by digital etiquette intervention. The aim of this community service is to improve teachers’ understanding and skills in using AI, as well as to integrate digital etiquette into teaching practices. The community service method used is the drill and practice model with the ORPAER cycle (observe, reflect, plan, action, evaluation, reflect). The results show an increase in the integration of AI in terms of teachers’ understanding and skills in learning activities. Additionally, teachers’ awareness of digital etiquette when utilizing AI has also improved. Teachers’ digital etiquette needs to be nurtured and developed. This community service succeeded in enhancing teachers’ proficiency both technically and ethically. Teachers need to participate in similar training and continuously improve their understanding, including practical ethics. As role models for digital etiquette, teachers must possess responsibility and morality in utilizing AI. Ethics apply not only in the virtual world but also in the real world. Abstrak. Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pesatnya kemajuan AI di bidang pendidikan dan kebutuhan guru untuk adaptif terhadap perkembangan zaman. Banyak guru yang masih belum siap dan sigap memanfaatkan AI secara optimal. Pemahamana, keterampilan digital guru perlu diimbangi dengan etiket digital. Pemanfaatan AI tidak sekedar kecakapan teknis tetapi juga etis. Pelatihan optimaliasi AI sebagai asisten pembelajaran perlu diintervensi dengan etiket digital. Tujuan dari pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pemahaman, keterampilan guru dalam menggunakan AI serta mengintegrasikan etiket digital dalam praktik pembelajaran. Metode pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang digunakna adalah model drill and practices dengan menggukan siklus ORPAER (observe, reflect, plan, action, evaluation, reflect). Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan terdapat peningkatan pada integrasi AI pada aspek pemahaman dan keterampilan AI dalam pembelajaran. Selain itu kesadaran guru terhadap etiket digital dalam memanfaatkan AI juga meningkat. Etiket digital guru perlu ditumbuhkembangkan. Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat berhasil meningkatkan kecakapan guru dari segi teknis dan etis. Guru perlu mengikuti pelatihan sejenis dan meningkatkan pemahamannya secara berkelanjutan, termasuk etika praktis. Guru berperan sebagai teladan etiket digital maka guru harus memiliki tanggung jawab dan moral dalam memanfaatkan AI. Etika tidak hanya di dunia maya tetapi juga di dunia nyata
Strengthening Family and Community Roles in Elderly Rehabilitation for Osteoarthritis Prevention
The elderly population in Surabaya exceeds 350,000 individuals, presenting major challenges in musculoskeletal health, particularly osteoarthritis, which contributes to pain, functional limitations, and reduced independence. A preliminary community survey in Wonocolo District showed that 35.7% of older adults experienced knee pain, particularly during stair climbing, squatting, and sit-to-stand movements, indicating an urgent need for preventive and functional rehabilitation strategies. Families and community health cadres hold a key role, yet their knowledge and skills in assisting elderly mobility and joint-protection activities remain limited. This community engagement program aimed to strengthen family and cadre capacity in elderly rehabilitation and osteoarthritis prevention through structured education, functional exercise training, and health literacy improvement. The intervention was conducted from February to July 2025 and involved 40 elderly participants and 32 family caregivers and health cadres. Activities included community health education, hands-on functional exercise training, mobility modification for prayer movements, screening for common comorbidities, and pre- and post-test knowledge assessments. Qualitative feedback was obtained to evaluate perceived benefits and readiness for sustainability. Participants demonstrated significant improvement in knowledge, with post-test scores showing more than 85% achieving 8–10 correct answers compared to pre-program scores of 4–6. Elderly participants reported decreased stiffness, increased mobility confidence, and improved ability in daily movements such as sit-to-stand transitions. Families and cadres exhibited enhanced skills in supervising exercises and assisting safe transfers. Screening activities also identified undiagnosed hypertension, hyperglycemia, and hyperuricemia, which were referred to primary health care services. The program effectively enhanced health literacy, mobility skills, and caregiver involvement in elderly rehabilitation. Strengthened family and cadre participation supports program continuity and sustainable community-based healthy aging initiatives. Future programs should include periodic follow-up training, integration with primary health services, and expansion of digital education resources to reinforce long-term behavior change
Peningkatan Daya Saing Produk Hasil Laut Melalui Strategi Usaha, Inovasi Olahan, Dan Digital Marketing Pada Masyarakat Desa Lontar [Enhancing the Competitiveness of Marine Products Through Business Strategies, Processed Product Innovation, and Digital Marketing in the Lontar Village Community]
Abstract. This community service activity was carried out in Lontar Village, Tirtayasa District, Serang Regency, Banten, which is known as a coastal area with main potential in the fisheries and seaweed cultivation sectors. The problems faced by the local community include limited knowledge of modern packaging innovations, business consistency strategies, and digital-based marketing, resulting in marine products that have not yet reached optimal added value. The method consisted of four stages: field surveys, interviews, planning, and implementation. The implementation series included a pre-test, delivery of material, workshops, and a post-test. The materials presented covered entrepreneurship strategies, packaging innovation using tools such as vacuum sealers, and digital marketing training through the creation of online stores on e-commerce platforms. The results showed an increase in participants’ knowledge and skills, with an average improvement of 14% from pre-test to post-test. The largest increase was in digital marketing at 26.12%, followed by modern packaging innovation at 13.04%, and entrepreneurship strategies at 6.95%. This demonstrates that the training successfully increased motivation, practical skills, and the community’s readiness to develop their businesses. Through this assistance, the Lontar Village community not only learned theory but also directly practiced digitalization skills, modern packaging, and online marketing to expand their markets. This activity is expected to encourage increased added value of marine products, strengthen competitiveness, and support the sustainable economic independence of coastal communities. Abstrak. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan di Desa Lontar, Kecamatan Tirtayasa, Kabupaten Serang, Banten, yang dikenal sebagai wilayah pesisir dengan potensi utama pada sektor perikanan dan budidaya rumput laut. Permasalahan yang dihadapi masyarakat setempat meliputi keterbatasan pengetahuan dalam inovasi pengemasan modern, strategi konsistensi usaha, dan pemasaran berbasis digital, sehingga hasil laut yang diproduksi belum memiliki nilai tambah optimal. Metode kegiatan dilakukan melalui empat tahapan, yaitu survei lapangan, wawancara, perencanaan, dan pelaksanaan. Rangkaian pelaksanaan mencakup pre-test, pemberian materi, workshop, serta post-test. Materi yang disampaikan meliputi strategi kewirausahaan, inovasi pengemasan menggunakan alat seperti vacuum sealer, dan pelatihan pemasaran digital melalui pembuatan toko online di platform e-commerce. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta dengan rata-rata kenaikan sebesar 14% dari pre-test ke post-test. Peningkatan terbesar terjadi pada aspek pemasaran digital sebesar 26,12%, diikuti oleh inovasi pengemasan modern sebesar 13,04%, serta strategi berwirausaha sebesar 6,95%. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa pelatihan mampu meningkatkan motivasi, keterampilan praktis, dan kesiapan masyarakat dalam mengembangkan usaha. Dengan adanya pendampingan ini, masyarakat Desa Lontar tidak hanya belajar teori, tetapi juga bisa langsung mempraktikkan keterampilan digitalisasi, pengemasan modern, dan pemasaran online untuk memperluas pasar. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat mendorong peningkatan nilai tambah produk hasil laut, memperkuat daya saing, serta mendukung kemandirian ekonomi masyarakat pesisir secara berkelanjutan
