Introduction to Cybersecurity for Teachers and Students in Indonesia in the Digital Era (Pengenalan Keamanan Siber bagi Guru dan Siswa di Indonesia di Era Digital)
This Community Service (PKM) activity aims to increase cybersecurity literacy among teachers and students as part of efforts to support digital transformation in education. The training was conducted online with an interactive approach, involving 50 participants from various schools in Indonesia. The material includes an introduction to cyber threats, mitigation strategies, and daily digital security practices. The evaluation was done through pre-test and post-test, accompanied by a participant satisfaction questionnaire. The results showed a significant improvement in participants' understanding, with an average score increase of 73%. The level of satisfaction of participants with the training reached the "excellent" category with an average score of 4.75 on a scale of 5. These findings reflect the effectiveness of the designed training methods. However, the limitations of digital infrastructure are the main challenge in implementing activities. This Activity has contributed positively to building cybersecurity awareness and literacy in the education sector. In addition to providing direct benefits to participants, this program is expected to be a model for similar training that supports the sustainable strengthening of digital literacy in Indonesia.Abstrak. Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi keamanan siber di kalangan guru dan siswa sebagai bagian dari upaya mendukung transformasi digital dalam pendidikan. Pelatihan dilakukan secara daring dengan pendekatan interaktif, melibatkan 50 peserta dari berbagai sekolah di Indonesia. Materi yang diberikan meliputi pengenalan ancaman siber, strategi mitigasi, dan praktik keamanan digital sehari-hari. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui pre-test dan post-test, disertai dengan kuesioner kepuasan peserta. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman peserta yang signifikan, dengan peningkatan skor rata-rata sebesar 73%. Tingkat kepuasan peserta terhadap pelatihan mencapai kategori “sangat baik” dengan skor rata-rata 4,75 dari skala 5. Temuan ini mencerminkan efektivitas metode pelatihan yang dirancang. Namun, keterbatasan infrastruktur digital menjadi tantangan utama dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan. Kegiatan ini telah memberikan kontribusi positif dalam membangun kesadaran dan literasi keamanan siber di sektor pendidikan. Selain memberikan manfaat langsung kepada peserta, program ini diharapkan dapat menjadi model pelatihan serupa yang mendukung penguatan literasi digital di Indonesia secara berkelanjutan
Pembelajaran Komunikasi Karang Taruna Ds. Bluru Kidul Berdasarkan Nilai-Nilai Pancasila (Communication Learning of Karang Taruna Ds. Bluru Kidul Based on Pancasila Values)
Latar belakang. Komunikasi memegang peranan krusial dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, khususnya antara anak dan orang tua. Fenomena yang sering ditemui di masyarakat menunjukkan komunikasi antara mereka yang menunjukkan rendahnya kesopanan dan keramahan, kurangnya rasa menghargai, serta rendahnya kemampuan untuk memberikan rasa nyaman. Masalah lomunikasi ini harus segera mendapat solusi. Suryo Subroto (dalam Ilyas: 2004) menyatakan bahwa komunikasi orang tua dengan anaknya sangat penting bagi perkembangan kepribadian anak Komunikasi orang tua berdasarkan nilai-nilai Pancasila, yang merupakan dasar falsafah negara Indonesia, memainkan peran penting dalam membentuk hubungan yang sehat antara orang tua dan anak. Metode Pelaksanaan Program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini dilaksanakan dalam tiga tahap: (1) perencanaan, (2) pelaksanaan, dan (3) evaluasi. Masalah komunikasi antara anak dan orang tua yang baik biasanya melibatkan kurangnya pemahaman, perhatian, dan keterbukaan dalam percakapan sehari-hari. Ketidakseimbangan dalam mendengarkan atau memberikan perhatian sering menjadi penyebab utama. Masalah ini dapat menciptakan jarak emosional, menimbulkan konflik, serta mengganggu perkembangan emosional dan sosial anak. Anak bisa merasa tidak didukung atau dikendalikan, sedangkan orang tua merasa sulit memahami perubahan sikap dan kebutuhan anak, terutama di usia remaja. Solusi untuk masalah ini termasuk membangun dialog yang terbuka,saling mendengarkan tanpa menghakimi, Hasil komunikasi antara anak dan orang tua yang mencerminkan nilai- nilai Pancasila akan membentuk keluarga yang harmonis, penuh kasih sayang, dan saling menghormati. Hal ini tidak hanya memupuk hubungan positif di dalam keluarga, tetapi juga menyiapkan anak untuk menjadi warga negara yang berbudi pekerti luhur dan siap berkontribusi dalam masyarakat. Kesimpulan pembelajaran komunikasi antara karang taruna dan orang tua di Desa Bluru Kidul yang berlandaskan nilai-nilai Pancasila memainkan peran penting dalam memperkuat hubungan antar generasi dan membangun kehidupan bermasyarakat yang harmonis.Abstract. Background. Communication plays a crucial role in everyday life, especially between children and parents. A phenomenon that is often encountered in society shows that communication between people shows a lack of politeness and friendliness, a lack of respect, and a low ability to provide a sense of comfort. This communication problem must be immediately resolved. Suryo Subroto (in Ilyas: 2004) states that communication between parents and their children is very important for the development of children's personalities. Parental communication based on the values of Pancasila, which is the basic philosophy of the Indonesian state, plays an important role in forming a healthy relationship between parents and children. Good communication problems between children and parents usually involve a lack of understanding, attention, and openness in everyday conversations. Imbalance in listening or paying attention is often the main cause. This problem can create emotional distance, cause conflict, and interfere with children's emotional and social development. Children can feel unsupported or controlled, while parents find it difficult to understand changes in children's attitudes and needs, especially in adolescence. Solutions to this problem include establishing open dialogue, listening to each other without judgment, Results. communication between children and parents that reflects the values of Pancasila will form a family that is harmonious, full of love and mutual respect. This not only fosters positive relationships within the family, but also prepares children to become citizens with noble character and ready to contribute to society. Conclusion. Communication learning between youth organizations and parents in Bluru Kidul Village which is based on Pancasila values plays an important role in strengthening intergenerational relationships and building harmonious social life
Training on the Use of Batik Waste Processing Equipment to Enhance Productivity for the Wijirejo Pandak Bantul Batik Group
The batik industry is one that continues to develop over time. One of the ongoing concerns is the waste generated by the batik industry, particularly the dye content in batik dyes. Reactive dyes, if not processed properly, can have a very negative impact on the environment. They can pollute water sources, harm the surrounding environment, and even kill aquatic biota. Currently, liquid batik waste is stored in holding tanks and allowed to seep into the ground without further processing. Given the environmental impact of batik dyes, efforts must be made to minimize these effects before the waste is discharged into water bodies. A batik waste processing method currently under development is the Heterogeneous Fenton method. This method can degrade batik waste into compounds that are less harmful to the environment. The implementation of this service involves socialization and introduction of the program to the service partners, as well as training. This includes technology introduction, tool usage, and the transfer of scientific and technological knowledge to the service partners
Pengaruh teknik reward and punishment untuk mereduksi pelanggaran tata tertib di sekolah pada peserta didik di SMP Negeri 5 Bandar Lampung (The influence of reward and punishment techniques to reduce violations of school rules among students at SMP Negeri 5 Bandar Lampung)
Pelanggaran terhadap tata tertib sekolah yang terjadi di SMP Negeri 5 Bandar Lampung, menunjukkan bahwa peserta didik tersebut perlu mendapatkan bantuan secara khusus untuk dapat mengatasi permasalahan yang dihadapinya. Yaitu terkait dengan pelanggaran tata tertib di sekolah. Metode bantuan yang dapat digunakan untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut adalah melalui layanan konseling kelompok. Permasalah pelanggaran tata tertib sekolah juga menjadi masalah di SMP Negeri 5 Bandar Lampung. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh teknik reward and punishment untuk mereduksi pelanggaran tata tertib sekolah pada peserta didik di SMP Negeri 5 Bandar Lampung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan jenis penelitian pre experimental dengan rancangan one group pre test dan post test design. Pengambilan data dilakukan melalui kuisioner, wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah 26 peserta didik kelas VIII yang melakukan pelanggaran tata tertib sekolah pengujian data menggunakan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, uji linearitas, analisis regresi linier sederhana, uji t dan uji hipotesis. Hasil analisis dan pembahasan dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat Pengaruh Layanan Konseling Kelompok Dengan Teknik Reward and Punishment untuk mereduksi pelanggaran tata tertib di sekolah pada peserta didik di SMP Negeri 5 Bandar Lampung. Hal ini di buktikan hasil pengujian diperoleh nilai t hitung untuk variabel Konseling Kelompok Teknik Reward and Punishment Untuk Mereduksi Pelanggaran Tata Tertib Sekolah menunjukkan nilai t hitung = 3.485 t tabel = 2.068 dengan signifikansi 0.002. Dengan menggunakan batas signifikansi 0.05, nilai signifikansi tersebut lebih kecil dari 0.05. Dengan arah koefisien positif, dengan demikian diperoleh hipotesis yang menyatakan bahwa konseling kelompok teknik Reward and Punishment berpengaruh untuk mereduksi pelanggaran tata tertib di sekolah dapat diterima.Abstract. The violation of school rules that occurred at SMP Negeri 5 Bandar Lampung, shows that the student needs to get special help to be able to overcome the problems he faces. That is related to violations of discipline at school. The method of assistance that can be used to overcome these problems is through group counseling services. The problem of violating school rules is also a problem at SMP Negeri 5 Bandar Lampung. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of reward and punishment techniques to reduce violations of school rules in students at SMP Negeri 5 Bandar Lampung. The research method used is quantitative research using a type of pre-experimental research with a one-group pre-test and post test design. Data collection was carried out through questionnaires, interviews, observations and documentation. The sample in this study was 26 grade VIII students who violated school rules for data testing using normality tests, homogeneity tests, linearity tests, simple linear regression analysis, t-tests and hypothesis tests. The results of the analysis and discussion can be concluded that there is an Effect of Group Counseling Services with Reward and Punishment Techniques to reduce violations of discipline in schools for students at SMP Negeri 5 Bandar Lampung. This is proven by the test results obtained a t-count value for the variable Counseling Group Reward and Punishment Techniques to Reduce School Discipline Violations showing a t-count value = 3,485 t table = 2,068 with a significance of 0.002. Using a significance limit of 0.05, the significance value is less than 0.05. With the direction of positive coefficients, a hypothesis was obtained that states that group counseling of the Reward and Punishment technique is influential in reducing violations of discipline in schools is acceptable
Training for the Randu Alas Batik Group in Processing Batik Waste by Internet of Things
The Industrial Revolution 4.0 era has encouraged the integration of Internet of Things (IoT) technology in various sectors, including industrial waste management. This article discusses the implementation of IoT technology for processing batik liquid waste in the Randu Alas Batik Community Group, Mrisi, Tirtonirmolo, Bantul Regency, Yogyakarta. Batik liquid waste, which comes from the processing and dyeing process, contains dangerous chemicals that can increase chemical oxygen demand (COD) values and cause water pollution. This community service activity is carried out through outreach, training, and practice in using IoT-based waste processing equipment, which aims to increase community knowledge and skills in managing waste effectively and sustainably. The evaluation results show a significant increase in understanding and application of IoT, reflected in the pretest and post-test results. The conclusion of this activity shows that IoT technology effectively improves the quality of batik waste management and has great potential to be widely applied to maintain environmental sustainability
Digitalisasi Kesehatan untuk Pemantauan Penyakit Tidak Menular (PTM) Kelurahan Kalirungkut Kecamatan Rungkut Kota Surabaya
Penyakit Tidak Menular (PTM) seperti hipertensi, diabetes, dan kolesterol tinggi merupakan penyebab utama kematian di Indonesia. Berdasarkan Profil Kesehatan Surabaya tahun 2022, prevalensi PTM terus meningkat, sehingga diperlukan langkah preventif dan monitoring secara berkala. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini berfokus pada pemantauan PTM di Kelurahan Kalirungkut, Kecamatan Rungkut, Surabaya melalui digitalisasi kesehatan. Kegiatan ini memanfaatkan aplikasi Adem-Gluacho, yang dikembangkan untuk memudahkan masyarakat dalam memantau kondisi kesehatan mereka. Aplikasi ini memiliki fitur untuk mencatat hasil pemeriksaan gula darah, asam urat, dan kolesterol, serta menyediakan konsultasi berdasarkan hasil pemeriksaan tersebut. Pelaksanaan kegiatan terdiri dari tahapan perencanaan, sosialisasi kesehatan, pelatihan penggunaan aplikasi, dan pendampingan penerapan teknologi. Program ini melibatkan warga berusia 25 tahun ke atas dengan kategori sehat, berisiko, dan penyandang PTM. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa warga sangat antusias, terbukti dengan tingginya partisipasi dan minat untuk menggunakan aplikasi Adem-Gluacho. Pemanfaatan teknologi digital ini berhasil meningkatkan frekuensi pemantauan kesehatan mandiri oleh masyarakat, serta meningkatkan pemahaman warga terkait pentingnya pemantauan dan pencegahan dini PTM. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi model untuk penerapan program serupa di wilayah lain guna meningkatkan kualitas kesehatan masyarakat secara berkelanjutan
Gadingsari maritime village: Empowerment of Gadingsari coastal communities through cultivation saline tilapia fish using biofloc technology
The community empowerment program in Gadingsari Village through saline tilapia cultivation with biofloc technology aims to improve the skills and knowledge of the local community. This village has great maritime potential, but challenges related to education levels and lack of employment limit economic development. This program involves socialization, provision of biofloc equipment, distribution of fish seeds, and assistance in fish maintenance until harvest. Biofloc technology was chosen because it can optimize water and nutrient efficiency, and increase the yield of saline tilapia that is resistant to salinity conditions. R/C ratio analysis shows that the Biofloc system with a ratio of 1,38 is more profitable than the conventional system with a ratio of only 1,05. This program has succeeded in introducing new technology, increasing fisheries production, and providing a positive impact on the economic welfare of the local community
Pendampingan dan Pelatihan Budidaya Maggot sebagai Alternatif Pakan Bernutrisi Tinggi di POKMAS Barokah Jaya Mandiri
Salah satu tantangan yang dihadapi oleh mitra POKMAS Barokah Jaya Mandiri adalah harga pakan pellet yang mahal sehingga tidak dapat menutupi biaya budidayanya. Hal inipun pasti dirasakan juga oleh para ternak ikan. Mitra POKMAS ini bertempat di Kelurahan Landasan Ulin, Kecamatan Liang Anggang, Banjarbaru, Kalimantan Selatan dengan bidang fokus pengembangan di ternak ikan lele. Terdapat alternatif pakan ikan yang dapat dikembangbiakkan dan mengandung protein yang tinggi yaitu Maggot dari lalat Black Soldier Fly. Adanya pakan Maggot dapat mengurangi kebutuhan pakan ikan pellet sehingga pengeluaran dapat ditekan. Maggot merupakan predator dari sampah organik bahkan sisa makanannya bisa dijadikan pupuk organik. Kegiatan dilakukan dengan sosialisasi, pemberian materi, pelatihan, pendampingan dalam budidaya Maggot, analisis stok pakan dan manajerialnya serta pengisian kuisioner kepuasan mitra terhadap pelaksanaan kegiatan. Dilakukan pretes dan postes untuk mengetahui pengetahuan mitra tentang budidaya Maggot. Hasil kegiatan didapatkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan keterampilan mitra dalam proses budidaya Maggot sebagai pakan ikan, dan peningkatan manajerial mitra. Hasil peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan mengenai proses budidaya Maggot meningkat sebesar sebesar 100% dikarenakan mitra belum mengenal dan mengetahui Maggot untuk pakan ikan. Selain itu, tersedia pakan Maggot bernutrisi tinggi yang dapat diperjualbelikan. Mitra sangat antusias dalam melaksanakan kegiatan ini dengan tingkat kepuasan “Sangat Puas”. Abstract. One of the problem by POKMAS Barokah Jaya Mandiri is the pellet price is so expensive. This must also be felt by fish farmers. This POKMAS is located in Landasan Ulin Village, Liang Anggang District, Banjarbaru, South Kalimantan with a focus on catfish farming. There is an alternative fish feed that can be bred and contains high protein, namely Maggot from the Black Soldier Fly. Activities are carried out through socialization, providing materials, training, assistance in Maggot cultivation, analysis of feed stocks and their management, and filling out a partner satisfaction questionnaire regarding the implementation of activities. Pretests and posttests were carried out to determine partner knowledge about Maggot cultivation. The results of the activity showed that there was an increase in partner skills in the process of cultivating Maggot as fish feed, and an increase in partner management. The results of the increase in knowledge and skills regarding the Maggot cultivation process increased by 100% because partners did not know and were not familiar with Maggot for fish feed. In addition, there is a high-nutrient Maggot feed that can be traded. Partners are very enthusiastic in carrying out this activity with a satisfaction level of "Very Satisfied"
Communication Strategies of Indonesian Secondary School Teachers to Establish Interpersonal Relationships with Students; A Literature Review
The quality of teacher-student relationships has a profound impact on the learning process and outcomes, particularly in culturally diverse contexts like Indonesia. In Indonesian secondary schools, where cultural characteristics such as power distance and collectivism shape interactions, enhancing teacher-student relationships through effective communication strategies is crucial. This study aims to identify and analyze communication strategies that are most appropriate for fostering interpersonal relationships in Indonesian secondary schools. Using a qualitative literature review method, following PRISMA guidelines, this study synthesizes 22 communication behaviors from existing literature, which were categorized into four main themes: care, immediacy, clarity, and disclosure. Notably, while the strategies of care, immediacy, and clarity align with previous research and are adapted to the Indonesian cultural context, the study found a significant lack of teacher disclosure, a critical strategy for building close interpersonal relationships. This gap suggests that cultural factors such as high power distance may inhibit the use of disclosure as a relational tool in Indonesian classrooms. The study’s findings provide practical implications for teachers aiming to improve their communication practices, suggesting that culturally appropriate strategies, particularly in balancing authority and relational closeness, are necessary to foster stronger interpersonal connections with students
Encouraging the Participation of Village Human Resources in Village Development Pematang Serai, Langkat (Mendorong Partisipasi Sumber Daya Manusia Desa dalam Pembangunan Desa Pematang Serai, Langkat)
The service activity with the theme Encouraging the Participation of Village Human Resources in the Development of Pematang Serai Village, Langkat aims to increase the capacity of human resources (HR) at the village level as the key to sustainable development. Through a series of trainings, workshops, and discussions, village communities are provided with relevant practical knowledge and skills, as well as an understanding of the importance of their active role in the development process. This activity succeeded in creating a collective awareness of shared responsibility in community development, as well as encouraging collaboration between various stakeholders. In addition, this activity strengthens the social network among the participants, which is expected to continue to support future development initiatives. The results of this activity show an increase in skills, active participation, and potential for local economic development, which overall contributes to the progress of Pematang Serai Village. Thus, this activity is a strategic step in realizing an independent, competitive, and sustainable village.Abstrak: Kegiatan pengabdian dengan tema Mendorong Partisipasi SDM Desa dalam Pembangunan Desa Pematang Serai, Langkat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas sumber daya manusia (SDM) di tingkat desa sebagai kunci pembangunan berkelanjutan. Melalui serangkaian pelatihan, lokakarya, dan diskusi, masyarakat desa dibekali dengan pengetahuan dan keterampilan praktis yang relevan, serta pemahaman tentang pentingnya peran aktif mereka dalam proses pembangunan. Kegiatan ini berhasil menciptakan kesadaran kolektif akan tanggung jawab bersama dalam pembangunan masyarakat, sekaligus mendorong kolaborasi antar berbagai pemangku kepentingan. Selain itu, kegiatan ini memperkuat jaringan sosial di antara para peserta, yang diharapkan dapat terus mendukung inisiatif pembangunan di masa mendatang. Hasil kegiatan ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan keterampilan, partisipasi aktif, dan potensi pengembangan ekonomi lokal, yang secara keseluruhan berkontribusi terhadap kemajuan Desa Pematang Serai.
