Pemaparan Pengelolaan Keuangan: Anggaran dan Pembukuan Sederhana Bagi Ibu-Ibu Rumah Tangga
Get PDFTujuan kegiatan masyarakat ini diadakan untuk memberikan pandangan sederhana mengenai pengelolaan keuangan: pembuatan anggaran dan pembukuan sederhana pada ibu-ibu rumah tangga. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat mengenalkan dan menambah wawasan bagi para ibu-ibu dalam mengelola keuangan rumah tangga dengan membuat anggaran dan pembukuan sederhana sehingga dapat membantu menciptakan kesejahteraan dan keharmonisan dalam rumah tangga. Pengelolaan keuangan yang baik menjadi suatu pengetahuan yang penting dimiliki oleh para ibu-ibu rumah tangga. Sasaran kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang dilakukan ini adalah ibu-ibu rumah tangga di GBI Home Palem Galaxy yang melalui salah satu perwakilannya meminta Pusat Penelitian dan Pengabdian Masyarakat untuk menyampaikan materi tersebut kepada rekan-rekan ibu rumah tangga yang berada di bawah salah satu naungan gereja. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dilakukan melalui zoom online jam 19.00-20.30 pada hari rabu, 26 Juli 2023. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat terkait pemaparan pengelolaan keuangan: pembuatan anggaran dan pembukuan sederhana terlaksana dengan baik dan beberapa peserta terlibat aktif dengan banyaknya sharing ataupun pertanyaan yang disampaikan.Abstract: This community activity aimed to provide a simple view of financial management: making budgets and simple bookkeeping for housewives. It is hoped that this activity can introduce and increase insight for mothers in managing household finances by making simple budgets and bookkeeping so that it can help create prosperity and harmony in the household. Good financial management is important knowledge for housewives. The targets of this community service activity were housewives at GBI Home Palem Galaxy who, through one of their representatives, asked the Center for Research and Community Service to convey the material to fellow housewives who were under one of the auspices of the church. The implementation of community service activities was carried out via Zoom online at 19.00-20.30 on Wednesday, July 26 2023. Community service activities related to presentations on financial management: budget making and simple bookkeeping were carried out well and several participants were actively involved with lots of sharing and questions asked

Get PDFInisiasi Menyusu Dini (IMD) adalah bayi diberi kesempatan memulai menyusu sendiri segera setelah lahir/dini, dengan membiarkan kontak kulit bayi dengan kulit ibu setidaknya satu jam atau lebih, sampai menyusu pertama selesai. Praktek IMD di Indonesia kurang dari 1 jam setelah bayi lahir hanya 34.5%. Kurangnya pengetahuan dari orang tua sehingga IMD masih jarang dipraktekkan. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan peran ibu hamil terhadap optimalisasi pelaksanaan Inisiasi Menyusu Dini (IMD). Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian ini adalah memberikan edukasi pada ibu hamil tentang Inisiasi Menyusu Dini (IMD). PKM ini telah dilaksanakan oleh tim Dosen dan mahasiswa dari Prodi Keperawatan Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Halu Oleo di wilayah Pesisir Kecamatan Nambo Kota Kendari. Pengaruh pola makan terhadap kejadian stunting
Get PDFStunting is a condition of the baby that fails to grow due to a chronic lack of nutrition resulting in an inconsistency between body height and age. Nutritional problems in infants will affect their ability to develop physically and cognitively to the maximum in the future. There are several factors that contribute to the occurrence of stunting. One contributing factor is the inadequate intake of nutrients observed in babies, characterized by an imbalance between the amount of food consumed and the recommended dietary requirements. Baby’s dietary habits have a significant impact on the consumption of essential nutrients that facilitate optimal growth and development. The research design selected for this study is cross-sectional. The sample was comprised of 96 participants. Sampling refers to the deliberate and intentional selection process in research, in which individuals or elements are selected based on specific criteria and objectives. The Food Frequency Questionnaire (FFQ) is a method used for anthropometric assessment. The Chi-Square test is used for data analysis. The findings of the study revealed a statistically significant p-value of 0,000, which indicates an important relationship between diet and the occurrence of stunting in babies. Nutritional intake is very important, as it relates not only to the dietary choices made by the individual, but also to the nutritional practices applied by the mother. The latter, the application of a diet, has been identified as a factor contributing to the occurrence of stunting. Effective work should be done in health care to ensure the provision of health education to mothers about the importance of food delivery patterns, quality, and diversity. It is very important to meet the nutritional needs of the baby

Get PDFThe community service activities with the title “A simple bookkeeping” was held by Trisakti School of Management (TSM) cooperation with MSMEs associated with KOMAKU on July, 5, 2023 time 19.00 WIB until finish through zoom meeting. The purposes of the activity is to increase the knowledge of MSMEs actors in bookkeeping technic until they have a capability in setting the financial statement. The training activity was intended to MSMEs actors to understand the accounting role especially in financial transaction bookkeeping techniques in MSMEs. Komunitas Maju Kuliner (KOMAKU) which spread all over cities in Indonesia as a community under supervision of chef Desi, a master chef from cooking competition on television. Furthermore, the speaker of TSM explained the material about the accounting cycle and the simple bookkeeping process. The material can increase the curiosity participant in joining the question and answer session. At the end of program, participant has shown the sense of satisfaction in understanding the series of bookekeeping stages through explaination of speaker in order to be implemented in their MSMEs. Finally, MSMEs actors in KOMAKU are able to understand the financial aspect such as the process of simple bookkeeping even though there is such another important aspect as the center of attention such as financial planning and marketing strategy of product that can help the actors to make success of MSMEs activities

Get PDFProgram pengabdian masyarakat ini fokus pada peningkatan keterampilan motorik halus anak usia dini (AUD) di TK Kreatif Cendekia, Surabaya, melalui pelatihan metode pemberian tugas bagi tujuh guru PAUD. Pelatihan ini dirancang untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan guru dalam mengembangkan kegiatan pembelajaran yang mendukung perkembangan motorik halus AUD. Melalui serangkaian workshop, diskusi interaktif, dan sesi praktik, guru-guru dibekali dengan teori dan praktik pengajaran inovatif yang berorientasi pada pengalaman belajar anak. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam kemampuan guru mengintegrasikan metode baru ke dalam kurikulum dan pembelajaran sehari-hari, yang tercermin dalam keterlibatan yang lebih tinggi dan perkembangan keterampilan motorik halus pada anak-anak. Kesuksesan ini juga menggarisbawahi pentingnya pelatihan berkelanjutan bagi guru PAUD untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan anak usia dini. Program ini tidak hanya memberikan kontribusi pada pengembangan profesional guru tetapi juga menyoroti pentingnya kerjasama antar lembaga pendidikan dalam mendukung inisiatif pendidikan anak usia dini.Abstract: This community service program focuses on enhancing the fine motor skills of early childhood (EC) students at Kreatif Cendekia Kindergarten in Surabaya, through training methods for task delivery for seven early childhood education (ECE) teachers. The training is designed to improve teachers' understanding and skills in developing learning activities that support the fine motor development of EC students. Through a series of workshops, interactive discussions, and practice sessions, teachers are equipped with both theory and practice of innovative teaching oriented towards the children's learning experience. The training results show a significant improvement in teachers' ability to integrate new methods into the curriculum and daily learning, reflected in higher engagement and development of fine motor skills in children. This success also underscores the importance of ongoing training for ECE teachers to enhance the quality of early childhood education. This program not only contributes to the professional development of teachers but also highlights the importance of collaboration between educational institutions in supporting early childhood education initiatives
Development of Video Learning Media for Elementary School Students
Get PDFStudents' engagement and passion for studying are shaped by their areas of interest. But the fact is that pupils still show very little enthusiasm for studying. Our goal in creating this medium is to provide fourth graders with a high-quality instructional film that will supplement their social studies curriculum. Using the six steps of the ASSURE model—which include student analysis, establishing learning objectives, selecting methods, media, and materials, implementing the model, encouraging student participation, and finally, evaluation and improvement—this learning video media was developed. Students in fourth grade at SDN Pakis V were the topic of this educational film. The creation of this video medium was deemed suitable for use in the fourth grade social studies curriculum. This is derived from the validation findings of specialists in the field of media and materials, as well as students working alone, in small groups, or in big format. The efficacy of this learning video medium was assessed using a posttest after expert and student testing. Students were able to get outcomes higher than the designated KKM when tested using this learning video medium. As a result, creating educational video content is a fruitful endeavour
Turkish high school students’ susceptibility to peer pressure as a function of religiosity, self-esteem, and autonomy
Get PDFThis study examined high school Turkish adolescents’ susceptibility to peer pressure across four domains (family, peer, school, and misconduct) as a function of religiosity (extrinsic/intrinsic), self-esteem, and self-perceived level of autonomy. Further analysis examined religiosity in the context of educational institutions (religious/non-religious) and its relationship with peer pressure susceptibility. A non-random convenience sampling method generated a sample of 259 students enrolled in the 9(n=168) and 11(n=89) grades at three high schools in Istanbul, Turkey, with an average age of 15.78 years (SD=1.11). A series of multiple hierarchical regression analyses and correlational analyses indicated several sex differences across domains and highlighted the importance of religiosity to understanding adolescent peer pressure susceptibility. Self-esteem was the most consistent predictor of susceptibility to peer pressure in the four domains
Psychological profile of mothers who lost children due to violence
Get PDFGrief is an amalgamation of symptoms and reactions related to significant loss. When a mother loses a child also loses its forecasts, projections, and idealizations. This study aims to psychologically analyze a sample of mothers who have lost children through violent means. They participated in ten mothers a town in Paraíba, selected through non-probability sampling for convenience. We used a socio-demographic questionnaire for the characterization data of mothers and Beck scales (Inventory Beck Depression, the Beck Anxiety and Beck Hopelessness Scale) and factorial scale of emotional adjustment / neuroticism to measure characteristics anxiety, depression, hopelessness, and emotional maladjustment. The results indicated a significant association between the variables vulnerability, anxiety, depression, inadequacy, and loss of time. The mothers had a higher incidence of anxiety symptoms. This study may contribute to the planning of a better continuous counseling the bereaved mothers
Parenting strategies and quality of family interaction in the children's perception
Get PDFThe aim of this study is to perform a comprehensive analysis of children's and adolescents' perceptions of parenting strategies and the quality of family interaction, focusing on a comparison between fathers and mothers. A non-probabilistic sampling method based on convenience was employed to select 10 participants, consisting of male and female children and adolescents aged between 6 to 18 years old. The research instruments include a demographic questionnaire and the Family Interaction Quality Scale, which have been proven to be valid and reliable. Statistical analysis using a two-sample independent t-test reveals that the factors Involvement and Positive Communication have statistical significance with a p-value less than 0.05. Scores for these two factors were higher for mothers compared to fathers. These results highlight the importance of considering the roles and approaches taken by both parents in the context of family interaction quality. The findings are expected to serve as a reference in designing more effective family education interventions or programs, especially in improving the dynamics and quality of interactions among family members from the children and adolescents' perspective
What do we know about mental health of medical personnel? A systematic review
Get PDFMedical personnel is a profession with a high workload. High work demands can lead to a decline in physical and emotional health. An in-depth understanding of the impact of workload on health, especially mental health, is crucial to implementing measures for their well-being. This literature review aims to gather and compare available information to produce an apparent picture of the mental health of medical personnel and influencing factors. A comprehensive search was conducted utilizing a variety of electronic databases, including Scopus, Science Direct, Springer Link, ProQuest, EBSCO, MED-LINE, and Google Scholar. The literature search focused on papers assessed with the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyzes (PRISMA) methodology. We identified 16 studies that reported the criteria for in-depth analysis. The study concluded that overburdened medical personnel are prone to burnout, which in turn has the potential to lead to mental health problems. Common disorders are burnout, depression, anxiety, and abnormal stress. Further research sourced from internal individuals needs to be done so that it is expected to be more robust and consistent, considering that medical personnel are very likely to work in more than one institution during the process
