“Tilik Ndelik” Program to Increase Meaning of life and Psychological Well-being of the Elderly at the “Amanah Bunda” Social Welfare Institution, Pringsewu (Program Tilik Ndelik untuk Meningkatkan Makna Hidup dan Kesejahteraan Psikologis Lansia di Lembaga Kesejahteraan Sosial Amanah Bunda Pringsewu)
Indonesia is entering a phase of aging population structure, which is marked by the proportion of the population aged 60 years and over. In 2020 it had reached 29.3 million people or 10.82% of the total population (269.9 million). Elderly people tend to experience various problems. For example, weak physical conditions such as the ability to see, hear, walk and helpless and declining health conditions so that they are susceptible to disease. Some problems that occur in the lives of the elderly due to the inability to accept change make the elderly depressed, stressed, and lonely, thus affecting the psychological well-being of the elderly. The Tilik Ndelik Program is one of inovation, that Used by researcher togetherness with LKS Amanah Bunda to the finished of the problem. The Purpose of study is to Increase Meaning of life of Life and Psychological Well-being of the Elderly at the “Amanah Bunda” Social Welfare Institution, Pringsewu. This methode that use descriptive quantitative, with pra experimental pre and post intervention design. This program have involved 70 participant, who had implementing of Program “Tilik Ndelik” was act in Social Welfare Institution “Amanah Bunda Pringsewu”, Intervention of the program are given Logoterapy at Eldery, who had implemented during six month, then assessment is carry out afterwards about the Meaning of life and Psychological Well-being. This program was implemented in July-December include as preparation, training, treathening, monitoring and evaluating. The Result study show that the data obtained were then analyzed to determine the difference in significance scores before and after the training was carried out. Based on the results of the paired sample t-test, the t value = 4.222 was obtained, and the sig value = 0.000 0.05 showed that there was a very significant difference between psychological well-being before and after being given logotherapy training treatment. The Conclussion of Study prove that the influence of logotherapy for the elderly can increase the meaning of life for the elderly. Based on this study, logotherapy is very suitable to be given to clients who have feelings of meaninglessness in life. Abstrak. Indonesia sedang memasuki fase struktur penduduk lanjut usia, yang ditandai dengan proporsi penduduk usia 60 tahun ke atas. Pada tahun 2020 telah mencapai 29,3 juta jiwa atau 10,82% dari total penduduk (269,9 juta jiwa). Lansia cenderung mengalami berbagai permasalahan. Misalnya kondisi fisik yang lemah seperti kemampuan melihat, mendengar, berjalan dan tidak berdaya serta kondisi kesehatan yang menurun sehingga mudah terserang penyakit. Beberapa permasalahan yang terjadi dalam kehidupan lansia akibat ketidakmampuan menerima perubahan membuat lansia tertekan, stres, dan kesepian, sehingga mempengaruhi kesejahteraan psikologis lansia. Program Tilik Ndelik merupakan salah satu inovasi yang digunakan peneliti bersama LKS Amanah Bunda untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk Meningkatkan Makna Hidup dan Kesejahteraan Psikologis Lansia di Lembaga Kesejahteraan Sosial Amanah Bunda, Pringsewu. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif, dengan desain pra eksperimen pre dan post intervensi. Program ini melibatkan 70 peserta, yang telah melaksanakan Program Tilik Ndelik di Lembaga Kesejahteraan Sosial Amanah Bunda Pringsewu, Intervensi program ini adalah diberikan Logoterapi pada Lansia, yang dilaksanakan selama enam bulan, kemudian dilakukan asesmen tentang Makna Hidup dan Kesejahteraan Psikologis. Program ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Juli-Desember meliputi persiapan, pelatihan, perawatan, monitoring dan evaluasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis untuk mengetahui perbedaan skor signifikansi sebelum dan sesudah pelatihan dilakukan. Berdasarkan hasil uji paired sample t-test diperoleh nilai t = 4,222, dan nilai sig = 0,000 0,05 menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang sangat signifikan antara kesejahteraan psikologis sebelum dan sesudah diberikan perlakuan pelatihan logoterapi. Kesimpulan penelitian membuktikan bahwa pengaruh logoterapi pada lansia dapat meningkatkan makna hidup pada lansia. Berdasarkan penelitian ini, logoterapi sangat cocok diberikan kepada klien yang memiliki perasaan tidak berarti dalam hidup
Hydrotheraphy Sebagai Salah satu Teknik Pencegahan Penyakit Hipertensi (Hydrotherapy as a technique for preventing hypertension)
Seiring bertambahnya usia, tubuh akan mengalami berbagai proses penuaan yang secara bertahap mengakibatkan penurunan daya tahan fisik dan efisiensi fisiologis. Fenomena ini sering kali menjadi pemicu munculnya penyakit degeneratif seperti hipertensi, yang dapat berdampak secara signifikan terhadap kualitas hidup. Angka hipertensi di Kota Kediri, diketahui sudah mencapai angka 38.204 penderita pada tahun 2023. Oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat dalam bentuk edukasi interaktif bagi lansia sebagai bentuk pencegahan terhadap penyakit hipertensi yang bertujuan untuk memberdayakan lansia dengan pengenalan Teknik Hydrotheraphy. Kegiatan dilakukan menggunakan metode ceramah dan tanya jawab serta demonstrasi pada 30 lansia di Kelurahan Setonopande, Kota Kediri. Capaian keberhasilan kegiatan diukur dengan dengan menggunakan penilaian peningkatan pengetahuan lansia. Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini terbukti secara efektif 86,6% dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan lansia dan turut berpartisipasi untuk melakukan Hydrotheraphy sebagai salah satu teknik pencegahan penyakit hipertensi. Teknik Hydrotheraphy harapannya dapat dilakukan di setiap kegiatan posyandu lansia dan di rumah masing-masing, serta diikuti dengan berperilaku hidup sehat, sebagai bentuk pencegahan penyakit hipertensi.Abstract. As we age, the body will experience various aging processes that gradually result in decreased physical endurance and physiological efficiency. This phenomenon often triggers the emergence of degenerative diseases such as hypertension, which can have a significant impact on quality of life. The number of hypertension in Kediri City is known to have reached 38,204 sufferers in 2023. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out Community Service in the form of interactive education for the elderly as a form of prevention against hypertension which aims to empower the elderly with the introduction of Hydrotherapy Techniques. The activity was carried out using lecture and question and answer methods as well as demonstrations on 30 elderly people in Setonopande Village, Kediri City. The achievement of the success of the activity was measured by using an assessment of increasing elderly knowledge. This Community Service has proven to be 86.6% effective in increasing the knowledge of the elderly and participating in carrying out Hydrotherapy as one of the techniques for preventing hypertension. It is hoped that the Hydrotherapy Technique can be carried out in every elderly posyandu activity and in their respective homes, and followed by a healthy lifestyle, as a form of preventing hypertensio
Implementation of Majoo-Based Supply Chain Strategy to Improve Quality and Efficiency of DIY Kits at AT Studio (Penerapan Strategi Rantai Pasokan Berbasis Majoo untuk Meningkatkan Kualitas dan Efisiensi DIY Kit di AT Studio)
AT Studio is a nearby craft studio that specializes in innovative handcrafted goods. This studio has steadily expanded over the years and is widely known for its dedication to high-quality craftsmanship. This project focuses on improving operational efficiency at AT Studio through the implementation supply chain strategy using Majoo system. The process begins with manually recording stock data on a spreadsheet, followed by transferring this information into the Majoo system. All implementation activities with AT Studio partners show positive results, after the implementation of detailed product stock recording and the accuracy of stock data recording also show positive results.Abstrak: AT Studio merupakan studio kerajinan tangan yang berlokasi di sekitar lokasi proyek yang mengkhususkan diri dalam pembuatan barang-barang kerajinan tangan yang inovatif. Studio ini terus berkembang selama bertahun-tahun dan dikenal luas akan dedikasinya terhadap pengerjaan berkualitas tinggi. Proyek ini berfokus pada peningkatan efisiensi operasional di AT Studio melalui penerapan strategi rantai pasokan menggunakan sistem Majoo. Prosesnya dimulai dengan mencatat data stok secara manual pada spreadsheet, diikuti dengan mentransfer informasi ini ke sistem Majoo. Semua kegiatan implementasi dengan mitra AT Studio menunjukkan hasil yang positif, setelah penerapan pencatatan stok produk yang terperinci dan keakuratan pencatatan data stok juga menunjukkan hasil yang positif
Application of the Jigsaw Technique to Enhance Student Motivation and Engagement in Vocabulary Learning
Traditional methods such as rote memorization and one-way instruction lead to low interest and limited interaction. The community service program introduced the cooperative jigsaw method, where students worked in small groups, took responsibility for vocabulary learning, and taught peers collaboratively. This program aimed to enhance student motivation and engagement in English vocabulary learning through the jigsaw technique at a primary school in Pranti Village, Sedati, Sidoarjo. Using observation checklists, questionnaires, and classroom documentation, the study found that students were attentive, participative, focused, and confident, showing initiative and effective interaction with peers and media. Questionnaire results confirmed increased motivation, enjoyment of responsibility, reduced stress, and higher confidence when learning collaboratively. Key supporting factors included engaging media, peer collaboration, student autonomy, and the teacher’s role as facilitator, aligning with Self-Determination Theory. In conclusion, the jigsaw technique effectively improved both motivation and engagement in vocabulary learning, offering a dynamic, student-centered approach that fosters meaningful and enjoyable language learning for young learners
Improving Public and Environmental Health Through Clean and Healthy Living Behavior Education and Bacterial Examination
A major problem frequently faced by the public is clean and healthy living behaviors (PHBS). According to the Indonesian Ministry of Health in 2014, health can be achieved by changing unhealthy behaviors into healthy ones and creating a health-supportive environment. Effective measures include handwashing with soap and environmental inspections. This activity aims to increase public awareness of the importance of clean and healthy living behavior (PHBS), while also introducing the dangers of microbiological contamination that can occur on hands and water. Community service activities are carried out through the stages of pre-test, education, post-test, sampling, and sample examination. Of the 34 respondents, the majority experienced a significant reduction in hand bacteria, with 21 showing a reduction in hand bacteria of more than 70% and some reaching 99–100%. Well water examinations at several public facilities for Pekingan village residents showed the presence of Coliform bacteria exceeding the safe limits according to the Ministry of Health Regulation, indicating that the water is not suitable for direct consumption due to possible contamination by domestic waste, septic tank seepage, or poor environmental sanitation. The conclusion of this Community Service activity is that there is an increase in respondents' understanding and an increase in their ability to practice proper handwashing. Water sanitation in public facilities needs to be considered and improved because it should not be used for consumption
Educational Intervention on Knowledge, Attitudes, and Preventive Behaviors Toward Tuberculosis and Hypertension in Kelurahan Binaan
Tuberculosis (TB) and hypertension remain major public health burdens in Indonesia, contributing to the country’s persistent double burden of disease. Community-based health promotion programs serve as a strategic approach to enhance awareness and preventive behaviors. This research aim to evaluate the effect of educational interventions on knowledge, attitudes, and preventive behaviors related to tuberculosis and hypertension under the Kelurahan Binaan. A pre–post interventional study was conducted among 83 adult participants selected using inclusion and exclusion criteria. Interventions included health education on TB and hypertension and dietary counseling delivered through lecture-based methods. Data on knowledge, attitudes, and preventive behaviors were collected using validated questionnaires. Wilcoxon Signed Rank and McNemar tests were applied for analysis. Significant improvements were observed in knowledge of tuberculosis (Z = –6.050; p 0.001) and hypertension (Z = –4.735; p 0.001). Attitudes toward TB (p = 0.012) and hypertension (p 0.001) also increased significantly. Preventive behavior significantly improved for both TB (Z = –3.632; p 0.001) and hypertension (p 0.001). Correlation analysis revealed significant associations between knowledge, attitudes, and preventive behaviors. Educational and dietary interventions effectively improved community knowledge, attitudes, and preventive behaviors toward tuberculosis and hypertension. Sustainable and continuous education programs are recommended to maintain these improvements
Efektivitas Pembinaan Lembaga Pemasyarakatan dalam Mencegah Residivis : Studi Kasus Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Perempuan Kelas III Mataram (The Effectiveness Of Correctional Institution Rehabilitation in Preventing Recidivism : Case Study Of The Class III Mataram Women's Correctional Institution)
Abstrak. Salah satu masalah yang dihadapi saat ini adalah masih banyaknya tentang pelaku kejahatan yang “kambuh” atau kembali melakukan kejahatan tindak pidana yang sering disebut Residivis. Munculnya kelompok residivis atau kejahatan berulang, menunjukkan betapa pentingnya peran Lembaga Pemasyarakatan dalam proses pembinaan terhadap Narapidana guna meminimalisir tindakan residivis. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian normatif-empiris. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Perempuan Kelas III Mataram melaksanakan pembinaan sesuai dengan ketentuan yang diatur dalam Undang-undang No. 22 Tahun 2022 tentang Pemasyarakatan serta Peraturan Pemerintah No. 31 Tahun 1999 tentang Pembinaan dan Pembimbingan Warga Binaan Pemasyarakatan yaitu berupa pembinaan kepribadian dan pembinaan kemandirian, dimana bentuk pembinaan yang diterapkan terhadap narapidana residivis tidak berbeda dengan pembinaan yang diberikan terhadap narapidana umum. Namun, pelaksanaan kegiatan pembinaan di Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Perempuan Kelas III Mataram masih belum berjalan secara efektif. Hal ini disebabkan oleh LPP Mataram tidak melaksanakan program asimilasi dengan alasan tidak tersedia LP Terbuka Khusus Perempuan di NTB serta beberapa hambatan yang dihadapi, antara lain terkait dengan sarana dan prasarana, dan Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM). Abstract. One of the problems currently faced is the prevalence of criminals who "relapse" or return to committing crimes, often referred to as recidivists.The emergence of recidivist groups or repeat offenses highlights the crucial role of correctional institutions in the rehabilitation process of inmates to minimize recidivism.The method used in this research is the normative-empirical research method.The results of this study indicate that the Class III Mataram Women's Correctional Institution implements rehabilitation in accordance with the provisions regulated in Law No. 22 of 2022 on Corrections and Government Regulation No. 31 of 1999 on the Guidance and Coaching of Correctional Residents, which includes personality development and independence development. The form of rehabilitation applied to recidivist inmates is not different from the rehabilitation provided to general inmates.However, the implementation of rehabilitation activities at the Class III Women's Correctional Institution in Mataram has not yet been effective.This is due to LPP Mataram not implementing the assimilation program on the grounds that there is no Open Special Prison for Women in NTB, as well as several obstacles faced, including those related to facilities and infrastructure, and Human Resources (HR)
Pemanfaatan Artificial Intelligence sebagai Media Edukasi Pasca Pencabutan Gigi dalam Rangka BKGN FKG IIK Bhakti Wiyata (Utilization of Artificial Intelligence as a Post-Tooth Extraction Educational Media in the Framework of BKGN FKG IIK Bhakti Wiyata)
Abstrak, Masalah kesehatan gigi mulut berdasarkan hasil RISKESDAS selama 2 periode terakhir masih menjadi permasalahan di Indonesia. Mahalnya biaya tindakan kedokteran gigi menjadi alasan masyarakat enggan datang untuk periksa ke dokter gigi. Pencabutan gigi merupakan perawatan yang sering dilakukan tetapi edukasi tentang hal yang boleh dan tidak boleh dilakukan setelah pencabutan gigi masih sering menjadi pertanyaan banyak pasien. Tujuan penelitian ini memberikan pelayanan pencabutan gigi gratis beserta edukasi pasca pencabutan gigi dengan memanfaatkan artificial intelligence (AI). Kegiatan yang bekerja sama PT. Unilever Indonesia Tbk ini berlangsung tanggal 18-20 September 2024. Pencabutan gigi gratis diberikan kepada masyarakat yang datang ke RSGM IIK Bhakti Wiyata dilanjutkan sesi edukasi pasca pencabutan gigi menggunakan media yang memanfaatkan artificial intelligence berupa flyer digital produk canva. Sebanyak 47 pasien telah menerima pencabutan gigi gratis yang kemudian diberikan edukasi “Do’s Don’ts Post Tooth Extraction” secara digital. Pasien memahami isi edukasi dengan baik karena dikemas praktis dengan flyer digital. Pasien antusias dengan pelayanan pencabutan gigi gratis dan memahami dengan baik edukasi pasca pencabutan gigi dengan memanfaatkan artificial intelligence. Abstract. Oral health problems based on RISKESDAS results for the last 2 periods are still a problem in Indonesia. The high cost of dental procedures is the reason why people are reluctant to come to see a dentist. Tooth extraction is often carried out, but education about what can and cannot be done after tooth extraction is still a frequent question for many patients. This study aims is to providing free tooth extraction services along with post-tooth extraction education by utilizing artificial intelligence (AI). Activities in collaboration with PT. Unilever Indonesia Tbk will take place from 18-20 September 2024. Free tooth extractions are given to people who come to RSGM IIK Bhakti Wiyata followed by post-tooth extraction education sessions using media that utilizes artificial intelligence in the form of digital flyers for Canva products. Results. A total of 47 patients received free tooth extractions and were then given digital "Do's Don'ts Post Tooth Extraction" education. Patients understand the educational content well because it is packaged practically with digital flyers. Patients are enthusiastic about the free tooth extraction service and understand post-tooth extraction education using artificial intelligence well
Psychological Dynamics of Society about Minimum Age Limit Change for Marriage from the Perspective of Religious Court Judges during the COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia
Underage marriage (UM) has increased globally, including in Indonesia. This was triggered by changes in the Marriage Law (UU) which increased the minimum age for women to marry from 16 to 19 years old and was followed by the emergence of the Covid-19 pandemic. This study examines the psychological dynamics of society related to changes in the minimum age limit for marriage from the perspective of Religious Court judges in Indonesia. A descriptive qualitative approach was used by conducting semi-structured interviews with 20 judges from 16 Religious Courts in Indonesia who handle marriage dispensation cases. This process was followed by data collation, coding, classification, and analysed by the deductive thematic technique. As a result, participants conveyed the background of the age limit change and the public's reaction after the change. Some participants stated that the age limit change is not the authority of the court or judge. Some others said that the increase in the minimum age limit for marriage was carried out based on the risks behind underage marriage. These risks are psychological factors, reducing the number of UM cases, preventing divorce, gender equality, and reasons for education, work, and physical condition. Public showed various responses; obeying the rules, not knowing about the regulatory changes, and being against it. Basically, the new Marriage Law seeks to stop the UM trend. The government needs to conduct socialization about the age limit change and the risks of UM. Cooperation from various parties is also needed, especially from parents who need to pay more attention to their children
Poster making workshop using Canva as a science teaching media integrated with characters in elementary school
The workshop was initiated in response to challenges faced by elementary school teachers in remote and underdeveloped regions, who often struggle with selecting appropriate teaching media. Additionally, elementary students in these areas tend to spend excessive time on gadgets without using them for learning purposes. This study aims to educate teachers on creating science posters using Canva, thus fostering character development and promoting the wise use of technology for learning. The project-based workshop included several stages: a Forum Group Discussion (FGD) to align the teachers' understanding, project-based learning planning, poster creation using Canva, and ongoing monitoring and evaluation. The program successfully enhanced the digital literacy and design skills of teachers to create poster integrated with character. The Canva design workshop was held virtually via Zoom, focusing on open media, learning posters, module covers, and learning videos. This activity was attended by teachers from various regions. The program lasted for two sessions (theory and practice of making products). The program has succeeded in helping teachers improve their creative design skills amidst limited access to technology in remote and outermost areas. The teachers managed to operate Canva well, showing high enthusiasm in improving their design skills. The evaluation showed high participant satisfaction, with 57% satisfied and 43% very satisfied. This workshop has succeeded in encouraging teachers to be more creative and innovative in the technology-based learning process.Abstrak. Lokakarya ini digagas sebagai respons terhadap tantangan yang dihadapi oleh guru-guru SD di daerah terpencil dan terbelakang, yang sering kali kesulitan dalam memilih media pembelajaran yang tepat. Selain itu, siswa SD di daerah tersebut cenderung menghabiskan waktu yang berlebihan pada gadget tanpa menggunakannya untuk tujuan pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendidik guru-guru dalam membuat poster sains menggunakan Canva, sehingga menumbuhkan karakter dan mempromosikan penggunaan teknologi yang bijaksana untuk pembelajaran. Lokakarya berbasis proyek ini mencakup beberapa tahap: Diskusi Kelompok Forum (FGD) untuk menyelaraskan pemahaman guru, perencanaan pembelajaran berbasis proyek, pembuatan poster menggunakan Canva, dan pemantauan dan evaluasi berkelanjutan. Program ini berhasil meningkatkan literasi digital dan keterampilan desain guru untuk membuat poster yang terintegrasi dengan karakter. Lokakarya desain Canva diadakan secara virtual melalui Zoom, dengan fokus pada media terbuka, poster pembelajaran, sampul modul, dan video pembelajaran. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh guru-guru dari berbagai daerah. Program berlangsung selama dua sesi (teori dan praktik membuat produk). Program ini telah berhasil membantu guru meningkatkan keterampilan desain kreatif mereka di tengah keterbatasan akses teknologi di daerah terpencil dan terluar. Para guru berhasil mengoperasikan Canva dengan baik, menunjukkan antusiasme yang tinggi dalam meningkatkan keterampilan desain mereka. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan kepuasan peserta yang tinggi, dengan persentase 57% puas dan 43% sangat puas. Workshop ini berhasil mendorong guru untuk lebih kreatif dan inovatif dalam proses pembelajaran berbasis teknologi
