IMPLEMENTATION OF MUSLIMAH CLOTHING OBLIGATION IN NON- MUSLIM COUNTRIES
The purpose of writing this paper is to study and explain the implementation of Muslim fashion in Western countries. In the midst of Islamophobia and globalization, Muslim women face bans on wearing Muslim clothing by local governments, even in countries with a majority Muslim population like Indonesia. In addition to the above issue, living in countries where the majority are non- Muslims, the availability of Muslim clothing is scarce. How should Muslim women respond to this challenge? Should they submit to the ban and remove their hijab, or should they fight to have the ban lifted? How can Muslim women overcome the limitations of Muslim clothing in these countries? This study is conducted using a literature approach. Through this research, it can be concluded that Muslim clothing is a necessity and there is no dispensation for removing it. It requires the struggle of all elements of society, especially scholars, preachers, and Muslim women, to lift the ban. Thereshould be no ban on Muslim women wearing the hijab because other Abrahamic religions (Christianity and Judaism) also have commands to wear head coverings. From this study, it is also known that Allah does not limit the style of clothing. The Qur'an and the Hadith only provide general guidelines on covering the aurat. Therefore, Muslim women can overcome the limited availability of Muslim clothing in non-Muslim countries by utilizing and modifying local fashion to cover their aurat
GREETINGS HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO NON-MUSLIMS
The relationship between Muslims and non-Muslims in history has been exemplified by the Prophet Muhammad and Muslims with Christians and Jews in Medina. This is part of Islam's recognition of followers of other religions and the Prophet did not coerce his preaching. Because Islam did not come to kill and destroy other religions, but followers of other religions can live side by side and work together. This paper wants to provide views on the attitude of a Muslim in interacting in social life, including how to respond to differences. One example is how a Muslim responds to differences in beliefs by conveying Happy Holidays to non-Muslims. Amid the life of pluralism with a variety of religious, ethnic, cultural and so forth. So that raises the question of how the law says or conveys congratulations on the big day to non-Muslims. The polemic arose when approaching the celebration of non-Muslim holidays in Indonesia. The first opinion, according to Al-Utsaimin, is that congratulating them is forbidden, it is the same whether they (infidels) are involved in business with someone (Muslim) or not. The second, according to Yusuf Qardawi, is that if you are honored with an honor, then repay that honor with something better than him, or repay that honor. However, Sheikh Yusuf AI-Qaradawi explicitly stated that it is not lawful for a Muslim to participate in religious rituals and celebrations that belong specifically to other religions
AN ANALYSIS OF THE WOMEN’S RIGHT IN ISLAM FROM THE QUR’ANIC VERSES AND AHADITH
Allah (SWT) has created both men and women without subordination of one another. Islam has ensured gender equality and women’s rights in every sphere of their life. Islam has guaranteed rights of men and women in an equal degree and there is no discrimination between men and women. But due to the prevailing socio-cultural norms and practices in Bangladesh sometimes the guarantee of Islam do not get translated into tangible actions. Islam is the religion which liberated Muslim women by ensuring equal rights to them in comparison to their male fellow.. The prime object of this study is to pick out how rights of women are ensured in Islam. This study concludes with an allusion that women are not subordinate of men and indicate an avenue to identify properly women in the light of Islam. This research is actually qualitative in nature where only secondary data has been used. Analytical method was also used in this research. Data has been collected from various books, journals, Glorious Qur’an and Sunnah (tradition) of the Prophet (peace be upon him). This research finds that Islam does not deprive the women rather ensuring proper rights, dignity and status this research includes only those rights of the women as guaranteed by Islam and it does not include constitutional rights or other rights ensured by the existing laws of the country
Klasifikasi Tingkat Keparahan Korban Pada Kecelakaan Lalu Lintas Dengan Metode Chi-Squared Automatic Interaction Detection (CHAID) Di Kota Bekasi
Kecelakaan lalu lintas merupakan suatu peristiwa di jalan yang tidak dapat diduga dan tidak disengaja yang melibatkan kendaraan dengan atau tanpa pengguna jalan yang mengakibatkan korban manusia maupun kerugian harta, benda. Kecelakaan lalu lintas sulit di minimalisasi dan cenderung meningkat setiap tahunnya seiring pertambahan jalan dan banyaknya jumlah kendaraan. Menurut data POLRES kota Bekasi kecelakaan lalu lintas mengalami kenaikan setiap tahunnya, maka perlu dilakukan penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor apa sajakah yang mempengaruhi kecelakaan lalu lintas yang mengalami meninggal dunia, luka berat, dan luka ringan. Metode yang digunakan adalah CHAID, karena CHAID akan menghasilkan pohon keputusan dalam klasifikasi sehingga akan memudahkan dalam interprestasi. Prosedur metode CHAID yaitu membagi variabel independen (Jenis Kelamin, Usia Korban, Pendidikan, Pekerjaan, Waktu Kejadian, Faktor Pengemudi, Jumlah Kendaraan Yang Terlibat, Jenis Kendaraan, Jenis Kecelakaan, Status Jalan, Lokasi Kawasan) menjadi sebuah kelompok berdasarkan pada variabel dependennya (Tingkat Keparahan Korban). Analisis CHAID dengan menggunakan software SPSS 24 menghasilkan 7 segmen klasifikasi dimana terdapat 4 faktor yang mempengaruhi Tingkat Keparahan Korban yaitu, Pekerjaan, Jenis Kendaraan, Status Jalan, dan Jumlah Kendaraan Yang Terlibat. Model Klasifikasi metode CHAID dengan software SPSS 24 memiliki akurasi sebesar 96,8%, maka model tersebut sudah sangat baik. Sedangkan analisis CHAID dengan menggunakan software SIPINA menghasilkan 5 segmen terdapat 3 faktor yang mempengaruhi Tingkat Keparahan Korban yaitu, Pekerjaan, Status Jalan, dan Jumlah Kendaraan Yang Terllibat. Model Klasifikasi metode CHAID dengan software SIPINA memiliki akurasi sebesar 86,9%, maka model tersebut sudah sangat baik
Prinsip Kehati-Hatian (Prudential Banking Principles) Dalam Pembiayaan Syariah Untuk Mengurangi Resiko Kredit Macet (Non-Performing Loan)
The community's need for financial institutions, especially bank financial institutions, both for personal and business purposes, is increasing from year to year. Banks as one of the financial institutions are competing to maximize their lending to the public and to companies with the promised conveniences. This is in accordance with one of the main functions of banking, namely as an institution that collects funds from the public in the form of savings and distributes them back to the community in the form of credit or financing. The purpose of applying the precautionary principle is so that banks are always in good health, in a state of liquid and solvent. In addition, the precautionary principle also anticipates the occurrence of bad loans and for the sake of maintaining public trust in banking institutions. If this principle is ignored by banking institutions, it will have a negative impact, namely in the form of losses and risks for the bank itself..Kebutuhan masyarakat akan adanya lembaga keuangan khususnya lembaga keuangan bank baik untuk keperluan pribadi maupun usaha semakin meningkat dari tahun ke tahun. Bank sebagai salah satu lembaga keuangan berlomba-lomba untuk memaksimalkan penyaluran kreditnya kepada masyarakat maupun terhadap perusahaan-perusahaan dengan berbagai kemudahan-kemudahan yang dijanjikan. Hal ini sesuai dengan salah satu fungsi utama dari perbankan yaitu sebagai suatu lembaga yang menghimpun dana dari masyarakat dalam bentuk simpanan dan menyalurkannya kembali ke masyarakat dalam bentuk kredit atau pembiayaan. Tujuan diberlakukannya prinsip kehati-hatian adalah agar bank selalu dalam keadaan sehat, dalam keadaan likuid dan solvent. Selain itu prinsip kehati-hatian juga mengantisipasi terjadinya kredit macet dan demi menjaga kepercayaan masyarakat terhadap lembaga perbankan. Jika prinsip in diabaikan oleh lembaga perbankan, akan berdampak negatif yaitu berupa kerugian dan resiko untuk bank itu sendiri
WOMEN'S PERSPECTIVE ON ISLAMIC EDUCATION
Islam regards men and women as equals with equal rights. However, there are major differences between men and women. This research will look into gender concerns in Islamic education. The study's goal is to assess Islamic education from a gender perspective and learn more about how Islam is taught. This type of inquiry is known as library research. To assess all of the study's data, the researchers used descriptive analytic approaches. Before investigating gender perspectives, the researchers gathered information on Islamic education. The results of this study show that men and women have similar perspectives on the role of women in Islamic education. When a society is peaceful, the issue of gender discrimination can be handled. The study discovered no differences in men's and women's intelligence or ability for thought, and as a result, women had an equal place in Islamic education to men in terms of gender representation
THE IMPORTANCE OF TRANSPERANCY IN SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT FOR NATION BUILDING: An Expository Analysis from Islamic Thought
Sustainable development for nation building is not a new concept to Islam, sustainable development principles have existed for centuries in the Glorious Qur'an and the Hadith. However, sustainable development concept may have been recently adopted for government and civic society in Islamic world. The Islamic thought embraces that everything on earth is created for humanity and Allah's award to people. Islam allows the consumption of the natural environment without involving unnecessary destruction. Islamic thought views that human activities should support environment, and protection of people’s rights, and needs ensuring that human activities do not compromise the essentials of social, economic and natural systems either now or in the future. The aim of this study is to discover the application of Islam in sustainable development debate. Sustainable development in the context of Islamic concept is taken as an opportunity to refresh the relationship between human being and the nation building. This paper will also discuss the role of transparency and accountability in building good governance. With Iḥsan and Taqwa based on Iman, people can control, manage and report their actions, although there are no punishments or responsibility questions from others. The principles of transparency and accountability in the Qur’an guarantee social control and report, wide public participation, kind public service, self-honest, self-control and self-responsibility so that various forms of distortion such as corruption or discrimination can be avoided and controlled
SULTAN MUHAMMAD BELLO SENSE OF GOVERNANCE AND SHAYKH UTHMAN FUDOYE UNDERSTANDING OF ISLAMIC PRINCIPLES OF GOVERNMENT IN KITAB SARD AL-KALAM FIMA JARA BAYNI/BAYNANA WA BAINA ABD AL-SALAM AND KITAB AL-FARQ
Sokoto jihad literature seem to be the only literature in Nigeria, written by group of scholars that happen to be comprehensive in nature that covers every part of human endeavor the paper outlines the document of Islamic principle of leadership understand by shaykh Uthman bn Foduye. The books show the differences between the unbeliever’s system of government before the jihad and the Muslims system of government after the jihad. It also highlights the misunderstanding between Abdussalam who is happen to be shaykh’s student and either shaykh himself and or Muhammad Bello. The paper also concludes by recommending to the three group of people individual scholars, sultanate council and government in general to act appropriately for the re-introducing Sokoto Jihad literature to the Muslim community. The paper adopted secondary data in writing the research with the selection of the two books written by Shaykh Uthman bn Fudoye and Muhammad Bello which are Kitab Sard Al-Kalam Fima Jara Bayni/ Baynana Wa Baina Abd Al-Salam and Kitab Al-Fara
THE EFFECTIVENESS OF THE QUANTUM LEARNING LEARNING MODEL BY PAYING ATTENTION TO LEARNING INTEREST IN STUDENT LEARNING OUTCOMES
This study generally aims to determine the effectiveness of Quantum Learning on student learning outcomes. In particular, this study aims to determine the difference in student learning outcomes between those taught with Quantum Learning and lecture methods, to determine the interaction of Quantum Learning and learning interest in student learning outcomes, and to determine the differences in student learning outcomes in high learning interest and low learning interest taught with Quantum Learning and those taught with the lecture method. This research uses an experimental method with factorial experiment design. The hypothesis testing process in this study uses the two-way Anava statistical technique (Two Way Anova). Based on the results of the hypothesis test, it shows that, there are differences in learning outcomes in students taught using Quantum Learning accompanied by high interest in learning of 82.73 with those taught using the lecture method amounting to 48.80. Thus, the results of the study stated that there is an effectiveness of the application of Quantum Learning learning to the learning outcomes of Islamic Cultural History (SKI) and there is an interaction between Quantum Learning and learning interest in SKI learning outcomes, there is also a reduction in learning outcomes in students who have high interest in learning and who have low interest in learning. This implies that in applying the learning model to learning activities, teachers need to pay attention to the level of interest in learning students
PERANCANGAN ULANG CONVEYOR OTOMATIS PADA MESIN PENCACAH BOTOL PLASTIK
Mesin konveyor otomatis saat ini di butuhkan dalam masa mempercepat produksi pencacah Botol plastik skala UKM pada daerah TPST di bantargebang. Mesin konveyor ini untuk mengangkut dan press Botol plastik. Pada mesin konveyor ini motor listrik yang digunakan adalah motor listrik satu phase menggunakan motor listrik NMRV dengan daya 0,75 watt dan Reducer 1;40 dengan Kecepan putaran 30 RPM yang terhubung langsung dengan poros/puley conveyor, yaitu puley dengan ukuran berdiameter 400 mm untuk head pulley dan berdiameter 400 mm untuk tail pulley.dan panjang belt conveyor yang dirancang adalah 1,8 meter dengan sudut inklinasi dan horizontal. Untuk roll pres yang digunakan bersistem roller dengan jarak antara roller 4 cm dan sirip roller sebanyak 4 buah.Sistem transmisi yang digunakan adalah rantai dan sprocket dan roda gigi untuk menaikan rpm.dengan kapasitas angkut 13kg/jam
