The Methodology of the Prophetic Sunnah in Dealing with Threats to Civil Peace: The Penal System as a Model
This study presents the sayings and actions of our Prophet, peace be upon him, regarding the penal system, which remains a guiding light across all times for those seeking peace, security, and stability. The study aims to answer several questions related to the general principles followed by the Prophet’s Sunnah in dealing with threats to civil peace, including how it addressed crimes before, during, and after their occurrence, as well as the precautions taken to prevent the improper application of the penal system. First, I explain the concept of search terminology, then discussed the meanings of the Sunnah, civil peace, and penalties. Second, I explore the methodology of the Prophet’s Sunnah in dealing with threats to civil peace through the penal system. This included an overview of the general rules in education and promoting societal righteousness. Third, I focus on blocking every pretext for crimes that threaten civil peace. I also illustrate many of the penal provisions and the conditions for proving and establishing them. Forth, I discuss the implementation of justice in Sharia punishments, and emphasize the Prophet’s Sunnah’s keenness on preventing the wrongful application of the penal system. Finally, I include the results of the research and its recommendations. The results reveal that the penal system in Islam aims to preserve the five necessities of life and seeks to protect society from crime. Its goal is to correct behavior and remedy the effects of sin. The Prophet’s Sunnah in maintaining civil peace is based firstly on general principles of education and ensuring the well-being of society, closing all pretexts for crimes that threaten civil peace. It also clarified many of the rulings related to punishments, along with their conditions for proof and implementation

Mechanisms of Space Formation in Image Theatre by the Director in Arab Theatre
This study aimed to explore the mechanisms of space formation in image theatre as applied by Arab directors, given that experiences in image theatre have significantly impacted the Arab theatre scene. The study investigates the formation of space through the experiences of two Arab directors. The first is the Tunisian artist Al-Habib Shbiel, who established triangular theatre in 1978. The second is the Iraqi Salah Al-Qasab, who has extensive experience in space theatre and developed a unique language of performance based on expanding the audience’s appreciation experience. The authors reached several conclusions, including that image theatre elevates the audience to a heightened state of artistic engagement, as the aesthetic formation of space is both surprising and capable of capturing viewers’ perceptions. Additionally, the formation of space in this theatre relies on a philosophy rooted in dream-like, liturgical interpretations that utilize semantic transformation and generation. Consequently, this approach established a comprehensive space language, in which visual elements are employed until the stage becomes a space for visual formation
Islamophobia from the Perspective of Western Political Thought
This research aims to clarify the concept of Islamophobia, examining its causes, manifestations, and the reasons behind its intensification and the clash between the Islamic world and the West. It also seeks to propose appropriate solutions to address this phenomenon and counter its negative effects. The study concludes that Islamophobia has become prominent in international political discourse, especially following political events and attacks by (Islamic) groups on civilian targets worldwide. This phenomenon is rooted in the longstanding conflict between followers of major religions. The researcher emphasizes that Islam is often stereotyped in Western societies as a result of Western interests, propagated through political discourses, ideological writings by Orientalists, studies, media in all its forms, and by extreme right-wing parties. Combating this phenomenon requires a comprehensive strategy to eliminate terrorism and its sources, promote the true image of Islam to Western audiences, and distinguish the genuine portrayal from stereotypes fueled by Western media and ideology. A clear media plan should be developed to achieve this goal. Furthermore, fostering a global public opinion reveals that Islamophobia is a serious issue, comparable to anti-Semitism in the West

Morphological Changes Downstream Beni-Suef Bridge on the Nile River in Egypt
The construction of the Beni-Suef bridge, spanning 550 meters over the Nile River, resulted in sediment accumulation and hindered navigation. This study investigates the causes of the morphodynamic changes and explores the impact of dredging as a mitigation measure through the area which extended approximately 2.6 kilometers downstream the bridge. A one-dimensional numerical model (HEC-RAS) was employed, utilizing bathymetric surveyed cross-sections from 1982, 2002, and 2004, along with discharge data from downstream Assuit Barrage and water levels from upstream Delta Barrage as boundary inputs. The model was calibrated and validated using measured water and bed levels. Sediment properties and bed composition were incorporated based on samples collected by the Nile Research Institute. Three distinct sediment load formulas were utilized to identify the most suitable one for accurately capturing the physical characteristics of the studied area. After validation, the model was utilized to forecast cross sections for 10 and 20 years, in case of with and without dredging scenarios. The dredging approach was aligned with the navigation requirements in the study region. The study reveals that the Ackers-White sediment formula showed the closest match with minimal differences in deposition and erosion compared to other formulas. Besides, the study area is predominantly experiencing deposition, which is projected to continue in the future. In addition, the predicted sediment volumes were concentrated at the beginning of the study area in both scenarios. The findings indicate also that most depositions occurred in the initial ten years approaching a state of morphodynamic equilibrium. Moreover, the results showed that the dredging reduced rates of sedimentation by 23% and 26% after 10 and 20 years, respectively, which provide an effective solution for mitigating sedimentation along the navigation path in the study area
Urban Sprawl\u27s Effect on Social and Behavioral Changes in Desert Environments
As one of the most important modern urban dynamics that reshapes social structures and redefines residents\u27 psychological frameworks, this study explores the behavioral and social effects of urban sprawl in desert environments. In order to investigate the complex effects of unchecked urban growth, the study employs four interconnected analytical frameworks: social capital, fragmented urbanism, urban alienation, and social change. Rapid and uncontrolled urban growth in delicate ecosystems, like desert cities, weakens conventional social cohesion, breaks communal links, and fosters increased sentiments of spatial detachment and alienation, according to the report. It also examines the effects of these changes on communal practices, cultural identity, and values before offering a number of tactical suggestions to support socially responsible urban growth in desert communities that are expanding quickly
The Effectiveness of a Proposed Learning Program Using Selected Teaching Methods on Learning Basic Volleyball Skills among Students of the Faculty of Physical Education at An-Najah National University
This study aimed to examine the effect of a proposed educational program based on reciprocal and multi-level teaching methods on learning basic volleyball skills among female students at the Faculty of Physical Education, An-Najah National University. The study sample consisted of 22 students enrolled in the volleyball (1) course, with an average age of 18.3 years. The researchers employed a quasi-experimental design using pre- and post-tests to achieve the study’s objectives. The sample was divided into two experimental groups: the first group was taught using the reciprocal method, while the second group was taught using the multi-level method. Pre-tests of the skill variables were conducted prior to implementing the program, covering the following skills: overhead pass, underhand pass, underhand serve from the front, and underhand serve from the side. For statistical analysis, the researchers used SPSS software, applying independent-samples t-tests to measure differences between the two groups, paired-samples t-tests to compare pre- and post-measurements, and Pearson correlation coefficients to ensure the reliability of the tests. The results revealed statistically significant differences (p \u3c 0.05) between pre- and post-tests in favor of the post-tests in both groups. The first experimental group (reciprocal method) achieved improvement percentages of 92.71% (overhead pass), 75.59% (underhand pass), 121.05% (underhand serve from the front), and 81.57% (underhand serve from the side). The second experimental group (multi-level method) achieved improvement percentages of 43.46%, 46.35%, 58.65%, and 42.87% for the same skills, respectively. The study concluded that both the reciprocal and multi-level teaching methods are effective in improving the learning of basic volleyball skills, and it recommended adopting these methods in teaching volleyball skills to female physical education students
