The Impact of Weaponizing Womens Political Rights on Democratic Bscksliding: A Case Study of Sheikha Hasina (PM of Bangladesh)
This paper examines how authoritarian leaders can strategically weaponise womens political rights to keep power and conceal democratic backsliding, using Prime Minister Sheikha Hasinas administration in Bangladesh as an example. Using the historical institutionalism framework, the paper investigates how Hasinas government fostered gender-based legislation and representation while eroding democratic institutions. Through a qualitative analysis of legislation amendments, political discourse, and institutional changes from 2019 to 2024, the study demonstrates how symbolic empowerment of women was used to legitimise a more autocratic state. The findings show that perceived gender progress was frequently utilised to cover up both internal and foreign criticism, implying that gender reforms under hybrid regimes can disguise rather than reflect actual democratic development

Continuous Versus Discrete-Time Sigma-Delta Analog to Digital Converters for Biomedical Applications: A Comparison
Continuous-time (CT) and discrete-time (DT) sigma-delta (ΔΣ) converters are two commonly used techniques for analog-to-digital conversion. While both methods operate based on the principles of oversampling and noise shaping, they differ in their implementation and performance characteristics. CT ΔΣ converters use analog circuits to sample and process signals continuously, while DT ΔΣ utilizes digital circuits to sample and process signals at discrete intervals. This paper presents a comprehensive comparison between CT and DT ΔΣ converters, highlighting their advantages and limitations. The comparison is made in terms of design complexity, power consumption, signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), and other essential parameters in medical applications. The study shows that CTSD can be suitable for most biomedical applications because of its high signal-to-noise ratio. Furthermore, in this paper, simulations of two essential circuits (1-bit comparator and 1-bit subtractor) at the transistor level were done using LTSpice. This comparative study can help in guiding a more efficient and accurate ADC design for future implementations

Evocation of Place in Palestinian Memory
This study has adopted an analytical method to examine various texts addressing the originality and sanctity of place through three dimensions. These dimensions are compatible with each other regarding the concept, while differing in their presentation of the texts. The first dimension addresses the theoretical foundation of the concept of memory and collective conscience, serving as a systematic introduction aligned with the requirements of research construction. The second dimension focuses on the place in human sentiment, clarifying the concept of homeland and its connection to human instinct. An analytical perspective has been applied to several Qur’anic verses and prophetic traditions, as well as to literary texts that excel in highlighting the significance of place in the authors\u27 imaginations. Finally, the third dimension emphasizes the representation of place within the Palestinian cultural scene

Cooperation in Arab Society
This study aimed to clarify the concept of cooperation in Arab society and the development that has occurred due to changes in its social structure resulting from the introduction of Islam. Values, morals, and principles differed and evolved toward progress, which significantly influenced the nature of cooperation within the society. In the pre-Islamic era, harsh environmental conditions compelled individuals to cooperate and work together to meet their needs. With the arrival of Islam in this society, cooperation became a dominant feature in all circumstances and conditions. This is rooted in the belief that cooperation is a divine obligation and a commendable Sunnah enjoined by the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace. This understanding of cooperation has been reflected in the thought of Muslim scholars, including Ibn Khaldun and Al-Ghazali. The research concludes that the development of cooperation fundamentally depends on the society in which it is practiced and the conditions of life within that society. It has been shown that, before Islam, cooperation in Arab society was a necessary response driven by need. In contrast, within the Islamic community, cooperation transcended mere necessity to include goals related to both worldly benefits and spiritual aspirations. It moved beyond survival and hardship to the stage of economic prosperity, a key objective of societal development. Muslim scholars such as Al-Ghazali and Ibn Khaldun advanced cooperative ideas, especially in the field of division of labor, which enlightened their understanding of social harmony and progress
