    دور النظام السياسي في تفعيل الوعي الأمني: رؤية فكرية في ضوء إدراك المخاطر المتجددة

    تناول هذا البحث دور النظام السياسي في تفعيل الوعي الأمني في إطار الدولة لمواجهة المخاطر المستجدة وما تقتضيه من إدراك شامل لأهمية احتوائها، لضمان عدة أهداف أهمها صيانة امن الدولة وبناء مناعة أمنية ثقافية تحمي أفرادها ومجتمعها وتوفير الامكانية لمواجهة الأزمات وإدارة المخاطر التي تحيط بالدولة . وتم استخدام المنهج الاستقرائي وعبر المدخل التاريخي والمدخل الوصفي التحليلي إذ انتظم فضلا عن المقدمة والخاتمة إلى ثلاثة مباحث تناول المبحث الأول دلالات الأمن والوعي الأمني، وناقش المبحث الثاني مكانة الوعي الأمني في مدرك صانع القرار في النظام السياسي، وأخيرا عالج المبحث الثالث دور الوعي الأمني في ادارة المخاطر الأمنية المتجددة. توصل البحث في النهاية إلى عدة استنتاجات منها ضرورة التخطيط لوضع الاستراتيجيات المناسبة لتحقيق الوعي الأمني العام والشامل الذي يهتم بالإدراك الذهني والوجداني والسلوكي، والاهتمام بالتربية الأمنية الشاملة من خلال تصميم وتنفيذ برامج وأنشطة أمنية لتحقيق الوعي الأمني في مجتمعنا لمواكبة التطورات المرتبطة بالتحولات المعاصرة والمستقبلية، وخلص البحث إلى عدة توصيات أهمها المتابعة الدائمة والمستمرة لكل مصادر التهديد الداخلية والخارجية بما يضمن عدم الوقوع في إطار المفاجئات غير المحسوبة This article dealt with the role of the political system in activating security awareness within the framework of the state to confront emerging risks and what they require in terms of a comprehensive awareness of the importance of containing them, to ensure several goals, the most important of which is maintaining the state’s security and building a cultural security immunity that protects its individuals and society and providing the ability to confront crises and manage the risks surrounding the state. The inductive approach was used through the historical approach and the descriptive analytical approach, as it was organized in addition to the introduction and conclusion into three sections. The first section dealt with the implications of security and security awareness, the second section discussed the position of security awareness in the perception of the decision maker in the political system, and finally, the third section dealt with the role of security awareness in managing renewed security risks. The research ultimately reached several conclusions, including the necessity of planning to develop appropriate strategies to achieve general and comprehensive security awareness that is concerned with mental, emotional and behavioral awareness, and interest in comprehensive security education through designing and implementing security programs and activities to achieve security awareness in our society to keep pace with developments related to contemporary and future transformations. The research concluded with several recommendations, the most important of which is the permanent and continuous follow-up of all internal and external sources of threat to ensure that we do not fall into the framework of surprise

    Stability Criteria for the Generalized El Borhamy-Rashad-Sobhy Equation

    This article is concerned with the study of stability criteria for one of the generalization form of El Borhamy-Rashad Sobhy equation, which is a linear second-order ordinary differential equation with periodically time varying coefficients. Many engineering applications can be represented by this generalization, for instance, including the modeling of RLC circuit with time varying inductance, resistance and capacitance, and the vibration of a stretched string, whose mass per unit length is periodic, under a periodic motion. An approximate solution is derived by using the Wenhl-Kramers-Brillonin (WKB) approach. A method of constructing Liapunov function is employed to derive extra conditions for the asymptotic stability criteria. The construction of periodic solution is obtained by employing the harmonic balance method (HBM) using the truncated Fourier expansion. As a result of HBM, the stability charts for the different possible cases are constructed to show the effect of the model parameters on the stability domains. Numerical results are used to verify the corresponding deduced analytical ones

    معوقات استخدام الخرائط الذهنية الإلكترونية في تدريس العلوم للمرحلة الأساسية

    هدف البحث الكشف عن معوقات استخدام الخرائط الذهنية الإلكترونية في تدريس العلوم للمرحلة الأساسية من وجهة نظر المعلمين بمديرية التربية والتعليم البادية الشمالية الغربية. استخدم الباحث المنهج الوصفي والاستبانة أداة في بحثه، وتكونت عينة الدراسة من (968) معلما ومعلمة. تم اختيارها بالطريقة العشوائية المنتظمة. وكشفت النتائج: حصلت المعوقات في استخدام الخرائط الذهنية الإلكترونية في تدريس العلوم للمرحلة الأساسية من وجهة نظر المعلمين مديرية التربية والتعليم البادية الشمالية الغربية بدرجة متوسطة(3.41). وعلى مستوى المحاور، فقد حصل محور الطالب بالمرتبة الأولى بدرجة مرتفعة وبمتوسط حسابي (4.44)، يليه المحور البيئة الصفية في المرتبة الثانية وبدرجة مرتفعة وبمتوسط حسابي (3.96). يليه محور المعلم في المرتبة الثالثة وبدرجة متوسطة وبمتوسط حسابي(2.86). واخيرا حصل محور المحتوى في المرتبة الاخيرة بدرجة منخفضة وبمتوسط حسابي(2.54). وبينت نتائج البحث وجود فروق لسنوات الخبرة التعليمية ولصالح(10سنوات فأكثر). ووجود فروق ذات دلالة احصائية في الجهة المشرفة ولصالح المدارس الحكومية. ولم توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في متغير الجنس. وفي ضوء هذه النتائج قدمت بعض التوصيات والمقترحات ومنها: تنظيم دورات تدريبية على كيفية استخدام الخرائط الذهنية الإلكترونية للطلاب، وكيفية الاستفادة من هذه الاستراتيجية للمذاكرة وحل الواجبات المنزلية. وتشجيع التدريب والنمو المهني اثناء خدمتهم فيما يتعلق باستخدامات التقنيات الحديثة ومنها استراتيجية الخرائط الذهنية الإلكترونية في العلمية التدريسية والتعليمية The aim of the research was to reveal the obstacles of using electronic mental maps in teaching science for the basic stage from the point of view of teachers in the north-western Badia Directorate of education, the researcher used the descriptive methodology. The sample of the study consisted of (968) teachers. They were chosen at random. The results revealed: the obstacles in the use of electronic mental maps in teaching science for the basic stage from the point of view of teachers, the north-western Badia Directorate of Education, received an average grade (3.41). At the level of the axes, the student\u27s axis obtained the first place with a high degree and an arithmetic average (4.44). It is followed by the classroom environment axis in second place, with a high degree and an arithmetic average (3.96). The teacher\u27s axis is followed by the third, with an average grade and with an arithmetic average (2.86). Finally, the content hub ranked last with a low score and an average account (2.54). The research results showed that there are differences in the years of educational experience and in favor of (10 years and more). And the presence of significant differences in the supervising authority and in favor of Public Schools. There were no significant differences in the sex variant. In light of these results, some recommendations and suggestions were made, including: organizing training courses on how to use electronic mental maps for students, and how to take advantage of this strategy for studying and solving homework.     هدفت الدراسة للتعرف على اتجاهات معلمي ومعلمات الرياضيات في محافظة عجلون (الأردن) نحو استخدام ملف الإنجاز أداة تقييم بديل، تمّ اختيار عيّنة الدراسة بصورة عشوائية بحيث تُمثّل جزء من مجتمع الدراسة، حيث بلغت (75) من معلمي ومعلمات الرياضيات في محافظة عجلون، أشارت نتائج الدراسة أنَّ نسبة مستوى اتجاهات معلمي ومعلمات الرياضيات نحو استخدام ملف الانجاز كأداة تقييم بديل في محافظة عجلون التي بلغت (82.3%) وهو مستوى عالٍ، ولا توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في مستوى اتجاهات معلمي ومعلمات الرياضيات نحو استخدام ملف الإنجاز كأداة تقييم بديل في محافظة عجلون تبعًا لمتغير الجنس، وسنوات الخبرة، والمؤهل العلمي. وأوصت الدراسة بضرورة الحرص على تفعيل ملف الإنجاز كأداة للتقييم البديل من قبل معلم الرياضيات. وإجراء دراسة حول مشكلات تفعيل ملف الإنجاز The study aimed to identify the attitudes of mathematics teachers in Ajloun Governorate (Jordan) towards using the achievement file as an alternative assessment tool, and the study sample consisted of (75) mathematics teachers in Ajloun Governorate.     The Effect of Corona Pandemic on Crime within the Family from the researchers’ Point of View in the Ministry of Social Development in the Southern West Bank

    The study aimed to identify the extent to which the family crimes in the Palestinian society are spread due to the Corona pandemic. It also aimed to reveal the psychological, economic and social effects of the Corona pandemic on the crimes within the family in the Palestinian society in the Southern West Bank. The researcher s used a questionnaire to collect the data and the descriptive approach to analyze it. The purposive sample consisted of (74) researchers from the total population which was (120) researchers from the Ministry of Social Development in the governorates of Hebron and Bethlehem in the Southern West Bank. The study concluded that there were statistically significant differences at the level of (α ≥05) between the averages of the impact of the Corona pandemic on the crime within the Palestinian family due to the gender variable (male, female) in favor of the females, and there were statistically differences for the variable of age in favor of 26-30 years and 31-40 years. There were also statistically differences for the workplace variable in favor of Bethlehem. In addition, there were no statistically significant differences at the level of (α ≥05) between the averages of the impact of the Corona pandemic on the crime within the Palestinian family due to the variable of years of experience. This indicated that the level of the impact of Corona pandemic on the crime within the Palestinian family was highly significant. Moreover, the most important family crimes due to the pandemic were electronic of a sexual nature among family members, which spread widely with the percentage of 83%, followed by the violence against wives with the percentage of 77% .The social effects of the Corona pandemic on crime within the Palestinian family were highly significant with the percentage of (71%).The psychological effects of the Corona pandemic on the family crimes in the Palestinian society were also highly significant with the percentage of (75%) as well as the economic effects of the Corona pandemic on the family crimes in the Palestinian society were highly significant with the percentage of 77%

    Experimental and Analytical Study on Shear Bond Behaviour of Lightweight Concrete Composite Deck Slab with Shear Connectors

    This study investigates the bond strength between lightweight concrete and steel elements in composite deck slabs, with a focus on enhancing bond performance through the use of shear connectors. The primary objective was to improve the interface behavior between lightweight concrete and steel corrugated sheets by introducing shear connectors between the composite slab and supporting steel beams. Both experimental and analytical methods were employed. Experimentally, twelve lightweight concrete specimens were fabricated and divided into two groups: one without shear connectors and the other with shear connectors. Each group was further classified into specimens with long and short spans. These specimens were subjected to static and cyclic loads to evaluate their performance. The findings revealed that incorporating shear connectors improved bond strength by 20% to 78% compared to specimens without connectors. Additionally, short-span specimens exhibited 20-90% higher flexural strength than long-span specimens. The sliding movement was reduced by 20-40% in slabs with shear connectors, demonstrating enhanced ductility and sliding resistance. Analytical validation was performed using international codes, and the results aligned well with the experimental outcomes. The shear bond properties of lightweight composite slabs were determined using the semi-empirical m-k method, as specified in EN 1994-1-1:2004, confirming the reliability of the findings.     Performance and Emissions Characteristics of Multi-Cylinder Direct Injection Diesel Engine Fuelled with Diesel/Biodiesel and Toluene Additives

    This study explores the impact of using a diesel, biodiesel, and toluene additive fuel blend in a multi-cylinder direct injection diesel engine, focusing on both performance and emissions characteristics. Biodiesel, made from renewable sources like vegetable oils, is often added to diesel to reduce reliance on fossil fuels and improve combustion due to its higher oxygen content. In this work, a 45% biodiesel blend (B45) led to significant reductions in particulate matter (PM) emissions by up to 40% compared to conventional diesel. Additionally, carbon monoxide (CO) and hydrocarbon (HC) emissions decreased by up to 30% and 25%, respectively, due to biodiesel\u27s cleaner combustion properties. However, biodiesel’s lower energy density compared to diesel, caused engine power to drop by 2-5% and increased fuel consumption by 3-6%, reducing overall engine efficiency. To address these drawbacks, toluene was added to the fuel blend. When toluene was added in a concentrations of 5-10% by volume, it increased the brake thermal efficiency (BTE) of the engine by 4-10%, offsetting the power losses associated with biodiesel. Toluene also improves fuel atomization, leading tofiner spray patterns and a more complete and efficient combustion process. This improved combustion process further reduces CO and HC emissions beyond what biodiesel alone could achieve. Another advantage of toluene is its ability to enhance combustion stability, reducing cylinder-to-cylinder variations and improving knock resistance. However, a challenge when using biodiesel, particularly with toluene, is the potential increase in nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions. Biodiesel’s higher combustion temperatures contribute to higher NOx formation, and while toluene enhances combustion, it may also raise these temperatures further, increasing NOx emissions by 10-20%. Therefore, precise tuning of engine parameters like injection timing and pressure is required to balance the benefits of improved performance and reduced CO, HC, and PM emissions with the potential rise in NOx emissions

    A Standardized Approach for Measuring the Quality of Urban Life in New Urban Communities Case Study: New Damietta City, Egypt

    New urban communities aim to achieve a clear societal vision through the promotion of urban development and improving their efficiency to suit human life with its various requirements. Therefore, the quality of life standards can be adopted to reflect their indicators positively on individuals and communities under their organizational, development strategies, and development plans that are leading to the Egyptian society’s prosperity. In this context, the aim of the research is to investigate and analyse the quality of urban life with the identification of its effective and efficient indicators for the study area. Furthermore, the research intends to provide a methodology to measure the quality of urban life of New Damietta City in Egypt, and to test the level of its residents\u27 satisfaction through conducting a field survey targeting the satisfaction of the city’s residents, based on a comprehensive questionnaire including the related quality of urban life indicators. The researchers provided statistical analysis by using SPSS software, in which the questionnaire data is processed, and the results are obtained as numerically accurate rates for each quality of urban life index. Drawing upon these results, the researchers concluded that by the implementation of the quality of urban life indicators proved to be an effective approach to improve the resident’s needs in new urban communities and to set coordination presses between their involving stakeholders
