Dakwah Fardiyah dan Lifestyle: Studi Terhadap Komodifikasi Umrah Masyarakat Urban
This research aims to describe and analyze the shift in the meaning of the Umrah pilgrimage from fardiyah da'wah (religious ritual) to a lifestyle in middle and upper class communities in urban areas. The type of research used is qualitative research with a case study approach, while data was obtained from interviews with urban residents at Perum Griya Bhakti Praja who had carried out the Umrah pilgrimage, observation and documentation. This study produced several findings including: first, the culture of urban society in Perum Griya Bhakti Praja is heavily influenced by the development of new culture, habits, fashion and technology. Second, the lifestyle of urban communities in Perum Griya Bhakti Praja includes a hedonistic lifestyle and having a contemporary appearance to look modern, internet literate, doing things that are currently trendy, and social mobility, one of which is the trend of worship. Umrah. Third, there are three aspects of the form of commodification that occur, namely the religious ritual aspect which turns into a lifestyle need. The Godly aspect which turns into the fulfillment of existence, and the afterlife aspect which turns into worldly life and business
Hidup Bersama dalam Perbedaan Berbasis Kearifan Lokal di Ohoidertawun dan Relevansinya bagi Masyarakat Kei
The objective of this study is to uncover the strengths of the local wisdom concept in the Ohoidertawun community, which can serve as a model for Kei society in particular and Maluku in general. This research employs a qualitative method to examine various phenomena in Ohoidertawun. The study is conducted in Ohoidertawun Village (Ohoi), Kei-Kecil District, Southeast Maluku Regency. The main reason for choosing Ohoidertawun as the research site is its harmonious social relationships despite the community's diversity in social strata and religion, which remained intact even during the Maluku conflict. The study finds that the understanding of local wisdom (Larvul Ngabal and Ain Ni Ain) remains well-preserved in Ohoidertawun, effectively influencing the community's social life. Sasi, as a form of local wisdom, plays a crucial role in managing natural resources in Ohoidertawun. Additionally, local leaders play a significant role in maintaining social cohesion within the diverse community. This local wisdom strengthens the development of economic and tourism potentials in Ohoidertawun
Prinsip Dasar Kepemimpinan Gereja: Analisis Dasar Berpijak bagi Pemimpin Gereja Masa Kini
This study aims to analyze Christian leadership from the light of Apostle Palus in the texts of Timothy and Titus. The analysis is related to the subject matter of leadership and its challenges today and in the future, as well as encouragement to leaders of institutions and church organizations in order to pay special attention to the quality of self that supports the success of the ministry according to the demands of the times. The method used is literature study. The results showed that theologically a church leader has adequate self quality, being a true Christian leader based on God's decree, Divine Mandate, calling as a leader, having a clear vision, as well as having exemplary life and willing to work hard. These basic principles of leadership will encourage the progress and development of church institutions and organizations today.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kepemimpinan kristen dari terang Rasul Palus dalam teks Timotius dan Titus. Analisis terkait pokok bahasan kepemimpinan dan tantangannya masa kini dan masa akan datang, serta dorongan kepada para pemimpin lembaga dan organisasi gereja agar dapat memberikan perhatian khusus kepada kualitas diri yang menunjang keberhasilan pelayanan sesuai dengan tuntutan zaman. Metode yang digunakan studi literatur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara teologis seorang pemimpin gereja mempunyai kualitas diri yang memadai, menjadi pemimpin Kristen yang sejati berdasarkan ketetapan Allah, Amanat Ilahi, panggilan sebagai pemimpin, memiliki visi yang jelas, serta memiliki keteladanan hidup dan mau bekerja keras. Prinsip dasar kepemimpinan ini akan mendorong kemajuan dan pengembangan lembaga dan organisasi gereja pada masa kini
Pendidikan dalam Keluarga: Nilai Kejujuran sebagai Model Pendidikan dari Orang Tua Berbasis Perjanjian Lama
Education influences a person's growth and development. One of the determining factors is the environment. The environment is a very important factor after nature, without the support of environmental factors in the development process to realize the potential that exists in children does not occur properly. One of them is the family environment. This research aims to analyze the role of the family in instilling honesty values in children. Literature study method is used in this research. The results state that to achieve Christian values, it is necessary to have education in the family that shapes children's characteristics to be honest. Parental example is one of the important aspects to instill honesty in children, which includes: exemplary attitudes, actions, and words of parents based on consistent and transparent truth.
Pendidikan berpengaruh dalam pertumbuhan dan perkembangan seseorang. Salah satu faktor yang menentukan ialah lingkungan. Lingkungan merupakan faktor yang sangat penting setelah alam, tanpa adanya dukungan dari faktor lingkungan dalam proses perkembangan untuk mewujudkan potensi yang ada pada diri anak tidak terjadi dengan baik. Metode studi pustaka digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa untuk mencapai nilai-nilai Kristiani, maka perlu adanya pendidikan dalam keluarga yang membentuk karakteristik anak menjadi jujur. Keteladanan orang tua menjadi salah satu aspek penting untuk menanamkan kejujuran pada anak, yang meliputi: keteladanan sikap, tindakan, dan perkataan orang tua yang dilandasi oleh kebenaran yang konsisten dan transparan

Torah are the norms or rules of life of every aspect in the society of Israelites. It is associated also with the covenant which made between God and His chosen nation, the Israelite. In the journey of history, this Torah was contextualized with the Jewish people. The Jews interpret the Torah as a visible instrument for them to lead them to obtain eternal life in the future. However, the Pharisees and scribes understood the Torah in a positivistic way. Therefore, based on the text of Matthew 5:17-20, and by using qualitative methods with a literature approach, the article will review and discuss Jesus as a figure who progressively realized the Torah. The basic for the progressive realization of Torah is love. Furthermore, the progressive realization of Torah makes law in the sense of humanizing the human beings
Strategi Pemimpin Kristen dalam Penguatan Iman Jemaat di Tengah Kasus Konversi Agama
This study aims to discuss the strategies carried out by Christian leaders (in this case the Pastor) in strengthening the faith of the congregation in the midst of religious conversion cases that occur in Simangumban sub-district, North Tapanuli district. Christian leaders (in this case the Pastor) have a role to strengthen the faith of the congregation in the midst of cases of religious conversion. The method used in this research is the case study method. The results showed that Christian leaders have carried out various strategies to strengthen the faith of their congregation members, both preventive strategies through faith debriefing since Sunday School, worship and categorical meetings, sermons, catechization, pastoral visits, debriefing of Elders, as well as repressive strategies through the provision of church tactics law and the reading of the Panguhuman na Dokdok Situtu Agenda in front of the entire congregation to members of the congregation who converted
Peran Guru Sekolah Minggu dalam Menanamkan Nilai-nilai Moderasi Beragama pada Anak
It is very important to teach religious moderation to children from an early age, in this case Sunday school at the Paul Congregation TWM Manado, as one of the congregations located in the center of the city of Manado. Religious moderation leads to an attitude of life that is open, friendly, tolerant, and not extreme in building relationships with fellow human beings of different religions. In this regard, Sunday school teachers play an important role in guiding and teaching children about religious moderation. This study aims to find out the understanding of Sunday school teachers at the Paul Congregation TWM Manado regarding religious moderation. The research method used is qualitative by using literature studies and interviews. The results of the study show that Sunday school teachers' understanding of religious moderation still needs to be developed because according to all informants, religious moderation is not familiar for them. Therefore, training on religious moderation is an urgent need for Sunday school teachers at the Paul Congregation TWM Manado.
 
Gerakan Literasi Sekolah: Sumber Literasi Keagamaan untuk Pendidikan Agama Katolik
The Catholic Church has the authority to determine and oversee the content of the Catholic Religious Education curriculum. In alignment with the broader literacy movement in schools, it is essential that the materials used for religious literacy adhere to the doctrinal teachings of the Catholic Church. This study examines the key sources that must be considered when preparing materials for Catholic Religious Education in schools, focusing specifically on religious literacy. This qualitative research draws on existing literature, including previous studies and relevant documents. The findings suggest that Catholic Religious Education is inherently intertwined with theological reflection. As a component of theology, Catholic Religious Education provides a vital space for faith reflection, thereby contributing to the enhancement of Catholic religious literacy. In this context, the literacy movement within Catholic Religious Education must prioritize the foundational sources of the Catholic faith: Sacred Scripture, Sacred Tradition, and the teachings of the Magisterium. Additionally, the learner’s lived context should be recognized as an indispensable source, as it plays a crucial role in shaping their understanding of the faith
Moderasi dan Literasi: Militansi Pendidikan Kristen dalam Menghadapi Tantangan Ujaran Kebencian di Era Digital
Moderation and literacy are effective approaches integrated in Christian religious education to counteract conflict in the digital space. Christian religious education has an important role in shaping the character and morals of Christians in a social environment that emphasizes the values of love, tolerance and mutual respect. However, in this connected digital era, new challenges arise in the form of hate speech that can threaten peace and unity. Hate speech on social media also damages the spiritual development of individuals. This research uses a literature data collection method with a descriptive qualitative approach. It found that the principles of moderation teach the importance of avoiding extremism and communicating wisely and are supported by the principles of digital literacy that help learners to critically understand, analyze, and appreciate the information they encounter. Solutive recommendations in the form of moderation and literacy principles in addressing the apparent problems in this topic will be elaborated by quoting Bible verses that emphasize emotion management, time management, and awareness of the impact of extremism
Ritual Bancakan Sepasaran Bayi sebagai Ruang Liminalitas untuk Membangun Guyub Rukun Masyarakat di Kartasura
The era of globalisation, which is marked by the sophistication of information technology, has affected the fading of local traditions, including the bancakan sepasaran bayi ritual, and the weakening of guyub rukun. Religious fundamentalism and radicalism contribute to undermining guyub rukun in society. Building guyub rukun can be done through the bancakan sepasaran bayi ritual. This article aims to describe and analyse the formation of liminal space in the bancakan sepasaran bayi ritual, which contributes to building guyub rukun in Kartasura. The research method used is post-positivism qualitative method. Interviews were conducted using purposive sampling technique to families who were considered to have the information needed in the research. The result is that through the liminal space contained in the bancakan sepasaran bayi ritual, the community is prepared to build guyub rukun in Kartasura
