Get PDFThis research aims to evaluate and enhance IT governance at Universitas XYZ by implementing the COBIT 2019 framework. The study acknowledges the growing significance of technology in operational efficiency and productivity. IT governance ensures the alignment of IT with organizational goals, managing resources, and mitigating risks. The methodology includes collecting primary and secondary data through observations, interviews, and document analysis. The research framework focuses on 11 design factors of COBIT 2019, assessing Universitas XYZ’s IT capabilities and identifying gaps. Findings reveal that Universitas XYZ prioritizes cost leadership and innovation, with a strong focus on quality financial information. The risk profile indicates substantial impact areas like IT investment and operational incidents, while the role of IT is classified as critical yet not fully integrated into strategic innovation. The IT sourcing model leans towards outsourcing, and traditional implementation methods are predominant. The study identifies APO10 (Managed Vendor Relationships) and BAI01 (Managed Program) as priority objectives. The capability levels for these objectives indicate areas for improvement, particularly in vendor management. The research concludes with recommendations for enhancing IT governance through strategic resource allocation and staff development, aiming to elevate Universitas XYZ’s IT maturity and competitive edge
Student Perceptions of Assessment Practices in High School Social Studies: Implications for Teaching and Learning
Get PDFThis study aims to explore students' perceptions of assessment practices in social studies subjects consisting of Economics, Geography, History and Sociology at SMAN 2 Tanggul and their implications for teaching and learning. Using a qualitative case study approach, this research collected data through in-depth interviews and classroom observations. A total of 30 students from grades X, XI, and XII were purposively selected to ensure the diversity of their experiences and views. The results showed that students tend to favour formative assessments that provide constructive feedback and opportunities to improve over summative assessments that are often perceived as adding pressure. Positive perceptions of formative assessment were associated with increased motivation to learn and active participation in class. In contrast, negative perceptions of summative assessments that are perceived as unfair and overly pressurised negatively impact student motivation and confidence. This research reveals that diverse and innovative assessment practices are needed to accommodate students' learning needs more effectively. The implications of these findings emphasise the importance for teachers to develop assessment strategies that are fair, useful and responsive to students' needs, which can ultimately improve the quality of teaching and learning outcomes in social studies classes

Concurrently, qualitative data, gathered through interviews and focus groups, offers a nuanced understanding of the experiences and perceptions shaping engagement. The study’s findings reveal a complex interplay of factors, including the quality of digital content, interaction opportunities, feedback mechanisms, and individual learner characteristics. Notably, the research highlights the critical role of personalized learning experiences and the need for robust support systems. The discussion synthesizes these insights, outlining practical strategies for educators and institutions to enhance engagement in e-learning. These strategies encompass the adoption of adaptive learning technologies, fostering collaborative learning communities, and providing targeted support for diverse learner needs. Pemetaan Bibliometrik Studi Kelayakan Bisnis: Tren dan Pendekatan Terkini bagi Keberlanjutan Bisnis (2019-2023)
Get PDFDi era globalisasi yang berubah dengan cepat, inovasi dan kemajuan ekonomi semakin didorong oleh kewirausahaan. Dengan menggunakan metode bibliometrik, penelitian ini mencoba menyelidiki dinamika terkini dalam bidang studi kelayakan usaha. Metode ini memudahkan untuk memahami pola penerbitan, kemitraan penulis, dan kontribusi penting yang dibuat baru-baru ini terhadap literatur manajemen. Panel pencarian Scopus di Publish or Perish menyediakan data untuk penelitian ini, termasuk artikel yang diterbitkan antara tahun 2019 dan 2023. Perangkat lunak VOSviewer digunakan untuk penyelidikan guna memetakan hubungan antara topik dan jaringan kolaborasi. Temuan ini menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam publikasi mengenai studi kelayakan bisnis, dan kata kunci yang paling populer adalah ”system”, ”analysis, dan ”approach” Sepuluh cluster utama diidentifikasi melalui pemetaan; analisis jaringan mengungkapkan hubungan yang kuat antara penulis dan institusi, sedangkan analisis kepadatan mengidentifikasi domain penelitian yang belum dieksplorasi, yaitu “hybrid approach” (pendekatan hybrid) sebagai aspek tambahan dalam studi kelayakan sebagai strategi keberlanjutan suatu bisnis. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan informasi mendalam kepada para praktisi dan akademisi sehingga dapat membantu mereka membuat rencana perusahaan yang lebih kreatif dan sukses. Studi ini juga memberikan saran untuk penelitian tambahan, seperti memperluas kumpulan data dan menggunakan teknik analisis yang lebih menyeluruh

Kelurahan Ketanggung merupakan instansi Pemerintah di tingkat paling bawah yang melayani masyarakat atau warga untuk mengurus Administrasi Kependudukan. Administrasi kependudukan yaitu serangkaian kegiatan dalam penerbitan dokumen atau berkas yang diterbitkan oleh pihak desa berdasarkan permohonan warga desa atau penduduk untuk pengantar ke instansi pemerintah ke tingkat selanjutnya. Dalam hal pelaksanaan pencatatan maupun penerbitan Administrasi dokumen, Kelurahan Ketanggung masih menggunakan sistem yang diproses secara manual dari pengisian formulir hingga penerbitan dokumen kependudukan. Hal tersebut dapat mengakibatkan timbulnya masalah pada saat penginputan data, kelengkapan data, serta menyebabkan proses penerbitan yang akan memakan waktu yang lama. Oleh sebab itu Kelurahan memerlukan solusi pengembangan sistem Administrasi Kependudukan yang akan mempermudah pegawai maupun masyarakat untuk mengurus dokumen penting dengan hasil yang maksimal

This study also aims to analyze the influence of Product Attributes, Variety Seeking Behavior and Promotion partially (individually) on Brand Switching Behavior. The object of this research is IM3 Ooredoo Cellular Card and the subject of this research is Yogyakarta’s people who have used another brand of cellular card and switched brands to IM3 Ooredoo Cellular Card. The number of samples in this study were 140 respondents who had been determined by purposive sampling. The tool used is Multiple Linear Regression Analysis (SPSS). Based on multiple linear regression analysis, the results obtained that Product Attributes, Variety Seeking Behavior and Promotion together (simultaneously) have a positive and significant influence on brand switching behavior. Usability Analysis of The Student Service Information System at The Faculty of Engineering Tadulako University Using Heuristic Evolution and The System Usability Scale (SUS)
Get PDFThe Student Service Information System is defined as a system designed to assist students, faculty, and administration at Tadulako University's Faculty of Engineering in managing various academic aspects. This research identifies issues or obstacles users face while utilizing the website. The usability evaluation employs the Heuristic Evaluation method and the System Usability Scale (SUS). Based on the research conducted with 100 respondents, all active students at Tadulako University, the usability measurements revealed significant findings. According to the Heuristic Evaluation method, which utilizes 10 principles, areas requiring improvement were identified in qualifications B1.2, B3.3, B8.2, B10.2, and B10.3. Recommendations for enhancements include adding a notification feature, ensuring the search function is easily discoverable, selecting appropriate color combinations, and improving the placement of the user guide. The System Usability Scale yielded a score of 50, categorizing the website as "OK" on the adjective scale, "D" on the grade scale, and "Marginal" on the acceptability scale, with a net promoter score indicating a "Passive" reception

Get PDFThe C4.5 algorithm is a machine learning method based on decision trees, which has the ability to predict categories based on attributes present in the data. This research aims to address issues by implementing the C4.5 algorithm in forming a recommendation system for providing financial assistance to Homeless People during Travel (OTDP) in the Social Service of Cirebon City. This research process involves three main stages. First, data collection is carried out regarding OTDP who have received financial assistance previously, as well as related attributes such as age, address, travel purpose, and occupation. The second stage involves data processing to clean and reorganize the dataset to fit the C4.5 Algorithm format. Finally, it is applied to form a prediction that will provide recommendations for financial assistance to OTDP. OTDP is a vulnerable group that often requires social assistance from the government. In Cirebon City, the Social Service is responsible for providing financial assistance to support their travel. However, determining the right recipients for assistance is a challenge because the number of OTDP in need of assistance can vary over time. Therefore, it is hoped that the results of this research will provide a more efficient and accurate recommendation system in determining financial assistance recipients for OTDP, with a focus on the "Short Distance" category with a grant amount of "Rp120,000" and "Long Distance" with a grant amount of "Rp150,000". With this recommendation system, it is expected that the Social Service of Cirebon City can become more responsive in providing assistance to OTDP groups in need

Get PDFPemerintah terus mendorong masyarakat Indonesia untuk memanfaatkan Energi bersih. Contoh dari penggunaan energi bersih adalah dengan menggunakan energi matahari menjadi energi listrik. Penggunaan energi matahari menjadi energi listrik dapat dengan menggunakan panel surya dengan sistem Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Surya (PLTS) dengan sistem off grid. Kelurahan Meras berlokasi diarea kota Manado yang secara potensi memiliki paparan energi surya yang baik. Selain itu terdapat fasilitas umum seperti Gedung gereja, Kantor kelurahan, Halte dan fasilitas lainnya yang membutuhkan energi listrik. Fasilitas-fasilitas ini berpotensi besar untuk menggunakan sistem PLTS dalam pemanfaatan energi listrik. Tantangannya adalah, masyarakat kelurahan Meras belum begitu familiar dengan sistem PLTS yang menggunakan Panel Surya. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan tentang pemanfaatan energi surya melalui instalasi PLTS dengan sistem off grid. Workshop akan menggunakan Alat Praktek PLTS sebagai sarana pelatihan bagi masyarakat. Melalui alat ini, pengetahuan akan pemanfaatan energi surya dapat berkembang. Daya minat pemanfaatan energi bersih diprediksi akan tumbuh Ketika ada keuntungan secara finansial juga dalam manajemen penggunaan energi. Kegiatan pelatihan akan berupa workshop instalasi PLTS dan dintegrasikan dengan analisis keekonomian dalam pemanfaatan energi bersih
