    Front Office Service Recovery Di Hotel Wyndham Palembang

    One way to find out guests' needs and wants is by listening to complaints. Complaints are usually received by hotels when a service failure has occurred. These results show that service recovery is a complex process where everything must be taken into account in ensuring that guests are happy when they check out. In this study, the determination of informants was carried out using purposive sampling technique. Informants in the study were determined to be parties who were considered capable of providing the information needed, namely Front Office employees at Wyndham Opi Hotel, Palembang. The purpose of this research is to analyze optimal guest satisfaction is important in operations in the Front Office Department at Wyndham Opi Hotel, Palembang, if guests have complaints during their stay at Wyndham Opi Hotel must be given a solution to their discomfort.     Pengembangan Potensi Wisata Hiking Di Curug Cikawah, Desa Ciasmara Kabupaten Bogor

    This research discusses the development of hiking tourism potential at Curug Cikawah, Ciasmara Village, Bogor Regency. With the growing trend of special interest tourism, the development of hiking tourism in the area is expected to provide a variety of tourist attractions and have a positive impact on the economy of the local community. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach with observation, interviews, documentation and SWOT analysis methods. The results of the SWOT analysis show strengths such as a beautiful atmosphere and local guides, weaknesses such as locations far from the crowds, opportunities such as sports tourism trends, and threats that need to be anticipated. The strategy for developing hiking tourism at Curug Cikawah was also prepared based on the results of the SWOT analysis. It is hoped that the development of hiking tourism can provide benefits for developers, local communities and tourists visiting the area.Penelitian ini membahas tentang pengembangan potensi wisata hiking di Curug Cikawah, Desa Ciasmara Kabupaten Bogor. Dengan tren wisata minat khusus yang sedang berkembang, pengembangan wisata hiking di daerah tersebut diharapkan dapat memberikan variasi daya tarik wisata dan berdampak positif pada ekonomi masyarakat setempat. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan analisis SWOT. Hasil analisis SWOT menunjukkan kekuatan seperti suasana asri dan pemandu lokal, kelemahan seperti lokasi yang jauh dari keramaian, peluang seperti tren wisata olahraga, dan ancaman yang perlu diantisipasi. Strategi pengembangan wisata hiking di Curug Cikawah juga disusun berdasarkan hasil analisis SWOT. Diharapkan pengembangan wisata hiking ini dapat memberikan manfaat bagi pengembang, masyarakat lokal, dan para wisatawan yang berkunjung ke daerah tersebut

    In tourism development, one thing that has a very important role is the Human Resources (HR) aspect. Success in tourism management and development requires quality human resources, which are expected to be able to provide added value to the community at a tourist attraction. Tourism Human Resources includes several stakeholders including tourists/tourists and workers (employment). The development of tourist attractions requires the role of all parties. This research aims to provide an overview of the extent of the role of human resources owned by the Margacinta Tourism Village in efforts to develop its tourism village. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach and uses technical analysis using interviews, observation and literature study. The results of the research concluded that the human resources owned by the Margacinta Tourism Village have played a sufficient role, but there is a need for coaching and guidance in efforts to develop the Margacinta Tourism Village in the future.Dalam pengembangan pariwisata, salah satu yang memiliki peran yang sangat penting adalah pada aspek Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM), keberhasilan dalam pengelolaan dan pengembangan pariwisata diperlukan SDM yang berkualitas, yang diharapkan mampu memberikan nilai tambah bagi masyarakat pada sebuah objek wisata. SDM pariwisata mencakup beberapa stakeholders diantaranya adalah wisatawan/pelaku wisata (tourist) dan sebagai pekerja (employment). Pengembangan objek wisata diperlukan peran semua pihak yang menikmatinya. Penelitian ini bertujuan memberikan gambaran terkait dengan sejauh mana peran sumber daya manusia yang dimiliki oleh Desa Wisata Margacinta ini dalam upaya pengembangan desa wisatanya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif dan menggunakan analisis dengan teknis analisis wawancara, observasi dan studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa sumber daya manusia yang dimiliki oleh Desa Wisata Margacinta sudah cukup berperan namun perlu adanya pembinaan dan bimbingan dalam upaya pengembangan Desa Wisata Margacinta dimasa yang akan datang

    Analisis Persepsi Konsumen Terhadap Produk Kuliner Pindang Meranjat

    The research on consumer perception of Pindang Meranjat was conducted at the original location where this culinary product originated, namely Ogan Ilir Regency, South Sumatra Province. The study was conducted using a quantitative approach through four organoleptic variables, consisting of color, aroma, texture, and taste, on the three main parts of the pindang product, namely the side dish, broth, and condiments, with 12 indicators. Primary data were collected through questionnaires from 55 respondents, consisting of 49 consumers who repurchased Pindang and 6 experts. The method used is Importance Performance Analysis, which consists of the Suitability Index approach and mapping through a Cartesian diagram. The research results show that out of the four variables, the color variable is identified as the only variable that meets the average level of consumer perception and expectation; the aroma variable is the variable that does not meet both levels; and the other two variables, texture, and taste, only meet the expectation level. Furthermore, it was found that three indicators are the main priorities for improving the quality of the Pindang Meranjat product, in order of highest priority: improvement of the broth texture, broth taste, and the aroma of the side dish of the product in question. The next potential variable for improving quality is the improvement of the condiment texture. Through these results, it is hoped that they can serve as a basis for structured improvements so that the quality of the Pindang Meranjat product increases to meet consumer expectations as an authentic culinary product with the potential to become a culinary tourism attraction from Ogan Ilir Regency.Penelitian persepsi konsumen terhadap Pindang Meranjat ini dilakukan di lokasi asal dimana produk kuliner ini bermula yaitu Kabupaten Ogan Ilir, Provinsi Sumatera Selatan. Penelitian dilakukan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif melalui empat variabel organoleptic yaitu warna, aroma, tekstur dan rasa, pada tiga bagian utama produk pindang yaitu lauk, kuah dan kondimen, dengan total 12 indikator. Data primer dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dari 55 responden yang terdiri dari 49 konsumen yang melakukan konsumsi ulang pindang (re-purchasement) dan 6 orang ahli. Metode yang digunakan adalah Importance Performance Analysis, terdiri atas pendekatan Indeks Tingkat Kesesuaian dan pemetaan melalui diagram kartesius. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan dari empat variabel, teridentifikasi variabel warna menjadi satu-satunya variabel yang memenuhi rerata tingkat persepsi dan tingkat ekspektasi konsumen; variabel aroma merupakan variabel yang tidak memenuhi kedua tingkat tersebut; dan dua variabel lainnya, tekstur dan rasa hanya memenuhi tingkat ekspektasi. Lebih lanjut, diketahui tiga indikator yang menjadi prioritas utama perbaikan kualitas produk Pindang Meranjat, secara berurutan berdasarkan skala prioritas tertinggi yaitu perbaikan terhadap tekstur kuah, rasa kuah dan aroma lauk dari produk dimaksud. Variabel susulan yang berpotensi berikutnya dalam meningkatkan kualitas adalah perbaikan pada tekstur kondimen. Melalui hasil ini, diharapkan dapat menjadi dasar perbaikan terstruktur agar kualitas produk Pindang Meranjat meningkat dalam rangka memenuhi ekspektasi konsumen sebagai produk kuliner asli yang berpotensi menjadi wisata kuliner dari Kabupaten Ogan Ilir

    Services and management tactics for homestays work together to create a network of mutually beneficial ties that affect visitors' decisions to stay. The players in the homestay industry in North Tapanuli Regency's Muara District are fully aware of the significance of the guesthouse's definition of service in guiding visitor decisions so they may establish a higher economic standard than the homestay industry. Related success in the development of homestays to draw in visitors or tourists with five criteria, such as creating a homestay coordinator, forging alliances with relevant parties, carrying out training for the caliber of human resources, offering goods and tour packages to hold tourists, and holding promotions.  So that the decision of visiting guests to stay in homestays in Muara District, Tapanuli Regency, may also be a practical outcome of strategic management. The quantitative approach method is the analytical methodology applied in this study. where the information is produced as numbers, which are then processed and examined to provide the scientific knowledge hidden within them. The results of this investigation also lead to a conclusion. The service has a favorable and substantial impact on the variable (Y) of guest decisions to visit homestays in the Muara District, North Tapanuli Regency, as can be shown in part from the variable (X.1). In Muara District, North Tapanuli Regency, the variable (Y) of Guest Decisions to Visit Homestays is positively and significantly impacted by strategic management (X2). The variables (Y) Guest Decisions Visiting Homestays in Muara District, North Tapanuli Regency are influenced by the variables (X.1) Service and (X.2) Strategic Management combined.  Dalam memengaruhi keputusan pengunjung, pelayanan dan pendekatan pengelolaan homestay saling berkontribusi untuk membangun sistem hubungan timbal balik. Para pemilik homestay di Kecamatan Muara Kabupaten Tapanuli Utara menyadari betapa pentingnya pelayanan pada homestay untuk membuat keputusan tamu berkunjung, yang pada gilirannya dapat meningkatkan taraf ekonomi bisnis mereka. Selain itu, para pemilik homestay belum sepenuhnya memahami pentingnya strategi pengelolaan homestay, yang juga akan membantu kemajuan mereka dalam mendatangkan tamu atau wisatawan dengan 5 kreter. Dengan demikian, implementasi nyata dari strategi pengelolaan dapat memengaruhi pilihan pengunjung yang menginap di homestay di Kecamatan Muara Kabupaten Tapanuli Utara. Dalam penelitian ini, pendekatan kuantitatif digunakan. di mana data berupa angka diproses dan diperiksa untuk menghasilkan informasi ilmiah yang tersembunyi. Sebagaimana diamati secara parsial dari variabel independen dalam kesimpulan penelitian ini, pelayanan (X.1) berdampak positif dan signifikan terhadap variabel (Y) keputusan tamu untuk menginap di homestay di Kecamatan Muara Kabupaten Tapanuli Utara.     Batu Lumbang Mangrove Ecotourism boasts a variety of natural, cultural, and social potentials that can attract tourists. However, this potential isn't fully supported by the readiness of facilities and infrastructure. This research aims to uncover the potential of mangrove ecotourism as a tourist destination. The research employs a descriptive qualitative analysis method. Data collection, processing, and analysis were carried out based on the six components of tourism, attraction, accessibility, amenities, package, activities, and ancillary. In conclusion, this study underscores the potential of mangroves as a tourism destination. However, the identified obstacles through the 6A approach underline the need for comprehensive management efforts to enhance the area's infrastructure and facilities, in alignment with the principles of ecotourism and sustainable tourism. By effectively and sustainably managing tourism destinations, the local community stands to benefit.Ekowisata Mangrove Batu Lumbang memiliki beragam potensi alam, budaya dan sosial. Namun, hal tersebut tidak diiringi dengan kesiapan sarana, prasarana dan fasilitas yang dimiliki. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengungkapkan potensi yang dimiliki Batu Lumbang menjadi destinasi wisata. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara terhadap empat informan yaitu pihak pengelola, nelayan dan dua pengunjung. Observasi lokasi dilakukan langsung ke lokasi dengan melakukan kegiatan susur hutan bakau menggunakan kano. Analisis dokumen dilakukan guna melengkapi data yang diperlukan dari publikasi.  Pengumpulan, pengolahan dan analisis data dilakukan berdasarkan komponen pariwisata attraction, accessibility, amenity, package, activities, ancillary. Simpulan penelitian ini mengungkapkan Batu Lumbang memiliki potensi untuk menjadi destinasi wisata. Namun berbagai kendala yang telah diungkapkan melalui pendekatan 6A mengharuskan pihak pengelola berupaya optimal untuk melengkapi sarana prasarana dan fasilitas kawasan berdasarkan konsep ekowisata dan pariwisata berkelanjutan.     District is one of the sub-districts in Karo Regency, where this sub-district is one of the northern parts of Lake Toba. Its location in the area of ​​a former volcanic eruption makes this area fertile with agriculture. Strategic geographical conditions add to the extraordinary natural wealth. In this district, there is one of the iconic tourist destinations in North Sumatra, namely Sipisopiso Waterfall. Agricultural potential in the sub-district is one of the producers of fruits and vegetables in North Sumatera such as: Oranges, Avocado, Mango, Chili, Potatoes, Tomatoes, Cabbage and other horticultural crops that thrive. With an average altitude above 1,500 meters above sea level, it adds to the potential for agriculture in this area. Besides agriculture, this sub-district has also grown a lot of new tourist destinations such as theme parks, resorts and natural attractions. Tourist visits are quite crowded every weekend and holiday. This condition has not been utilized optimally, especially in the agro-tourism sector, where agro-tourism is still developed simply by selling agricultural products on the roadside without any agricultural education process to tourists. The potential for agro-tourism is very open to be developed as one of the agro-tourism areas in Karo district. The lack of education and training in the field of agro-tourism to the community is one of the main obstacles. Potensi pertanian di kecamatan merupakan salah satu penghasi buah dan sayuran di Sumare Utara seperti : Jeruk, Markisa, Alpokat, Mangga, Cabai, Kentang, Tomat, Kol dan tanaman holtikulura lainnya yang tumbuh subur. Dengan ketinggian rata- rata diatas 1.500 meter diatas permukaan laut menambah semakin potensinya pertanian di daerah ini. Disamping pertanian di kecamatan ini juga banyak sekali tumbuh destinasi destinasi wisata baru seperti taman tema, resor dan atraksi alam. Kunjungan wisatawan cukup ramai setiap akhir pekan maupun hari libur. Kondisi ini belum dimanfaatkan secara maksimal khususnya di sector Agrowisata, dimana agrowisatab masih dikembangkan secara sederhana sebatas menjual hasil pertanian di pinggir jalan tanpa ada proses edukasi pertanian kepada wisatawan. Potensi Agrowisata yang dimiliki sangat terbuka untuk dikembangkan sebagai salah satu daerah agrowisata di kabupaten Karo. Minimnya Pendidikan dan pelatihan di bidang agrowisata kepada masyarakat sebagai salah satu penghambat utama.     Analisis Kebutuhan Pelatihan Bahasa Prancis Bagi Pelaku Pariwisata Di Nusa Penida

    This research is intended to review and characterize the French language training requirements for Nusa Penida tour operators to develop their foreign language skills. In Klungkung Regency, Nusa Penida Island which is located in the south of Bali Island is managed as a Regency. Dubbed “Bali Is Called Nusa Penida The Best Destination for Backpackers,” it ranks first out of 20 countries as the biggest destination for tourists worldwide, beating Vietnam, Madagascar, and other ASEAN countries, according to the New Dublin Based Online and Hostel-Booking Platform.                Comparing the number of visitors from various European countries to Bali from 2016 to 2020, the number of French tourists occupies the top position. Likewise, the island of Nusa Penida sees many French visitors. The following questions were included in a questionnaire given to 50 respondents: What topic of French are you most interested in learning? What kind of French language education are you looking for? What French term or verb would you like to learn first? What kind of substance do you need? What learning method do you prefer?             According to the responses, speaking and oral communication skills were cited by 70% of respondents as their top learning priority, followed by outreach by 50% of respondents and courses by 36%. 44% of respondents identified greetings as a function of the language they wanted to learn, while 24% chose greetings and giving information. 48% of respondents said they wanted travel information, and 26% said they wanted information about food. 34% of respondents chose reading and writing as their preferred learning method, while 28% chose to listen.Penelitian ini bermaksud untuk mengkaji dan mengkarakterisasi persyaratan pelatihan bahasa Prancis bagi pelaku wisata Nusa Penida untuk mengembangkan kemampuan bahasa asing seseorang. Di Kabupaten Klungkung, Pulau Nusa Penida yang terletak di sebelah selatan Pulau Bali dikelola sebagai Kabupaten.     Simamora Village, Baktiraja District, Humbang Hasundutan Regency is one of the areas in North Sumatra which has great tourism potential. Simamora Village has an attractive natural beauty with shady trees, cool air, and beautiful scenery. Simamora Village also has unique arts and cultural activities, such as traditional dances and gondang music. However, tourism development in Simamora Village is not yet optimal and not sustainable. Therefore, this study aims to develop community-based sustainable tourism in Simamora Village, Baktiraja District, Humbang Hasundutan Regency. The analysis technique used in this study is research that produces descriptive data in the form of written or spoken words from people and observed behavior. Meanwhile, descriptive research is a form of research aimed at describing or describing existing phenomena, both natural phenomena and human engineering. There are also conclusions from this study. The tourism potential of Simamora Village is very large, especially natural and cultural tourism. However, this potential has not been properly maximized due to a lack of attention and support from the government and the local community. The development of community-based sustainable tourism in Simamora Village can be carried out by strengthening the community's role in the management and development of tourism, so as to improve the economic welfare of the local community. In developing community-based sustainable tourism, it is necessary to carry out a participatory approach between the government, the community and other tourism actors. Strengthening the local economy can be done through developing unique and sustainable tourism products, developing homestays and local restaurants, and empowering local communities as tourism business actors. Desa Simamora memiliki keindahan alam yang menarik dengan pepohonan yang rindang, udara yang sejuk, dan pemandangan yang indah. Desa Simamora juga memiliki kegiatan seni dan budaya yang unik, seperti tarian tradisional dan musik gondang. Namun pengembangan wisata di Desa Simamora belum optimal dan tidak berkelanjutan. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan pariwisata berkelanjutan berbasis masyarakat di Desa Simamora Kecamatan Baktiraja Kabupaten Humbang Hasundutan. Teknik analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian yang menghasilkan data deskriptif berupa kata-kata tertulis atau lisan dari orang-orang dan perilaku yang diamati. Sedangkan penelitian deskriptif adalah suatu bentuk penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan atau mendeskripsikan fenomena yang ada, baik fenomena alam maupun rekayasa manusia. Ada juga kesimpulan dari penelitian ini. Potensi wisata Desa Simamora sangat besar terutama wisata alam dan budaya. Namun potensi tersebut belum tergarap dengan baik karena kurangnya perhatian dan dukungan dari pemerintah dan masyarakat setempat. Pengembangan pariwisata berkelanjutan berbasis masyarakat di Desa Simamora dapat dilakukan dengan penguatan peran masyarakat dalam pengelolaan dan pengembangan pariwisata, sehingga dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan ekonomi masyarakat setempat. Dalam mengembangkan pariwisata berkelanjutan berbasis masyarakat perlu dilakukan pendekatan partisipatif antara pemerintah, masyarakat dan pelaku pariwisata lainnya. Penguatan ekonomi lokal dapat dilakukan melalui pengembangan produk wisata yang unik dan berkelanjutan, pengembangan homestay dan restoran lokal, serta pemberdayaan masyarakat lokal sebagai pelaku usaha pariwisata.     The real sector is one of those places with huge tourist potential and natural resources. Each tourist activity was taken, a hotel became very much needed, since the original stopover from a trip to a tourist destination. The number of accommodations already enabled the number of incoming tourists. But the number of accommodations has not reached a target in accommodating living rooms so the purpose of this research is to know the potential and importance of accommodation in the lrest district. The type of research that is used is a qualitative kind of research and as for the data-collection techniques done by the way a questionnaire does an interview and a questionnaire. Whereas the technical data analysis used is using swot analysis (strength, fatigue, oppotunities and threats). Based on the above research, potential accommodation in supporting tourism development in the district will greatly contribute to meeting the needs of the visiting tourists as well as the development of tourism in the Lahat district.The real sector is one of those places with huge tourist potential and natural resources.
