The writer examines the concept of the Church based on Acts 2: 41-47 and its application of the church life in the digital era. This research departs from the writer's anxiety in seeing the practice in church today. With the development of technology that is increasingly accelerating and unstoppable, it inevitably challenges to build a digital community but does not break the usual meetings. The writer hopes that the church will rediscover the spirit of the early church that is active in fellowship, sharing with one another and eating together. The research method used is a qualitative method with a hermeneutic approach. The hermeneutic approach includes three interrelated subjects namely: First, the world of texts. Second, the world of authors. Third, the world of readers. Based on studies conducted by the writer, the church is required to be more flexible in following the various developments offered by technology. The presence of technology is very helpful in building relationships with one another as it has been revealed in this paper empirically. Social media is used as a mean of networking in building a church community both learning together, sharing love and eating together. Digital technology does not replace humans but as a means to connect with one another through social media

This worship model is believed to enable the Holy Spirit to work as widely as possible for the congregation, so that the events of ecstasy, glossolalia, testimony about having a vision are not considered strange any more.Due to the celebratory nature of worship, suitable songs and music are chosen. The songs are contemporary and not hymn-shaped; the musical accompaniment format is a complete band that is supported by sophisticated sound system, the worship procedure is simple and is led by a worship leader (WL). However, to build a musical arrangement which is able to support congregants to sing in a charismatic pentecostal worship is not easy because musicians are required to be able to appreciate songs, have adequate skills, and good musical knowledge.The purpose of this study is to obtain an appropriate method in teaching charismatic pentecostal music to novice musicians

Get PDFThe church under the arrangement of the Holy Spirit is given various gifts of service to fulfill all of its duties sufficiently and efficiently. Understanding of service is only the work of pastors or servants of God is not entirely wrong. Actually a pastor or servant of God is those who have a calling or commitment to give their lives to serve God. The Book of Acts was chosen because to expose the operation of the gifts of ministry by the Holy Spirit with high intensity in the service of the apostles or church leaders. The implementation or operation of the gifts of ministries is expressed both in supernatural manifestations, in the motivation of ministries and also a special service’s call or office in a balanced manner. Preliminary research on the pastors of the Congregation has a tendency towards degradation of ministry which involves Holy Spirit and His Supranatural power in it. Because the final educational background and ministry orientation tends to millennials have has the potential to change their understanding the supernatural ministry with the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Results of Testing Hypotheses Gifts of ministry based on The Book of Acts among the Bethel Tabernacle Church’s Pastor in Central Java is in the medium category. This is indicated by the interval variable (Y) value between 417.8 - 433, 9. The values in the same category are indicated by the three rest dimensions. The second testing’s hypothesis, looking for the dominant dimension is done by a two-stage test, namely: regression significance test and Binary segmentation (CRT) analysis test. The Dimension of The "Manifestation of the Holy Spirit" gift are most dominant with contributions of 90, 2% (r2 = 0.902). The third hypothesis, to find the most dominant background is Classification and regression trees (CRT) test at the 0.05 significance level. KEMARAHAN MENURUT KITAB AMSAL DAN KEHARMONISAN PERNIKAHAN PEMIMPIN GEREJA
Get PDFAbstract The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of couples understanding of anger based on the Book of Proverbs towards of marriage the leader of the Bethel Tabernacle Church of Christ Alfa Omega (GBT KAO) in the Central Java Region. The respondents of this study were 150 GBT KAO leader couples in Jepara, Pati, Semarang, Temanggung, Salatiga and Solo. Based on the correlational test using the Pearson formula, the correlation coefficient is 0.417 with a significance (P-Value) of 0,000. This states that there is a positive and strong influence between the understanding of the couples about anger based on the book of proverbs on the harmony of the marriage of the leader of the Bethel Tabernacle Church of Christ Alfa Omega in the Central Java region. The regression results between variables X and Y can also be seen that the magnitude of the coefficient of determination variance (r2) is 0.173, which means that the Understanding of the couples About Anger According to the Book of Proverbs contributes to the Marriage Harmony. So that the better the understanding of the couples about anger Based on the Book of Proverbs, the better the interpretation of the Marriage Harmony Leader of Bethel Tabernacle Church of Christ Alfa Omega in the Central Java Region
Abstrak Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemahaman pasangan tentang kemarahan berdasarkan Kitab Amsal terhadap pernikahan pemimpin Gereja Tabernakel Betel Kristus Alfa Omega (GBT KAO) di Wilayah Jawa Tengah. Responden dari penelitian ini adalah 150 pasangan pemimpin KAO GBT di Jepara, Pati, Semarang, Temanggung, Salatiga dan Solo. Berdasarkan uji korelasional menggunakan rumus Pearson, koefisien korelasinya adalah 0,417 dengan signifikansi (Nilai-P) 0,000. Ini menyatakan bahwa ada pengaruh positif dan kuat antara pemahaman pasangan tentang kemarahan berdasarkan buku amsal tentang keharmonisan pernikahan pemimpin Gereja Tabernakel Bethel Christ Alfa Omega di wilayah Jawa Tengah. Hasil regresi antara variabel X dan Y juga dapat dilihat bahwa besarnya koefisien determinasi varians (r2) adalah 0,173, yang berarti bahwa pemahaman pasutri tentang kemarahan berdasarkan Kitab Amsal berkontribusi pada keharmonisan pernikahan. Sehingga semakin baik pemahaman pasangan tentang kemarahan Berdasarkan Kitab Amsal, maka semakin baik interpretasi keharmonisan pernikahan pemimpin Gereja Bethel Tabernakel Kristus Alfa Omega di Wilayah Jawa Tengah

The research results show implementation of soul outreach strategies among the leaders of the Immanuel Community Semarang cell group are in the medium category. The most dominant dimension in implementing soul outreach strategies is the dimension of preaching the gospel. IMPLEMENTASI EMPAT GAYA BELAJAR BERDASARKAN INJIL SINOPTIK DI KALANGAN MAHASISWA SEKOLAH TINGGI TEOLOGI (STT) KOTA SEMARANG
Get PDFThe background of this dissertation is the implementation of four learning styles by the students of Sekolah Tinggi Kristus Alfa Omega Semarang. In the synoptic gospels, these four learning styles were used when peoples learned or listened Jesus’ teaching. Based on these learning styles of Jesus’ disciples, the researchers want to found if these four learning styles (imaginative learning, analytic learning, common sense learning and dynamic learning) are also implemented by the students of Sekolah Tinggi Kristus Alfa Omega Semarang. The different backgrounds of these students like age, gender, faculty and the amount of their brothers or sisters supposed to have impact on the implementation of these four learning styles. The research used descriptive quantitative method. This research found that the implementation of these four learning styles is on the average level (327,8502-337,1853). The most dominant dimension is Common Sense Learning (Rxy = 0,861 or 86,1%). The background most influencing the four learning styles is the educational background of the parents (F = 82,137). According to these results the Researcher suggests following implication: the implementation of four learning styles must be stressed in the Sekolah Tinggi Kristus Alfa Omega Semarang. The students must master the implementation of Common Sense Learning when they are on learning. Parents must elevate the level of their educational backgrounds.
Disertasi ini mulai dengan paparan mengenai latar belakang Implementasi empat gaya belajar di kalangan mahasiswa Sekolah Tinggi Teologi (STT) kota Semarang. Dalam Injil Sinoptik terdapat beragam gaya belajar yang dimiliki oleh setiap orang yang sedang belajar atau mendengarkan pengajaran Tuhan Yesus. Berdasarkan gaya belajar para pendengar dan murid-murid Tuhan Yesus tersebut, peneliti ingin mengetahui apakah gaya belajar (imaginative learning, analytic learning, common sense learning dan dynamic learning) dalam Injil Sinoptik juga diterapkan oleh mahasiswa di kalangan Sekolah Tinggi Teologi (STT) kota Semarang. Latar belakang mahasiswa yang beragam seperti, usia, jenis kelamin, program studi, dan jumlah bersudara tentu akan mempengaruhi penerapan gaya empat belajar tersebut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah tingkat implementasi empat gaya belajar berdasarkan Injil Sinoptik di kalangan mahasiwa Sekolah Tinggi Teologi (STT) Kota Semarang cenderung sedang (327,8502-337,1853). Dimensi yang paling dominan adalah dimensi Common Sense Learning dengan nilai Rxy = 0,861 atau 86,1%. Serta latar belakang yang mempengaruhi adalah latar belakang implementasi empat gaya belajar berdasarkan Injil Sinoptik di kalangan Mahasiwa Sekolah Tinggi Teologi (STT) Kota Semarang pendidikan orang tua dengan nilai F sebesar 82,137. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian maka implikasinya adalah implementasi empat gaya belajar berdasarkan Injil Sinoptik perlu terus ditingkatkan. Gaya belajar common sense learning perlu diterapkan oleh mahasiswa dalam proses belajarnya. Serta orag tua mahasiswa di Sekolah Tinggi Teologi (STT) Kota Semarang diharapkan terus meningkatkan mutu dan tingkat pendidikannya

The purpose of this study was to describe the relevance or similarity between the spirituality of the seven churches in the book of Revelation, which greatly degenerated its spirituality compare with the conggregation at the GBT KAO Ngaliyan Semarang. The results of hypothesis testing calculations, is that the comparison of µ0 values is 40% or equal to 72, while the mean empirical score is 147.8. Thus it is known that the hypothesis value (µ0) or equal to 32, is not the same as the empirical score value of 33.475. Or with other meanings the empirical score value is proven to be greater than the hypothesis value (µ0). The 7th Spirituality Relevance Hypothesis in the book of Revelation to the conggregation of GBT KAO Ngaliyan is greater than or equal to (?) 40% of the maximum value received and the 7th Relevance of the Spirituality of the Church with the GBT KAO Ngaliyan congregation is less or not the same as (<) 40% of the maximum value is rejected. Based on the calculation of the total score obtained the percentage value of spirituality relevance is 42% So, it can be said to be quite understanding. So, the spirituality of the seven churches in Revelation chapters 2 and 3 is not relevant to the spiritual attitudes of the GBT KAO Ngaliyan congregation in Semaran

Evaluation of learning, namely the provision of data based on measurement and assessment.So the method used in this study is descriptive research method about the Implementation of Learning Evaluation by Lecturers at STT Kristus Alfa Omega Semarang This Odd Semester 2018/2019 Academic Year wants to know the level of learning evaluation conducted by lecturers of Christian Education study programs at STT Kristus Alfa Omega Semarang without making comparisons or relationships with other variables.The sound of the first hypothesis is thus, the sound of the first hypothesis is the level of the expected level of implementation of learning evaluation by the lecturer of odd semester Christian Education Education Study Program 2018/2019 in STT Kristus Alfa Omega Semarang in the medium category equal to 60% of the maximum value not accepted .Based on the results of the research item which states "Lecturers provide criteria for assessing numbers: very good, good or not good" has a very low value of 54. This indicates that the lecturer does not provide assessment criteria. He became the center of his community dynamics. As a result, the strength of the community is determined by its own strength, while the potential of others that God places around it, is neglected (Ex. 18: 17-18). But after Moses empowered, work was easier and more effective (Ex. 18: 21-23). Leaders who work hard on their own and do not do empowerment will slow the pace of developing organizations. The JKI Church of Marantha Ungaran has actually implemented an empowering leadership pattern, but it is not yet maximal.
