Get PDFPostmodernism is a reaction against modernism that emerged since the 19th century. In postmodernism, the mind is replaced by desire, reason is replaced by emotion, and morality is replaced by relativism. Reality is nothing more than a social construction; truth is equated with strength or power. Self identity arises from the group. Postmodernism has a characteristic of fragmentation, indeterminacy, and distrust of all things universal (world of view). One of the effects of postmodernism is the rise of mass culture and the spirit of consumerism that has spread everywhere, including church and liturgical music. This phenomenon certainly deserves to be addressed wisely so that the church stays on the right track

Get PDFThis research seeks to find a definite identity regarding the Remnants recorded in Isaiah 10: 20-23. Various theories have been conveyed by Old Testament scholars about who the Remnants were. Some scholars conclude that the Remnants are only limited to the remnants of Assyria. Some consider that the Remnant refers to those who have returned from the Babylonian exile. In fact, some scholars consider that this also refers to future eschatological times. Through biblical studies that have been carried out with the right methodology, this research has produced a conclusion. These Prophecies of the Rest in Isaiah 10: 20-23 have multiple fulfillments. Fulfillment in its immediate context, the remnant refers to the remnants of Israel who escaped the savagery of Assyria and they later joined the Southern Kingdom. While the fulfillment in the distant context, these remnants point to a later eschatological period where God will truly gather Israel again as a nation. The distinctive feature possessed by the rest of Israel is the absolute loyalty to God (New Testament concept: Jesus Christ) and in the future there will be a fair government from God himself. The purpose of the study was to determine the level of implementation of the Tri Darma of Higher Education in the field of teaching by PAK lecturers in the academic year 2018/2019 at STT "Kristus Alfa Omega" Semarang. This study uses a quantitative method of correlational description of data collection techniques in the form of questionnaires, data analysis techniques using correlational quantitative methods. The results of this study, namely; The first hypothesis "It is suspected that the level of boarding life in the student dormitory of the STT Kristus Alfa Omega Semarang is in the medium category or" 70% "is rejected because the value obtained is 76.126%. The second hypothesis "It is assumed that the level of character formation of the STT Kristus Alfa Omega Semarang Semarang is in the moderate category or ? 75%" because the value obtained is 81.65%. And the third hypothesis "It is assumed that there is a positive influence and in the medium category between boarding life on the formation of the character of the STT Kristus Alfa Omega Semarang" accepted because the coefficient value obtained is 0.441 which is positive and in the medium category

This study aims to describe the characteristics of student learning styles which consist of the characteristics of the learning style of 4MAT System. The 4MAT System learning style developed by Bernice McCarthy proclaims four learning models namely; analytic learning, imaginative learning, common sense learning and dynamic learning. This study uses quantitative research methods with a type of descriptive research. With the research subject were students of the Christian Education Study Program at STT Kristus Alfa Omega, Semarang, which numbered 41 people. The technique of collecting data is done through questionnaires or questionnaires. The results showed the level of implementation of the 4MAT System learning style by the Christian Religious Education Study Program at the STT Kristus Alfa Omega, Semarang in the 2017/2018 academic year with a value of 77,177% which was at a high percentage, between (61-80)
