Stylistyka polska drugiej połowy XX wieku i początków XXI wieku
Get PDFThe cognitive situation in Polish stylistics during the period under review changed fundamentally. From a linguistic sub-discipline integrating textual research, stylistics transformed into a trans-discipline, and in fact, almost blended with such disciplines as textology, genology, and discourse studies. A characteristic feature of stylistics is the disproportion in the scope of research covering its various divisions. Studies and dissertations in the field of theoretical stylistics dominate, especially those concerning the basic concepts of the discipline, above all, the concept of style. There is also a significant number of studies on the concept of the discipline itself and its relations with related and neighbouring disciplines. Moreover, studies in the field of descriptive stylistics stand out in termsof quantity, especially those concerning the stylistic varieties of the Polish language: first artistic style, followed by colloquial, scientific, official, and religious styles. This body of work (including syntheses) is further enriched by stylistic descriptions of speech genres and analyses conducted from a discursive perspective. Historical stylistics has received considerably less attention, although methodological discussions and variously configured analyses form a substantial collection of monographs, dissertations, and scholarly articles on the history of Polish language varieties, selected speech genres, or individual texts from past centuries. The largest research gaps are found in the areas of practical (applied) and comparative stylistics. Researchers interested in stylistic issues therefore face ambitious tasks, developing theoretical foundations for the discipline and preparing a research programme to reorient the directions of stylistic development
Selekčná štylistika Jozefa Mistríka a jej oporné body
Get PDFThe central theme of the presented study is the scientific and theoretical contribution of Professor Jozef Mistrík to functional stylistics, which has been continuously developing in Slovakia since the mid-20th century. The aim of the study is to describe and interpretively evaluate Mistrík’s selective stylistic theory, built on the explication of style-forming factors (objective versus subjective), and to create space for its potential elaboration within the framework of modern, communication-oriented stylistics of an interdisciplinary disposition. The second supporting point of the paper is the concept of the stylemma, through which Mistrík once again demonstrates his structuralist and instrumentalist understanding of the style-forming and text-formingprocess. The stylemma thus acquires the status of the basic structural unit of the text, signaling its prevailing style and functional orientation in communication.

Reading the work of Patrick Modiano in light of this lacanian concept of « jouissance » reveals a very singular use of proper nouns in his writings. Get PDFThe present text explores Proustian aesthetics of music from a rather unusual point of view. After having briefly sketched the general outlines of Proust’s view of music (demonstrated by the famous passages on the “little phrase” from Vinteuil’s sonata), the author goes on to confront Proust with a more contemporary musical current – spectral music. As a starting point, we propose a close reading of several texts by Michaël Levinas – one of the founders of spectral music – stressing in particular what we consider to be a very important literary inspiration for one of Levinas’s compositions: the passage on the death agony of the narrator’s grand-mother from the third volume of In Search of Lost Time. This confrontation enables us, in turn, to read the Proustian text itself from a new perspective
Criminal jurisdiction in outer space in multi-module space objects. An outline of the problem
Get PDFThis article is focused on criminal jurisdiction in space in relation to multimodularobjects launched into it. The purpose of the considerations is to present contentious situations in space that are lacking in adequate legal regulation and to proposepossible solutions to the problem. The study of this aspect has a fundamental impact on the development of international space law and also allows for precise and, above all, effective enforcement. In his considerations, the author presents a methodology of classification of crimes in space and also indicates, by citing an examplary situation based on the registration issue, that new multi-modular objects created by the amalgamation/merger of separately registered objects, may cause difficulties in the attribution of responsibility and enforcement of possible criminal acts. The paper uses comparative, deductive, historicallegal and individual case methods. The findings of the analyses confirm that the precision of defining certain aspects is insufficient and there are deficiencies occurring in the Registration Convention, which necessitates updating the Convention’s provisions. Therefore, probably the most effective method is to use potentially optimal solutions focusing on the application of reasoning by analogy in the context of the laws in force on Earth, e.g. the Law of the Sea, the Antarctic Treaty.Problematyka artykułu skupia się na jurysdykcji karnej w przestrzeni kosmicznej w odniesieniu do wielomodułowych obiektów wypuszczonych w przestrzeń kosmiczną. Celem podjętej tematyki jest wyodrębnienie sytuacji spornych w kosmosie, które nie mają odpowiedniego uregulowania prawnego i zaprezentowanie możliwych rozwiązań problemu. Badanie tego aspektu ma fundamentalny wpływ na rozwój międzynarodowego prawa kosmicznego, a także pozwala na precyzyjną i przede wszystkim skuteczną egzekucję. W swoich rozważaniach autor przedstawia metodykę klasyfikacji przestępstw w kosmosie, a także wskazuje, poprzez przytoczenie przykładowej sytuacji opierającej się na problematyce rejestracji, iż wielomodułowe obiekty powstałe w wyniku scalenia/fuzji osobno zarejestrowanych obiektów mogą powodować trudności z przypisaniem odpowiedzialności i egzekucją ewentualnych czynów zabronionych. W pracy zastosowano metodę komparatystyczną, dedukcyjną, historyczno-prawną i indywidualnych przypadków. Wynikiem przeprowadzonych analiz stwierdzono niewystarczającą precyzję definiowania pewnych aspektów oraz braki występujące przede wszystkim w konwencji o rejestracji w zakresie opisywanym w treści artykułu, co wyraża konieczność aktualizacji jej przepisów. W związku z tym prawdopodobnie najskuteczniejszą metodą jest zastosowanie poglądowych rozwiązań skupiających się na zastosowaniu wnioskowania przez analogię w kontekście przepisów obowiązujących na Ziemi tj. Prawo Morza, Traktat Antarktyczny.
La corporéité dans Les Intranquilles d’Azza Filali : du faire signe au faire sens
Get PDFIn her novel Les Intranquilles, the writer seems to rely on the body to put into discourse certain marginal identities that underpin her narrative. Our proposed reading of this text attempts to interrogate the body as a property of discourse and a central instance of signification. The study subjects this property of discourse to a semiotic analysis based on a dual conception: the body as sign and the body as meaning. In other words, the body is conceived, firstly, as the surface on which the characters’ marginality is inscribed. No full textUnfortunately, as evidenced by the data of the Central Statistical Office of Poland (GUS), the number of foster families in Poland has been growing at a significant rate. In all Polish counties are witness, there is a constant search for foster families combined with promotional campaigns that encourage people to create such families. Being a foster parent is a difficult duty that is, nevertheless, extremely beneficial for the society. In this context, both institutional and non-institutional support networks play a significant role. Important examples of the latter include organisations that try to use the Internet to discuss this difficult social topic, communicating it to the broader public. The article discusses the topic of the media activities of selected organisations that support familial foster care. Its aim is to analyse the content of websites and the (auto)presentation of the indicated organisations of the 3rd sector associated with foster parenthood. Examples of ongoing grassroots initiatives include, for instance, Dolnośląska Fundacja na rzecz Pieczy Zastępczej “Przystanek Rodzina” [Lower Silesian Foundation for Foster Care “Przystanek Rodzina”], Koalicja na rzecz Rodzinnej Opieki Zastępczej [Polish Foster Care Coalition] and Stowarzyszenie Nowy Dom [New Home Association]. The research methods used to study the (online) content enables the identification and analysis of the (auto)presentation of the declared objectives and forms of operations of the organisations. The research uses the analysis of the (media) content that supports the following conclusions: the operations of the above-mentioned NGOs are multidimensional because they focus not only on the search for and training of candidates for foster families but also on support for existing foster families. The work of the indicated NGOs concerns the promotion of foster parenthood, the (self-)improvement of volunteers, organisational activities and various types of support for foster parents and their charges.Jak pokazują dane Głównego Urzędu Statystycznego w Polsce niestety nie następuje znaczny przyrost liczby rodzin zastępczych. We wszystkich powiatach w kraju trwają ustawiczne poszukiwania rodzin zastępczych oraz prowadzone są kampanie promocyjne, których celem jest zachęcanie do ich tworzenia. Bycie rodzicem zastępczym to trudne, ale niezwykle pożądane społecznie zadanie. W tej sytuacji istotną rolę odgrywa nie tylko instytucjonalna, ale także pozainstytucjonalna sieć pomocowa. Ważne są tu organizacje, które próbują za pomocą sieci internetowej omówić to trudne zagadnienie społeczne, przybliżając tematykę szerszemu społeczeństwu. Artykuł podejmuje problematykę działań medialnych wybranych organizacji wspomagających rodzinną pieczę zastępczą. Celem jego jest próba analizy treści stron internetowych i (auto)prezentacji wskazanych organizacji III sektora powiązanych z rodzicielstwem zastępczym. Przykładem ustawicznej pracy u podstaw jest np. Dolnośląska Fundacja na rzecz Pieczy Zastępczej „Przystanek Rodzina”, Koalicja na rzecz Rodzinnej Opieki Zastępczej oraz Stowarzyszenie Nowy Dom. Metodologia badań zawartości treści (internetowych) umożliwia identyfikację i analizę (auto)prezentacji deklarowanych celów i form działalności organizacyjnych. Zastosowaną metodą badawczą jest analiza zawartości treści (mediów), która pozwoliła na wyciągnięcie poniższych wniosków: działalność powyższych organizacji pozarządowych jest wielotorowa, bowiem koncentruje się nie tylko na poszukiwaniu kandydatów do pełnienia funkcji rodziny zastępczej, szkoleniu ich, ale także na wspieraniu istniejących już rodzin zastępczych. Praca wskazanych organizacji pozarządowych dotyczy promocji rodzicielstwa zastępczego, (samo)doskonalenia wolontariuszy i pracy organizacyjnej oraz wielorakiego wsparcia rodziców zastępczych i ich podopiecznych

No full textThe article presents the content of the speech at the International Scientific and Practical Conference “Psychology of the city and citizens: perspective and retrospective”, which was organized by the Department of Psychology, Pedagogy and Language Education of the Kharkiv National University of Urban Economy named after A.N. Beketov. The purpose was to present the variety of forms of assistance to a child and family in crisis in Poland and to emphasize the legitimacy of these entities. This seems especially important in the era of the war in Ukraine and the influx of immigrants, which is a particular crisis affecting the family. Crises in the family can cause its dysfunctionality and even the emergence of pathological phenomena such as alcoholism and violence. It is very important in this aspect to take care of the welfare of the child and provide opportunities for optimal development.Artykuł przedstawia treść wystąpienia na Międzynarodowej Konferencji Naukowo-Praktycznej „Psychologia miasta i obywateli: perspektywa i retrospektywa”, która była zorganizowana przez Wydział Psychologii, Pedagogiki i Kształcenia Językowego Charkowskiego Narodowego Uniwersytetu Gospodarki Miejskiej im. A.N. Beketowa. Celem było przedstawienie różnorodności form pomocy dziecku i rodzinie w kryzysie w Polsce i zaakcentowanie zasadności istnienia tych podmiotów. Wydaje się to szczególnie ważne w dobie wojny na Ukrainie i napływających imigrantów, którzy to doświadczają szczególnego kryzysu dotykającego rodziny. Kryzysy w rodzinie mogą powodować jej dysfunkcjonalność a nawet powstawanie zjawisk patologicznych jakimi jest np. alkoholizm i przemoc. Bardzo ważne jest w tym aspekcie dbanie o dobro dziecka i zapewnienie mu możliwości optymalnego rozwoju
