The problem of the research: Intensive physiotherapy outcomes for gross motor and balance outcomes in children with developmental disabilities. Relevance of the thesis: The choice of physiotherapy methods for children with developmental disorders does not always produce the desired results or the effect is not long-lasting, because usualy, gross motor developmental disordes can have residual effects throughout the patients entire life. More and more new methods of physiotherapy are being sought to achieve the desired results more effieciently and quickly by combining physiotherapy methods with each other. There is a lack of data on how TheraSuit affects gross motor skills and balance in children with various developmental disorders. In addition to that, it was interesting to apply this method to children with various gross motor and balance disorders. The hypothesis of the research: Regular physical therapy while wearing the TheraSuit should provide better gross motor and balance results than regular physical therapy alone The goal of the research: To evaluate the effects of different physiotherapy methods on gross motor skills and balance in children with developmental disorders. Objectives of the study: 1. To evaluate the effects of conventional physiotherapy without wearing a TheraSuit on gross motor skills and balance in children with developmental disorders. 2. To evaluate the effects of conventional physiotherapy while wearing a TheraSuit on gross motor skills and balance in children with developmental disorders. 3. To determine and compare the effects of conventional physiotherapy with and without wearing a TheraSuit on gross motor skills and balance in children with developmental disorders. Conclusions: 1. After the evaluation of control group test results, intensive physiotherapy has a possitve effect on the gross motor skills and balance of children with impaired developmental disorders to standing, walking, running, jumping and maintain the balance. 2. After research group evaluation of the test results, intensive physiotherapy while wearing a TheraSuit balance and all 5 dimensions of the gross motor function measure have improved. 3. After comparing the results between control and research groups, it was found that the research group whom received combined physiotherapy while wearing a TheraSuit gross motor skills and balance has improved more effectively than physiotherapy alone

The aim of the study: Determine if there is a relationship between knee laxity with thigh muscle strength and hamstring stiffness. Objectives: 1. To assess whether the strength of the thigh muscles affects the laxity of the knee. 2. To assess whether the hamstring stiffness affects the laxity of the knee. Hypothesis: Greater thigh muscle strength and stiffness in the hamstring muscle lead to reduced knee laxity. Methods: Twelve sports players (5 basketball, 3 American football, 1 football, 1 kickboxer, 1 cyclist, and 1 sprinter) participated in the study. Participants attended a familiarization workshop and completed body composition analysis before the warm-up, which was 8 minutes of cycling on a stationary bike. Passive-stretching and isometric strength tests were conducted using an isokinetic dynamometer System 4 Pro (Biodex Medical Systems, Inc., Shirley, NY, JAV). The knee laxity test was performed using the GeNouRoB robotic arthrometer. The procedure was repeated three times each, and data were collected using a computer for each pressure load. The study recorded the maximum knee extension angle, passive-resistance torque, isometric hamstrings and quadriceps strength, and differential laxity. Results: ACL stiffness was significantly and strongly correlated with quadriceps muscle strength when force was increased from 89N to 200N, and correlated with range of knee extension and hamstring muscle strength when force was increased from 89N to 134N. No significant correlation was found between ACL displacement and thigh muscle strength, hamstring stiffness, and range of knee extension. Multiple linear regression analysis revealed that the range of knee extension, quadriceps muscle strength, and hamstring muscle strength were significant predictor variables for ACL stiffness. These predictor variables explained 46% of the variance in ACL stiffness from 89N to 134N and 37% of the variance in ACL stiffness from 134N to 200N. Conclusion: Knee laxity didn’t have any relationship with hamstring stiffness and thigh muscle strength. These findings may have implications for injury prevention and rehabilitation programs for athletes

The hypothesis of the thesis: A combined physical therapy strategy has been shown to be effective for balance and cognitive function in older adults (Mazzini et al., 2019; Liao et al., 2019; Dunsky, 2019), so we conclude that the combination of goal-directed task performance and cognitive training will have greater impact on balance and cognitive function in the elderly. Aim of the thesis: To evaluate the effect of goal-oriented and cognitive training on balance and cognitive functions in older adults. Tasks of the thesis: 1. To evaluate the effect of goal-oriented training on the static and dynamic balance and cognitive functions of the elderly. 2. To evaluate the effect of the combination of goal-oriented training and cognitive training on the static and dynamic balance and cognitive functions in older adults. 3. To compare the combination of goal-oriented training and goal-oriented training and cognitive function training on static and dynamic balance and cognitive function in older adults. Research methods: Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA), Timed up and go test (TUG), Tinetti balance gait, Single leg stance test (SLST) when performing calculation tasks (dual task). Results: The combination of goal-oriented task performance and cognitive training significantly improved cognitive function compared to the goal-oriented task performance program. But both applied programs had the same effect on static and dynamic balance. Conclusion: 1. After the goal-directed task performance program, static and dynamic balance improved significantly, but cognitive function did not. 2. Static and dynamic balance and cognitive function improved significantly after a combined goal-directed task performance and cognitive training program. 3. The combination of goal-oriented task performance and cognitive training significantly improved cognitive function compared to the goal-oriented task performance program. But both applied programs had the same effect on static and dynamic balance

Employability, and especially entrepreneurship and intrapreneurship, is a topic attracting the interest of researchers in recent years. Although knowledge about creating and managing a company is essential (hard skills), the importance of other competencies such as soft skills and emotional intelligence has also been highlighted in recent years. This study analyzes documents related to Emotional Intelligence, Soft Skills, Hard Skills and their relationship with (intra)entrepreneurship. The methodology used was bibliometric analysis, followed by a bibliographic coupling and identification of thematic areas within this field of study. A total of 121 documents were analyzed, following the PRISMA protocol. The results showed an upward trend over the last five years in the production of works in this field, accounting for approximately 75% of the total number of articles found. Seven different sub-themes were identified. The theme with the most significant impact, which generates the most interest among the scientific community, encompasses personal relationships, emotional intelligence, and the positive work climate for a company's growth. Finally, a series of implications and future lines of study are proposed to help develop and consolidate this research field

Problem. Generally, in the field of research examining autism spectrum disorder, is children with ASD and their executive functions, cognitive functions, education, management of emotions and behavior, social skills competencies. Much less research is done on adults with ASD. This suggests that it is very important to carry out research in a wider research field with older people. Hypothesis – a double task approach has beneficial effects on posture and balance function in adults with autism spectrum disorders. Research aim – to determine the impact of double task method on posture and balance function for people with autism spectrum disorders. Tasks. 1. To evaluate the posture and balance function of individuals with autism spectrum disorders. 2. To compare the posture and balance function of individuals with autism spectrum disorders before the physiotherapy cycle and after the 4-week intervention. 3. To evaluate the effects of 4 weeks of physical therapy on posture and balance function in individuals with autism spectrum disorder. Research methods. A quantitative research strategy and an experimental method were chosen for the study in order to determine the effect of the dual-task method on the posture and balance function of individuals with autism spectrum disorder. The testing was performed using standardized tests: Mini balance test, Berg balance scale, Y balance test, Tinetti test, W.K. Hoeger method. Research results. The research hypothesis was partially confirmed. A physical therapy program that included double task physical exercises was found to have a low to moderate effect on study participants. Different physiotherapy programs applied to the control and experimental groups had a positive effect on the subjects' posture and balance, but no statistically significant differences were found between them. Therefore, we cannot claim that a program based on double task principles is more effective than a regular balance training program. Conlusion. After comparing the posture and balance function of individuals with autism spectrum disorders, before and after the study between the groups, it was found that physiotherapy, during which double task exercises are applied, had no effect on posture, but the balance indicators improved statistically significantly

During the Covid-19 pandemic, the simplest economic, economic and social activities were restricted in many countries. The introduction of pandemic restrictions particularly affected sports organisations: it was forbidden to provide sports services, organise mass sports events, and restrictions were applied on group training and any social gatherings. Various organisational, technological, marketing, communication, public relations and other innovations allowed sports organisations to discover new operational opportunities, generate cash flows, and maintain the continuity of sports organisations’ activities in crisis conditions. The success of innovation is determined by certain factors, named as innovation implementation planning, strategic leadership, etc. Therefore, it is relevant to study what factors determine the success of a sports organisation implementing crisis innovations. The purpose of the study is to determine the factors determining the success of the implementation of crisis-driven innovations in sports organisations. Work tasks: To examine the theoretical aspects of implementing crisis-driven innovations in sports organisations; 2. To determine what crisis-driven innovations are implemented in the studied sports organisations; 3. To determine what factors led to the success of the implementation of crisis-driven innovations in the studied sports organisations. Research methods: analysis of scientific literature; structured interview; content analysis. Main results. The research results show that during the pandemic, the studied basketball clubs implemented the following crisis-driven innovations: 1. Necessary innovations according to legislation (disinfection innovations, separation of zones, temperature measurement technologies); 2. Marketing innovations (advertising innovations, innovations in the development of social network marketing, e-commerce, including the sale of licensed products); 3. Innovations in remote communication with fans (innovation of match previews on online platforms, "cardboard image" innovation, development of social networks, fans inclusion in the commercialisation of social media, creation of a virtual community of fans, e-sports); 4. Innovations to support the internal work of the club (remote communication within the club using Teams software, online training of basketball players). The most successful crisis-driven innovations were communication within the club and in the office through Teams; content marketing in social networks and its commercialisation, as well as solutions for selling advertising content during pandemics. Conclusion of the work: The success of the implementation of crisis-driven innovations of the basketball clubs studied during the pandemic was determined by the entrepreneurial spirit of the organisation, know-how in the field of innovation, strategic and tactical, quick planning, effective teamwork and having specialists in the organisation, managerial and innovative competence of managers, charismatic and innovative leadership, work with personnel (strengthening microclimate, encouraging the cooperation, psychological support for employees, motivation, openness in communication with employees), sufficient financial and human resources
