Бенчмаркінг в морській освіті онлайн: відстеження еволюції оцінювання в електронному освітньому середовищі
No full textСтаття категорії БThe paper is devoted to the analysis of the evolution process of assessment practices in online maritime education within electronic educational environments (EEEs). It is highlighted that with the increasing popularity of EEEs worldwide, especially amid the COVID-19 pandemic, online education has become a crucial tool for ensuring continued access to learning. It is mentioned that despite the growing importance of e-learning platforms, there remains a gap in understanding best practices, trends, and innovations in assessment methods within this context. A comparison analysis of the most popular e-learning platforms is conducted in the study. The benefits of Moodle while online maritime education are mentioned in the article. The results of the study showed that Moodle has many tools and instruments for future ship engineers who want to study maritime English. The study also found that Moodle offers flexibility, interactivity, and efficiency in evaluating students' learning progress and outcomes with the help of these tools and instruments. This work highlights that while Moodle's assessment tools are effective, teachers can enhance the teaching and learning experience for both themselves and their cadets.
Стаття присвячена аналізу процесу еволюції практик оцінювання в морській освіті онлайн, а саме в електронних освітніх середовищах (EEE). Підкреслюється, що зі зростанням популярності EEE у всьому світі, особливо в умовах пандемії COVID-19, онлайн-освіта стала ключовим інструментом для забезпечення постійного доступу до навчання. Зазначається, що незважаючи на зростаючу важливість платформ електронного навчання, залишається прогалина в розумінні найкращих практик, тенденцій та інновацій у методах оцінювання в цьому контексті. У дослідженні проведено порівняльний аналіз найпопулярніших платформ електронного навчання. У статті згадуються переваги використання Moodle під час морського онлайн-навчання. Результати дослідження показали, що Moodle має багато інструментів і діяльностей для майбутніх суднових механіків, які хочуть вивчати морську англійську мову. Дослідження також виявило, що Moodle пропонує гнучкість, інтерактивність та ефективність в оцінюванні прогресу та результатів навчання студентів за допомогою цих інструментів та діяльностей. Ця робота підкреслює, що, незважаючи на ефективність інструментів оцінювання Moodle, викладачі можуть покращити досвід викладання та навчання як для себе, так і для своїх курсантів

Запропоновано шляхи подолання міжкультурних бар’єрів для підвищення рівня взаєморозуміння між членами екіпажу.
The article examines the problems of verbal communication in multinational ship crews caused by linguistic and cultural differences. It analyzes the impact of language barriers and specific maritime terminology on the effectiveness of professional interaction. No full textКатегорія журналу Б.У статті розглядається проблема розвитку hard та soft skills курсантів вищих морських навчальних закладів при вивченні дисципліни «Морська англійська мова»; акцентується увага на інтердисциплінарних зв’язках дисциплін різних циклів підготовки; наголошується, що процес навчання морської англійської мови майбутніх моряків повинен базуватись на комунікативному підході, який дасть змогу майбутнім спеціалістам реалізувати свої потреби у набутті знань, умінь та навичок вже безпосередньо на борту судна оскільки вони будуть працювати у змішаних екіпажах.
У дослідженні також виділено групу ЗУН (знання, уміння, навички) необхідних для отримання підтвердження своєї професійної готовності здобувачу ВНЗ (вищий навчальний заклад) і групу ЗУН необхідних для кар’єрного зростання; зазначено, що дисципліна «Морська англійська мова», при підготовці курсантів вищих морських навчальних закладів виступає своєрідним синтезатором ЗУН набутих ними у процесі вивчення дисциплін професійного циклу (hard skills) і одночасно передбачає формування та розвиток таких умінь та навичок як: критичне мислення, креативність, вміння працювати в команді, культурна обізнаність, комунікативні навички, гнучкість, тощо (soft skills).
Звертається увага на те, що неоднорідність знань курсантів при вступі у морський ВНЗ та їх подальший розподіл по підгрупах варіюють складність та типи завдань на заняттях.
Доведено, що дисципліна «Морська англійська мова» є універсальною для підготовки майбутніх фахівців до їх професійної діяльності (в аспекті розвитку hard та soft skills), оскільки інтегрує ЗУН набуті з професійно-орієнтованих дисциплін і дозволяє їх застосування для розвитку soft skills.
The article examines the problem of Hard and soft skills development of higher maritime educational institutions cadets while studying the discipline ""Maritime English""; emphasis is placed on the interdisciplinary connections of the disciplines of different training cycles; it is underlined that the process of teaching maritime English future sailors should be based on a communicative approach, which will enable future specialists to realize their needs in acquiring knowledge, skills and abilities directly on board the ship, as they will work in mixed crews.
The study also pointed out the group of knowledge and skills which are necessary for obtaining confirmation of professional readiness for a higher education applicant and the group of knowledge and skills which are necessary for career promotion; it is stated that the discipline ""Maritime English"" in educational preparation of cadets of higher maritime educational institutions acts as a kind of synthesizer of knowledge and skills acquired by them in the process of studying the disciplines of the professional cycle (hard skills) and at the same time provides for the formation and development of such knowledge and skills as: critical thinking, creativity, ability to work in a team, cultural awareness, communicative skills, flexibility, etc. (soft skills).
Attention is drawn to the fact that the heterogeneity of cadets' knowledge upon admission to a maritime university and their further distribution into subgroups vary the complexity and types of tasks in classes.
It has been proven that the discipline ""Maritime English"" is universal for preparing future specialists for their professional activities (in the aspect of developing hard and soft skills), as it integrates knowledge and skills acquired from professionally oriented disciplines and allows their application for the development of soft skills

No full textКатегорія журналу: Б.У даній роботі розглядаються аспекти професійної підготовки судноводіїв з акцентом на тренажерну підготовку, яка повинна враховувати специфічні вимоги професійної діяльності. Наголошується, що якість тренажерної підготовки безпосередньо впливає на ефективність взаємодії системи «судноводій-екіпаж-судно». Для оцінювання рівня професійної компетентності судноводіїв запропоновано використовувати багатокритеріальний підхід, що містить обсяг та якість засвоєння знань, умінь та навичок, а також мотивацію та активність тих, хто навчається. Для реалізації контролю даного підходу необхідно сформувати набір індивідуальних тестових завдань з урахуванням певних властивостей, які повинні фіксувати та оцінювати дії здобувача освіти, його взаємодію з органами управління робочим місцем тренажера, логічні, операційні та часові помилки, повідомляти про дії здобувача освіти та пропонувати необхідні зміни до програми навчання. Розробка автоматизованої системи управління якістю підготовки на основі технологій штучного інтелекту дозволить оптимізувати процес тестування та контролю рівня підготовки, що, в свою чергу, забезпечить адаптивне навчання та підвищить якість підготовки судноводіїв.
This paper deals with the aspects of seafarers professional training emphasizing simulator training, that should consider the specific requirements of professional activity. Underlined that the quality of simulator training directly affects the efficiency of interaction between the “navigator-crew-vessel” system. it is A multicriteria approach was proposed to use assessing the level of navigator’s professional competence, which includes the amount and quality of knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as the motivation and activity of students. To implement the control of the approach, a set of individual test tasks should be formed, considering certain properties, which should monitor and evaluate the actions of the student, his/her interaction with the simulator workplace management bodies, logical, operational and time errors, report on the student actions and propose the necessary changes to the training program. The development of an automated training quality management system based on artificial intelligence technologies will optimize the process of testing and monitoring the training level, which, in turn, will provide adaptive learning and improve the quality of navigators training

This paper considers the assessment of the quality of operation of a ship's frequency converter using a fuzzy logic device. Based on mathematical modeling in the Matlab Simulink environment, response surfaces of the output characteristics of current, voltage and temperature of the keys are given. These surfaces make it possible to more qualitatively diagnose the technical condition of a ship's frequency converter

The existence of this type of control is due to a set of objective factors that have arisen in the process of developing world trade and in connection with the increase in the volume of maritime transportation.
An important stage in Ukraine's fight against the enemy is the further restriction of the right of the Russian Federation to influence the agenda of the global maritime industry. Ukraine should use all available international platforms to convey to the world community the idea of the inadmissibility of a brazen violation of the norms of international law. The appropriate response and real actions of the international community play a key role in preventing similar aggressive actions in the future by other political players. The establishment of an effective mechanism for resolving such conflicts should become a guarantee of peace on a global scale
