The Seljuk state was established in Central Asia at the hands of its founder, the Turkish leader Seljuk bin Dukkak. Various civilizations and states arose in this land, and a clash occurred between them, as well as harmony occurred between them. Civilizations converged, and civilizational contributions joined forces. Therefore, the Seljuk State, which was at that time under the umbrella of the Abbasid Caliphate, was strengthened, and the Saljuqs protected the Caliphate from the Buyid State and the Fatimid State in Baghdad, after it became The Fatimids for a whole year, and participated in many Islamic conquests, so the Seljuk state expanded in Central Asia to the borders of Constantinople in the north, and part of Iraq and Syria in the south, and many sultans and ministers succeeded in ruling this state, who had great contributions in various fields and we will talk about them from By highlighting their efforts in building the role of science and endowing endowments on it, and taking care of scholars and students of knowledge, their role was not limited to that only, but exceeded it to the love of science and scholars, so they had a desire to Some of them excelled in these sciences, and their participation in the jurisprudential renaissance was diverse, and perhaps the most important factor in it is building schools in which jurisprudence is taught in different sects, and establishing endowments on them. The land is like Mosul, Baghdad, Nishapur, Balkh, Herat, and Isfahan, and the great scholars graduated there, and the wise men took over teaching. We will talk about the most important minister and emir of the Seljuk state, Nizam al-Malik, who contributed with the help of Alp Arslan in the construction of scientific edifices, which took care of jurisprudence and jurists, and this is the first time that he walks Education is an academic course similar to what is the case in the current era, in terms of regular classes, follow-up to attendance, and the distribution of professors and scholars on these scientific roles. The form of education has shifted from voluntary, circle education in mosques, in which one sect is taught, to systematic, academic education, in which different sects are taught. Like the Hanafi and Shafi’i schools, Nizam al-Malik was Shafi’i and contributed to supporting schools that teach Hanafi jurisprudence alongside Shafi’i jurisprudence. Jurisprudence has spread and many scholars have emerged whose memory is still immortal. Because they left us a valuable heritage

Using elastic scattering method to determine quality and purity of crude oil and petroleum products

    No full text
In this study, numerical simulation was used to determine the light scattering of crude oil and petroleum products with different purities or qualities. In particular, by assuming the cylindrical container as the boundary condition, the light scattering distribution curves with different absorbency and dielectric parameters were shown. It was found that the scattered intensity versus size parameter curves have different features for samples with different dielectric constants and the smoothness of the curve was modulated by the absorbency of the sample which characterizes the impurity of the samples. In the cylindrical model designed for numerical calculations, standard distributions were obtained according to the calculated light intensities for different absorbed and non-absorbed media

This study aims to investigate the chemical composition, antioxidant, and antimicrobial activity of two essential oils (EOs) from Algerian propolis. The volatile constituents were analyzed by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry. Fifty components were identified from the oils. The major components were found to be: cedrol (17.0%), β-eudesmol (7.7%), and α-eudesmol (6.7%) in EO of propolis from Oum El Bouaghi (EOPO) whilst α-pinene (56.1%), cis-verbenol (6.0%), and cyclohexene,3-acetoxy-4-(1-hydroxy-1-methylethyl)-1-methyl (4.4%) in EO of propolis from Batna (EOPB). The antioxidant properties of EOPO and EOPB were determined using 2,2′-azino-bis(3-ethylbenzothiazoline-6-sulfonate) (ABTS•+) and cupric reducing antioxidant capacity (CUPRAC assays), respectively. Both EOs had more cupric ion reducing ability than scavenging ABTS•+ radicals. The antimicrobial potential of the two EOs against eight pathogens was assayed by the agar diffusion method and the mode of action was determined by microdilution assay. The results revealed that EOPB was bactericidal for all tested pathogenic bacteria and fungicidal for Candida albicans ATCC 10231, whereas, EOPO showed bacteriostatic effect against Escherichia coli O157:H7 and Pseudomonas aeruginosa ATCC27853 and fungistatic effect against C. albicans ATCC 10231. Thus, the obtained results suggest the important use of propolis EOs as preservative agents

In this paper, experimental investigation of the flight performance of the proposed universal Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) in case of rotor failures is presented. In the experimental flight tests, proposed universal UAV that can be converted to many different configurations due to its non-standard multi-layer structure was used in two different configurations as a standard octorotor and a multi-layer dodecarotor. Multiple outdoor experiments are conducted to show flight safety and reliability of the proposed UAV in terms of rotor failure tolerance. In order to evaluate flight safety and reliability of the proposed UAV, take-off, hovering and landing flight performance analyzes were performed in cases where one or two motors/propellers were completely lost. As performance criteria, errors in the UAV's roll, pitch and yaw angles, altitude error and vibration in three axes were determined. The flight test results are presented both numerically and graphically. According to the results, multi-layer dodecarotor type has shown a more stable flight performance in terms of angular position errors. In addition, in both types of UAVs, in the case of failure of two rotors rotating in the opposite direction, it has been observed that the error in yaw angle is less than a rotor failure, as expected. Likewise, in the case of failure of two rotors rotating in the same direction, performance loss was observed in the control of yaw angle

Shalgam is a fermented beverage obtained by lactic acid fermentation and its quality depends on flora. Therefore, it is essential to be able to characterize yeasts, in order to improve the quality and safety controls of final products. This study aimed to identify endogenous yeasts found during the fermentation of shalgam and to determine their technological properties. 172 yeast isolates were obtained and the DNA fingerprints were constituted by iPBS-PCR method. Sequencing of ITS regions of different groups revealed the species of Pichia kudriavzevii, P. fermentans, Saccharomyces cerevisiae, Candida oleophila, Kazachstania bulderi, and Geotrichum candidum. Interestingly, the prevalence of P. kudriavzevii in the flora increased during the fermentation, while the other species decreased. To determine the preliminary technological properties of yeasts, their development at different conditions was examined and 31 technologically superior strains were determined by Principal Component Analysis (PCA). Among these, 17 P. kudriavzevii strains had a vigorous fermentation rate and selected to assess their enzymatic activity. The isolates had diverse enzyme activities, including esterase, esterase lipase, and leucine arylamidase, which may have crucial roles for aroma formation. According to the results, P. kudriavzevii 3-3S9, 3-3S2, and 3-3Y1 strains were selected to be candidate starters for shalgam production

It is extremely important to understand the behavior of the bolted joints under load, according to different parameters, for the efficient and safe use of systems. In this study, the effect of hole tolerance and bolt tightening torque on the tensile strength of single lap, bolted joints were investigated by theoretical stress and finite element analysis. Finite element analysis was carried out as linear-elastic stress and failure analysis. The aim of the study is to investigate the effects of hole tolerance and tightening torque changes on the load bearing capacity of the bolted joint, especially in terms of plate tensile strength. As a result of the study, increasing the hole tolerance has decreased the plate tensile strength. However, the increase of bolt torque developed the tensile strength of the plate. When the effects of the hole tolerance and the change of bolt torque on the tensile strength are evaluated together, it is understood that bolt torque is a more effective parameter. Although the differences between the hole tolerance values selected in the study were very high, the effects of these tolerance differences on the tensile strength were generally below 10%. The effect of bolt torque on plate tensile strength has been up to 37%. Considering that the costs of manufacturing with very low tolerance ranges are quite high, it is concluded that keeping the tolerances at normal levels and increasing bolt torque is a more accurate design according to the results obtained.Çözülebilir bağlantı şekillerinden olan cıvatalı bağlantıların, sitemlerde verimli ve emniyetli bir şekilde kullanılması için farklı parametrelere göre yük altındaki davranışlarının anlaşılması son derece önemlidir.
