Get PDFThe negative environmental impact of CO2 emissions from the concrete industry requires the substitution of traditional materials with waste materials to improve mechanical properties and reduce CO2 emissions. This review compiles information from articles between 2000 and 2021 and analyzes the design characteristics and the results found in the mechanical properties and CO2 emissions of concrete. Also, the eco-efficiency of the mixes was calculated. It was found that emissions depend on the type of substitute, its substitution percentage, and the design conditions (water/cement ratio and compressive strength). Perspectives on the issue and the challenges facing the concrete industry are discussed. It is expected that this review will motivate to include the calculation of emissions and eco-efficiency of concrete as a parameter to quantify its environmental impact.El impacto ambiental negativo de las emisiones de CO2 provenientes de la industria del hormigón, requiere la sustitución de los materiales tradicionales, por residuos que permitan mejorar las propiedades mecánicas, y disminuir las emisiones de CO2. Esta revisión recopila la información de artículos entre 2000 y 2021 y se analizan las características de diseño y los resultados encontrados en las propiedades mecánicas y en las emisiones de CO2 de los hormigones. Asimismo, se calculó la ecoeficiencia de las mezclas. Se encontró que las emisiones dependen del tipo de sustituto, de su porcentaje de sustitución, y de las condiciones de diseño (relación agua/cemento y resistencia a compresión). Se discuten las perspectivas frente al tema y los desafíos que enfrenta la industria del hormigón. Se espera que esta revisión motive incluir el cálculo de las emisiones y la ecoeficiencia de los hormigones como parámetro para cuantificar su impacto ambiental.

Get PDFThe objective of the presented work is to 'develop a model that facilitates complementarity between Circular Economy and Open Innovation from a sustainability perspective, reflected in the economic improvement and eco-efficiency of companies.' This is based on the need to find tools that enable complementarity between both approaches, aiming to achieve a better response in business performance from a sustainability perspective. To address this objective, both theoretical and empirical methods were used, including Modeling within the latter. The main result obtained is an open, flexible, and dynamic model that emphasizes Continuous Improvement, Knowledge Management, Technological Surveillance, and Business Plans. It systematically articulates actions of complementarity between Circular Economy and Open Innovation. The model details functions and requirements so that, once implemented, it allows the company in question to achieve economic improvements and eco-efficiency in line with sustainability principles.El trabajo que se presenta tiene como objetivo, “elaborar un modelo que facilita la complementariedad entre Economía Circular e Innovación Abierta, desde una perspectiva de sostenibilidad, reflejada en la mejora económica y la ecoeficiencia de las empresas”, basado en la necesidad de buscar herramientas que permitan una complementariedad entre ambas y con ello, lograr una mejor respuesta en el desempeño empresarial, desde una perspectiva de sostenibilidad. Para dar respuesta a dicho objetivo se utilizaron tanto métodos de orden teórico como empíricos y dentro de estos últimos al de Modelación, lográndose como principal resultado, un modelo abierto, flexible y dinámico, que privilegia la Mejora Continua, la Gestión del Conocimiento, la Vigilancia Tecnológica y los Planes de Negocio, que articula con carácter sistémico, las acciones de complementariedad entre la Economía Circular y la Innovación Abierta, para el cual se detallan funciones y requerimientos, para que, una vez implementado, permita a la empresa en cuestión, lograr mejoras económicas y una ecoeficiencia acorde con los principios de la sostenibilidad.

Simulación y caracterización de operaciones en la red de aprovechamiento del servicio público de aseo de Sogamoso
Get PDFBased on previous research studies, the need arises to apply operations simulation techniques to the micro-routes of the public sanitation service in Sogamoso. The objective of this research is to characterize the operations in the process of transportation, selection and classification of usable solid waste for subsequent studies to evaluate the economic profitability of the micro routes that optimize the management of waste from the source to the final transformers. Sustainable waste management, efficient use of resources and citizen participation in prevention and recovery are aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (ODS 11 and 12). The study population are the recyclers of the public waste management network in Sogamoso, who know the necessary information to characterize the operations in order to point the results towards ensuring sustainable waste management with citizen participation in the prevention and recovery of waste produced in the city of Sogamoso.A partir de estudios previos de investigación, surge la necesidad de aplicar técnicas de simulación de operaciones en las micro rutas de aprovechamiento del servicio público de aseo de Sogamoso. El objetivo de esta investigación es caracterizar las operaciones en el proceso de transporte, selección y clasificación de residuos sólidos aprovechables para estudios posteriores poder evaluar la rentabilidad económica de las micro rutas que optimice el manejo de los residuos desde la fuente hasta los transformadores finales. La gestión sostenible de los residuos, el uso eficiente de los recursos y la participación ciudadana en la prevención y valorización, se alinean con los objetivos de desarrollo sostenible (ODS 11 y 12). La población de estudio son los recicladores de oficio de la red de aprovechamiento de servicio público de aseo en Sogamoso, quienes conocen la información necesaria de caracterización de las operaciones para apuntar los resultados hacia el aseguramiento de la gestión sostenible de residuos con la participación ciudadana en la prevención y valorización de los residuos que se producen en la ciudad de Sogamoso.

Get PDFThe article argues the categorical apparatus that allows basing, from accredited sources, the gnoseological articulations of the cost determination competence, from an integral approach to the activities of the food and beverage production process, which should have a positive impact on the management of the company and the training of the future graduate with a high level for the labor activity. This result takes into account the analysis of contents as a fundamental method, which, together with the analysis, synthesis, generalization, comparison among other methods and techniques of the theoretical-hermeneutic level, allow obtaining a theoretical model of knowledge management oriented to the determination of costs in university students, which is defined for the Bachelor's Degree in Gastronomy, but with the necessary adaptations it can be applied to other degrees.Este artículo argumenta el aparato categorial que permite fundamentar epistemológicamente, desde fuentes acreditadas, las articulaciones gnoseológicas de la competencia “determinación de costos”, en una mirada integral hacia las actividades del proceso productivo de alimentos y bebidas, lo cual debe impactar positivamente en la gestión empresarial y la formación del futuro egresado en cuanto al desarrollo de competencias para la actividad laboral. Este resultado hace parte de una investigación más amplia. La metodología empleada utiliza el análisis de contenidos como método fundamental que, acompañado del análisis, la síntesis, la generalización, la comparación entre otros métodos y técnicas del nivel teórico–hermenéutico, permiten obtener un modelo teórico de la gestión del conocimiento sobre la determinación de costos, en estudiantes universitarios de la Licenciatura en Gastronomía y que, con las adecuaciones necesarias, puede ser aplicado a otras carreras.O artigo argumenta o aparato categorial que permite fundamentar, a partir de fontes credenciadas, as articulações gnoseológicas da competência de determinação de custos, a partir de uma abordagem integral das actividades do processo de produção de alimentos e bebidas, o que deverá ter um impacto positivo na gestão da empresa e na formação do futuro licenciado com elevado nível para a atividade laboral. Get PDFMexico’s ethnic and cultural diversity attracts millions of tourists, representing an opportunity for stakeholders in the tourism sector. This research aimed to explore the challenges faced by women from indigenous peoples who create textile crafts as part of the cultural elements of alternative tourism. Using a case study method, this work investigated leaders’ experiences from textile artisan groups belonging to the Tzeltal and Ch’ol ethnic groups. The findings reveal that producing textile crafts offers a source of income for women from these two ethnicities. However, a gap in knowledge about the history and meaning of Ch’ol embroidery exists, primarily because most producers are of Tzeltal origin, which hampers the dissemination of the textile’s cultural attraction to visitors.La diversidad étnica y cultural de Méjico atrae a millones de turistas; esto representa una oportunidad para actores del sector turístico. El objetivo de esta investigación fue explorar los desafíos de mujeres provenientes de pueblos originarios que realizan artesanías textiles como elemento cultural del turismo alternativo. Se realizó una investigación mediante el método de estudio de caso, con líderes de grupos de artesanas textiles de las etnias Tzeltal y Ch’ol. Los resultados evidencian la oportunidad de ingreso para las mujeres de las dos etnias estudiadas, en la elaboración de artesanías textiles; aunque, se observa un desconocimiento de la historia y el significado del bordado Ch’ol, dado que las productoras son en su mayoría de origen Tzeltal, lo que limita la difusión del atractivo cultural a los visitantes.a diversidade étnica e cultural do México atrai milhões de turistas, representando uma oportunidade para os interessados no setor turístico. Esta pesquisa teve como objetivo explorar os desafios enfrentados por mulheres de povos indígenas que criam artesanatos têxteis como parte dos elementos culturais do turismo alternativo. Foi realizada uma investigação através do método de estudo de caso, a líderes de grupos de artesãos têxteis das etnias Tzeltal e Ch’ol. Os resultados revelam que a produção de artesanatos têxteis oferece uma fonte de renda para as mulheres das duas etnias estudadas; embora haja uma falta de conhecimento da história e significado do bordado Ch’ol derivado do fato de que os produtores são em sua maioria de origem Tzeltal, o que limita a divulgação do apelo cultural aos visitantes

This work describes the navigational difficulties of WMRs (wheeled mobile robots). WMR navigation mechanisms and strategies to address sub-problems are mappings, localization, and path planning. Planning can be used in all aspects of robot navigation. We will discuss some existing approaches. Accurate robot navigation is very important in agriculture applications . You have to deal with many activities in a complex agricultural environment. Focusing on the complexity of specific agricultural environments, this study anticipates the use of answers to WMR navigation problems in agricultural engineering and demonstrates that this project aims to address the challenges of precise navigation in agricultural areas.

Classical approaches such as cell decomposition (CD), roadmap approach (RA) and artificial potential field (APF). Valoración nutricional de perros y gatos en las clínicas veterinarias de Medellín, Colombia.

The objective of the study was to determine the percentage of Veterinary Clinics in Medellín that carry out nutritional evaluation in their consultations, the parameters used to carry it out and identify the main diseases of nutritional origin in canines and felines. 72 Veterinary Clinics in Medellín were surveyed. 60% of Veterinary Clinics do not carry out nutritional evaluation and use parameters such as body condition (40.7%), diet (44.7%), weight (11.8%) and hair condition (2.6%). The indices used to perform it were ICM (5.1%), ICC (37.1%), BMI (5.1%). 43.6% of the dogs and cats that come for consultation each month are due to nutritional problems, the most frequent being gastroenteric and dermatological. It is necessary to implement formats for nutritional evaluation in order to prevent diseases and improve animal health.La nutrición animal permite el adecuado funcionamiento del organismo y es un pilar básico para el mantenimiento del equilibrio homeostático. El objetivo del estudio fue determinar el porcentaje de Clínicas Veterinarias de Medellín que realizan la valoración nutricional en sus consultas, los parámetros utilizados para realizarla e identificar las principales enfermedades de origen nutricional en caninos y felinos. 72 clínicas Veterinarias de Medellín fueron encuestadas. El 60% de las Clínicas Veterinarias no realizan la valoración nutricional y usan parámetros como condición corporal (40,7%), alimentación (44,7%) peso (11,8%) y estado del pelo (2,6%). Los índices usados para realizarla fueron ICM (5,1%), ICC (37,1%), IMC (5,1%). El 43,6% de los perros y gatos que llegan al mes por consulta son debidos a problemas nutricionales, siendo los más frecuentes gastroentéricos y dermatológicos. Es necesario implementar formatos para la evaluación nutricional con el fin de prevenir enfermedades y mejorar la salud de los animales.

La Representación Femenina En La Filmografía De Hayao Miyazaki Y Su Impacto En Las Jóvenes
Get PDFThis article addresses the narratives with female protagonists in Hayao Miyazaki's films from the perspective of feminist film theory and their relevance for young women between 18 and 25 years of age in Bucaramanga, Colombia. Discourse analysis was carried out, surveys were applied and a focus group exercise was done with the aim of discovering how this population group perceives women on the screen, especially the heroines of the Japanese author. Understanding cinema as a tool for constructing meaning, connections were found with communication theories through the comparative analysis of female representation and perceived influence on growing minds. In approaching these young women, a critical, yet hopeful gaze was found regarding the future of cinema and women in and out of it, with the Miyazakian woman as a standard of progress.En este artículo se abordan las narrativas con protagonistas femeninas del cine de Hayao Miyazaki desde la teoría fílmica feminista y su relevancia para las jóvenes entre 18 y 25 años de Bucaramanga, Colombia. Se realizó análisis de discurso, se aplicaron encuestas y se llevó a cabo un ejercicio de grupos focales con el objetivo de descubrir cómo este grupo poblacional percibe a la mujer en la pantalla, en especial a las heroínas del autor japonés. Comprendiendo al cine como una herramienta de construcción de sentido, se hallaron conexiones con teorías comunicativas a través del análisis comparativo de la representación femenina y la influencia percibida en las mentes en crecimiento. Al acercarse a estas jóvenes, se encontró una mirada crítica, pero esperanzada en cuanto al futuro del cine y la mujer dentro y fuera de él, con la mujer miyazakiana como un estándar de progreso
Participación de la mujer en cargos directivos de los entes deportivos municipales del área metropolitana del Valle de Aburrá
Get PDFEl artículo presenta un estudio cualitativo sobre la participación de las mujeres en cargos directivos de los entes deportivos municipales del Valle de Aburrá; se utilizó un enfoque cualitativo, empleando como técnica: la entrevista y la revisión documental. Los resultados muestran que algunos entes cuentan con representación femenina en cargos directivos, mientras que otros no tienen mujeres en estos roles. También se encuentran obstáculos como las responsabilidades familiares y la falta de preparación específica en la administración deportiva. La mayoría de estas entidades no tienen políticas para promover la participación de las mujeres, y se hace necesario mayor equidad de género en el sector deportivo; aunque las mujeres en cargos directivos poseen una serie de habilidades y competencias, se pudo constatar que falta más experiencia específica en el sector deportivo. El estudio resalta la importancia de implementar políticas inclusivas y fomentar la participación equitativa de las mujeres en los entes deportivos municipales, destacando la necesidad de superar los obstáculos existentes para lograr una representación más justa y efectiva en el sectordeportivo
